I love this "hole in the wall" Marsico's place. I've had the cucarachas on one visit, aguachiles another and fish and shrimp tacos the last time. All three were absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The owner is a sweetheart and very attentive while you dine inside. If you choose takeout, she makes sure everything is packaged nicely. The food wasn't tasty. I now see why there are only a few good reviews and few customers in there compared to other mariscos in the Indio area. Our entrées took a long time to come to us even though they were only a couple of tables with customers in there at the time. We had a shrimp ceviche that had a lot more cucumber and onions than shrimp. The fried fish was bland. I got a combo that had Carna asada and lobster tail. The carne asada Tasted good but it had the texture of soft beef jerky. Kind of chewy. Will never come back again. read more

Came here with my buddies after a round of golf. Now I'm not sure if we were just extremely hungry (and intoxicated) but wow wow wow the food was amazing. We all got micheladas which were delicious. For my food I ordered the aguachiles and my oh my they were DELICIOUS. The flavor and spice were absolutely perfect and they hit the spot better than I had hoped. All the hype about it being good. I usually don't give bad reviews but I have to in this case. The food was under par and the plate was supposed to come with beans and rice, about half way through the meal we were asked if we wanted the beans and rice a little late I would say. This place did nothing disappoint. I was hesitant to try it because I was starving and sea food places like these are often a hit and miss. So, stop scrolling and drive here. Our waitress Vivian was great, patient and explained the menu well. We ordered Michelada, asada tacos, ceviche tostadas and campechana cocktail. Ask for the spicier salsa. Cheers and enjoy! This is a new establishment. Ordered the oysters an shrimp mixta. Oysters were fresh n cold. Not what I expected of the shrimp mixta tho'. Tremendous amount of onions and cucumbers non appetizing. But, respected the fact that this is a family owned business and had two sons about my own son's age helping out. I will give them a chance and try them again. Come try their food. Our first visit today to this new restaurant for lunch and we LOVED it! The food was so good. Had the special - shrimp chili rellano, which was stuffed with good size shrimp. Very tasty and great sauce. The side salad had delicious pickled onions, tomatoes, lettuce and avocado. Also got a taste of the shrimp taco gobernador. It too, was extra good. They don't skimp on the servings or the shrimp. Other dishes around us all looked delicious. The restaurant is new and is going to be a success. Met the owners who are very nice people and experienced in the restaurant business. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

I came with a group of friends. It took 45 min to get would drinks let alone water. Finally 2 hours later with out joking only some of us got our food while the rest had to continue to wait. My friend got a molcajete and when she asked where her food was at over 2 hours they had said that they had not even started on it. I would not recommend this place. read more

My husband and I came in for dinner, he ordered about 4 different tostadas de mariscos. They were good, and 2 micheladas. I must say the micheladas were delicious. I ordered enchiladas de camarones. The ceviche came out quickly & my enchiladas took over 30 minutes to serve. I didn't get my food until my husband was done eating. After first while I was waiting I thought maybe it took a lil time to cook and it would probably be fresh and hot. When I finally had my food served after waiting 40 minutes I could see the rice looked cold( I checked the rice and it was as cold as when stored in the refrigerator, the cheese from the enchiladas were slightly melted , When I cut in to the enchilada I could see the shrimp was thrown in and rough cut, took out the shrimp and it was as cold as a ceviche shrimp. I when my server came over I let her know if the cold food and I sent it back. I didn't pay for the enchiladas, i sat there nearly an hour hungry waiting for my food hungry while my husband ate. As some one coming from customer service and customer satisfaction I would have offered to discount or comp some of the food or drinks. Even with out my food bill the order was expensive. I wouldn't have complained if the price of the service would have been fast and the food had been on point. I'm only rating 1 star for the micheladas and one of the tostada that i tried was good. I'm not sure I would go again. read more
