Tried the app for the first time. Worked great. Ordering was easy. App menu was clear. My 20 percent off was easily applied. Still not sure how the booth bucks works, or why it's called booth bucks... but I haven't accumulated enough yet. The food was ready to go at the time stated and when I arrived, no waiting. I went inside to pickup. The food was well packed, not compostible takeaway containers. but it was an interesting double-tiered plastic container (like a plate or shelf inside, so foods fit a smaller footprint and also kept separated from fried crispy foods closer to the vented top. Took away a star for the cook on the t-bone steak...asked for medium, but got well done. Maybe ask for rare so compensate, and maybe it'll come medium. Aldo the rice was cold and dry. 3/5 and i live only 5 min from this lication. Also forgot the tartar sauce for my fried fish. Also, no country gravy ebem though i selected this option, or i thought i did. It wasn't on the receipt, which was itemized, (which was a nice detail)...so the no tartar sauce no country gravy might be on me even tho i thought i had added it. Everything else I asked for --steak sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper was in a separate plastic bag. I had the option of utensils, but decided not to add it. The mashed potatoe and onion ring sides were good. 5/5. The fried fish, good 5/5. Suggestion -- the t-bone steak, 3/5, it's thin so the cook might adjust in order to get the temp as requested. Or ask for rare, and adjust it yourself at home. So overall, takeout fom this location, 5 mins away, via the app works nicely. Most items were hot upon arrival. A Truly Exceptional Denny's Experience This Denny's location is outstanding! It's one of the best-run restaurants I've stepped into, chain or otherwise. The entire team operated like a well-oiled engine, moving seamlessly through the Sunday morning rush with professionalism, warmth, and genuine joy in their work. You could feel the teamwork, and it made the whole environment shine. The restaurant itself was in pristine condition - clean, organized, and even festively decorated, which added such a welcoming touch. Every employee looked put-together (which you definitely don't see everywhere), and every interaction, from greeting to goodbye, felt thoughtful and customer-centered. We sat at the counter, which gave us a unique behind-the-scenes view into the minute-by-minute operation. Watching the team support one another, handle high demand with ease, and still deliver exceptional service was truly impressive. Michelle G. was our server, and she was great! She definitely contributed to the friendly, efficient, and attentive spirit of the team without ever seeming rushed. The food arrived quickly, was served hot, and tasted delicious. It was exactly what you hope for at Denny's, and they nailed it. This store is an exemplary one. Truly. Nice work, team. I hope the corporate office sees this and recognizes the commitment, skill, and heart that make this location run at such a high level. One small note: There was a sign posted stating that employees must not make requests for time off as the holidays approach. This Denny's location has stood out to us with their exceptional ability to serve their patrons efficiently with care. I'm extremely impressed with the service here and am curious as to how their manager is pulling this off with their staff. Everyone is friendly and courteous while maintaining their efficiency. They are always packed here when we stop by for lunch after my mother's medical appointments in the San Gabriel Valley. There are lots of parking adjacent to the building, which we really appreciate because my elderly mother is blind and walk very slowly so it's nice to not have to go through the parking lot. Even though it's packed, there is usually no wait. They are quick to take orders and bring out the food, and they never forget to give us extra napkins and know how to bring out the receipt and take home containers at the perfect timing. My mother and I go to many Denny's locations, as Denny's is the only place she is familiar with and feels comfortable dining in after she had lost her eyesight. Denny's also reminds her of her time spent with my late father and it makes her happy, so I'm glad Denny's is still going strong as a business after all these crazy years. Thank you! read more

Denny's Montebello is a Montebello staple. Like most Denny's, its a good place to grab some breakfast when you're on the go. I visited after catching an event at the Quiet Cannon Venue up the street. My friends and I came to grab a late night meal and a little coffee to help the ride home. We were immediately acknowledged and seated within minutes. Our waiter came over and took our drink order and we had mugs of coffee in minutes. I usually don't expect much from a Denny's but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the strawberry crepes with eggs and bacon. Did they skimp on the bacon, yes, yes they did- the eggs were done the way I wanted them, but the crepes more than made up for my one strand of bacon cut into two pieces. Next time I'll know to order a side of bacon for my bacon. Alright, I'm done complaining now. =) This Denny's will always be an option next time I'm in the area. read more

We waited about 20 minutes and we had to get up to ask for the check because we lost our appetite waiting for water refills and napkins. 4 napkins for spaghetti and a greasy burger? We didnt have water like 15 minutes in considering the small cups and cups were full with ice. We saw our server like twice once to take our order and to drop off the food.
