Every time I come to Baltimore I have my man go straight to Goldie's, I love their Salmon & Crab pasta. Lately we've been giving this location a try, the food hits the same & you get a little more on your plate. The service on the other hand I would just say if you are calling in your order just confirm that it's correct before you leave ! The food was a1 10/10 I had the loaded potato shrimp chicken broccoli crabmeat in a rough area but if you from Baltimore you already know customer service could use a bit brushing up worker head in the phone whole time so I rate customer service a sold 8 only because late night service kind of dry. On our way home from work, my husband and I decided to have Goldies from dinner. We normally order from the location on Reisterstown Road, but the newest location is closer, so we decided to order from here. I am not sure how long this location has been open, but the other location is definitely my preferred spot. I am no stranger to hood spots, the normally have the best food, but the characters and the activity on the block of North Ave was a bit much! I placed my order through Grubhub and received a message that it was being prepared and would be ready in 20 minutes. While I didn't time it, I am pretty sure that my order took 45 to an hour instead. When I got my food home, one of my quesadillas was not in the bag and the parts of the order I did receive were cold. I am confused as to why it took so long, but my food wasn't handed to me hot or complete. The quality of the food at this location is not as good as their first one. It lacked seasoning and wasn't prepared the same. Maybe this visit was just a fluke or a new location just needing some time to get settled, but I will definitely be patronizing the other location instead of this one. read more

The experience here was not a pleasant one I ordered breakfast here a couple weeks ago on a Saturday morning. While I'm waiting I see people from off the street just walking behind the counter and go into the warmer and get their food. Then I see the another person off the street go into the kitchen. Just because you friendly with the women that work there they should not be behind the counter. These are the same boys that be out front selling illegal substances. These guys just have the right to walk in and be around other patrons food no telling where there hands been it's clearly a health code violation. Goldies West location ! Why is Tira working on the food without gloves on ? She has long nails which are not clean as she is handling food . Joe Ball the cook fingernails are dirty but he is taking the food right off the grill with his bare hands ?
