I did get a nice white pizza and pesto slice with tomatoes. The crust was good as was the pizza itself. I didn't even see a pepperoni option, but maybe they were in process of making another because it's popular? Bottom line it was tasty affordable and quick, I'd go back and see what slices they had if in the area. The place is located in the heart of downtown Denver where hustle and bustle is live after Covid . Sliceworks is pretty good . I wouldn't mind eating this pizza at 12 AM after a night out . As someone who has had amazing pizza in NYC, this place just does not compare. I love me some thin crusted pizza and huge slices and Sliceworks's pictures on yelp is exactly what I was craving for on a cold winter night. Upon arriving, all of their pizzas are just sitting out there on display. When you pick the pizza slices you want, they heat it up in an oven before serving. I ordered the white pizza, the tomatoe basil pizza, and potato one. I also received a free garlic knots for checking in through yelp. The white pizza was probably my favorite out of the three, but the flavor didn't pack a punch. The other two were bland and it tasted like eating a thin crust with slightly salty cheese. They also got cold super fast, probably about after 10 minutes, the cheese hardened and the crust became too stiff to eat. Wasn't a fan, and maybe a different pizza place around the area would be worth looking into for fresher pizzas. read more

Well it was late at night and we were in need of a slice so we decided to check this place out. The staff was super friendly - gave us a sample as soon as we entered. The pizza was good - I would certainly be willing to try it again but at the same time nothing I can absolutely rave about. I had a slice of the tomato pesto and the white pizza. The slices are frickin huge! I thought I was going to burst after eating them and they both tasted good but do wish they were hotter.... they basically take the slices sitting there and throw in the fire for a min so they aren't super hot unfortunately... probably better if you are ordering a whole pie so it's made fresh though. I did enjoy the pizza and would certainly be willing to try again though. Update - came here again and yeah, really not great. It's mostly just bread and it's fricking cold for $6 a slice. I ordered at 5:10pm so that I would have dinner about 6pm. This is a restaurant that is literally 5 blocks from here but I am in a wheelchair and it snowed today so I can't get out. I am told that the order would be arriving between 6:00pm and 6:10pm. I got downstairs so the guard doesn't have to wait in case he is on his rounds. 6:15pm...6:30pm...7:00pm...I got back up to my apartment. There is only one buiding on the odd side of the street between 18 & 19 Streets. No one ever stopped or did anything!! I check and Jhon is my Dasher! A no show...so I tell them through their app since you don't get any immediate satification and I finally get resolution after 8:00pm! The resolution you might ask? Door Dash will give me my money back but it might take a few days. They won't charge me for the tip I left the driver or delivery fees or anything! They won't charge me? Can I charge them for my missed dinner? I will never use Door Dash again and will starve or go to the store to pick up what I need to make my own dinner! Slice Works uses Door Dash which is where I wanted dinner from. I have used Slice Works for many years but they are too cheap to hire delivery people. Okay..now I am too cheap to give them any of my future business...I'd rather go to Blackjack Pizza or Dominoes or Pizza Hut which I view them all as fake pizza! The Customer Service of this Century is non-existent and if you really want to speak English, forget about it! I will not be nice from now one since the millionaires get all the money and imigrants get the jobs for customer service and who cares if they can speak English! I see here my review is going to look "epic". I just want everyone to ignore Door Dash! They are useless! I didn't even get a credit for my problems and I still don't know what they found out! WOWerz. This pizza is actually hellla good. I love pizza when it has a good crunch to its crust. They stop delivering at 10/10:30pm, but they do doordash until 1:30am. I put in my order at 12am and got my pizza at 1. It took a while, and the dasher didn't go to the right hotel, but none the less, the pizza was still warm and delicious! The grandma slice was my favorite, but they all were good. Grandma slice - Thick square slice. It's an old fashioned brooklyn style square with a medium curst. The menu doesn't say what it's topped with, which it only came with sauce. The works - pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and mozzarella. Just the perfect balance of everything. Veggies, cheese and meats. I did think there was a bit much for peppers, but it sure did give it flavor. Pepperoni - Nothing out of the ordinary. They had a ton of choices and pulled the move where you pick your slice, and they throw it into the oven to heat it up which I am always a fan of. If you're looking for some great New York style pizza, this is your place! The thin crust has a great crunch to it and I was able to find one of my favorites- Buffalo chicken. The pizza came out smokin hot and really fast too. The inside is a tad small and all the tables were used except for one and it was dirty so I had to wipe it down myself. Stumbled in here after a night of drinking on my first day in denver; obviously being a New Yorker, after drinking, the only thing I want is pizzaaaaa. Got a regular cheese slice and a jalapeño popper slice. The slices weren't exactly nyc slice sizes...or shape... they felt like they came out of a 16" pie versus the 18" pies that we get slices from in nyc. First, the cheese slice. It wasn't bad, not nothing to write home about. It tasted exactly like the 99 cent slices from two bros. That's not a bad thing. It's just not exactly a solid nyc slice. But being born and raised nyc and having eaten some of the excellent regular cheese slices before they closed down over the years, I might also be a bit of a pizza snob, so ignore me. The jalapeño popper slice tho, I absolutely loved. Spicy kick was perfect, and that fat drizzle of jam? Made the sweet/salty/spicy combo a party in the mouth. Would definitely go back for the jalapeño popper pizza, and I see they have a green chili pizza too, would love to try that. At $5 for the jalapeño popper slice and $3.50 for the cheese slice tho, I have to say that's basically MANHATTAN prices here in denver- actually, it's more expensive than Manhattan - for $5, its usually a meat-based slice/ more toppings! Came here last night for the first time and only stopped because of the 4 star rating. Not worth the 4 stars to me we have definitely had better pizza it's small inside almost nowhere to sit and parking is terrible and not worth 26$ just to park. Pizza is the only thing available after 9. We got the bacon cheeseburger pizza, buffalo chicken and pepperoni. I didn't care for neither especially when it's just been sitting out. Ordered thru their very not user friendly website. We ordered a pizza, 2 deserts and a Diet Pepsi. We received the wrong pizza, 1 desert we didn't order and didn't get the 2 we paid for. The Pepsi was not diet might pay attention to that some people are diabetic.. when I called he would not let me speak to a manager and told me there was nothing they could do except call door dash. You put the wrong order together and we just threw 90$ (including tip) in the garbage because it's not what we ordered or wanted. It was only warm as it was delivered and between it being somewhat far away and the driver making other stops and stopping to get gas. So that is on the driver.
