    A view from our table

We came here for my son-in-law's birthday. We ordered lobster and steak, filet mignon, 2 salmon. NY steak and lobster pappardelle, Brussels sprouts, mashed potato, fries, spicy hot halibut roll and butter cake. Everything tasted good. Steak and salmon perfectly cooked. Service is good. Everybody is attentive to your needs. Good view.

    The night view, spectacular

So first time here, very nice place. The food was very good. I will say I asked for the steak medium it arrived medium rare. So couldn't finish the steak it was grossing me out. Besides that everything else was awesome. The view, the music, the whole atmosphere was great. I will say the AC must not have been working that day cause it was hot up there.

First time here and in LOVE! Happily it was a quiet Sunday night so the restaurant was relaxed. It is stunning, the third floor of the lighthouse is beautiful with amazing views and ambiance. There was a piano player who took our request for Tiny Dancer too! :) Now, the food was excellent. Literally I have no notes! The service was out of this world! We saw the manager a few times and were served complimentary champagne, beef carpaccio and fried asparagus. Additionally our server, Kaylee was top notch and oh so sweet! I can't wait to have an occasion to come back!

Food: 1/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 We had the chance to try the Mother's Day brunch. With choices of a main entree and seafood buffet. We had high hopes but left very disappointed. Something this restaurant does know is Salt! Heavy salt on crab legs, steak, Benedict. Second was wait time, for a filet that was overcooked and over salted. It took close to an hour from a somewhat of a prefix menu. Best thing I had was potatos and DIY Bloody Mary bar. Server was very nice and location was great. Food was a disaster

Steakhouse located in an old lighthouse in downtown Long Beach. The first two floors are a casual restaurant, but the steakhouse is located on the top floor. The views are absolutely beautiful. The views are of downtown, the harbor, and even the historic Queen Mary ship. I came here for my spouse's 50th birthday. We had a beautiful table and even a signed card from the waitstaff. I started with the wedge salad, which was delicious. For my meal I had the surf and turf sushi roll. The sushi was very good and filling. My spouse had the steak topped with crab meat. He also ordered the onion ring tower, which she could not finish, but said it was really good. There was live music playing, which was a nice touch. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating.

Great place to celebrate our one year anniversary!

If I could give more stars to a dining experience I would! We went to Queensview to celebrate a joint anniversary with our friends and were treated like royalty! (Fitting, with the name!) Parking is a breeze with a large paid lot, and they also validate parking. The venue is gorgeous and sprawling over three floors, with the steakhouse on the top floor. When we were seated (at our gorgeous table overlooking the Queen Mary!) we we delivered a card wishing us a happy anniversary signed by the staff. Our amazing server, Kaylee, came over immediately and greeted us and told us about the menu and walked us through everything. The manger brought us over the beef carpaccio appetizer and it was phenomenal-one of the best I've had in Long Beach. And if you are a bread-seeker like myself you will be pleased here as they offer sourdough and wheat rolls with TWO types of crave-worthy butter; honey and pecan, and it's amazing! Our drinks were served promptly and were perfection. We started with some yummy oysters and then I ordered the twin lobster tails and everyone else opted for steaks. They were all cooked perfectly and the manager and server checked on us to ensure our satisfaction. The sides here are great and large enough to share with a group. You can't skip the gratin potatoes! We also ordered the mushrooms and creamed corn and everything was amazing. There was also a live piano player in this gorgeous establishment who takes requests! I can't say enough about how highly i recommend this place! It's perfect for a special occasion or a romantic date night. Parker's lighthouse is the seafood restaurant downstairs that is a bit less fancy and has outdoor seating and offers great happy hour specials (I love their sushi!) The bathrooms are located on the second floor and are pristine and well-stocked. After you finish your meal make sure to snap some beautiful pics of the Queen Mary and take a stroll around Shoreline Village. Love this place!

The view is amazing. You have the docks, the village, the Queen Mary. It's just an overall nice atmosphere. One downside was that it was raining and water started coming down from the ceiling and splashed all over me and the table. They moved us to another table and eventually removed the one where we were originally seated, but I didn't like how there was no compensation for that experience. Our dinner was $400 pre-tip. The least they could have done was comped a dessert or a glass of wine. We shared the prime porterhouse for two with the mushrooms and scalloped potatoes. The sides were great, and the steak was flavorful, but it was more medium than medium rare, which is what we requested. The crab cake appetizer was wonderful, as was the bottle of the red blend we had, the old fashioned, and the butter cake. Besides the cook on the meat (which is kind of a big deal), the rest of the meal was delicious.

The food! Steak is the best!

What a beautiful place and immaculate service. The manager and staff did such a great job on making every guest feel so special. If you are thinking of celebrating a special occasion, this is the place. The food is delicious. My friend went here twice in one week. We got the special (Steak and prawns) and split it between 4 adults. Good value and the best steak I had in a really long time.

Had an amazing birthday experience here earlier this year! This has been a long waited review and I absolutely loved Queensview Steakhouse. It's super pricey but I think it was worth it for the one time. I would definitely go back with family or another special occasion. The parking lot at Shoreline Village gets super packed and it took us forever to park. You can get your ticket validated for a discount at whichever restaurant you visit. When we got to Queensview, if I'm not mistaken the first floor is Parker's Lighthouse, their sister restaurant that isn't as pricey? Then you take an elevator to Queensview! Super fortunate to have a front row seat to the harbor and the ocean view. Choosing a steak was the hardest part, it was between the filet mignon and Prime New York Steak. But I had to go with the filet mignon and it was so good. It actually wasn't cooked to perfection because it was very rare when I ordered medium but our waiter did a great job fixing it. I got this with fries on the side instead of mashed potatoes. My girlfriend got the Au Poivre Prime New York Steak and loved it. She loved the crispiness and the pepper seasoning. I tried it and loved it too. The best part was the Cognac cream sauce, had the consistency of a gravy and was so addicting to use on my fries and steak. I would recommend someone to get this sauce easily. On the side we also split the caesar salad without anchovies. It was a great touch and I would order this again to start out our meal. Wish I remembered our servers name but he was just awesome, really made my birthday special, thanks Queensview.

Went here again and this place has turned into our traditional anniversary go to spot our second year in a row coming to celebrate. And it was just as good as it was last year we even had JJ the same server we had last year. The food was amazing as usual had the porter house steak for two with asparagus and mashed potatoes. We had the bacon wrapped dates by recommendation by our server Jj and the did not disappoint. We also shared a Cesar salad and had a butter cake to close it out. The ambiance was perfect during golden hour with the accompaniment of a live jazz style band. This place has hit it out of the park yet again and can't wait to be back again next year to celebrate.

    Sharon H.

Waiter: Craig Y. - very nice. Food: Miso glazed Chilean Seabass was so delish!!! Drink: Bartenura Moscato Ambiance: like any steakhouse... dim. But lighting on table was good. Live instrumental band was good. Loud enough but Not terribly loud in here... if that makes any sense...

    Alex H.

Who knew that Parker's lighthouse actually had another restaurant inside of it? It's at the top and it's even more awesome It's thee perfect date place or special occasion especially at night Had a delicious steak and a wonderful view of the queen mary It's excellent service and food

My husband made a reservation for our anniversary. It was a nice place. He requested a window table, but we were seated in the middle of the room. There was opportunities for us to have the window table and we would have waited if the option would have been offered to us. The steak was delicious. The asparagus, and mashed potatoes were also very tasty. The one thing I would not recommend to order is the macaroni and cheese. It was the driest, macaroni and cheese I have ever had (see photo). We pared out steamed with a nice bottle of wine. They have a great selection of wines to choose from. Overall 4/5 stars because the macaroni and cheese was terrible and the seating requested was not honored.

From the service, to the food, to the ambiance, it's all so amazing. We ordered the mac and cheese, ribeye, filet mignon, souffle, and got the creme brûlée for his birthday on the house. Every single thing we got was literally amazing and seasoned so well. We typically have to add salt to our steaks whenever going to a steak house, but not at 555. It was seasoned SO PERFECTLY. It was even cooked perfectly too. Writing this review is making my mouth water just thinking about it. It is a steakhouse, so you're looking at your normal steakhouse prices. I made our reservation weeks in advance as a Father's Day surprise for my husband but from the moment we arrived, everything went downhill. Our waiter was unprofessional throughout the entire experience. The first thing he did was insist on giving us a handshake. It wasn't a normal handshake it was extremely firm and uncomfortable to the point that my hand actually hurt afterward. It also felt inappropriate considering we were about to have dinner. As soon as he walked away, my husband looked at me and asked, "Did he squeeze your hand too?" I said yes because he had done the exact same thing to both of us. It immediately created an awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere. When we ordered our appetizers, we asked if our crab cakes could be prepared the way we've always ordered them during previous visits. His immediate response was, "Not today." He gave us a lengthy explanation about how they were too busy because it was Saturday. However, we've dined here many Saturdays before and have never had an issue. Eventually, he agreed to accommodate the request, but by then the interaction had already left a bad impression. His overall attitude and demeanor made us feel as though we were an inconvenience. He came across as rushed, dismissive, and almost as if he felt he was above us. We felt pressured to order before we were ready. When we asked for a little more time to decide on our entrees, he seemed irritated. Later, when we decided to order another item, he again gave us a hard time. At that point, we simply told him, "Never mind. We'll just stick with the appetizers." The entire experience was uncomfortable, and the negative energy completely overshadowed what was supposed to be a special Father's Day celebration. I spoke with the manager and explained everything that had happened. While he apologized, I left feeling as though my concerns were being dismissed rather than genuinely addressed. At that point, we decided to leave because Father's Day was already being ruined, and we didn't want to spend the rest of the evening feeling uncomfortable. Thankfully, we were able to get a table at RH Ocean Grill in Newport Beach, where we enjoyed a wonderful Father's Day dinner that lasted until 10:00 p.m. They completely turned our evening around. It's disappointing because we've always enjoyed dining here and have had many great experiences in the past. That's what made this visit even more surprising. It's unfortunate that such an important occasion was overshadowed by poor service, an unprofessional attitude, and a lack of concern when we brought our experience to management's attention.

This place popped up, and it was happy hour. So we thought why not. We got lucky and found parking close (rare for that street). And walked over and immediately loved the vibe. We walked in and were greeted immediately, and then brought upstairs. The decor on the way up was awesome. The old school nature, with paintings and abstract vintage pieces.. love. We came to celebrate a birthday and this restaurant was the choice of said birthday girl. The reservation process was easy. We were seated immediately. We decided to start with bottled water (Aqua Panna) but several felt it just tasted like tap water and didn't drink it. A waste of money. The restaurant was packed so slow service was to be expected. Our waitress took our order shortly after being seated. Starting with a Ceasar salad, which was the best thing we had all night. It was light and flavorful. 3 of us ordered the much anticipated pot pie as it's now served on Monday and Tuesdays. Sadly we were all disappointed. It completely lacked flavor! This was brought to the attention of our waitress, where I told her it was flavorless and asked for salt and pepper (S&P) to try and fix it. We did receive those items + hot sauce. After 3 rounds of adding S&P, my dish was "ok" enough to eat. I personally felt this could have been handled better, instead of pretty much blown off. 3 of 4 people unhappy with their meal and no sorry, no offer to replace the dish or bringing it the managers attention. 5 mins later she came back to see if the S&P made it better. No credit to the bill, offer for dessert, nada!! Just the full check brought to our table for payment. After our bill was paid, we saw the manager and called him over. After notifying him of how horrible the pot pie was, he did provide a gift card as an apology to the person in our party who got his attention since our bill was already paid. The card amount is approximately enough to cover 1 pot pie including tip and tax (with a small bit left over). I do appreciate he tried to make it right(ish), but 3 meals were horrible, not just 1. I did have a good first experience here and hope there is quality control measures put in place as food like what we ordered should have never left the kitchen. With so many wonderful higher end restaurants in town, it will be a while before I give this place another try. BTW, they do not validate, so parking on the street is ideal or be aware of the time limit for free structure parking.

We took advantage of the $60 three-course menu and upgraded our steak cuts--and let me tell you... Those steaks arrived SIZZLING, buttery, tender, and cooked to perfection. That first cut went through the steak like slicing through butter. DELISH! For the drinks, I enjoyed a Smoky Brown Butter Old Fashioned , Wifey enjoyed her Pomegranate Martini , and our daughter went with a Lemon Drop/Strawberry Martini. Justin kept it classic with his Coke. Great food? Absolutely. Great drinks? Absolutely. But what made the evening memorable was the experience. You don't have to wait for a special occasion to create a special experience. Sometimes it's about the people you're with, the effort you put into the moment, the service you receive, and taking the time to simply enjoy the table you're sitting at. Anthony, Isaac, and the entire Ruth's Chris Long Beach team--thank you for helping us celebrate Justin's 29th birthday in style! To another successful dining experience!

Both cooked to medium-rare but completely different flavors once done. I love the density of a New York over the fatty rib eye although most people say it's more flavorful. It comes out perfect a nice little crispy outside and pink in the middle.. We love that the steak comes out on a sizzling hot plate! For our side we shared asparagus with hollandaise sauce to keep it simple. I kept dipping my steak in the sauce but there was no need to it had so much flavor. And don't forget the fresh complimentary bread that is brought to the table before you're served your food. So delicious! We passed on drinks tonight and stuck with our water. This location is a bit small, it was a packed house tonight and the place filled up quickly. However it never gets too loud, music is playing at perfect volume to keep it intimate and I love the way they open their windows at sunset and the golden hour shines bright inside, seems romantic to me. I also recommend the Chilean sea bass! Phenomenal. Great place for dates and special occasions. Looking forward for another visit soon!

Restaurant is packed, so place resos if possible. Food here is absolutely delicious. Notable dishes for me are the Pad See Ew with the giant shrimp and the Salmon Larb. Pad See ew had such a good wok fry essence. So flavorful, and perfect blend of savory and slight sweetness. Chinese broccoli nicely wok fried. The shrimp was jumbo and so succulent. Salmon Larb was perfectly cooked with fried cubes of juicy flavorful salmon. Tossed in fresh mint, cilantro, scallions, a ton of fresh lime juice, chili flakes, red onions and lettuce. The toasted rice powder was definitely apparent as every Larb dish should have. Slightly different take of Larb, bit more modernized and tweaked cause definitely a salad with the lettuce versus served with the cabbage and cucumber on the side. I don't think you can go wrong with what you order. Definitely fusion of authentic with a modernized American feel. Cocktails were excellent and recommend their Tamarind Spicy drink, don't remember the name but it was so good. Unfortunately no photos cause we weee hungry and just cleared out the food as it came out. Service is straight forward. We got what we needed with a bit wait due to the fact the place is BUSY!

For starters, we got the Parker House Rolls, which comes with truffle butter, local citrus honey, and grana padano cheese. These rolls were so fluffy and flavorful. We also ordered the hummus, which was so rich and creamy, and the oysters from the raw bar. For the main, we ordered the Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop, Fish & Chips, and the Wedge salad to share. And let me tell you, that everything was so good. The Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop came with a whole show, where staff would bring out the dish in a smoke-infused glass dome and open the dome when presented on the table so we can smell and see all the smoke. Not only was it beautiful to look at, but it tasted just as beautifully. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the rainbow swiss chard, cheddar grits, candied pecans, and avocado honey helped balance out all the juiciness from the meat. They use haddock fillet for the Fish & Chips, which was fried to perfection. The Wedge Salad is what actually knocked my socks off! This was one of the best wedge salads that I've ever had. It had your key ingredients: iceberg, buttermilk dressing, red onion, crumbled egg, tomato, bacon gastrique, blue cheese, dill, chives - but something about this salad was different! It was so refreshing, flavorful--just everything you want in a dish. We ended the dining experience with their Peach Cobbler Hand Pie, which came with streusel, pistachio crumble, salted caramel, and vanilla ice cream. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the area!

She then said you and your party can get out or I can call the cops. When I asked the clear manager in his outfit, requesting who the fake GM was, he along with the Bartender on shift played stupid as to supply her name. Margarita clearly was not a GM but felt that she needed to keep creating an unnecessary situation. The situation was already de escalated when he complied with what she asked. Do better with your staffing saint and second.

Trying several items on the menu provided us a nice sampling of what they have to offer. We enjoyed everything we ordered. My favorite was probably the Brussel sprouts as they were cooked to perfection and not sweet like most restaurants serve them. A close 2nd was the chicken parmesan served over zucchini noodles. The final item ordered was a mushroom pasta with shrimp. The shrimp were fantastic with a light char and perfect flavoring. The pasta was good. It was a bit to spicy for me with the chili oil so I only had a small portion. The inside is simple yet inviting with an open layout. They seemed a bit short staffed, but every one was hustling and honestly we were well taken care of. Sad I won't have another opportunity to try more of the menu, but grateful to squeeze in this visit before they close in about a week.

It did look quite busy on the patio when we checked in with the hostess. We were informed that it would prob be about 20 minutes or so for a table and if we wanted to wait at the bar. Exactly what we did. Bar area had maybe 5/6 hi top chairs that look onto the bar. Gabriel and Francisco who were working was knocking the drinks out one by one. Sitting there and just watching them create magic for everyone, it was quite amusing. Seeing how it's made and presented with precise detail, it was an art. While waiting for the table we started off with the raspberry lychee martini and the spicy margaritas. Both were great. The right amount of kick with each sip. Gabriel was knocking them out one by one and man was he busy. Fransisco took are of us while we were eating which we ended up just having our dinner at the bar instead. The last time I remembered the chicken Parmesan which was excellent. So we started off with the grilled prawns as a starters. Five prawns in a skewers and grilled with a delicious sauce accompanied. It was tasty and quite delicious. Decent size and meaty for each bite. Entrees was a little mishap as our meal was mistakenly given to the party next to us which they enjoyed. Honesty mistake but we laughed it off. Kitchen was informed and a rushed was put on our order. We weren't in a rush so it was fine with us. They apologized and graciously offered us a dessert after dinner. Something simple but very graceful for the honest mistake. Entrees, the wild mushrooms pasta which was quite tasty and pretty decent in size. The cream sauce which wasn't too over powering the meal was great. Each bite was very tasty. Then there was the chicken Parmesan which why we were here and expecting. The last visit it was excellent with grilled broccolini, slices of tomatoes on top and mozzarella cheese and onto spaghetti pasta. It was great. Thinking it would be the same this time which it wasn't. This visit, it was just served with squash pasta and buffalo mozzarella on top. Honestly it wasn't what I expected, somewhat of a little disappointed. Chicken was good don't get me wrong. But the hot meat with sauce and then you have literally COLD squash pasta paired with it. It was a little underwhelming. Overall, we still had a nice experience. The place was pretty full and of course the lakers were on so it was fun seeing everyone cheering them on. Bar seating for a meal was great as we had fun conversations with both Gabriel and Francisco. Plus they were cranking them drinks out one by one. Excellent in what they do. The drinks were great, grilled prawns and wild mushrooms pastas were excellent. Chicken parm, this time was a miss. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and cocktails. Also the dessert, highly recommend the Cinnabon with vanilla ice cream. Wow, it went down very well. Hoping next time will outdo this.

We happened to be in the neighborhood and within very close proximity so I said "phuck it", lets FINALLY give it a try lol. Patio dining is the most popular as they do not have AC inside; however, the tables were too close for my comfort (there were a couple open) so we chose to dine inside and it was not bad in there (temp wise) at all (they have a fan on). We started off with the burrata app (24.00, gulp!) & it came with three rolls (not sure if homemade), the burrata, and what appeared to be a tapenade. It was tasty but definitely not worth the price. For entrees, I ordered the pappardelle (26.00) which came with a pork ragu & bone marrow (BTW, pasta is made fresh in house). BFF ordered some type of pasta with spicy pork sausage (33.00). Both were very tasty with just a tad of spiciness. We did not order any dessert as our server did not offer any as well as not seeing it on the menu (one page menu). I am glad that I finally got to dine in at this place; however, it is for special occasions only (in my book) as it came to 115.00 for 2 (before tip) & that was with no alcoholic beverages (just soda). I did notice on their website that they have "oyster hour" (happy hour with oysters) 6 days a week so I'd definitely like to try that with more reasonable pricing!

The location itself is beautiful with trendy and upscale decor. Very picturesque. As for the food, I ordered the Maui French toast, and it was phenomenal. It is not your typical French toast--it had a crispy churro crust and this unique whipped cream, the flavor and presentation really stood out. The food was so bad that we barely ate any of it. When we brought this to the manager's attention, instead of addressing the poor quality of the food, she immediately told us we still had to pay for it. At first, she only offered 10% off and a slice of birthday cake, which was honestly insulting considering we couldn't even eat the meal. What made the experience even worse was that she tried to justify the poor quality by saying we came in late and that the food isn't the same at that time. That's simply not an acceptable excuse. If a restaurant is open and serving customers, the quality of the food should be consistent no matter what time you walk in. After going back and forth, she eventually increased the discount to 50%, but still refused to remove the meal from the bill, even though we barely touched it because it was inedible. We weren't looking for a free meal--we just expected food that matched the quality a restaurant should serve and customer service that takes legitimate concerns seriously. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below those expectations, and I won't be returning.
