Chicken Pesto Sandwich with crinkle fries.
    Krista Lou ..

WOW!!! Not only is the menu and food spot on the staff there are amazing! We stopped by during a rush hour. They were all calm, getting people seated and served as quick as able, friendly, and worked so well together! TV for the games, good lighting, clean and nice vibe. There was not anything on the menu that did not sound good.

Small place with a bar and a few tables. Friendly employees. Portions are not huge, and they don't give you a lot of fries, but it's enough. I ordered the chicken garlic prosciutto sandwich with fries. And my husband had a burger. My sandwich was good, but a little greasy. Fries were good, and my husband really liked his burger!

Continuing the search for the best half pound cheeseburger in the Valley. The Project Burger was as good as I've had so far. Two patty smash burger with many choices for cheese and additions. Perfect. Seems really popular. I had to wait at the bar for a table. Service was quick and friendly once seated. Only downside is finding the place. That strip of Country Club can be really confusing and any place not fronting the street can be a challenge. Once you find it though, you'll want to come back.

Overall: 4.5/5 [dine in] Wow, this is like an elevated smash burger joint with great service and a unique vibe. They even serve water in a tequila bottle which was unique. Blackened Smash Burger ($18): I had to get this for the black bun. It came with 2 smashed patties, caramelized onions, mushroom, and provolone truffle cream. It was good but the truffle flavor wasn't as strong as I would have liked and I would have preferred it in a sauce rather than a cream. I paired it with a Caesar salad to balance out the heavy meal and that was a great call. Build Your Own Burger ($10) + Pork Belly ($7) + Additional Toppings ($2 each): My husband built his own burger with 2 smash patties, 3 toppings, and house aioli. He went with onions, scrambled eggs, mushroom, and bacon. The pork belly was amazing and the star of the show. The burger was very filling and umami and honestly tasted better than my blackened burger. No side needed. If you love burgers, this is the place for you!

After my 3rd visit this is a 4/5 the other two times I tried it were dishes with steak which were great and today I wanted try their smash burgers which I was a bit disappointed the thing that lacked flavor was the patties no flavor which these burgers rely heavily on the sauces the sweet potatoes and salad were good though Thank you primos

Came here for Coachella weekend and decided to try out this spot. It's a cute and nice place. The inside had a bar area and I want to say about 4 booths inside. Tables were also placed outside for outside seating. We ordered the pika pika and blackened burgers. With each burger, you could get sweet potato fries, crinkle cut fries, or a caesar salad. The sweet potato fries were soooo good especially paired with the caesar salad for a refreshing bite. The fries had a house sauce that was super tasty. I loved the pika pika. It had jalapeños and pineapple which gave it a small spicy and sweet profile. The burgers had thin smash patties and honestly, did not make me SUPER full. The spicy aioli and the cilantro aioli were great with the burgers. To note, they charged an additional dollar for extra caramelized onions (an ingredient that was already in the burgers). I didn't mind but a heads up would've been nice. I would love to come back and try the rest of the menu. Beware - the door squeaks LOUDLY whenever someone comes in/out and that happened every other second.

If you're in the Coachella Valley, it's a must! The service is super friendly and the ambiance is very cozy. We tried: - Spicy Teriyaki Wings & Habanero Aioli (Special Menu) - Handcrafted Mamalona Reese's Shake - Pork Belly Loaded Fries - Mamo's Super Hamburguesa - Shrimp & Al Pastor Tacos - Blackened Smash Burger - Chile Relleno Smash Burger - Steak Sandwich

Project burger has been on my radar for a while. Popped in today after work and the project burger blew me away. While I was eating I was already strategizing on when I can come back again.

A coworker wanted to try Project Burger so we placed an order over the phone, which was extremely easy. The person on the phone was very friendly, patience and helpful. We ordered a lot of food! One of my coworkers and I wanted to try different burgers so we ordered our own and split it! The burgers were absolutely delicious. The patties cooked to perfection and the sauces and condiments were absolutely flavorful. I can't wait to actually go and sit at the restaurant to have the burger! My coworker shared that picking up the order was easy and that the customer service was great! They were pretty busy but still managed to give her a good deal of attention and care.

Man I was super excited to see the Bison burger on their menu. It's been a hot minute since if had one. Burger was juicy and tender and the fries were great. This place had the best customer service as well. SUPER Friendly

Amazing burgers and three cousins that put this place together did a great job. The decor is inviting and so clean. The menu is unique and very tasty. The AI of Mona Lisa tempts you to come back and try the shakes and the Red Bull concoctions Even though the location is hidden, find it off country Club West of Washington.

Project Burger opened in December 2025, and judging by the crowd, Palm Desert collectively decided this was THE place to be!! The spot was packed inside and out, but we lucked out when a group of five finished up and vacated their table... proof that burger karma is real if you believe hard enough!! The service was excellent, almost aggressively attentive in the best way!! We were checked on so often it felt like they genuinely cared about our emotional relationship with our burgers!! Now for the main event: *The Bison Burger came dressed to impress with bacon pepper jack, onions two ways, and a cilantro jalapeño aioli that didn't come to play!! *The Project Burger delivered classic smash-patty perfection with bacon jam doing what bacon jam does...stealing the spotlight!!! *Nora's Breakfast sandwich was an unhinged but brilliant croissant-based creation that blurred the line between breakfast and burger in a way we fully support: smash patty, eggs, ham, bacon jam, and cream cheese!! *Blackened burger brought truffle energy, mushrooms, and provolone like it had expensive taste and wasn't afraid to show it. This was the best one!!!! Every burger was deliciously unique!!!! No notes. We'd absolutely come back next time we're in the area.

The food was good overall and definitely satisfied the burger craving. The experience, however, was a little mixed. The service felt a bit awkward at times, and a few interactions with the staff just rubbed me the wrong way. Nothing major, just an odd vibe. The location itself could have been a little cleaner and more polished. I also noticed the Guy Fieri feature on the wall--which is cool--but at the end of the day, the food and experience still have to speak for themselves. Overall, the burger was good, but the service and atmosphere left some room for improvement.

Seriously one of the BEST pastrami sandwiches I have had. My wife had some and thought the same and my mom tried it and she was amazed. This lil spot knows how to make pastrami. and the House chips were pretty over the top too. 122 mile drive for us but might have to venture back for a great pastrami sandwich. Moms salad was also good, massive and we share it and still didnt finish it. Young lady came in and remembered this crew from way back too and that was cool to see. Lots of TVs, good amount of seating and great service. If your out for an event or lucky enough to be a local this spot is worth checking out and if you love pastrami its a MUST.

But after a long day of shopping and driving, this islands is usually our go to for our first day of vacation and was the only thing we could agree on to eat. Despite coming in an hour before closing, we were treated with so much respect and kindness. No cold shoulders, no dirty looks or anybody making it seem like we were inconveniencing them, even though we were. Our server, Daniel was SO kind, attentive, and just over all amazing. One of the best servers we've ever had. He made it a point to let us know we were no trouble at all, and had an overall positive attitude that made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Our food came out very fast and was hot and delicious. Daniel made sure to refill our drinks, had no trouble getting some containers to go, and didn't rush us to pay by bringing the check early, he waited until we asked for it to bring it. We made it out just after closing, I believe closer to 9:10, and although our consciouses felt guilty, none of the staff made us feel this way. Establishment was clean, staff was doing side work, but that's normal for a restaurant almost closing. I was so pleased with this experience. We won't be going In an hour before closing again, but thank you to this islands and most of all, Daniel, for making us feel welcome.
