You really can't go wrong with the Silver Diner. They have many locations in the area and none of them really disappoint. The bison huevos rancheros was very tasty. read more

Silver Diner - Strawberry and blueberry health shake. - Diners Near Me - Reston, Virginia

Customer service here is always top notch along with the food. I Been coming to this location for 3 years now and I can't say enough great things about this diner. My family and I always look forward to coming here on the weekends for breakfast. read more

I have visited this Reston location several times over the years and mostly had an ok experience. But they are clearly not prepared for operating under COVID19 conditions even though it is almost mid-June now. The curb side delivery experience is below par compared with other restaurants in the area. First, they still bring a paper printout of your card payment to sign - you have to touch their clipboard, pen et al. No touch-less payment option here. Second, your order is not checked for completeness. Normally I don't, but for some reason I looked into the bag to check. (Glad I discovered before returning home). When I informed the delivery person of the missing item, it was brought out but without a hint of apology or the courtesy expected at a restaurant. On the contrary, I was given the impression that the restaurant was doing me a big favor by delivering at the curb. Probably the person was tired or overworked in these hard times, but it certainly is for the management to ensure that its service staff knows it job. I know times are hard for restaurants, but some are approaching it the wrong way - jacking up prices ($7.50 for a small vanilla shake?) and skimping on service. read more

My wife and I decided to do lunch here. I enjoyed everything about the experience. I had corn beef with eggs and home fries for my lunch (I know). Eggs cooked perfectly and so was the corn beef hash and home fries. Nothing was the least bit greasy. Can't wait to come back to eat again. Love the décor and staff was great. read more

Very, very good food. Good service, too Sustainable menu along with traditional fare... Loved It read more

I must say that at first I thought this was going to be another greasy, unhealthy diner....boy was I wrong. Silver Diner has something for everyone! While you can still get the usual diner food here, you can also get healthy food made with locally grown and organic products. I went here for breakfast and it was delish!!!!! Really look forward to returning and trying out some of their other dishes. My friend told me the whole menu has been revamped in the last few months. read more

This is a perfect diner. I was craving a healthy breakfast and they provided. The Oj tastes like real OJ not he concentrate stuff. They have local Amish eggs and creative menu items. I was absolutely satisfied with my meal and the ambience was perfect with table jukeboxes at every table and impeccable themed decor. And the staff was a delight! read more

Consistent and you know what to expect. Good diner food, service is hit or miss. Extensive menu that should enable everyone to find something to their liking. Overall a strong recommendation. I just can't bring myself to give a diner fiver stars. But it's a good place. I've been to many, many worse "diners." This place is in the family's regular rotation with multiple visits each year. read more

Breakfast was great here. Food was hot, the bagels were toasted perfectly and the Eggs Benedict was to die for. The service was impeccable also. Will be back. read more

They have the best service, and food I could ever imagine. Even if I was in a bad mood before I get there, I'd always come out with a smile! So, if you decide to go anywhere for sliders, tenders, soup, or breakfast, I recommend Silver Diner for the win! read more

Silver Diner is a great place to go with friends or family and they accommodate large groups well. The food isn't too fancy but always hits the spot. Service is on the slow side but the friendly staff makes up for it. read more

We have lived in Reston for 10 years and have frequented Silver Diner often as a couple and sometimes with our in - laws. We love how the menu has evolved and the emphasis on healthy local choices. Now that we have a 14 month old, I'm sad to say we may need to reconsider visiting. The server insisted the three of us adults sit in a large u shaped booth and our son be in the aisle in his highchair. It was uncomfortable with all of the hot coffee and hot dishes going by but worse when every server put hot coffee and or plates (straws, etc) down right in front of our son. Do they not know that toddlers touch everything? I think this would be an important part of training especially for a family friendly establishment. The food was wonderful but I was too worried about our little one to fully enjoy. read more

Perfect choice to bring my teenage daughter for a lite dinner. The atmosphere was fun, there were jute boxes at every table with a nice selection of oldies. The menu was varied enough to serve her limited interests, and my growing waist band. When the waiter brought an order of chicken fingers, on his own, he noted there were not enough and so brought a second order on the house. When was the last time you received that sort of service? The milk shake was thick, and we were given extra wide straws to conveniently slurp it up. read more

Poor response from manger on food issue: We went to Sliver Diner last night, June 11th at 8PM and ordered our regular meals Turkey Platter and Avocado Toast. The big bowl they serve the turkey platter in was only 60% full - we even took a picture of it. We asked the waitress for some extra mashed potatoes since there was only a half scoop in the bowl and the cook yelled at her in Spanish and she couldn't understand so I told her what he said since we were in a booth right across from the kitchen. My finance' spoke with the manager that night(female lady who would not give us her name) and she had nothing to say stating it must have been enough when they served it - no apology - no thanks for coming and being loyal customers (22 visits this year alone from us). We won't go back to this one. We plan to reach out to Corporate. Matt B. read more

What can I say about this place, first time coming to silver diner in Reston and trying to grab some dinner. I came in last week and I didn't know what to eat but my server named Joseph told me about the menu. He knows his stuff and provided me enough knowledge of the menu and i enjoyed my flat iron steak. Great customer service and nice atmosphere. I will definitely be back to try some other dishes in the menu. read more

Loved the service and the waiter was exceptional! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Came here on a Friday lunch time and got seated right away, the host was very welcoming and our server Gabi was very nice and checked up on us the right amount of time. The diner was very clean, I see everyone cleaning very frequently. Overall great experience! Food was great, and I'm so glad they brought back the LAMB MEATBALL APPETIZER. Soooo delicious. read more

Silver Diner is always amazing! The food was delicious, hot and fresh and our server Gabi was super friendly and attentive!!!

We order probably a couple times a month. Usually it's pretty good. Today my food was ok but my potatoes weren't fully cooked.

Good vegan selection and friendly staff always! Nice diner atmosphere and tasty food too!

On Friday, 10/14/16, I ate at this Silver Diner for the second time. The kale salad was plentiful and good. The fish & chips meal was very good, but the cole slaw was mediocre. My daughter enjoyed her pancake breakfast with eggs and homefries. Overall, we were stuffed when we left because the size of the meals definitely fill you up. I'll have to admit that I enjoyed putting a couple of quarters in the small table jukebox to listen to Michael Jackson hits. Someone else in the diner was a Whitney Houston fan because I heard several of her songs. The waitress, Patrima, was nice and attentive. The place was clean and the manager appeared to be welcoming and attentive. I would recommend checking out this Silver Diner. read more

The updated menu here is absolutely phenomenal! There is literally something for everyone--regardless of any dietary restrictions you may have. Pescatarian, Vegetarian and Vegan options galore! Service is very good and the restaurant is always very clean. I love the pick-up service. You can call in ANYTHING--even desserts--and they will have it ready in 20 minutes TOPS! Also; they never fail to include napkins, silverware and condiments which is nice since it's the type of stuff that's easily forgettable. A little note: If you do use the pick-up service, please remember to tip the cashier a couple of bucks--it does take time and effort to box up your food and include everything required for you to enjoy your meal. :) Overall, 4/5 Stars! read more

Yummmmmy! Meatloaf was ordered all around, the portions were generous and even though it wasn't my moms typical southern meatloaf it was delish! Soup starter was crab and corn chowder and my friends are still bragging about it. read more

I went there with my boyfriend before and it was delicious! We've eaten here for breakfast and for dinner and both were very good. the atmosphere was classic diner, but had the feel of a nice restaurant. I ordered the fish and chips for dinner and pancakes for breakfast. Made to order, farm fresh, great way to start my move here from North Carolina. They even have wine and beer there as well so if you want anything of that sort you can get it there too! They have everything you could possibly ever want there, and are moderately priced. read more

Solid option for good food, moderately priced but not cheap. Decent diner ambience. It's a diner theme. Some barstools along a diner counter, mostly vinyl booths that seat 4-6 people. There's a little "jukebox" at each table like in the 50s. The food is quite good, service always friendly, and even the wine and beer are good - so that's a step above diner food for sure. Much of the food is local, and there are healthy options. They have crayons and trinkets for the kids, who all like the place. Very extensive menu, from omelettes to breakfast all day, or a steak, or a Reuben. Open late for post-celebratory crowd who need some grease after a night on the town. Parking is pretty easy, though can get a little full as they're often busy. read more

I love this place! My go to for a quick easy breakfast! I've read the reviews, most complaints are about service - I always sit at the bar and I've always had attentive service and have gotten exactly what I ordered promptly and with a friendly smile. The menu is full of local ingredient dishes, plenty of healthy options and the food is super tasty. I've modified what I ordered each time and it always comes out correctly and promptly. Maria waited on me today and I was super happy with everything. She did a great job! The restaurant is clean and relatively quiet for a work-from-homer like me to come and crank out some emails while I eat. If you're wanting to try this place out, I can tell you that the bar service is consistently on point. read more

My husband and I went to Silver Diner in Glen Oaks, VA and our experience was terrible. A mouse came out and crawled underneath the table and it was horrible. We could not eat and went to the manager directly and she gave us two free dinners at another Silver Diner, but that is not enough. Health Department needs to come out to inspect. We complained to the owners too. read more

Always a great choice! The service and food are always good. Farm to table sets the diner apart from any other diner.

My husband and I ate at the Reston Silver Diner since we were in the area today. I was very impressed at the cleanliness of the restaurant and the enhancements made to better clean the air in the midst of the COVID concerns. I often meet clients for breakfast and we typically stay for a longer period of time to discuss issues, review plans, etc. I like going to Sliver Diner in Reston because they are always welcoming, the food is good, with a great variety for all diets, and...they really dont mind if I use one of their tables for my office for a couple of hours. Despite the turnover you would expect in a diner, there quality of service is consistent. They are well trained and detail oriented. I also have to give them credit for reinventing their menu. They have focused on quality, locally grown, healthy variety. I often bring guests that have some kind of restriction in their diet- gluten, vegetarian or whatever, because I know they will find something they can enjoy. Oh, and the bathrooms are always clean. If the bathroom is clean, then that tells me where they make the food is likely clean too. read more

I usually come here for breakfast when I'm visiting friends in town. Recently we were seated and saw some ants at the table. We just asked our waitress if we could move, we which she was happy to let us do.
