Great food and service! Chips and salsa were a great start with crisp chips and spicy salsa. Had the flautas which were crisp but not greasy...and refried beans were amazing! Cheesecake was quite delicious too!

To begin place needs an upgrade! Food same! I don't think I will be a returning costumer. Service was nice.

Best Guatemalan restaurant in Southern California! Had a great time enjoying delicious chapin plates. Better than LA restaurants hands down.

Amazing food, many options and they are all Mouth watery. They have kareoke nights and that a big plus in my book.

Upon landing in Palm Springs for a weeklong vacay, Gayle and I ventured to the downtown strip in…read moreseacrh of a later evening meal and came across Crudo. Even though they were closing in a hair over 30 minutes, they graciously seated us and provided service that gave no hint of urgency or distraction from closing duties. Another, larger group of conventioneers were seated a few minutes after us... and again, the service for them didn't falter one bit. The food here was amazing! As Michelin-star restaurant afficionados, it's a real gem when you find a restaurant not listed in the guide, yet clearly should be. As one would expect in PS, the cocktails were the star opening act and didn't miss a beat. For Gayle, the Passionfruit Lemon Drop - a generous pour of strong liquor with bright, splashy flavors accompanying. For me, a Strawberry Basil Margarita that might have been made with mezcal instead of tequila (and an extra heavy pour at that)... but honestly, I didn't mind one iota. On to the mains, where Gayle had the Lobster Quesadillas which she described as "tender and gooey goodness in a housemade flaky tortilla." My Surf 'n' Turf Tacos, on obviously fresh pressed blue corn masa tortillas were phenomenal... steak and shrimp perfectly cooked, melting cheese infused within, and an herbaceous guac-like spread on the inside of the shell that brought a perfect hint of lime and cilantro with it. We wish we'd had room to sample the desserts, but we were stuffed and chuffed and headed to resort to sleep off the calories as it was. So, perhaps, on our next visit. Well done, Crudo! What a great start to a foodie week in the desert.

Indoor outdoor setup, multiple rooms, music going, just feels like you stepped into a little Peruvian escape. Service was good overall and the menu is a really cool fusion of Peruvian and Colombian cuisine. Also... they actually have vegan options on the menu which I get excited about every time. Okay ------ the food itself? Everything was GOOD. No complaints on flavor at all. But... this could've easily been a 5 star experience and there were some pretty big misses. Everyone in our group got their food... except me. About 20 minutes in, our server comes back and lets us know they're out of mushrooms for my vegan ceviche and asks what I want to do. I switch to tofu. Another 20 minutes goes by. At this point everyone is completely done eating, we're basically ready to ask for the check... and THEN my dish comes out. I will say, it was delicious and the presentation was beautiful but yeah, timing was a miss. On top of that, we had to ask about our drinks because they were forgotten for a while. So yeah.....amazing flavors, really fun spot, love the concept... but they've gotta tighten up the timing and communication. I'd still come back, just hoping for a smoother experience next time.

At the end of the evening, everyone votes for their favorites and we create a 60-90 second video about the winning dishes. La Cocina at Reforma is one of those places that absolutely earned its spot. This was an unforgettable meal, and we can't wait to return! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a stunning mural by local artist Ricardo Ruiz, which beautifully depicts the demons we encounter in life. It's a captivating piece that sets the stage for an extraordinary dining experience. Our group of 14 sampled nearly everything on the menu, and we were blown away! For appetizers, the beer-steamed mussels were a clear standout--packed with flavor. We also loved the tres arepa, which was perfectly crisp and hearty. For mains, the 16oz bone-in rib eye chop was the undeniable winner--juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. On the side, the Brussels fritas were a hit, adding a great crunchy texture to the meal. And for dessert, we were spoiled with two winners: the decadent chocolate souffle and an off-menu surprise, Papa's cinnamon bun, which was a warm, gooey delight.
