Best bang for your buck. Donuts are so much better than any chain Dunkin' Donuts or Krispy Kreme. Blueberry cake donuts are amazing as well as the old-fashioned and they have huge bear claws. The couple that runs Sk's donuts are angels. The donuts are way too delicious. They also have bagels and sell lottery tickets. There is lots of seating inside. The location on PCH is perfect for me and really convenient when passing by on the freeway on the way to work. They serve a blueberry donut and they even have blueberry donut holes!! I can't say enough good things and love stopping by to buy a dozen or two and share their donut making magic gift with others. I recommend the Boston creme or anything filled- extra filling I feel which is even better. They have a small one way parking lot but it's nice because you can get to your car really easily when you walk out with your donuts. So good! They also take credit card which is nice. read more

Since I was not in the mood for fast food restaurants, so I picked this place. Wow, what an unassuming place. It's somewhere between a hole in the wall and fast food place. Ok .. so you have to get past the tacky decor and colors. It's obviously an old building and decorating is NOT their strong point. There's a lotto kiosks out.. but don't let that smear your opinion just yet. The workers and owners are a family. And they remember their regular customers.. ask about your family. I'll keep their kindnesses to myself because I don't want anybody to exploit there kindness... but believe me, it is there, and they care about every customer that walks through the door. The food.. finally.. they're strong point is absolutely breakfast sandwiches. They have breakfast sandwiches on croissant bread that are absolutely life-changing. During my wife's pregnancy, I would go at least once a week, but up to two times a week for one of the sandwiches for her. They are not stingy with the meat, there's a melted cheese that gives it a very rich yummy taste.. it's a melted white cheddar if I had to guess. The donuts are my personal favorite. It seems you can go through 100 donut places and almost get the exact same thing every place. They don't have any novelties or specialty donuts really.. they have a small selection of the classics. Do not befooled by the simple menu. The donuts or a very high-quality, and or a leg up above the traditional every day doughnut you get from your corner shop. The crumb donut, for instance, is fantastic. The coconut, glazed doughnut is delicious.. they are maple bars stand around the average, but they're blueberry donut is again and head and shoulders above the normal. Hah! I've been looking, I knew they were here somewhere, I finally found them.... North County's best doughnuts! Some friends were coming over and I thought some boxes of doughnuts were in order. Raced on over to this retro doughnut shop near Oceanside Bvd. The doughnuts were just as promised: not greasy, very tasty, very satisfying. And if you've got a hankering for a doughnut, you gotta try the chocolate cinnamon roll. It's humongous, a cinnamony doughnut topped with gobs of chocolate frosting. Chopped it up into pieces and we polished it off... along with a bunch of others. The only one that doesn't get an A is the jelly doughnut. The jelly inside was waaaay too sweet and gooey. SK'S. WAS. AWESOME. This morning, we got out of the condo we're staying at, looking for a quick bite to eat before thrift-shopping. We didn't want to go to some chain like Dunkin Donuts, as we're fans of supporting local businesses. After searching a few places, we decided on SK's. You enter the place and there's beautiful Asian-inspired art on the wall. The display of the food is also intriguing too. It's not anything extraordinary but it's not everyday you see a donut shop selling lottery tickets! My mom got an Apple Fritter, I got a bagel w/ cream cheese and a large Kona French Roasted coffee, and my younger sister got a Cinnamon crumble donut. Not only did we get all our food very quickly, but the man at the counter also gave my younger sister a blueberry glazed donut for free!! I thought that was very kind. My coffee was great! It was at just the right temperature that wasn't too hot as soon as I got it. And my bagel was amazing! It was a different bagel than I had ever tried and the cream cheese was super unique too :) my mom enjoyed her apple fritter thoroughly. We just stopped at SK's donuts for the first time since moving to Oceanside one and a half years ago. We've been looking for the ultimate breakfast sandwich. We definitely found it! We ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich that came piping hot with lots of cheese, egg and very crispy bacon. We also ordered an apple fritter and a blueberry cake donut, but we were gifted with at least a half a dozen free glazed Donut holes. The donut holes were amazing. Light, fluffy, not too much glaze, and just melts in your mouth. The blueberry cake doughnut is fluffy and delicious with lots of blueberry flavor, and the apple fritter is exploding with apple chunks and cinnamon. A mask is required and they are definitely enforcing this, which is great. And the service is very friendly. If you haven't tried SKs donuts, definitely make your way over for a piping hot breakfast sandwich. You can't go wrong! read more

Stopped in here while on vacation to grab some donuts for the kiddos. This place is awesome. It's like the "Cheers" of donut shops. The owners seemed to know the names of every third person who walked in, and it was a steady stream of customers.
