We usually like Texas Roadhouse, but this location is gross! We should have left after being seated at a table that had food smashed all over the seat and wet, dirty plates on the table. I asked for med-well steak and it came out med-rare with overly cooked, soggy rice with a random macaroni noodle. My kid ate most of his slider before realizing that it was red!! So disgusted with this location and the lack of cleanliness! The only thing it has going for it was our server.

Outstanding Service at Texas Roadhouse. Texas Roadhouse 42790 Jackson Street, Indio, California 92203 760-262-1002 I walked up right at closing and asked if it was still possible to get some food to go. The whole crew looked like they had just finished a long shift and were ready to head home. Totally understandable. Then the manager--who introduced himself as Frankie--stepped up, asked what I wanted, and made it happen without hesitation. Frankie and his crew went above and beyond. Instead of treating me like an inconvenience at the end of the night, they treated me like a valued customer. That kind of service and professionalism is rare these days. Frankie's leadership showed in how his team handled everything--friendly, respectful, and still committed to great service even at closing time. The food was great as always, but the service is what really stood out. Frankie and his team definitely made my day. Big thanks to the entire crew at: Texas Roadhouse 42790 Jackson Street Indio, California 92203 760-262-1002 Five-star service all the way. Big thanks! -- Jordan

16 oz Sirloin cooked perfectly medium rare :)

So a few years back on grand opening week, I was very excited to finally come here and eat! However... our experience was not the best. The food took forever to come out, they ran out of bone in Ribeye, and some of the steaks that we ordered (medium rare) were still cold in the center. So all types of bad. Which made me very hesitant to ever come back, but that goes without saying, " Why would you want to go opening week, where things like this COULD happen" BUT the second time around, which was today, things definitely took a turn for the best. The rolls are still amazing especially with the cinnamon butter. I ordered the 16oz Sirloin with sweet potato and side salad. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare all throughout with a nice crust. I must say that it was lacking a little salt, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, I could've just added salt myself if I wanted to. I always forget to show a cross section of the steak, but not this time! The plating may seem a little off as the steak is all by itself but it didn't bother me at all. Overall, the first experience with Texas Roadhouse was awful, but the second time more than made up for it and I will be gladly returning here!

I got the 12oz NY strip, medium rare. They actually cooked it right. Many times they over or undercook it. But this place got it right. The staff were really patient with us as we were a larger group. It was unfortunate that they had to split up our party to seat us. Definitely got crowded the closer to 6 you got. The main problem with this place is all the birthdays and crazy loud singing. It may be fun for the birthday people but for everyone else it's rather annoying as you have to stop your own conversation until it's over.

This was a gem of a find in an area new to us. Thanks to Yelp we found more than we expected. We started with the blossom onion, oh boy was it yummy. We shared a rib and steak dinner. Veggies, Mac n cheese and a salad. We will definitely be back. We had the sweetest server, Adri, she was so attentive and answered all of our questions. They seat you with warm rolls and honey butter. It was such a nice touch.

14 ounce prime rib and baked potato (very rare). I did order medium rare, but way too undercooked for me.

First time to a Texas Roadhouse and I really wanted it to be 5 stars. Had built it up in my mind as being a great spot. Sadly, I can only give it 3 stars, partly I am sure from what I ordered and partly for the food, which was good, but just good. When you walk in, you really get that roadhouse vibe and looks really cool inside with decor, lights, wood, Texas theme all around. Some nice steaks in a case behind the glass, so far so good. Was seated and my waiter came right away with bread and a cinnamon butter and to take my order, nice guy. I ordered an Iced tea unsweetened, prime rib 14 ounce, medium rare, Baked potato and a salad with blue cheese. More on the food in a minute. Funny thing happened, after I ordered, went to the restroom, took a wrong turn and walked to the front, then they told me the restroom was in the other corner. Came back and everything was cleared from my table, my iced tea was gone, bread and butter gone, silverware and napkin all gone. Apparently, they thought I took off after I ordered, kind of weird, but no big deal. Brought out new everything and GTG. The iced teas was brewed perfectly, bread was great and the cinnamon butter made it taste like I was eating a cinnamon roll, yum! The salad was next, again very good although very small, which was surprising, blue cheese was on point. Those were the highlights. Then came my main course, the prime rib seemed almost uncooked, I did order medium rare, so maybe my fault, but it was too raw for my tastes. Flavor was good though with the raw horseradish, but did have a different flavor than other prime rib I have had, can't put my finger on it, just not as good. The baked potato came with butter and sour cream, no chives, no green onions, which should not be a thing, should always have those, just makes it that much better. I added some purple onions as a substitute. Potato again with the prime rib, was just ok, even with the butter and sour cream and pepper/onions. I hate to leave 3 stars, but have to be honest with my experience and hoped for so much more. Prices were decent for a steak house, but would have paid a little more for a more enjoyable dinner. They do give you free bags of peanuts you can eat or take which is a nice touch. Enjoy!

As we walked in, luckily no one was waiting. We were seated quickly. I had a great experience. First time being in a Texas Roadhouse. Free peanuts in shell provided at every table. I can't remember our waitress name but she was amazing. She was attentive, clarified how we wanted the meat to be cooked, and made sure we were always taken care of. The steaks were cooked perfectly, just as ordered. We had freshly baked rolls with a honey cinnamon butter. The rewards for this place is a bit confusing in getting points added to your account. Plenty of parking available even though there is a gym nearby. Huge parking lot. I really like the windows for pickup only. Reminds me of somewhat a drive thru but not a drive thru. I will definitely be returning.

Came here with the fam we're not regulars at Texas roadhouse but we like to occasionally mix things up and this is one of my favorite places to mix things up at it was packed as always the ambience is typical country icehouse vibe. The food was excellent especially the rolls. The service was decent. Nothing to complain about overall we enjoyed the experience and the food. I'm certain we'll be back.

I had a great time eating delicious food and drinks here. The vibes were super fun and loud. The servers were very accommodating and fast. The food was exactly like expected and I ate so much and it was awesome.

This Texas road house trip blew me away. The steak was amazing..... - Rattlesnake Bites 1.6/5 Very very creamy, deep fried donut ball looking. Not enough jalapeño, very creamy and cheesy. Wouldn't get again. - Ribeye Steak 5/5 Wow, a 12oz ribeye steak perfectly cooked. It was so tender and so juicy. - Ribs 4.1/5 Fall off the bones ribs, very very tender.

$5 Margaritas, yummy, joined by our "Tequila Chihuahuas"...lol

Great location! Get here early as it fills up fast. Good food. Sit in the bar and be served by Aaron. YOU ROCK!!! This guy is Awesome! He is everywhere at once. Makes a mean Margarita! The next day we even ordered To Go food for our room. Wow! Great pick up area. So efficient, she shows you everything in your order so you don't need to re-check. Friendly and fast! Thank you everyone. We will be back again and again.

    cocktail w/ earring

I loved coming here when this restaurant first opened, but every visit since then has progressively gotten worse. My final straw was finding an earring in one of our cocktails. Our server, Cobo, was very soft-spoken and difficult to hear, which already made the experience frustrating. When we brought up the earring, the response lacked any real concern or compassion, and no manager ever came over to speak with us about it. After Cobo dropped off the check, he disappeared for about 10 minutes. They didn't fully comp the drink. It was $9.75 and they only comped $9. We had to ask another server to help us correct the bill. Yes, 75 cents isn't a big deal, but the issue wasn't the money it was the lack of accountability and care after something that serious. I should not be expected to pay anything for a contaminated drink. Unfortunately, this experience sealed the deal for me

*Uncle D & Auntie V are Legit*…read more I take my BBQ & Brisket very seriously...and I'm thrilled Uncle D does too. So happy to stumble upon this lovely lively couple serving up their incredible BBQ food at the Palm Springs Art Museum commemorating & celebrating Juneteenth. Uncle D & Auntie V were so sweet & kind, they take their craft very seriously, and appreciate their customers. I had one of the BEST BBQ Brisket Sandwich's ever. And I've eaten & sampled my fair share. When I expressed I'm from LA and would drive all the way to Compton for the OG Bludso's BBQ & Brisket and Ribs with my BF, Auntie V's face lit up and says "I know it very well...and Darly is from Compton." When I told Uncle D, he expressed he knows Kevin Bludso personally...so I already knew I was in for a major brisket treat. After devouring my Sando in record time -- though I slowed down towards the end -- because I did not want it to end. I told my wife "I could eat 2 more of these." And speaking of which -- wifey's not too keen on BBQ like her hubby but can appreciate a great piece of quality meat. She took one bite (right smack in the middle -- which I suggested because it's the best bite :) and her response? "Oh my god...I could eat one of these." I've never heard her say that about BBQ Brisket. What makes Uncle D's Brisket so special? It's smoked & cooked overnight in a smoke-pit ~~ seasoned to perfection ~~ not fatty nor salty one bit...and don't get me started on the BBQ sauce that's not too thick & not too thin ~~ not too sweet & not too tangy ~~ it's simply perfection. And the bun too. This sandwich is so good you don't even need TEETH to enjoy because the mEAT is so soft & tender ~~ as perfect brisket should be. Following brisket consumption I went back to share my thoughts with D & V and when I said "not only is this one of the best I've ever had, it's better than Bludso's." D Looked me right in the eyes and softly said "really...seriously?" "Yes indeed" I said and he thanked me again. Then I told him "this section should be labeled: "The Art of Brisket" and D smiled at me so wide I can still see his happy face. Then we fist-bumped because he was wearing gloves but that Sando was so frickin' great I wanted to hug that cool bearded BBQ Master. Wifey had some of their Mac & Cheese and thought the noodles were cooked perfectly, it wasn't too cheesy & oily...and loved that it wasn't too salty. I took a bite and 2nd her notion. Checkout their website to find out where they'll be throughout the Coachella Valley. And make sure to confirm the location because their days & hours change during Summertime. Can't wait to find this hidden gem again...and next time I'm going to try their pulled pork and spare ribs too. And another Brisket sando or two :) {{{Big High Fives}}} {{{Fist-Bump & Hugs}}} Grandslam Huge Fan

This place is seriously beautiful. It feels like a little oasis in the middle of the desert. The restaurant itself great, but the outdoor space is what really stands out--lush greenery, water features, waterfalls, and a really nice outdoor bar and seating area. It looks like it would be perfect for events, but also just a really solid date night spot. We went on a Saturday night and it wasn't overly crowded. We didn't have reservations and had no problem getting in. If you sit in the bar area, they have a great happy hour (inside or outside), and we got a couple dollars off our drinks. There's also a happy hour food menu, but we ended up ordering the carne asada nachos from the regular shareables menu and they were really good. What stood out the most, though, was the service. We recently moved here from the South, and I've honestly missed that warm, genuine hospitality. Our server completely delivered on that. I didn't catch her name, but she was a brunette working in the indoor bar area--super kind, always smiling, and made us feel really comfortable! She checked on us often without being overbearing and just had that natural, welcoming vibe that's hard to find. Food came out fast, everything was smooth, and overall it was just a really great experience. We'll definitely be back and already plan on recommending it to friends!

I was told it wasn't guaranteed for a party that size, but that they would do their best to accommodate us--which felt fair. The day before our reservation, I received a call informing me that there would be no outdoor seating available at all due to a private event, and that the outdoor space would be limited to light appetizers only. We were told we would be seated inside. When we arrived, you can imagine my surprise to see multiple large groups sitting outside enjoying full meals. There was clearly outdoor seating available--one table of 8 and another of 10--and people were being fully served. When I asked the hostess about it, she told me those guests were "walk-ins." So somehow, people with no reservations were able to get outdoor seating, while our group--who planned ahead--was not. I then spoke to the event planner, Mary, who was extremely rude and dismissive. I asked her to explain how you have a party of 10 that can just walk in and be seated outside. Made any sense when you had a party at 12 who made a reservation who were forced to sit inside! She had absolutely no comment. It felt like a rule had been created that anyone with a reservation had to sit inside, while walk-ins were prioritized outside. That makes absolutely no sense. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told she was the event manager, and no one else ever came to speak with us. Completely unacceptable. We were finally seated around 7:40 PM, and the service was very slow. It took over an hour to receive our food, we had to repeatedly ask for water, and overall attention to our table was lacking. One staff member did try to be helpful after we had already been waiting quite a while, and our server improved slightly after we voiced our concerns--but by then, the experience was already disappointing. The food itself was actually better than expected--solid, but not enough to make up for the poor service and lack of organization. We are full-time locals and had high hopes, but unfortunately, this experience was frustrating from start to finish. Between the miscommunication, the rude event manager, overall poor management, and dismissive attitude, we will not be returning.
