The place is a little different. There is still sitting inside so you can dine in. You still have the view of the grills and staff cooking up the chicken. (Which I enjoyed watching them cook while we wait for our order). The place is still busy mostly on weekends. We stopped by yesterday afternoon, around 4pm. Staff was friendly, placed our chicken order, which you purchase a whole chicken and you get a whole chicken for free on Sundays. It was about $22 for the chicken. They give you a small pack of tortillas and 2 small salsa containers. We got our order quick. Chicken has really good flavor and cooked well. Must try if you are ever in the area!

Sometimes you'll be attended to and other times, you'll have to flag down someone. Standouts for me: enchiladas. I made darn good enchiladas, so for me to order them in a restaurant is rare. Agua de piña was so refreshing and sweet. The chilaquiles were saucy and delicious. The sopes were so good! You can tell that the carne they use is high quality. I know where to go when I need soup because the Caldo de Rez was my favorite!
