Friendly and non-pretentious, pretty much the complete opposite of the vibe you usually get in this area of Denver. Staff was chill and welcoming and the overall experience was pretty good. The place itself is small but clean, with a couple TVs inside. The pizza was good and actually affordable compared to pretty much everything else nearby. Definitely worth seeking out if you don't want to wait in line during busy hours and pay outrageous prices for mediocre food in the area. The buffalo chicken slice was really good. The Big Mac slice was definitely unique, it actually tasted like a Big Mac, right down to the sesame seed crust. Both slices were a decent size and filled me up fast. Wanted to try a few more slices but I was too full by that point. A few small things could make the experience even better: having a menu with prices visible, maybe a 2 slice/ drink combo special and a few more Parmesan and Pepper shakers around. Overall though, I'd definitely go back.

We wanted some pizza at our hotel, and not many places were open, so we decided to get this place delivered. It was ok. The pizza wasnt bad. It wasn't the best, but it did the job. We ordered mozzarella sticks, but they were just the standard frozen cheese sticks. Absolutely no cheese pull, and the the marinara seemed like it was just store brand jarred sauce. The biggest disappointment was the wings. I ordered buffalo wings, but what I got was unseasoned, unsauced wings, with some watered down ranch. It was a pretty disappointing experience overall.

If your in the area and looking for some yummy big ol slices of pizza, look no further and come here! We were helped right away and the slices were heated up and given to us not long after we ordered. I ordered a buffalo chicken slice and it was delicious. The crust was crispy and hot. The slice was big and I still had enough to take back to the hotel. The workers were friendly and tables were clean.

Slices had a slightly crispy undercarriage with just a bit of char. Sauce was ok. Very bland crust though. Pepperoni Pizza (4/5): Solid. Big Mac Pizza (4/5): Really tasted like a Big Mac. The American cheese was a little overpowering though and there were way too many sesame seeds. RATING SYSTEM 5 - Great (Need to get this again) 4 - Good (Would get this again) 3 - Ok (Might give this another shot) 2 - Not Good (Won't get this again) 1 - Bad (Telling people to avoid this)

Pleasantly surprised with this place. I was reluctant initially because the pizza was going to be reheated instead of fresh but it still hit. I can only imagine what it taste like fresh but it we still good. Haven't had a good sized portion at this price. That alone was 5/5. Both pizzas were good. I could come here daily. Lots of options to try. Plenty of room inside to sit and enjoy. Very clean. Tv in the background. Staff very friendly.

We absolutely loved this place and are bummed they are only in Colorado! We loved every slice we got here and went back multiple times in our 4 day stay. They also sell beer. We tried the white pizza, big mac, loaded potato, vodka pizza and a sausage pizza. They were all cooked very well and very crispy. We thought they were better than most pizza we have had in New York! I guess we will be planning another trip to Denver!

Good pizza at a very reasonable price. Ordering is fast and easy and most of the sliced pizza is already made so they just take a little time to heat up. They have a very good selection of pizzas (both thin and stuffed), calzones, zombones. Great place to get some good pizza.

Absolutely loved my late night pizza experience here. They had many choices, even so late into the night, and the pies were still fresh. The service was fast and friendly, and they actually have a very nice seating area with lots of table space that is separated from the kitchen and gives a cozy feel while you enjoy your food. It was pretty consistent traffic even for the hour. I know this is the best late night pizza. I tried the vodka, cream sauce, pizza, and it was delightful, adding a little extra depth of flavor that the traditional cheese pizza doesn't quite achieve. I will definitely be back.

I was looking for a quick bite to eat and came across Sliceworks. Large selection of pizza slices and Stromboli at a decent price.

This place is an old school slice joint that you would find in NY. Great slices, quick, affordable, open late, and just a cozy spot. The stuffed slices are incredible and are like the old Sbarro stuffed pies but on steroids. If you love pizza, this is a great spot.

Was not expecting what i got when i walked in. I thought this would be another late night pizza place where they would have a couple of overly greasy slices. Not all! They actually had several flavors to chose from and not your average toppings either. Great taste & great price. Would recommend, especially for a late night snack. read more

Google told me this was the top result for pizza in Denver and while it was good, I'm not quite ready to say it's the creme de la creme. Like the pizzas are decently sized, everything is fresh. The staff was pretty nice, and generally super agreeable. I wasn't a fan of the dough though, I definitely would love for it to have been thicker. This pizza spot is in a pretty good location and was super convenient for my visits. It's not a must see but it's more than solid enough to get the job done read more

What an amazing find! We were strolling around downtown Denver and decided to stop at a local pizza place for a bite to eat. There were a ton of options available by the slice, from your standard plain cheese to local flair made with Denver green chili. This place always fixes my pizza cravings. New York style with great flavor and fantastic prices, prefect for all budgets and lifestyles! I would come here when I forgot my lunch at work or when we wanted to grab a bite while downtown. The employees are super friendly, you get a snack while waiting in line and you just can't go wrong with any order. If you are a frequent visitor then sign in each time for rewards! read more

I had a great experience at Sliceworks. The employees were very helpful with their suggestions. The pizza a la vodka was incredible and the portions were large and filling. Prices were very iTip: check in and you'll get 6 garlic knots. The garlic knots were great. read more

We went to a concert downtown and afterwards, we both were craving a slice of pizza so I did a quick Yelp search and landed at Sliceworks! The variety of slices they offer is pretty awesome.. definitely some unique toppings! We split a Big Mac and Green Chile slice and they were both delicious! I've never quite had a slice of pizza that resembled a Big Mac but dang, it was delicious! The hamburger, pickles and dressing on it were so good! For the Green Chile slice, you can really taste the green chile and it was great. The location is close to Union Station which is perfect to stop by at the end of your night in downtown. Big flavor, huge slices, cheap prices... what more do I need to say! read more

Holy Pizza! Had the white pizza and the buffalo chicken... both absolutely amazing. As someone from Houston visiting downtown Denver and looking for a great pizza joint, this is the spot. They sell their pizzas by the slice and they're all laid out for you d to see and the choices they have are superb and are the most unique I've seen. First time ordering from here we asked our concierge about take out she said a lot of people like slice works! it got there in a timely manner pizza was AMAZING! Fresh sauce fresh mozzarella fresh basil bread was perfect. (Margarita pizza)Bread knots were great and the fresh mozzarella and tomato with vinaigrette dish was outstanding. Sliceworks - look I will cut to the bottom line so you can get in your car right away and be that much closer to deliciousness. Order by the slice - like the slice as big as your head, and you should definitely get two pieces kind of slice! Load up on your favorite toppings (yes, this place has fresh garlic as a topping!) and get ready to eat! So many unique and awesome pizzas to choose from - this pizza will take you to flavortown! Go with friends and get a variety of different slices to try. Quick and easy, fast and hot, friendly and they hit the spot. read more

Very nice atmosphere right downtown. It has a spray painted wall that looks cool in pictures. The pizza was also really good! I got the green chili pizza and it was delicious. You won't regret going here!! Okay, let me rephrase, you won't regret going here after a few drinks. I think it's probably good pizza either way, but we always end up here after a night out around Coors field. The Neapolitan pizza is so so good and you must order the garlic knots with ranch because that's the best part!! read more

Probably my favorite pizza spot in Denver. They have really interesting pizzas as well as traditional pizzas and calzones. They sell by the slice or you can get a whole pie, and it's a great price point. Never had a pizza I didnt like. They used to offer you a free sample when you walked in but they don't anymore :( but overall, I highly recommend you check it out if you like a good pizza read more

There's nothing better than a place that is opened late and sells slices! Not just any slices either, these babies are amazing. I had the jalapeño popper with grape jelly, which sounded kind of nasty, but I love me some jalapeño poppers. The grape jelly was such a different, yet wonderful addition to the pizza. I was also able to get some free garlic bread rolls by checking in. I dipped those bad boys in my grape jelly and just like that, it became one of the best slices I have ever had. read more

Trying to find just regular, delicious late night pizza in downtown Denver was a challenge. Sliceworks was the closest thing that I could find based on pics and trek previews. And it did not disappoint. We got the works pizza and garlic knots. Delivery was timely and it was delicious!! Just what we wanted. read more

I got the stuffed meat pizza and the free yelp garlic knots... This was so good and filling I could only eat one knot. But the marinara I could literally eat it like soup. It was so good! And all for under $9 bucks. read more

2nd visit here at slice works. Great location, friendly staff, great food. Free garlic knots at check in with yelp. Garlic is very fresh.The buffalo chicken pizza is my absolute favorite. I could eat it every day. Five stars all the way. The vibe is nice and cozy.My boyfriend likes the green chili pepper pizza, also a good choice. Sliceworks is definitely a staple in downtown Denver. read more

Overall, I'm giving it 4 stars because the food was great, but the online ordering experience could definitely use some improvement.

The menu was recently refreshed and it shows. The mushroom paella was loaded and perfectly cooked, the burrata was a solid start, and the Turkish pizza with halloumi was a surprise standout. The poached cod was also great, especially the sauce. The drinks were just as strong. The L5 margarita with salt foam was really good, and even the frosé, which I usually skip, worked perfectly here. I just don't see how this place can get good reviews, but Denver being a sub-par food and pizza city I guess even the worst places can get raving reviews, especially if they are just one of the handful of places open past 10PM, which Sliceworks is. I will say it was one of the worst pizzas I had. The crust tasted like paper, the cheese tasted old and stale and the miniscule amount of toppings just didn't have much flavor. I am giving them two stars, because I did like that vegetable pie they have and if I ever go back here I may just go for that. However, the veggie pie they served me was cold and I had to use my imagination of what it would taste like if it was hot. I went during Saturday night at 10PM and the service was awful and they rushed you and made it so you had almost no time to think about your order as you cannot see what they even have until you go up to the counter. I probably won't go back to sliceworks unless I am desperate and will tell them I will give them an extra tip if they can actually heat my food up so it is hot and not cold. This place has the best wings hands down. I sincerely do not understand how their wings are so perfect. The buffalo pizza is a must as well. Although, I do feel that this place is family friendly there isn't many places to sit for large families so the restaurant gets crowded pretty fast but they do have a takeout option. The food here is amazing honestly so it's worth it to order and take the drive back home. The service is fast and the staff is polite and attentive. I have been here a couple of times now and this place is solid, and the people working here are on top of things. I have had the chicken roll, a NYC favorite, two slices of Sicilian, and a chicken parm hero. Everything has been good, I think the slices could have had a bit more sauce but the overall crisp was perfect. The chicken parm was also very good my one complaint is the bread though full of flavor from the sesame seeds is too soft and could be more firm. the chicken roll was as expected, will be going here as my go to. read more
