Shrimp And Crab tostadas (also called jaiba ) . Served deconstructed.
Mylexus P.

Service with a smile! The worker behind the counter did not speak English and so I was able to flex my bilingual-ness when placing my order lol. Everything was seasoned to perfection *insert visual of salt bae and a chefs kiss* Price point was reasonable and not to mention the FRESHNESS of the food!! Here's what we ordered: Agua Fresca piña (pineapple flavored juice) bomb, can never go wrong with this flavor. Shrimp and crab tostadas (I could do without the tostada shell and eat just that like a soup , yes, it's that good. Would definitely order again. Chilies Gueritos (shrimp stuffed yellow peppers) I'd say these were surprisingly a bit greasy. Still tasty flavor, I'm greedy so I expected it to be PACKED with filling. 1000/10, I recommend

Seafood tower

This place took a party of 20 last minute. It looks small on the outside but it actually has a ton of room and has live music on the weekends. I was a bit hesitant as when you walk in and sit down it isn't much to look at plus seafood in the desert.... however I was proven wrong. I got a mango ceviche and it was the best I ever had. The man got fish tacos and he also said best he ever had. My friend got the seafood tower and it was massive. Another guy got the grilled shrimp and they were amazing. They also have probably the best guacamole I have had in a long time. The staff was friendly especially with a last min large group of dirty ballplayers. When in the area I would go back. There are soo many options and not just seafood.

Torre Mangoneada

We came here twice in one weekend. All the mariscos were super fresh, the mojarra was CRISPY and well seasoned, my sister ordered a sope de pastor and it was bomb, my mom ordered fish tacos and they were really good. The torre mangoneada was really fresh and had like a full avocado in there. Recommend the drinks in the coconuts! I would say the best was the aguachiles rojos but know that they are SPICY lol. The ladies working there are super sweet and they get everything done so fast! Definitely recommend

Wow. One of the best meals we stumbled into on this trip! Seriously well done. This is worth a stop! Rivals fancy places we've been. Family run, great service, and the food was amazing. We tried: Tostadas Especial, which was an enormous fresh ceviche tortilla. The seafood was fresh, the marinade was fresh and vibrant. It came loaded with shrimp, octopus, abalone, fish, sea s ail, scallops, and avocado. It was a huge portion for $11.99. Shrimp Empanadas: Our server pointed us to the shrimp empanadas because they were made in house (as opposed to the other empanadas) they came out fresh fried, the filling was great- full of shrimp and cheese and they were topped with lettuce, avocado, onions and sour cream. They were $2/ea and amazing. Fish Tacos: These were battered, served in a homemade corn shell, topped with lettuce and pico. The batter was a little sweet. We really liked them and it was a great take on the fish taco. Particularly good with the hot sauce they brought out. Tacos de Governador: The fresh tortillas showed up again, this time stuffed with garlic shrimp, marlin, cheese, and avocado. The marlin was deep red and seemed light it may be been smoked. These were rich and flavorful. Vampiro- this was an interesting tostada- fresh fried tortilla topped with cheese, marlin, garlic shrimp, avocado, and then spicy mayo- like on boom boom shrimp, or a sushi roll and topped with black and white sesame seeds. This was a great little fusion dish that was super tasty. We ordered way too much food because we wanted to try and we loved everything. Please do yourself a favor and stop here!!!

Located on the north/east corner of Palm Dr and Dillon Road this small seafood restaurant offers a variety of food choices: sea food, burgers and traditional Mexican cuisine. Service was ok, nothing special or unique, prices $$$ for what you get. Server never checked with us after food was delivered so attention was minimal. We had chilaquilas with beef, beans, cream and try and green sauce. Over all flavor was a 6 of 10. Plenty of parking available.

Shrimp Burrito

Every time I get a meal from here I am not disappointed. The shrimp burritos are full of flavor and cooked well. Their aguachiles are tasty as is the ceviche with extra lime (I am a sucker for sour).

Crudo - Tostada Tuesday!

Upon landing in Palm Springs for a weeklong vacay, Gayle and I ventured to the downtown strip in…read moreseacrh of a later evening meal and came across Crudo. Even though they were closing in a hair over 30 minutes, they graciously seated us and provided service that gave no hint of urgency or distraction from closing duties. Another, larger group of conventioneers were seated a few minutes after us... and again, the service for them didn't falter one bit. The food here was amazing! As Michelin-star restaurant afficionados, it's a real gem when you find a restaurant not listed in the guide, yet clearly should be. As one would expect in PS, the cocktails were the star opening act and didn't miss a beat. For Gayle, the Passionfruit Lemon Drop - a generous pour of strong liquor with bright, splashy flavors accompanying. For me, a Strawberry Basil Margarita that might have been made with mezcal instead of tequila (and an extra heavy pour at that)... but honestly, I didn't mind one iota. On to the mains, where Gayle had the Lobster Quesadillas which she described as "tender and gooey goodness in a housemade flaky tortilla." My Surf 'n' Turf Tacos, on obviously fresh pressed blue corn masa tortillas were phenomenal... steak and shrimp perfectly cooked, melting cheese infused within, and an herbaceous guac-like spread on the inside of the shell that brought a perfect hint of lime and cilantro with it. We wish we'd had room to sample the desserts, but we were stuffed and chuffed and headed to resort to sleep off the calories as it was. So, perhaps, on our next visit. Well done, Crudo! What a great start to a foodie week in the desert.

What can I say about this place besides that's it's always a must for me. Each and every visit has…read morealway been amazing and excellent. The service, the staff, the drinks and of course the food. The place itself isn't overly big. Patio area is bigger and more open versus inside. There's the main kitchen bar counter seating with about 10 seats the most. All which looks out to the kitchen. A fun dining experience where you can mingle with the chefs. A chefs table experience I would say. Then there's a couple of hi tops tables along the window. I think there's also some seating at the actual bar counter. Bigger group tends to be on the patio as that's where they can accommodate everyone together. We like the bar counter that looks out to the kitchen as it's nice to mingle with the chefs and see how the food is prepared. Plus it's great to chat with the other guest. And you get to see each plates go out. Of course food, started off this time with the ahi tuna but was recommended the blackened version. The fish was cooked perfectly and didn't needed any of the condiments which wasabi, ginger and soy sauce was also part of it. Of course my favorite, the Rubens special. Shrimp, scallops, mussels, crab and clams tossed with garlic, basil, tomatoes, and green onions in white wine sauce and served with linguine. It's a must if it's your first time. Plenty of seafood and the flavors of the sauce is alway delicious. Plus portions is pretty plentiful. And we also had the Ozzys special. Sautéed shrimp and mushrooms in chef Ozzys special sweet and spicy sauce with onions. That too was excellent. The flavors were amazing with the seafood. You don't need to add anything else to it, perfect as is. Every meal has alway been amazing and delicious. Drinks has alway been good. We either get a bottle or one of their cocktails creation. The service is alway great and the staffs are alway outstanding. I highly recommend this place. It's not too big so it can get pretty busy during the rush hour. Plus they closed during August for holiday break.

FACILITY: Small, limited seating indoors with very nice, fun, outdoor seating areas. Love this place. MENU: Simple, easy to understand, great photos online if you have any questions. FOOD PREP: Very well done, like professional in just how it looks. FOOD QUALITY: Professional in how it also tastes... Watermelon Gazpacho was perfect with drinks prior to main. LIBATIONS: drinks and bartender were excellent, fun, and the photo print was very cool. WAITSTAFF: just so nice, and fun making the experience all that much better. We have been enjoying The Plaza Theater so spending a little more time in Palm Springs and this will be one of our favorites places to relax prior to an event. OVERALL VALUE: Good, but it is Palm Springs, outdoors, great locations, classy.. no, not inexpensive but well worth it. TIP: I'd say be nice, be patient, and you will get a table. Don't be an angry rude touron, we don't need that vibe and we see some of that in PS.. You can try for reservations, not sure if they take off season.
