Skyroom is deff a must check out , it's one of the most eye pleasing aesthetic restaraunts you will experience . Probably the nicest one here in Long Beach . Service is fantastic and everyone is really attentive . The food is good too ! 10 out of 10 experience

We finally went to Skyroom for our anniversary, as it had been on our list for special occasion for a while. I made a reservation and asked for a nice table for the occasion. We got seated by the window and the view was really nice. The service was really nice, the waitress greeted us, asked about our special occasion and gave us a nice "gift" from the kitchen which was the tuna&caviar bites. We ordered crab cake, beef tartare, wagyu flat iron, liberty farms duck breast, and the tableside flambe banana foster. We also ordered 4 cocktails which I already forgot what we ordered. But they're all good as expected. The good: - the kitchen gifts for our anniversary were very much appreciated and very nice. They also gave us a free chocolate cake with a "happy anniversary" - The vibe and view was really romantic and great for the occasion. Although some people still wear super casual and wear shorts lol (it's Long Beach afterall) - my favorite plates were the steak and the crab cake. The banana foster was delicious too. The not so impressive: - duck breast was underwhelming and sort of dry. It's disappointing cos all other reviews were raving about it. - tartare, I definitely have had better ones Like I mentioned, everything was going really well and when the check came, the tip options were 20% at minimum, and we chose to tip 20% which I thought was normal. Well, pretty sure the waitress' face changed immediately and her attitude completely changed lol. It's very noticeable because she was super nice before. Maybe she expected us to tip 25%? Anyways, it's okay though, I still appreciate the great service although it definitely made it a little bit awkward after. Overall it's still a great dinner experience. Not sure I'd come back again, none of the dishes really made want to go again soon, if it makes sense. But if you never tried it, it's worth a visit.

Staying at this lovely hotel we decided to eat here as well. It's a gorgeous area; the dining room, the bar, the decor, the views. We sat at the bar since it was a bit packed. Just not for empty wallets for sure, one regular cocktail is 20+ dollars. Very expensive here. I believe if you're an AMEX platinum member it's more worth it. It was my boyfriend's birthday and they did say they do a dessert but didn't say it'd cost almost 20 dollars. The food was good but not 50 and 60 dollars good. Overall, it's a good restaurant for the status and ambiance.

Service here was amazing. The food was pretty good the chef sends small bites for you to try. When i tell you that service was great it was top notch service totally appreciate their hospitality. The sky room view was amazing. The food was good too. They even give a free bday treat for those celebrating.

Excellent tea time and we appreciated being able to try multiple types of teas. All of the savory bites were delicious! Chocolate croissants and scones + different jams were great, we only wished the scones were larger. Views and atmosphere were all fantastic, we'll be back.

Was a salmon tart... i had already eaten one.

Look, the decor was incredible, the ambiance amazing and the views spectacular. Also the service was too notch. Perfect. I will give it that and that is whats saving this review from 3 stars. For the money though...the food was alright. It was not bad but when you expect to spend $200-300 for a meal for 2 people, ($150 by myself and that's not counting alcohol) , i just expected the food to wow me. Instead, while the presentation was always beautiful...as to taste, I had one really good dish out of 4 I ordered, and the rest were ok. The foods not worth the money, but if you want a gorgeous special occasion date, this place is worth the money.

I had a b'ness dinner at Skyroom at the Fairmont Breakers Hotel in LBC. There were positives & negatives. Positives: Marissa was an awesome waitress. She was knowledgable about the menu, and a pleasure to deal with; The hostesses were super nice. They held my bottle of wine while I used the restroom, and had a drink at the bar; The duck was excellent. The skin was crispy, and the meat was nicely seasoned & juicy; Secondarily, the oysters were very good. The raw oysters were fresh, and the cooked oysters were nicely seasoned; Negatives: Jenna was a terrible bartender. She took forever to acknowledge me, and took forever to make our drinks after my friend arrived. She made drinks for others that ordered after us. The hostess had to check on us twice, and I said we'll be ready as soon as we get our drinks; I was charged $3.75 extra for ordering a drink at dinner "neat". The alcohol is measured, so how can I be receiving more alcohol if my drink is neat vs w/ ice or mixed? I have never seen such an upcharge, and I travel around the country and the world; All in all a positive experience. There are other bars on the property (like Alter Ego downstairs). Perhaps next time I will have a drink at AE first before dinner vs the bar in the restaurant.

Loved it, perfect for date night! Gorgeous decor, dimly lit, very nice new American decor. Our server was so fun to chat with and the Long Beach and San Fransisco night life. Liked my fish dish, wish I had gotten the duck (or taken more off of my boyfriend's plate), great wine selection, and the table side dessert was a great way to finish dinner before after dinner drinks.

I loved our evening at the Sky Room! When you get off the elevator, you are immediately greeted with a beautiful mini exhibit on the history of the hotel and the restaurant. I loved reading all about their past, and how they have honored the story of the restaurant in the newly renovated space. The restaurant itself is luxurious and moody. We were originally taken to a room in the back that was oddly plain, so I asked if we could have one of the empty booths in the main area, and our host let us snag that table instead. We were celebrating, so we went for the wagyu beef Wellington as well as the Parker house rolls and caesar salad. It was all incredible, definitely the best beef Wellington I've ever had. And the mashed potatoes!!! I must say, the rolls and cultured butter were great..... but when you are spending so much money no matter what you order, it felt a little silly to charge $6 for rolls. Just toss us a bone here! I promise everyone wants 'em! The service was pretty exceptional. I asked for black pepper on my mashed potatoes, and 20 minutes or so later, I served myself another scoop of potatoes from the family-style dish. Within 10 seconds, our server miraculously re-appeared with the pepper grinder to top my second portion. I was blown away by the attention to detail. We finished up with the bananas fosters to really get the full experience, and it did not disappoint! I think every meal should finish with a little flambé.

Shoutout to Amex FHR benefits for giving us the opportunity to dine-in at the Sky Room while staying at the Fairmont Breakers! There weren't any available walk-in tables but luckily, the bar is open seating and you can order off of the same menu. The dress code is elegant casual so guys just have to have a collared shirt and long pants. We ordered just enough to hit the $100 dining credit and that included the Parker House Rolls and Cultured Butter, Sky Room Caesar, and Wagyu Flat Iron. Overall, the food was surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant. The rolls came with two and were super soft and fluffy. The wagyu steak was very tender and well flavored. Definitely on the pricier end and we probably wouldn't have visited if it weren't for the FHR benefits but I can see it being a nice date spot or a place to celebrate life milestones.

This place was excellent. Located at the top of the Fairmont Breakers Hotel, the Sky Room is elegant and romantic with awesome views of Long Beach all around the restaurant. Even the customers were dressed to the nines, clearly understanding the assignment. We started with whiskey sours and old fashioneds both of which were delicious and strong. We also tried the crudités which consisted of seasonal root vegetables on ice and a green goddess dressing. It was weirdly beautiful and really good. For entrees we had the short rib with chimichurri which was sooooo good. It was tender and full of flavor. One of the best that I've had. As for dessert, we had tinted the banana foster which is prepared table side. It was so yummy, sweet, and caramelly. I was surprised with a very rich and chocolatey cake as a birthday treat. It was also very good but we were too full to finish it. I was really pleased with our dining experience here. I definitely recommended it and I would absolutely return.

What a great place to celebrate any occasion at Sky Room. Amazing atmosphere, great service, and fabulous food! We were celebrating birthday and we orders bunch of different plates to try out. For appetizers: Steak Tartare- great flavors. Broccoli - prepared to its perfection; nice crunch and good sauce. Cabbage - well cooked topped with bacon and excellent dressing. Crab cakes - can't describe.. it was excellent! Squash Risotto - for being a vegetarian dish it was amazing. Mushrooms on it were to die for. Beef Wilmington - this dish was made to its perfection. Gotta give it to the chef how well this is mastered! Absolutely loved this dish. Highly recommended. Over all, amazing experience and I will be coming back to try other dishes on their menu.

Ask the Community - Sky Room

Is there a corkage fee?

I was informed by a friend that dined there that it is $50.00 per bottle, with 2 bottles maximum allowed.

Is there anything done for dinners on special occasions? I have a Wedding Anniversary coming up and dinner reservations at your restaurant.. Thank you.

Yes, just call ahead. They had a dessert for my friend's bday.

Is the dance floor still around for dinner and dancing?

I didn't see a dance floor, but there is a rooftop and DJ and downstairs has a bar and sometimes a live band.

Is there a dress code? Are ties and jackets required?

Don't need a jacket and tie, but business casual is a smart choice.

Do they allow for walk in's for only drinks at the bar?

Yes, they do. Also, you might get a table if someone with a reservation doesn't show up.

Is there still dancing?

There isn't really room for that in the restaurant. There is a rooftop bar on the 14th floor, Halo, with music over speakers and lots of space in the outdoor patio section.

It's clear the owners put a lot of thought and creativity into making their cocktails the centerpiece of the experience. That said, the execution didn't live up to the concept. The menu appears to rotate regularly, and while the drinks were certainly unique, most of the cocktails we tried were hit or miss. At roughly $22 per drink, I expected more balance and refinement. One cocktail started with flavors reminiscent of an Old Fashioned, but after the initial sip, the combination of bitters and fruit syrups created an unpleasant cough syrup like finish. We tried a mocktail as well, and it was mostly ice and soda water, with what seemed like a collection of syrups doing most of the heavy lifting. The drinks were creative, but many of the flavor profiles felt disjointed rather than intentional. The biggest issue, however, was the bar service and sanitation practices. I watched a bartender place a cucumber garnish into a glass using his bare hands, touching the entire garnish in the process. He then continued to take credit cards, cash, and other items before stuffing ice into additional drinks with his bare hands. Whether or not this technically violates health code standards, it certainly wasn't appetizing to watch and left a poor impression. Parking is another challenge. There is no dedicated parking, and unless you get lucky, expect to park several blocks away and walk. Overall, the atmosphere is a lot of fun and the cocktail menu is ambitious, but the drinks didn't justify the price point, and the sanitation concerns were hard to overlook. I wouldn't rush back, especially given the cost and parking difficulties.

At 6pm on a Sunday evening, we were lucky to grab a spot in front. We sat at the bar which is just inside the entrance. The main room has various tables and chairs in the center, and Victorian style chairs and couches along the front and side walls. There's a small stage area in the back where they host a lot of events. There's also some outdoor patio seating and an event room upstairs. There were good mellow vibes on a non-event night, and there was good music playing. They also have some Halloween décor up. I started out with the Ooogie Boogie (Proper Twelve Apple Irish Whiskey, Manzanilla sherry, Mela apple liqueur, Luxardo del Santo, green apple juice, simple syrup, $15). This was absolutely delicious and not sweet at all. It has a few layers of crisp, slightly tart, apple flavor. You would never guess this is an Irish whiskey cocktail. She started out with the Deadly Nightshade (butterfly peaflower-infused Centanario Plata tequila, Tott's Champaigne, Crème de Violette, Van Gough Blueberry & Acai vodka, Salers gentian amaro, butterfly peaflower syrup, lime super-juice, $15). This drink is pretty large, is well balanced, and has some complexity. She loved it. We shared Jack, The Pumpkin King (400 Conejos mezcal, triplum, chipotle-pumpkin syrup, lime super-juice, $15). This was a solid mezcal margarita with a light pumpkin flavor and a hint of heat. The rim is a mix of cinnamon, turbinado sugar, and salt which was tasty. Bartender Zoe was awesome! She was so friendly, and we enjoyed discussing cocktails and various other topics with her. All three drinks were great, and a bargain at only $15. We will definitely return soon to try out some of their regular menu cocktails.

Folks should be aware this place is capable of treating you with disrespect in person, then when you mention the poor treatment in a TikTok comment, they'll respond without taking accountability and dismissing your experience. They will then ultimately block you - presumably because too many people liked your comment. You guys, that's embarrassing. You need to do better. My comment was completely respectful and an honest concern for how I was treated the one time I ventured in with a friend. Deleting feedback you don't like, customer concerns, and then further blocking those people (I hadn't written anything else. I only noticed because I clicked on the notification that someone liked my comment and saw I was now blocked) makes you look shady and guilty. I'm not a bot, and I explained a very real, possibly discriminatory experience at your bar. If anyone reading would like to know the experience: It was October 21, 2024. A Monday. I should've written this review then but I didn't have anything nice to say, and didn't want to trash this place when it seemed they were struggling due to what the bartender said. I was going through a really tough time, having just canceled my wedding about a month earlier. It was my first outing after a month+ of deep depression. My friend came to rescue me and take me out. I had been meaning to try this place since moving to Long Beach. It was fairly early in the evening, probably around 8pm or so and it was pretty slow. There was music and two couples dancing. We grabbed a table and I went to the bar to get us drinks. As I stood at the bar, some guys had come up alongside me to wait as well. The bartender looked over me and promptly took their orders. I barely had any emotion left in me at the time so I didn't care, and just waited to be next. However, I waited. And waited. And waited. The bartender seemed to be intentionally ignoring me (now the only person standing at the bar). I watched him busy himself with other drinks for the tables, for the guys, and continue to ignore me. Time ticked by and I started to wonder if I was doing something wrong. My friend kept looking over at me from the table like what is taking so long? Minutes and minutes passed as I stood there awkwardly, being blatantly ignored. After a long stretch of time, the bartender quickly said something in my direction like, "If you want to order you're going to have to go to the other end of the bar." I said, "Oh ok thank you." And walked to the other end of the bar. From this point, I was ignored and talked about (full male bar staff) without being looked at. They rudely discussed in front of me how I was standing there, and how each one of them wasn't going to take my order. It had been over a half hour at this point, and I was the only one who had been standing at the bar. It was a slow Monday night. Because I was a broken hearted loser at the time, I started to tear up. Why was I being treated like this? Am I not someone they want in their bar? Is this place not queer or woman friendly?? Why is every other person getting served, while I am blatantly dismissed? After almost 40 minutes, the bartender on that end told me he wasn't going to take my order, and I'd have to go back to the other side again. I quietly walked back over to the other side, feeling so embarrassed and just wanting to leave. It was ridiculously clear I wasn't welcome here, though I had no idea why. I remained standing there for maybe another 10 minutes. The original guy finally relented and begrudgingly took my drink order. He was standoffish at first, until he realized I wasn't upset about any of it. He started to apologize, saying he was brand new, and told me some of the staffing issues they had had that night. He seemed stressed. He recognized he had served the guys before me, and I had been ignored for way too long. He apologized again, and poured us an extra shot in our drinks to make up for the poor treatment. The drinks honestly were terrible lol, but I can only complain about so much. Plus he gave us double the alcohol, so I guess I was grateful. We left immediately after and went somewhere else. I haven't been back since. I wish I could share screenshots of my TikTok comment with the owner's dismissive reply, so you could see for yourselves whether you think that deserved being blocked. She even liked one of my reels from my page? Very odd. People are going to share the truth about their experiences at your establishment, and for you to deny that and block them is wild. You could've responded in a very different way, but you chose to be defensive and shady. That's on you.

What made the experience more uncomfortable was that the bartender seemed to be giving most of his attention to the Caucasian customers on the other side of the bar. We were the only Asian customers there, and unfortunately, this left us feeling like we were being treated differently because of our race. The good food and drinks helped compensate for the poor service, so we decided not to let it ruin our evening. However, things got even more disappointing at the end. After I paid, I noticed that I had been charged for the crispy rice even though we never received it. When our server tried to address the issue, the bartender appeared to ignore both her and us, so we eventually left. I hope management sees this review and reaches out to me to address the overcharge and the overall experience. Well, let's fix that finally. So first off, service, I'd say definitely can vary based on how busy they are. When it's slow, service is super fast. When it's packed to capacity, which it *absolutely* can be at times, it can be a lot slower, not to mention way louder. I won't fault them too much for that though, since I'd rather be there earlier in the day when it usually isn't too busy, anyway. Bar-wise, I won't mention each drink individually, since they change the drinks up periodically, and they've all been solid. I'm sad that $14-16 per cocktail is pretty much industry standard now, but that is, unfortunately, an entirely reasonable price at this point, if your cocktails are interesting and well balanced, which theirs all have been. Baby Gee still has the *most* interesting cocktails, but then, none of Baby Gee's cocktails are $14, which several of the best ones here, are. (I mention in that I think this is currently my third favorite cocktail bar in Long Beach, with Baby Gee at #1, cocktail-wise.) I will mention, specifically, that they have one great thing Baby Gee doesn't, cocktail-wise, coming in at $14, two slushy machines - for a long time, they've been a pina colada and a strawberry daiquiri, or for the same price, both mixed together (you want to do that). They also have a weekday happy until 6, in which, notably, the three core cocktails they keep on draft, are only $10. All three are quite good. (They also do $6 house old fashioneds all day Wednesday, also solid, if not as interesting.) They've also got a solid selection of interesting bottles of all sorts, many quite reasonably priced, and when they *aren't* too busy, they're always happy to experiment with me on new drinks with them. They do also always have a solid, if small, selection of craft beer. Finally, one of my favorite things here: $4 mystery shots, various constantly-rotating bottles, many presumably having been given to them by reps as sample bottles, though occasionally they've been leftover prebatch remnants from old cocktails, or other odds and ends. I don't *shoot* them, but that's a strong draw pulling me in here often - it's always been fun guessing blind what I'm sipping (you can ask them what it is, *after* you drink it.) Sometimes they only have one bottle, often they have 4+, and they can be basically *anything*. It is *also* a great way to get tipsier slightly faster for a lot less money, too, of course, if you aren't picky. Food menu wise, they definitely beat the pants off Baby Gee, though. I've tried most of the food menu at this point (I miss working for a boss who liked to invite the team here for team building and then order us like half the menu at a time...) The main draw for me personally is their shumai, though enough one of handful of things they don't make in-house (they buy them frozen from some place in LA, I think), but they're *really* good shumai. (I'm picky - shumai meat is often kinda gristly, which theirs never are, and with the perfect dumpling noodle.) The har gow from the same source is also great (though the shumai is my favorite), and both are also a dollar off during the weekday happy hour. Not on happy hour, but still very reasonably priced for dim sum (from the same source), I can also strongly recommend the soup dumplings, both the pork and vegetarian bao, the sesame balls, and the radish cake. And make sure to get their chili oil if you like spicy (they're supposed to charge 50 cents per container, though they often don't. But it's totally worth 50 cents a container.) They also have great skewers - I've tried the mushroom (wonderful), and the chicken thigh skewers (Homareya's are the best, but these are also great.) Their mushroom salad is excellent (it's just a mix of a bunch of Asian mushrooms, perfectly spiced, so I would get that and an order or two of shumai to go with it), the egg rolls are great, and while the bowl of noodle soup is technically definitely worth being $16, it's also $10 on Wednesday, so I'd recommend going there on Wednesday if you want to try the noodle soup (it is very good. $10 is a steal.) The fries, onion rings, popcorn chicken and fried rice are also... exactly what you'd expect from those things (I never order them because there's nothing exciting about any of them other than getting to dunk them in great chili oil, they were always ordered by my ex-boss for the table, but I figured I should mention them in the interest of completeness.) The only food item I've ever *not* been impressed by was their spring rolls, which the most recent time I ordered them, contained a "pickle" that appeared to be entirely un-pickled, and was way overstuffed with grocery store quality lettuce. (Though ymmv; a few months earlier I had their spring rolls and said they were great.) Anyway: highly recommended.

We ended up sitting in the "Hand Laundry" room instead. Our drinks were okay, we ordered the jasmine milk tea coma and I forgot what mine was. They were really strong, can't say we tasted much of the flavor of the cocktails but at least I was buzzed lol. We ordered the Taiwanese popcorn chicken and honestly it was not very good. The pieces were dry and hard. As for service, our table host was nice and seating was fast since we came when it wasn't crowded. Didn't have the best experience with the bartender though. Maybe she was stressed since she may have been the only one working in that room. When I came up to ask for the bill and while we were paying, she seemed irritated. Overall, I like the theme and the concept. Can't say much for the food. Drinks were okay. Maybe it would have been more fun to sit in the other rooms but I'm not sure if I'll come again sometime soon.

My friend's lychee negroni was very interesting, had a sweet start with a crazy punch of an aftertaste. All the appys were tasty! My friends' favorite is the 5 sauce fries. My personal faves were the shu mai and popcorn chicken. We also got har gao and both pan-fried and steamed pork dumplings. It's a super small space (very intimate and cozy) so definitely make reservations ahead of time. We showed up very late our resy but thankfully our table was still available when we got there! I tried reaching them over the phone multiple times to let them know we would be late but it's impossible to reach them, so that's the only thing I would suggest for improvement. There's also a tiki bar (called Lagoon) within Midnight Oil that I want to check out next time.

We stopped by late Saturday night and were able to snag an immediate walk-in at the bar at Hao Peng You, which is the intimate speakeasy portion of Midnight Oil. The decor definitely reminded me of my grandparents' house in Taiwan, with vintage, ornate wooden chairs, dragon/lion statue carvings, and even a historic century old marital bed that had been repurposed into a booth. The drinks were also VERY unique, with my favorite being Hua sheng (literally meaning peanut), which was crafted from a nostalgic childhood peanut milk drink. All our cocktails were crafted very well, to the point where I thought they were a bit on the lighter side since I couldn't really taste the alcohol. This section does get really busy though and only had one bartender who is making/serving drinks and taking orders, so do expect a bit of a wait. Overall, highly recommend checking out this vibey vintage Taiwanese-inspired speakeasy (that my inner history nerd was so excited about), and I'll definitely be back to try their food items as well as their two other bar/restaurant concepts!

The restaurant was spotless, beautifully lit, and had very clean restrooms. One of the sweetest touches was that they personalized a menu with my friend's name on it, which made her birthday dinner feel extra special! The drinks were delicious, and the food was just as impressive. We ordered the ceviche, sope de costillas, and the trio tacos, followed by pan del eleto for dessert. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted great! A special shout-out to our server, Edgar, who was absolutely the best! He was attentive without being intrusive and did an excellent job pacing each course so we could truly enjoy every plate. He consistently kept our table clean and made sure our plates and utensils were changed out throughout the meal. His attention to detail and thoughtful service really elevated the entire experience. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely come back! Highly recommend!

It's a IYKYK kind of place here. We didn't know about it as we were here meeting some friends for…read moredrinks. They made all the reservations. Honestly thought it was the bar that we came inside. First impression, why did we need reservations.... Since we didn't know the hidden entrance. Well, it's a cool concept once we entered. There's a dress code so be advised. What I found out was the entrance of the speakeasy was through a phone booth that next to the pool table of Roxanne's bar. Once reservations is made, you'll received an email with a password to enter. Enter phone booth and to connect to the inside and they'll open the door for you. We had the first reservations I believe they opened at 7pm. We were the first group to arrive. As it was my first time, we had ordered bar food and were waiting for it inside the main bar. So half an hour was used from our time limit. The speakeasy, dark and moody but perfect for the place. Special crafted cocktails by the bartenders which were great. They also have food as well, found out later. We did try the meat pie, which it was just ok. Basically an empanadas, the pickle veggies accompanied it was my favorite. It was good but nothing major to rave about. The drinks were quite nice and tasty. What they offered on the menu did have a load of good choices. Tables scattered throughout as well as bar seating. There's a piano which maybe used for live music. Overall, the moody speakeasy vibe was great. Friendly staff and bartender made some great drinks. What we had to snack on, the meat pie was just ok. They're very strict with the time limits. Once it's reached they'll let you know.

So this is a review that's been a *long* time coming (I've just been chronically overwhelmed for an…read moreequally long time.) I haven't been here often, but I *was* here right around when they opened, wherein I determined that the food ranged from quality but a bit overpriced, to just overpriced, a feeling I would still hold, generally speaking. Great vibe, solid service, but maybe a little pretentiously priced (and/or it's just stupid expensive to run a restaurant in this area, granted.) And with *super* pretentiously-priced cocktails, for how relatively simple they mostly are (if I'm gonna spend $18+ plus tip on a drink, I expect Baby Gee-level cocktails.) They also had an impressive wall of craft beer on tap, but also a bit pricey, especially compared to places not on 2nd street, so there was never a particular *draw*. But then I never actually finished reviewing it, because I'm super behind. Anyway, then also not particularly recently, they launched a happy hour, which at the time, especially for this particular part of Long Beach, was pretty stupidly good, with $5 decent sized smashburgers (6 with cheese, 10 with cheese and also fries), as well as $5 craft beer, pretty much all of them, including the fancy, exciting stuff (exciting if you're a nerd like me, the barrel aged stuff, for instance). They also had one specific half hour at the time, which I'd like to immortalize as a super fun idea, where one specific cheap but craft beer was some stupid price, I think like a dollar, but since they had a whole wall of rotating craft beer, a *different* specific cheap craft beer any given day. That's not relevant at all to my current review, but it was fun. Anyway, I still didn't write a review like a year ago when I took advantage of that happy hour, though I did take advantage of it a solid couple of times. Skip forward again to just a few weeks ago, I happened to be attending an event in the general area again, an event that was going to involve more alcohol than food and for which having a happy-hour-timed dinner in the area was going to be useful, so I figured I'd check out whether the happy hour was still there, and it was. At least as of a few weeks ago, the happy hour (3-6 weekdays) was still a thing, and it had gone up a whopping 55 cents per item. Ends up being effectively ~$17 plus tip for a quality smashburger, quality fries and a craft beer, though they didn't have as *many* of the fancy (barrel-aged or equivalent) stuff as they had the first time, they did still have some, and it was still $5.55 for any beer on draft they had. So happy hour wise, that's a pretty good price for this part of the country, I'd say. Obviously only since the burgers and fries *are* also absolutely quality burgers and fries. Not quite as wonderful as my gold standard smashburger at The Stache, perhaps, but still a great smashburger. My opinion on spending almost 20 bucks for what is effectively still just an old fashioned, hasn't changed, though. :p
