    Fried whiting
    Tola O.

I have been hearing about this sandwich for months on social media and finally stopped in to try one! I tried to call my order in but their phone was not going thru so I had to walk in to order. The cashier was nice when I asked what toppings were options and she read thru every single one! I ended up with fried whiting and LTO special sauce (don't miss this!), fried onions and honey with American cheese (you have options of American and cheddar, one other I can't remember) It was buzn!!!!! I ate every bite!!!!!! It was so so good! Highly recommend! I got fries with it but those were forgettable so I recommend sandwich only. I'll be back!

So according to TikTok this place has the best fish sandwich in the Baltimore ..AND WHEN I SAY ITS A FACT! The double Whitting sandwich with special sauce is the best thing by far ! The fish is perfectly seasoned ... the sandwich is just right . Located on the corner and with less than a 16 minute wait , I'll definitely return ! The place inside is very small with no seating room. The service is pleasant and quick .

Solid breakfast carryout with other food options. Very affordable as well. My family wanted breakfast sandwiches and I decided to give J&M's a try. They are black owned and located not too far from mt Vernon. The lady that took my order was nice and friendly and they use fresh ingredients you can see them making your food as you wait. The waiting space is a bit small with only one chair so recommend you wait in your car or call in advance. We ordered 4 breakfast sandwiches 1 cinnamon bagel egg cheese bacon - 4.5/5 1 everything bagel egg cheese bacon - 3.75/5 1 plain bagel egg sausage - 3.75 1 croissant egg cheese bacon - 3.5/5 Mind you this was all under $25.

This is strictly a carry out. They do have 2 seats if you have to sit at a counter to eat. It seems that people mainly order over the phone or in person and grab their food to go. They do have a one person restroom to use as well. I tried calling in my order several times and I could never get through. It amazed me that while I was in the establishment the counter person picked up the phone and took an order. My brother recommended this place and treated me to a Crabcake and fish sandwich. The sandwich does not come with any sides and was $16 for a 5 ounce crabcake and two pieces of Whiting. I was not impressed at all. The crabcake did not taste good and my whiting was not hot and fresh. This really surprised me because I waited the 15 minutes in the establishment for my food to be ready. I literally pulled over three minutes after getting in the car from receiving my order and took a bite of the sandwich. I was told this place is known for their fish sandwich and maybe I should've just got straight fish because that crabcake was really bad to me. Nothing tasted fresh and I could've done without this food. The young lady who took my order was pleasant enough for this type of establishment. This place was definitely one and done.

Hi! I saw this business on Tiktok and although it was a bit of a drive, my cousins and I wanted to fry the fish sandwich. The line nor the wait was bad. The server was kind, pleasant. The establishment looked cleaned and calm. The staff seemed to have everything under control! The sandwich was pretty big. I ate half and saved half, it was really good. The fries were ok, they could have cooked longer however! they were hot . I will go back ! Fyi..Street parking!

    Cheesefish sandwich (tilapia)

I'm torn on this place. I went here for the viral fish sandwich. There were a few people in front of me, but the wait time was short. I ordered the tilapia fish sandwich with lettuce, mayo, fried onions and cheese; a Rotisserie leg quarter; and 10 honey Old Bay wings with fries. First, the fish sandwich... it was humongous! But there was only one little square of cheese on it, a few pieces of shredded lettuce and NO ONIONS (that I ordered) ughh!!! The fish was ok but definitely could've been seasoned more. The party wings tasted different. My daughter didn't like them, but I did. They were not crispy, but kinda soft. I don't like hard wings. So, they worked for me. The fries that came with them looked old and wrinkled and there were pieces of the fried chicken grease in them. Idk if that was intentional or not. We didn't eat them. The leg quarter was also interesting because it looked fully cooked but the meat was a little hard to pull off the bone. Perhaps it just needed to be hot. However, the seasoning was among the best I've tasted in a while. The customer service was good and although I don't really consider this a rave review, I would certainly give them another try.

Came here on a Wednesday afternoon. Big Keish sent me to try the fish sandwich, and I did just that. When you walk in the place is fairly small, but cozy. Lots of items on the menu to try. Markiya was at the front and she was super sweet. She ran down the menu for me, and made a couple recommendations. I got the seafood salad, and of course, the fish sandwich. You have a choice between catfish and whiting. I got catfish with lettuce, tonatoes, onions, cheese and extra tartar sauce. And boyyyy it did not disappoint. The fish was actually seasoned, and the sandwich itself was huge. Markiya recommended the "blue drink", which was blue raspberry lemonade. It tasted just like old school kool aid. 10/10. The seafood salad was also delicious. Even with a good amount of orders ahead of me, I waited less than 20 min. Im not in Baltimore a lot, but you can bet this will be a stop when I return. Thanks again Markiya for your recommendations and awesome customer service.

    Fried catfish sandwich

The woman who took my order was very patient and helpful! Everything was correct so customer service A+ in my opinion. The catfish sandwich was delicious! Seasoned, fresh and hot! Next time I will omit lettuce because the heat from the fish aged it faster than Caucasian skin. Parking is challenging but I found a spot. Pack your patience too, I noticed a few people getting irritated with the wait but everything is made fresh to order. Overall 8.5/10!!!

I waited 20 minutes for this omelette, and unfortunately, it did not justify either the wait or the $17 price tag. The presentation was sloppy, with ingredients spilling out and unevenly cooked eggs. The omelette appeared rushed rather than freshly and carefully prepared. For $17, I expected better quality, attention to detail, and at the very least a meal that looked complete and appetizing. Delays happen, but when there's a long wait, the food should make up for it -- this didn't. I was disappointed and would hesitate to order this again unless there's a noticeable improvement in both preparation and value.

I originally heard about this spot from Barstool Pizza and, even though I was about an hour away at the time, I decided it was worth the trip. I'm really glad I did. I ordered the Mushroom and Olive pizza, and honestly, it was so good I almost finished the entire large by myself. The flavors were incredible, the crust was just right, and you can really taste the quality and care that goes into every bite. If you're ever anywhere near Baltimore, this place is an absolute must-try. I love supporting small, family-owned businesses like this, and Tiny Brick Oven truly deserves the recognition. I have been wanting to try the pizza for over a year and finally I did. I walked in and the owner Will was super friendly and asked me my name. He asked me what I liked and I said cheese. I do like pepperoni and sausage but sometimes they are salty for me. Will suggested I get two slices of cheese and a drink and I said that sounds good. He also let me try the gelato and the caramel gelato was really good. I didn't get gelato this time but I will in my next visit. The pizza was crispy and thin and not salty. How I like my NY style pizza. I will definitely be back cause I found the best pizza in Maryland and its been a long time since I have had a great pizza.

He thought the filling was tasty and enjoyed the sauce. Their red sauce is a more chunky sauce with onions which I did not taste because I'm not a fan, but he would get it again. I'm still looking for a smooth sauce for some chicken parm, but no worries since the menu here has plenty of different sauce options! I enjoyed the chicken francese. The chicken was very tender and it was a generous portion. I felt it could have used a bit more flavor, but the sauce was a nice consistency and the linguine was cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed the complimentary rolls that came with the meal. Overall, I enjoyed this spot and will try more items in the future!

I had ordered ahead via Toast, grabbing a cheesesteak on a seeded roll with extra meat, onions and a light spread of mayo--assuming the seeded roll would be very crusty & rigid and need the spread to moisten it a bit. I was wrong! The roll housing the fillings was perfectly soft and able to contain all of the meat juices and cheese throughout the sandwich. I got a 9" small with extra meat assuming that's how they're presented on their social media page, and it's more than enough for one person. I'd recommend NOT getting extra meat unless you're coming with a huge appetite! I've never had a proper cheesesteak in my life until today. Truly deserving of the awards they've received. All of the baked goods displayed on the counter entice you to indulge in a sweet treat before ordering a pizza. My first visit I just settled on some cookies and a jalapeno cheddar bagel, since I was on my way elsewhere for dinner. But let me tell you how the chocolate chip cookie instantly became one of my favorite bakery cookies. And the bagel was decadent for my morning breakfast, covered in cheddar cheese with those crispy edges that bake at the base of the bagel.
