Fish and chips.

It's been years since we were at CJ's. We were greeted with good service and a friendly environment. We ended up there because I was looking for fish and chips, and CJ's didn't disappoint. I don't know if it's the best in the valley but it was good. My wife has corn beef hash. It was good as were the hash browns. This was a great lunch choice. Can't wait to go back.

One of the BEST hamburgers I've ever had. Come try it yourself & you'll agree!

Top notch service, very personable and friendly. Home cooked food fabulously made to order. A favorite of the locals! Off the bidden path . The BEST hamburger I've eaten in years. Made by request ... home made not just a patty handmade

Went back two days in a row! It was a great place to eat on our trip. Every employee encounter we had there was great. I honestly couldn't say better things. The vibes were there, the food was tasty and loveeedd the iced latte. Overall great experience and would go again...and again.

Service charge disclosure states 8 or more.

Food was good, service was good too but BEWARE the menu states parties of 8 or more pay a 20% service charge. There was 7 of us and when we went to complain the owner said it was wrong that it was six or more even if it wasn't disclosed anywhere. He also stated it was a "law" that 6 or more required 20%. Dishonest owner, and arrogant when approached with our questions. Look elsewhere .

From…read morethe moment we walked in, Flora, our hostess and unofficial vibe curator, set the tone with her quick wit and infectious energy. You can tell right away this place isn't just about great food, it's about a great experience. Edger took care of us at the table, and "took care" might be an understatement. Attentive, friendly, and totally on top of it. When there was a small hiccup with my coffee order, he handled it like a pro-no fuss, no delay, just a perfectly remade cup in record time. Speaking of coffee: the Breakfast Republic Specialty Latte? Absolutely phenomenal. One of those drinks you think about long after you've left. We both went with scrambles, and let me just say... come hungry. The portions are generous (borderline heroic), and everything was packed with flavor. No sad, skimpy brunch plates here. Big shoutout to Tony, the manager, for clearly building and leading such a stellar team. The energy, the service, the attention to detail, it all trickles down, and it shows. And don't even get me started on their cheeky, fun swag, it's worth browsing before you head out. As new transplants to the desert, we're calling it now: this is going to be one of our go-to spots. Great food, great people, great vibes-what more could you want?

There were a lot of breakfast options, from specialty pancakes and waffles to unique omelets and Mexicandishes like Chilaquiles. I got the Biancasada omelet, which has carne asada, peppers, onions and cheese. It is served with your choice of side (I got potato wedges) and bread (I subbed the grilled peach specialty pancake). The omelet was ok...the carne asada wasn't great and the other ingredients could have been cooked more. The wedges were good, but I didn't like the grilled peach pancake as much as I thought I would and wished I would have got the lemon blueberry. Portions were big, and I took half to go. Hubby got the chorizo con papas omelet with hash browns cooked extra crispy and a buttermilk pancake. The omelet was really good, and the hash browns were cooked well. The pancake was a pancake. They only have Pepsi products, so I went with water, which they refilled well. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and they had Hawaiian music playing. I'd come back to try lunch. The sandwiches and burgers coming out looked good.

The rooms are slightly dated. Not disastrous. Not horror story energy. Just giving we have seen a few seasons. You can tell the property wants a little refresh in some spots. Very White Lotus if White Lotus had a more budget-conscious cousin. The pool was clean though, and that goes a long way. Especially when you are at a family-friendly place and one bad pool moment can ruin the whole trip. The bowling alley and games for kids were honestly a strong save. That part gives the property some real personality. It is the kind of setup that keeps children entertained and keeps adults from having to hear "what are we doing now" every eleven minutes. The staff was amazing. Warm. Helpful. On it. That was probably the best part of the stay. They gave the whole experience more polish than the building sometimes had on its own. Good staff can carry a property far, and they definitely did some heavy lifting here. The gym is really small, and it could use an update bad. A few newer machines and a little more space would make a huge difference. Right now it feels like an afterthought. Like they remembered fitness at the very end and said okay put two something somewhere and let God handle the rest. The bar and food were decent. Perfectly fine. Nobody at the table was offended. Nobody was composing love letters either. It was the kind of meal you eat, nod at, and then fully forget by the next afternoon. Not bad. Not brag-worthy. Just there. Overall, this is a great stay with some fun family-friendly perks, a clean pool, and great staff holding it all together. It is not luxury-luxury. It is more like resort-adjacent with good intentions and a few solid amenities. it's giving... Palm Springs spinoff energy with a Groupon and a great staff.

Instead, the experience became one of the most upsetting resort stays we've had. While actively swimming in the La Paloma pool with our children, a large amount of brown material suddenly blasted out of a pool jet directly in front of us and spread into the water. It genuinely looked like sewage or waste coming into the pool. We immediately got out along with other guests and attempted to get answers from staff, but no one could clearly explain what had happened or reassure us that the pool was safe. Because of that, we no longer felt comfortable using ANY of the resort pools for the rest of our stay -- which completely ruined the primary reason we booked this resort in the first place. We left extremely disappointed and honestly sad that our Mother's Day and anniversary trip turned into stress and discomfort instead of a relaxing family vacation. Three days later, I also became extremely sick, which only added to the concern surrounding the incident. Management later emailed us claiming it was "filter media sand" from a backwash issue and not waste. They waived our parking and resort fees, but considering we essentially lost use of the main amenity we paid to enjoy, that did not feel like an appropriate resolution. We respectfully reached out requesting either compensation for the room or the opportunity to return for a future stay so we could actually experience the resort the way we intended to. We never even received a response. For a resort at this price point and under the Westin/Marriott name, the handling of this situation and the lack of customer care afterward was incredibly disappointing.

The menu is extensive with plenty of excellent selections, though the pricing is definitely premium. For instance, a Cobb salad topped with fish can easily exceed $45; while the quality is high, that's a significant jump over nearby staples like Daily Grill. Service was friendly but lacked consistency; our server disappeared mid-meal without a hand-off, requiring us to flag down other staff. It feels like a lived in house with a courtyard and all of the feelings that make it "home." It's familiar and inviting and that's just the beginning. We've been to Palm Springs many times and I've had this place bookmarked for too long and never had an opportunity to try it. When my Team and I came into town for a conference, we decided that since it's a weekday, it would be the best time to try this place out. It breathtakingly did not disappoint. I ordered the Complete savory crêpe and had I not been drinking so much water from the heat, I would have devoured this in one sitting. The side salad is a nice touch and balances out the heaviness of the egg and the ham. My coworker had the avocado toast and was overjoyed that it was very plentiful and well portioned. She also ordered a fresh grapefruit juice which she let me try and I found incredibly refreshing. This is by far one of my favorite breakfast places in California! Our server was busy with many tables and at one point we did have to ask for a refill on water. It also took a really long time to get our check after we had asked for it.
