Wow! This location is better than any Sizzler that I could remember. The room is bright lots of natural light from the windows and everything is nice and clean. The restaurant was packed with lots of customers during my late lunch and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The host that took my order was pleasant and I was able to use Apple Pay. Always a plus! I ordered a favorite of mine, Malibu chicken which comes with a baked potato, greasy bread and a salad. All for $13.10! I was happy with the salad, you fix it yourself from the salad bar. Everything at the salad bar looked so fresh. I made a mix of iceberg and Romaine lettuce and added blue cheese dressing. My meal arrived after the salad and came with a good sized potato not those tiny ones wrapped in foil. I have not been to a sizzler in over a decade, this one definitely has had a facelift since I've last visited. The booths and tables were looking good. I ordered the Italian herb chicken plate with endless salad bar. The endless salad bar is extra, you only get one trip to the salad bar otherwise. Very small, limited salad bar. They don't have as much as other Sizzler locations. They're very small inside the building with a small parking lot. Their salad bar food bowls were left empty for over 40 mins of my visit for a late lunch. I asked a couple of times if the jello would be refilled soon and it seemed as if the employee refilled all the food bowls and reserved replenishing the jello last. Food is just okay. I only come here to bring my grandma every once in a while. Parking: Beware they have very limited parking. Don't park on 19th street. Your car will get damaged. Ours just happened and others I've heard parked in this residential street had either their front or back bumpers dented or scratched because parking is so congested. People don't care to hit cars if they can't get out. Others have had their cars broken into. There's also a lot of homeless hanging out in the area so park at your own risk. There's plenty of parking on Beverly Blvd or business right behind Sizzler on the weekend. Sizzler should look for another location in Montebello. Service at buffet style restaurants are usually not that great, but this Sizzler's service is spot on! Our server came around and checked on us frequently and removed/brought us plates whenever we needed it. I have not been to Sizzler since I was a little kid (10+ years) and things have changed. We used to be able to order a meal and add the salad bar for an additional $3. The price is now around $6 to add. If you want to do the salad bar on its own, it is going to be $12. We decided to order an entree and add the salad bar so we would have more options. Plus the price wouldn't be that much more depending on what you order. A 3 piece chicken tender plus fries is $10. For a party of 3, we ordered 2 orders of chicken tenders and 1 fish and chips, all with salad bar with a grand total of around $50. The chicken tenders were not bad and the fries were pretty good. They were definitely well seasoned. Their buffet is significantly smaller from what I remembered as a kid. I was really looking forward to the cookies but they did not have it here. They have a section with hot foods that include: fried chicken wings, potatoes, onion rings and pasta. Soup section that had 4 different soups. Taco/nachos station. Dessert station and a salad/fruit station. Overall I mainly ate the chicken tenders and chicken wings since I wanted the protein. The chips at the nacho station were really crispy and they have guacamole there too. The fruits were really fresh as well. They finally re-opened!! We went on a Friday at 5pm and there was already a long line. It took us 30 mins to get to the front and order and get seated. Parking is valet only, but we just went straight ahead and parked at a neighborhood and walked over. We got 2 unlimited salad bars (~$15). The inside is very clean and modern. The food is standard compared to other Sizzlers that I've been to. My only complaints are the chicken noodle soup tasted watered down when I had a bowl and their only dessert option is ice cream!! The endless salad bar/hot food meal option here is one of the greatest buffet deals you'll ever come across and the most-bang-for-your-buck deal at Sizzler! My usual favorite items to get from the buffet area are: tacos, pasta, the build-your-own salad bar, and one of the tastiest soft serve (vanilla, chocolate, or swirl; the last choice is my favorite of the three offered) ice cream stations. However, I'm not increasing my star rating to a total of 5, due to their famous fried chicken wings tasting overly breaded/battered and containing only a meager meatiness on each individual cooked wing. This was my first time at any Sizzler location and I was actually impressed. Maybe my bar was pretty low because all my friends said it was "meh", "just another chain", or other comments. I came with my GF. I got the baby back ribs and she got the steak. We both got the salad as well which is unlimited. The salad bar has all the veggies and toppings you can imagine. Not only that, the salad bar includes chicken wings, mac n cheese, soups, meatballs and other unhealthy goodness. I was already full by the time my baby backs arrived but oh man they were fall off the bone! This place exceeding my low expectations. Service was quick and friendly and the restaurant was clean. I'm not one to write a review but this one made me mad! Me and my girl went out to dinner to the local Sizzler located in the City of Montebello. Everything was good till I got to the salad bar, it was out of dressing so I politely asked the woman working the salad bar if she could refill it. Another customer and I were waiting and this woman told me sarcastically and with attitude to "wait". I'm in customer service as well and this is no way to address a customer. Grrr! There was no way I was letting this slide so I spoke to the assistant manager about this lady's attitude. I was told she was going to have a talk with her. After about 45 minutes I saw the assistant manager speaking to her. I found out later that this woman has a history of lashing out to customers and to her own co-workers. She needs people skills and new training on customer service or leave her problems at home and not take them to work and/or find a different field of occupation. My dinner and our anniversary were ruined due to her unprofessionalism. She needs Corporate to straighten her out. If this continues, Sizzlers will have fewer customers and I don't think all the hens need to be blamed because of one bad egg. Thanks sizzler you screwed my night up. read more

Love coming to our local Sizzler's for the salad bar. It's always so fresh. I hate that they no longer have cream of broccoli soup one of my fave's. They always have a variety of assorted salad's, foods and soups. My only beef today was that we came for lunch for the usual salad bar. Lunch salad bar is $11.69 between 11-4 Senior salad bar is $12.49 all day. My mom always ordering as a "senior" ordered 2 salad bars 1 senior and 1 regular. Manager rang us up and rang it up as requested. I was a bit irritated because he could have easily rang up it as courtesy for the lunch prices. I've been to plenty of other establishments that will go above and beyond to say "hey let's do this or order this way to save you a few bucks here and there.
