Situated at the top of Parker's Lighthouse, this restaurant has beautiful views of Long Beach Harbor. My wife and I came here for our 20th anniversary dinner, and it was an excellent choice. The setting felt upscale without being overly formal, and the service was impeccable from beginning to end. There was also a live guitarist playing during dinner, which added to the atmosphere. We started with the wedge salad, which was excellent, and the lobster bisque. We shared the tomahawk ribeye with corn and au gratin potatoes, and everything was outstanding. For dessert, we had the pluot bake, which was also incredible. Great food, excellent service, and a beautiful setting. It made for a memorable anniversary dinner. Came here for my Birthday and made a reservation for a big group. They accommodated us so well and made the seating arrangement open and accessible to both the views and comfort. This reservation was made unknowingly during a time a huge rave event was going on and despite the parking and timely challenges for all our guests (including me), staff were so impressively understanding, polite, kind, friendly, respectful and patient with us! Our waitress Laura was amazing and so attentive. This was the overall highlight of the dinner. Food was served quick and was delicious. Definitely as advertised and quality food as expected for a steakhouse. We had our own cake which they happily stored in the fridge for us, allowed it and even lit it at the end of dinner. Prices are on the high end with food and drinks, so be prepared to spend $$$$/$$$$$. My only suggestion would probably be to separate a bar/ drink tab if in a large group. It was hard to know who ordered what at the end of the night when receiving the check and it was huge section of the bill. Overall, ambiance was great with a live jazz band who was amazing, views were 360, and experience was well worth it. I made reservations here via OpenTable and because my husband and I just eloped we wanted to celebrate our wedding dinner here. I requested a view of the Queen Mary. Although we had a window view, we weren't quite facing the ship. We were facing more towards the lighthouse. And I was kind of disappointed. But because it was a weekday and the tables by the window left early, our server let me get some pictures of the view of the ship. We were seated right away. We already knew what we wanted to order. I noticed they had zero proof alcohol and I was excited about that. I ordered a cucumber crush. It tasted more minty than cucumbery to me. We then started off with bread in the house then ordered 1/2 dozen oysters. Mmm the oysters we so delicious. It came with a side of horseradish, cocktail sauce, and vinegar. Our server, JJ, recommended the prime beef carpaccio. My husband isn't a fan of raw meat, but when he tried this with all the side toppings of the mustard-yuzu aioli, crispy shallots, capers, and maitake mushrooms on top of a cheese toast, he loved it. The capers and crispy shallots and toast give this dish texture and brings out the flavor of the beef carpaccio. My husband and I got the surf n turf. He ordered the 30 day dry-aged bone in ribeye and I got the 6 oz lobster tail with a side of Brussels sprouts. My husband got his ribeye medium rare. He said it was delicious. It cut so smooth and easy, like butter and was well seasoned. The lobster seemed a little too fine for me, but it was delicious with the butter and lemon provided. First time here and in LOVE! Happily it was a quiet Sunday night so the restaurant was relaxed. It is stunning, the third floor of the lighthouse is beautiful with amazing views and ambiance. If I could give more stars to a dining experience I would! We went to Queensview to celebrate a joint anniversary with our friends and were treated like royalty! (Fitting, with the name!) Parking is a breeze with a large paid lot, and they also validate parking. The venue is gorgeous and sprawling over three floors, with the steakhouse on the top floor. When we were seated (at our gorgeous table overlooking the Queen Mary!) we we delivered a card wishing us a happy anniversary signed by the staff. Our amazing server, Kaylee, came over immediately and greeted us and told us about the menu and walked us through everything. The manger brought us over the beef carpaccio appetizer and it was phenomenal-one of the best I've had in Long Beach. And if you are a bread-seeker like myself you will be pleased here as they offer sourdough and wheat rolls with TWO types of crave-worthy butter; honey and pecan, and it's amazing! Our drinks were served promptly and were perfection. We started with some yummy oysters and then I ordered the twin lobster tails and everyone else opted for steaks. They were all cooked perfectly and the manager and server checked on us to ensure our satisfaction. The sides here are great and large enough to share with a group. You can't skip the gratin potatoes! We also ordered the mushrooms and creamed corn and everything was amazing. There was also a live piano player in this gorgeous establishment who takes requests! The view is amazing. You have the docks, the village, the Queen Mary. It's just an overall nice atmosphere. One downside was that it was raining and water started coming down from the ceiling and splashed all over me and the table. They moved us to another table and eventually removed the one where we were originally seated, but I didn't like how there was no compensation for that experience. Our dinner was $400 pre-tip. The least they could have done was comped a dessert or a glass of wine. We shared the prime porterhouse for two with the mushrooms and scalloped potatoes. The sides were great, and the steak was flavorful, but it was more medium than medium rare, which is what we requested. The crab cake appetizer was wonderful, as was the bottle of the red blend we had, the old fashioned, and the butter cake. It's super pricey but I think it was worth it for the one time. I would definitely go back with family or another special occasion. The parking lot at Shoreline Village gets super packed and it took us forever to park. You can get your ticket validated for a discount at whichever restaurant you visit. When we got to Queensview, if I'm not mistaken the first floor is Parker's Lighthouse, their sister restaurant that isn't as pricey? Then you take an elevator to Queensview! Super fortunate to have a front row seat to the harbor and the ocean view. Choosing a steak was the hardest part, it was between the filet mignon and Prime New York Steak. But I had to go with the filet mignon and it was so good. It actually wasn't cooked to perfection because it was very rare when I ordered medium but our waiter did a great job fixing it. I got this with fries on the side instead of mashed potatoes. My girlfriend got the Au Poivre Prime New York Steak and loved it. She loved the crispiness and the pepper seasoning. I tried it and loved it too. The best part was the Cognac cream sauce, had the consistency of a gravy and was so addicting to use on my fries and steak. I would recommend someone to get this sauce easily. On the side we also split the caesar salad without anchovies. It was a great touch and I would order this again to start out our meal. Went here again and this place has turned into our traditional anniversary go to spot our second year in a row coming to celebrate. And it was just as good as it was last year we even had JJ the same server we had last year. The food was amazing as usual had the porter house steak for two with asparagus and mashed potatoes. There was opportunities for us to have the window table and we would have waited if the option would have been offered to us. The steak was delicious. The asparagus, and mashed potatoes were also very tasty. The one thing I would not recommend to order is the macaroni and cheese. It was the driest, macaroni and cheese I have ever had (see photo). We pared out steamed with a nice bottle of wine. They have a great selection of wines to choose from. There was a small band playing so we got to enjoy some nice dinner tunes while we were seated. There was a small mix-up with our reservation at first (we had requested a window view), but the team fixed it immediately. The managers stepped in right away, introduced themselves, and made sure everything was taken care of. That alone set the tone for the rest of the night. We ended up getting the perfect window table, and the view was incredible... overlooking the water and the Queen Mary. We arrived in the early evening after sunset, so there was still a bit of light out before everything transitioned into night, which made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, and not overly crowded, which made it feel even more relaxed and enjoyable. The food was just as impressive. The clam chowder was piping hot and, according to my mom, the best she's ever had. I ordered the 30-day aged ribeye, and it was easily one of the best ribeyes I've had... perfectly cooked rare with a great smoky flavor that wasn't overpowering. The crab cakes had real chunks of crab (not filler), and the lobster mac and cheese was rich and perfectly done. Everything came out exactly as it should. What really stood out to me was the service across the entire restaurant... not just our table. From the moment we walked in, the staff on every level were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Even team members who weren't directly assigned to us would stop by to check in or make sure we were taken care of. That level of consistency is rare and made the whole experience feel elevated. Special thank you to Gregory (manager), Alex (our server), and one of the female managers (whose name I unfortunately forgot) for going above and beyond. The manager made his rounds and they really try to make you feel a part of something. Parts of the building do look outdated or neglected. She was abrasive, slightly aggressive, snobby, and quite literally took the menu out of my hands while my bf and I were just admiring the scenic view and talking. I tried to be nice and friendly but she was not having it. She had a very condescending attitude the entire time and it truly felt like she didn't want us there, for whatever reason. Overall, it was a nice light meal that reminded us of charcuterie but missing the jam. We did think the gruyere was a little overpowering. Too much cheese for us. My partner was satisfied with his craft draft, the German style amber. I found my lavender cucumber gin and tonic to be too plant tasting. Struggled to drink it but when its $18, ya got to. I should have gone with something sweeter but nothing stuck out. Overall, this spot nails it when it comes to the view and the service. We did feel a bit stuffy. The heat really does rise (especially when you're on the 3rd floor) and there was no AC, at least not running. I am so happy that we came here to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant is beautiful with three different floors overlooking the water and a great view of the Queen Mary. As we arrived early for our reservation, we were sat in no time with our waiter, Craig, who took amazing care of us. We also met the owner of the establishment, Gregory, who was very kind. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hostess and every member of the waitstaff that greeted us was kind and attentive, and we were seated for our reservation quickly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed the live piano music that they had playing throughout the evening. We received prompt attention and our drinks were served quickly and well made. I admit I was initially a bit disappointed that my request for a window seat was not accommodated, but that was remedied quickly after we received our first appetizer by the manager Gregory; he indicated that a window seat had opened up and came over to offer it to us and get our dining experience relocated - great attention to detail and a wonderful dedication to customer service. When we received our meal it was excellent - the steak filet Mignon my girlfriend ordered was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were delicious, and our brussel sprout side was seasoned perfectly. My lamb course was also prepared expertly and were savory and juicy. Everything including our appetizer was consistently well made, plated well, and delicious. An experience for the senses! I also want to specifically call out our waiter Newman; he was kind and attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. He offered delicious pairing and dessert suggestions and made sure to keep our drinks fresh and topped off. He even took care to sweep the crumbs off of our tablecloth between courses. Very appreciative of his hospitality and top notch service. Overall; it was a wonderful experience and well worth the money spent.
