Look ! if you ever come to Baltimore go to silver diner. This is probably the one and only restaurant that is expensive and is worth the money in the airport. The soups are good I've had all of them. The beyond burger is good that's what I get all the time. The breakfast is good. I like that they have chicken sausage I don't eat pork too much anymore. The pineapple stir fry is good too. Try anything here there is a good chance you won't be disappointed. I'm wanting to try the milkshakes they look really good. Its always busy but walk to the podium and they will seat you right away. The staff is nice here. They also have an app I just found out about too. read more

Good quality ingredients just like all the other SD's, but some of the worst eggs I've ever had. They almost tasted like plastic. Also, I would expect service to be faster since you're in the airport but food took quite some time, don't go if you don't have over an hour to kill. read more

Our server Amanda made this an awesome Airport restaurant experience! She was energetic, personable, and still attentive for how busy she was. She had great suggestions and it was a pleasure to watch her interact with her other guest as well. read more

The Silver Diner was a bust for me and I think there are a lot of better choices in the BWI airport. I did enjoy the prompt, courteous, service. The woman who greeted me and took my order did an outstanding job. I also enjoyed the convenient, diner style, breakfast/lunch counter. The rest of the experience was not as positive. The issue being that one person takes the order and then someone else delivers it. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with home fries and toast. I got a burnt western omelette with crunchy, burnt home fries and an almost completely raw english muffin. I could have sent it back but I would have risked not getting to eat at all before my next flight, so I dealt with it. The Silver Diner gets two mediocre stars. There are plenty of other choices in that airport and I will go someplace else the next time I hit there. read more

Slightly expensive large diner located in Baltimore airport. Service was good, but food just average, maybe slightly above average. Decent portion sizes, versus the fast-food options in the same food court area. Restaurant appeared clean, had TVs with sports on, and has a central bar area to eat or have a beverage, but has plenty of tables too. They serve the full menu (breakfast / lunch / dinner) all day. But expect to pay more than you will at the other food options around it. read more

This dining experience far exceeded our expectations! The menu was impressive especially for an airport restaurant!! my husband got a burger which was cooked perfectly topped with crispy bacon, and I ordered the Oaxaca omelet which was sooo delicious! The toast it came with was super high quality whole wheat bread which I wasn't expecting either! Nice full bar too! Great place to stop and eat if you have the time Before your flight! Our server Cheryl Washington was the cherry on top of our Sunday! What a great server!! overall great experience! read more

These people here are as dumb as stumps and closer than molasses . Waiting to be seated you could go gray

Airport food. You know what I'm talking about. I've eaten here a couple of times, it's not terrible. I was going to have fish and chips until I saw they use Old Bay Seasoning. What is it with Maryland seafood and Old Bay, the Campbell's (soup) of quality food?? I settled for a cheese burger deluxe with bacon. At first glance the Silver Diner is fun a nostalgic. You can play music at your booth for a quarter, and you can get those classic ice cream treats of old. They have a wide selection on their menu, which in itself is a cut above the regular airport fast food cr*p. The service was good and friendly. A guy with "manager" on his shirt served us our food. He was polite, not overly conversational, but presented well. In the end, it's just another diner with airport food. Good luck! read more

Still the best airport food I've had - miss the vegetarian chili though! The tomato soup is rich and filling and avocado toast amazing! Thanks for continued good quality and taste! read more

The food was very good!! Our server Diamond was absolutely amazing!! She made our meal so pleasurable.

Update: the "response" below from the business manager is more BS. I sent my info to the email address provided, never heard back from anyone. I think they just put that on any negative reviews to make it look like they care when they are actually doing nothing to fix the problem. read more

Great spot to wait for your flight. Find a seat at the counter for bar for faster service. Full bar and many drafts on tap. Had the Brussel sprouts and a side a fries. A well balanced meal. Sprouts were crispy and delicious. Fries had a light dusting of old bay, perfectly seasoned. Fast and friendly service too! read more

Mucha musica, mucha comida. We enjoyed the chicken piccata and the turkey sandwich. Hated the Cole slaw, it tasted old! Bottomless soft drinks. Lots of food to choose from and the all-day breakfast looked pretty good as they passed us by with that avocado toast. Great dining option while at the airport. read more

Fast and efficient service from my bartender Kiana this morning, thank you & she's the best!

Fabulous server and bartender. Several clearly detailed plant based options. I had the pineapple stir fry. Not a lot of food but acceptable. It was cooked and served perfectly. Recommended for an airport meal on the run. read more

100% recommend. Their menu is incredibly diet-friendly, with heart healthy, gluten free, vegetarian, etc. options. I've been on a strict diet lately and this is the first time since I started it that I felt I had a "real" meal. Their milkshakes (with soy ice cream and oat milk) are delicious. Their gluten free bread is amazing, and their sweet potato fries are too. Staff was super nice and helpful. If you're in the Baltimore airport either waiting for or getting off a flight, you should definitely stop by to get a bite. read more

We saw multiple mice scurrying the isles during our visit, when I mentioned it to our server his response was "oh yeah, they usually are really active at night." read more

Took a long time to be seated. It wasn't busy the person just took their sweet time to seat people. That doesn't work so well for an airport. People have places to be! I ordered a chicken Cesar salad. My wife ordered the hearty breakfast and my mother in law ordered pancakes. She said her pancakes were good. My wife only like the bacon on her plate. The eggs had about 10lbs of cheese in them. My salad was ok. Nothing special. I did like the fact it had diced tomatoes in it. Was not worth $13 though. Really wanted to like it. All in all long wait for an over priced(yes I know it is in an airport) joint. read more

Came here after an unexpected sit. Even willing to undergo another security sweep (I was in the D Terminal...The Siver Diner is in the B Terminal). Worth the TSA smiles. They have this new lamb meat balls with spinich, feta, and peppers....AMAZING!!! We shared them and they were gone in less than 5 minutes. Breakfast is served all day and is done very nicely. The burgers are organic and very flavorful. My first farm-to-table venue at an airport. I'm glad we didn't make our first flight. This place is a treat. BWI has upped it's game. Lastly, our server Shante was outstanding and friendly. She made our stay a wonderful unrushed experience. Food was served very timely, even though it was somewhat busy. read more

The line was long, since it's just me I walked right up to the bar & received great service. The staff is awesome! They work as a team & service is outstanding. The bartender Bethany is the bomb. Everyone loved her Bloody Mary's. I had a pineapple mimosa, not a fan of Mary's. read more

Trying to find a decent sit-down meal in just about any airport is a crap shoot. After many trips through BWI, I Tom a chance on Silver Diner. Full disclosure, it's my first tome here and I can only review one meal - but that meal was excellent! I had the Heuvos Rancheros with ground bison hash. Perfectly cooked over easy eggs and just enough heat to be pleasantly warm but not overpowering the dish. Service and attention are excellent as well, very friendly and attentive on a not-too-busy Tuesday. read more

Woah! What a surprise! Was expecting a boring diner with eggs and cheap bacon, but ended up having an incredible experience instead! This is my go-to spot for BWI layovers now. Let's start off with the drinks - beer menu is extensive and very cheap (for the airport). Wine list is shorter, but still reasonable with generous pours. Impressive pricing on the drinks here (hard to find at the airport!) The food - not boring diner food at all! Lively menu with great options. Had the chicken pot pie and it was unique. Biscuits underneath, served almost as a soup. At first I was a bit confused, but actually thoroughly enjoyed it. Some great options on the menu - once again very reasonably priced for the quality and location you get. Knocked off 1 star due to the slow service (not very attentive) and the slow food prep. It took roughly 40 minutes to get our meal!!! Very long wait for any restaurant from food order to receiving the food. Besides the slower service, this would be a 5/5 for sure. Great spot - come here when in Terminal B at BWI. read more

I don't eat meat and this is the first diner I didn't have to just order eggs, toast and coffee, they have veggie sausage! I love this place. Since finding it's location I have been 3 times already, it has many more non meat items on the menu and I cannot wait for visit number 4. read more

This Review is two parts. 1. The food here was great, I had a Pineapple Stir Fry with Chicken and my Wife had a Grilled Cheese and Fries. We loved the ambience and the ability to play music through the Jukebox at our table. 2. I left my laptop at my table and flew home to Cincinnati without it. The incredible staff at this Diner not only held it for me for two days, they also packaged it for me and printed out the label I sent them to give to the UPS driver. Tito and Bucky the managers helped me the entire time and I cannot appreciate what these guys did anymore. I am so grateful to everyone at the Diner and when I am flying through Baltimore I will always stop in. read more

Second time in a week that I've stopped in, tons of gluten free options for me (which is usually hard to find at an airport) super friendly and fast service! Honestly amazed at how nice these people are, too often airports become a less personable experience for people passing through and to see your servers and managers all working together to give these travelers their best experience has really made my day and trip better. Thank you Janelle and management!!!! read more

Terrible dining experience! My girlfriend and I had a 2 hour stop over at BWI and so stopped at the Silver Diner for a quick burger. We were 'greeted' by a hostess who, without asking us to follow, grabbed 2 menus, shuffled to an available table, threw said menus on the table and left. All without saying a single word. The waitress was no better and incredibly inattentive for an airport restaurant/diner. She said the bare-minimum to us and was just downright rude. Things only got worse when the food arrived. My girlfriend ordered the Santa Fe chicken burger. While it sounded delicious, it turned up RED RAW. We nearly threw up and I have my fingers crossed that my girlfriend doesn't get sick. Absolutely disgusting experience. The manager apologized and seemed authentic, but it doesn't make up for how poor the experience was. Avoid! read more

Silver Diner - Horrible experience. This was my first bite into the Santa Fe Chicken Burger. It was cold and completely undercooked. - Diners Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

If you are in BWI Airport and are looking for a GREAT breakfast this place is a must! They buy and use FRESH, LOCAL ingredients. You can taste the difference! It took a bit to get my order in, it's a busy airport after all, but my food came out quickly. My server was sweet, knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to enjoy serving. This will definitely be my go-to breakfast place when I find myself here again. read more

Really quite good for airport food, and they have a surprisingly large menu too. I stopped in for dinner as I had some time before a flight and was pretty happy with the whole experience. First, the menu is much bigger than what most airport places offer, and there are many healthy choices available. The whole back page is dedicated to healthy eating and lists calories, fat grams etc. You can get breakfast any time, which is also a nice feature. It's pretty much American Comfort food, so nothing too wild. If you're hustling to catch a flight there is an extensive grab + go section here too. Second, I didn't think restaurants could use real flatware anymore in airports, but I got a real knife and fork. Nothing worse than trying to use a plastic knife to cut meat, right? Third, the staff was really pleasant even though it was very busy. I didn't indulge in anything stronger than club soda, so I can't speak to drink pricing but I thought food prices were reasonable considering the airport setting. If you travel all the time like I do, you know that decent airport food is worth seeking out, so give Silver Diner a try if you're in BWI and have some time. read more

Surprisingly good. Wasn't very clean and the service was just ok. The chicken fingers were overcookeed. Surprisingly, the crab cakes weren't terrible and the lemon cake we got was pretty tasty. For airport food this wasn't a bad place to stop and grab a bite. I'd eat here again if I stopped through the airport. read more

If Michael is your bartender, just leave. Have been sitting at the bar for 25 minutes waiting for a glass of wine. And it is not busy.

I ordered the farmers breakfast. All was good except the home fries, which were overcooked. He had the club, which was good except the toast was slightly black. I could smell burning toast twice while we are. read more

Went to a wedding and had a flight at BWI three hours after I cleared security with my husband. We asked around where there was a good spot to hang and get some good food. Silver Diner was highly recommended, and so we headed in that direction. Man, this is THE spot to get rid of a hangover after a great night of partying...and not to mention before getting on a flight. I got the special that included pancakes, eggs, and choice of breakfast meat (I opted for the chicken sausage, which was tasty as heck), and my hubby got a caprese sandwich and a bowl of veggie chili. We didn't hold back lol...and it was really good. I'd def go back if I had a 2 hr plus wait for a flight. read more

Back on the road again and needing breakfast before the flight. So I have eaten at this location before but this morning they showed what they are made of. They tout themselves as a Diner! So how do you not know how to make simple Poached Eggs? Wait I know the answer according to the manager "I only have two burners on the stove and I am cooking on the grille". SAY WHAT! I don't think so cowboys and girls, I over heard the server tell the cooks what I wanted the second time and they all looked like deer in headlights and then acted like this was a foreign cooking process. So in short this was not a good idea, how do you run a business in a busy airport on a two burner stove? If you got a grill (flat top) put a soup holding pot on the grill set up the water to poach the eggs "Problem Solved". But Wait! You first need to know how to do this so in this instance stick with what you know "Omelets, and Fried Eggs". Leave the hard cooking methods to us home cooks! One last word on this - don't ask for guacamole because they only know it as the mashed up Avocados. Just saying you've been warned. read more
