Saw on Yelp they had the best reviews so I chose them for my daughters party. When I went to place an order ahead, they were so nice. The shop was very clean. They gave my son a little bag of donut holes for free. When i went to pick up my 2 dozen donuts they also added in a few extras. I couldn't stop eating the Apple fritter on my way home! It was about as big as my head! They were also so nice when I went to pick it up. The man working carried my boxes to my car. The donuts were so delicious and a big hit for the party. We found this shop when we lived nearby short term, and now we drive there from San Marcos. The donut holes are the best I've ever had. Another favorite is their buttermilk donuts. And I love their iced coffee! It's addictive! The staff is always super friendly and kind. They remember us even though sometimes it's been awhile since we've been there. read more

I'm going to base this review on the "variety" of donuts that I asked for. I will return so they may have redemption. It's great working in the corporate office of a company, one of the perks we have is donut Friday! So today just happened to be my Friday to bring in donuts and I decided to check this place out. There was a large family there waiting for their order when I arrived and a solo gentleman placing his order. This gave me an opportunity to look at the options that were there in front of me so I would have some idea of what to expect. Service was pretty quick, no complaints there. I asked for 2 dozen donuts and when asked which ones I wanted, I said "give a nice variety". The man behind the counter went to plucking away at the donuts and loading them into the boxes. I wasn't really paying attention to which ones he was grabbing, and that's where I messed up. I was looking at how many varieties had the red, white, and blue sprinkles to celebrate the upcoming 4th. I was looking at which donuts my son would pick out had I brought him with me. I was looking at which ones my coworkers would enjoy most (I know some of their favorites). When I arrived at the office I opened the box and found 2 dozen BORING donuts. No red, white, and blue sprinkled donuts. No chocolate or vanilla sprinkled donuts. 1 sprinkled donut was in the boxes. ONE of TWENTY-FOUR DONUTS!! Can you imagine the disappointment? I did get 3 of the...coffee cake donuts??? 3 glazed. 2 plain old fashioned. 2 sugar coated. 1 buttermilk. 2 chocolate covered buttermilk. 1 blueberry (which I was told was delicious). 2 chocolate covered logs. 1 maple covered log. 1 maple fritter. 1 cinnamon raisin spin. 1 jelly filled. Can you feel my disappointment? I understand the need to offload donuts that nobody buys, but when someone walks in a buys 2 dozen donuts you can at least give them the variety they ask for. Unless you don't like repeat customers, then definitely offload the ones nobody buys. I will admit, the donuts were pretty good. A return for redemption will be required. The question is, do I pick my own donuts or do I leave the fate of the donuts at the hand of the picker? read more

The donuts are fluffy and soft, the jelly ones are filled ~ no skimping & not overly sweet! If you only want a little something, try the donut holes, so good they melt in your mouth. Apple fritters are huge and full of apples. The ham & cheesey croissant is big enough to split, but so good you won't want to share!!! Let me tell you, the strawberry banana smoothies are so creamy and thick and not too sweet, they make the best I've ever had! So glad we found them, we've been there every weekend since!:) read more

My wife and I stopped in here for some donut holes and breakfast before heading back to Vegas. She got the Ham and cheese croissant, I got the Bacon and cheese croissant. OMG!!!! These were theeeee BEST we have had by far!!!!!! Perfectly made, and delicious!!!! The service was EXCELLENT as well!! Awesome find!!! This is my go-to donut spot for my staff. The service is always friendly and they have a lot of regulars. I order their croissant sandwiches but add jalapeno and cream cheese. Very good fluffy chocolate glazed donut. That was joined with a coconut smoothie/icee. We will go back. Update: second visit- chocolate cream cheese croissant... may be the death of me. Very good but I suspect it is not fat free... but so goood. 6th visit. Our bad... when showing up at a donut shop near noon expect the pickings to be slim. Sk's Donuts has been at the same location for many years. They are always super friendly and greet you with a smile. Their donuts are consistently fresh and tasty. I really like their glazed, maple, cinnamon crumb and strawberry raised donuts. Their apple fritters are pretty good too. They also have 3 different kinds of donut holes (my kids love them). I've been there after 10am a couple of times and it was slim pickins' so be sure to get there earlier for the best selection. As with most donut shops, they only accept cash but fortunately there is an ATM machine a few feet to the left of the cash register. Note: Be careful when entering the parking lot when heading North on Coast Highway because there isn't much of a left turn lane and people tend to speed. read more

This place is a hidden gem for donuts and breakfast sandwiches. The folks are super nice and friendly! The hot ham and cheese croissant melted in the mouth. Very large portions and big servings. Awesome donuts if you go with the ones made by them. Idk why the chocolate frosted and chocolate frosted with nuts are pre-packed junk from another vendor. Everyone impressed with their donuts flavor and size as well as their blended coffee drinks. No hot coffee available Cash only prob helps keep it cheap and the prices are great for the product. It was easy to give this donut shop a five star review, because of the quality, selection and service. Quality- fluffy, fresh, and NOT greasy. Selection-hard to find donuts are found here, such as coconut topping and chocolate donut with raspberry filling. Service-quick, efficient and willing to put filling in a donut that can take it (ie raspberry). This donut shop is busy on weekends, so get there early to get the best selection. Im here 2-3 times a week grabbing breakfast before work A++!! They always remember my name and my order_ - try the egg and cheese breakfast bagels I always mix it up between ham or bacon! Donuts are super fresh and not to overbearing and once in a while I try my luck at the lucky scratchers! If your in the area stop by for great prices FYI its cash only but they do have an ATM inside. If you are on a quest to find the best donuts this is a stop you do not want to miss, especially their apple fritter filled with chunks of apple. Came in for a breakfast sandwich and some treats. While trying to figure out what I wanted to eat, the guy at the counter gave me some free donut holes. Sweet! This used to be my spot back in the early 2000's when my lady lived in this area. Like most donut spots it was a cash only but I think they had an ATM machine. The donuts were good and the prices were great. This is a real deal mom and pop operation. Very small with a few tables not fancy just straight to the point with donuts and drinks! read more

Great donuts. I'm not a huge fan of donuts and I never comment on Yelp but this place deserves a shout out. We have been living in the area just over a year now and unfortunately walking distance to S&K which means we make too many trips to the donut store but let me tell you if I lived further I would drive here to get my donuts because they are fresh and taste amazing. My favs are the blueberry cake, croissant and everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. I also take a dozen to work now & again and my co-workers rave about them! This is a family owned business ran by husband and wife ( I believe) and the children help out because sometimes see them there I think to give their hardworking parents a break. They have these "app only" deals but here's the kicker - the store has no service! so tonight I'm standing online holding up the entire line trying to get this app to show me the deal on broccoli so I don't have to pay $10 for broccoli... everyone behind me is aggravated and rightfully so! Like human beings are not stressed out enough now we have to deal with this? The cashier is just standing there... finally he gave up when he saw that I wasn't just gonna give up and pay full price and just scanned the barcode for me and I just looked at him like sir, You had the barcode this whole time and you had me here fighting with an app holding up the line pissing everyone off like, are you for real? I've been saying I'm going to do this for a long time but tonight I finally had enough. I'm going home to research and invest in a meat box, a vegetable box, looking up all my local farmers markets and probably going to re-join thrive market because I just cannot with this place anymore.
