Harbor Grille, located in Concourse C, has been recently been added as a Priority Pass "lounge", which is the only reason I'll go. Service is so slow and is the worst. It's like the servers all have a short term memory loss. I constantly have to flag the servers for something and as soon as they turn around, they forget and then I'll have to ask again. The first time I was here, it took 20 minutes to pay. The second time I was here, they brought out a completely different burger and then told me she had to check with the kitchen and then didn't come back for another 15 minutes, and then kept forgetting to bring other things. They were busy for an early Thursday afternoon but the hostess was pulling double duty and seating people and cleaning tables she was hustling. I love seeing young people put some effort into work so I even tipped her $15 and told her I appreciate her. My server Jason was also on top of it quickly coming to people and taking orders and getting their food to the table. This airport restaurant is not the place to go if in a rush, which is everyone is an airport. It took 10 minutes to wait for a table. Some people waited much longer. The staff members had to serve as bouncers since they didn't have nearly enough staff to handle all of the tables. There was 1 server / fake bouncer and 2 bar tenders. It was pretty quick to get a beer but 20 minutes to order food. 45 since ordered we got the Thai Salmon $23. Another 10 for our other entree which was clearly sitting we got the Greek salad $15 (no meat). We were told a couple times it would be done soon for many minutes later without anything. 15 minutes to pay the check. The table next to us literally grabbed one piece of his food with a napkin and left the rest because he needed to leave. There is about 12 bar spots (you will have to wait), 30 tables (less of wait), and 10 booths. The tables, counter tops, and floors are all white. But it looks nice enough. I always have had bad experiences with airport restaurants, but I still dine at those restaurants because of the priority pass perk. Upon showing up to the hostess stand, you can see three different servers scurrying around. Clearly they were understaffed with every single table and seat at the bar full. One of the servers finally took the time to inform us that they will not be seating any new customers for the next 30 minutes so that the kitchen can get a breather. We had all day so my gf and I waited. 30 minutes later, we were seated at one of the booths. Our assigned server took a good 15 minutes to finally get to us and take our order. We ordered the Loaded Tater Tots ($12) and Boneless Buffalo Chicken ($14) to start. The Loaded Tater Tots consisted of pulled pork, melted cheddar cheese, Sriracha, and avocado aioli, so this was not your ordinary loaded tots. This was surprisingly good. The Boneless Buffalo Chicken is pretty standard chicken tenders tossed in a sauce of your choice. As our entree, we ordered the Crab Cake ($29) and that was also surprisingly really good as well. The fries, usually somehow airport restaurants screw up, was done well. One final advice is to get your check immediately as soon as you are served all of your food. You will have to chase down someone or go to the bar to ask someone for the check. Also, this restaurant needs to hire more people as clearly they are super understaffed. read more

When stock was brought up and the question of is there something on the cart the response was 'you can walk a mile to get it'. Located super close to the gate and had a couple hours to kill, it wasn't packed and I hadn't eaten all day so seemed like a good place to grab a bite. The menu seemed to have a nice mix of options with price points all over the place. I settled on a burger and the waitress took so long to make her way over that I'd talked myself out of and back into the burger like 3 times. When she did show up to take my order, I'd decided on soup- but they were out of it, and then a couple more options, and when I defaulted back to the burger with extra pickles, I was told they were completely out of pickles. Add-on's were something like $1.50 a piece, I was hoping they'd offset the price of grilled onions or something since service was already visibly slow and now half the menu needing tweaks but no luck. A burger and fries took 30 minutes to come out, the brioche bun was pretty tasty but such an overly greasy burger. By the time I was down to the last few bites (that I could manage) the bread was completely soaked through. I left about 1/4 of that $15 burger behind and had to wait another 15 minutes to cash out. 4 stars for a solid BWI sports bar. When I'm flying out of Terminal C in BWI, I often stop by Harbor Grille. This spot has a pretty good set up with a variety of TVs showing games, a solid food and drink menu, and service that pays attention and (most importantly) gets you the check right away when you need to head out to your flight. I've had problems at other airport venues getting timely food and checks, so finding a spot that provides quality and speed is a major plus in my book. In terms of what food, I generally order the crab cakes. There are other venues at BWI that offer A+ crab cakes worth checking out if you have lots of time, but this spot's A- crab cakes are quite solid and hit the spot for a relatively fair (for an airport) price. Overall, if you are looking for a spot to grab a bite in Terminal C, feel free to give Harbor Grille a look. read more

The best option for dinner in Terminal C, raised over the rest of the terminal area with a wall around to give diners some privacy and a more "restauranty" feel. Unfortunately, our server told us that the kitchen was out of several ingredients (we were disappointed but still understood considering we came to dinner at 9:00 PM) and that their oven was malfunctioning all day. (I assume this will be fixed soon, but as of 4/6/23 it is down). Our server, Ashleigh, was great. She remembered all of our orders without having to write it down and she was very friendly. I know the Harbor Grille is understaffed but the people who do work here are very good at their jobs. If you are looking to use your Priority Pass at the restaurant, they only accept one per table. We have 2 passes amongst 4 people with a member and a guest loaded onto each, but we could only redeem one. The food was nothing special, but it was filling and hit the spot after a long day of traveling. The Harbor Grille is certainly expensive for the quality of food served, but after a long travel we were willing to pay for our only "real" meal of the day. I am docking a couple of stars due to the price, the kitchen issues, and the fact that the restaurant itself was dirty, with crumbs and wrappers strewn about the floor. Also, the lamps were flickering for our entire meal, making it hard to see. Overall, a pretty decent restaurant and it worked perfectly for our flight situation. read more
