this place is a good place that has good food and views. the only downfall is they change out the food and i don't know if it's seasonal, but, they should bring back the brussel sprouts and cram of crab soup.

The venue and vibes are fantastic! It's a rooftop restaurant, that has both indoors and outdoors seating. It was so great seating outside and enjoying some amazing views of the city. I wish I had taken pictures of the views...just spectacular! I also love that they have two fireplaces upstairs with couches, so it was very cozy. I went for lunch and they have both a regular and seasonal menu. I got the shrimp scampi and it was excellent! Full of flavor, buttery, and perfectly cooked. Lunch prices are decent but certainly on the pricier side. My job paid so I didn't mind.

I found this place to be unique and enjoyable on two visits during my stay. It is pretty new and modern featuring an open layout with various spaces indoors and out. A lot of options (outdoor couch/TV, bar, tables). They have a sort of small menu, but enough to make you think a little. Portions are generous. We got chicken tenders (like six big pieces), a veggie wrap and a seasonal berry salad. Very fresh. I liked that they snuck a bit of balsamic vinegar into the wrap along with guac... unusual but pleasant surprise. They are very friendly and hospitable here! They gladly took the almonds off the salad and worked magic to get our food order in at closing time the first night. Oh and a lot of local people have their parties and events here which is a good sign although it can slow things down a little.

2 stars for good views and good music. The $15 cover charge is a little lame. This is not a club lol. Also there's miscommunication about when happy hour ended. Initially told 11PM but then that changed to 8PM. Womp. Bartenders need to get it together as well. You have to form a single file line (like we did in kindergarten) to order a drink. And this is with three bartenders! And it still took forever to get a drink. Oh and there's no cocktail menu. Womp. OH! And they put a bunch of "reserved" signs on sections and tables trying to make the place look exclusive. My group and I sat in a "reserved" section that wasn't reserved for us and we weren't moved lol.

All food was excellent: impossible burger, crab and Shrimp alfredo; salad with balsamic. Nice atmosphere and good views of sunset

This was my first time at this establishment. Nice atmosphere. Very clean. And the service staff was very hospitable. We came to celebrate a friends birthday. However, $50 for Sunday Brunch is outrageous considering what we received. This is not the brunch we'd expect for the price. The salmon taste like it's a frozen patty. The eggs are liquid or powdered eggs. Why not real shelled eggs if this is considered an upscale brunch? And the waffles and French toast tastes as if they are frozen. The potatoes were just ok. To have to pay an additional $14 for an omelet is insane to me. I'd think there would be an omelet station or something like that. A buffet would've felt like we got something for the money we paid. And we had to choose limited options. To pay extra for what most places would include was disturbing. It's disappointing to know that this business is black owned. Why the price gouge for mediocre food.

Wonderful food. I had the black ones salmon with sautéed spinach and rice pilaf. The lemon butter sauce was so good. Ruined my diet, but worth it. Ambiance is nice on the rooftop. Service was a little slow, but they had a large party come in. Would definitely recommend

Looking for a quaint rooftop bar? Look no further! They have couches, high tops, tables, and a great happy hour with amazing crispy fries. Take the express elevator straight up to the penthouse and enjoy a nice glass of rosé before fall rolls around.

I came here for Happy Hour with a few friends. Totally loved the view. A small oasis in East Baltimore. While here I gnoshed on the Brussel Sprouts, Wings and Crab & Corn Fritters. All very delicious. I will say that during the height of happy hour, service was kind of lackluster. Our tables server went MIA for a second. I understand being swamped. I tried to go to the bar where the bartender completely ignored me and a friend for about 10 mins. Then upon getting his attention, he said he'd be a moment. Ummm that ended up being another 10. Not good. When he finally waited on me he said something about having to sit at the bar to get service. I totally understand if you want to give your servers some shine but, if their not on...what's a patron to do? It's kind of wack you can't just walk to the bar for quick drink. Not sure if this is standard policy or bartender attitude. Either way, I wasn't here for it. Drinks and food are good and reasonably priced. Though I think they should offer their oysters on happy hr.

The atmosphere is good, but the food mediocre and service could be better. It's a rooftop venue which makes it nice. I'll give it a 7 for venue. I had fettuccini Alfredo

Went for a birthday event! Super nice and cozy. Date night vibes and just to hang out in general with family and friends. The food is decent, I thought you would have more choices but that what this have is fine. Wings are bomb ! Enjoyed the night, wish we could've went on the balcony! For Dinner I had fish tacos, wings and French fries... ugh the fries were skinny and cold

new fashioned, because for some reason they couldn't make me an old fashioned
    Alex L.

Mediocre-priced cocktails in an establishment that awkwardly bridges restaurant and bar. Service was initially very responsive but difficult to keep track of. You will be assigned to a table, especially if you are in a relatively larger group. Would recommend making a reservation ahead of time to expedite the process of being let up the elevator. Although the view is great, the balcony area is also densely filled with tables, making it less convenient to approach the edge.

So it cost me $10-15 to for a plastic takeout container. Had I not looked at the customer copy of the bill I would have not only not known but I would have tipped based on the total which already included the additional gratuity charge (which was not disclosed on the merchant copy). This is so unnecessary and ruined what would have been a good experience. They said it was a "sharing charge" which I have experienced and applies when u have another diner with you and u decide to split an entree. Had they disclosed I would at least had the option to finish the meal. The saying "stepping over dollars to pick up pennies " seems to apply as this left such a bad taste I doubt I will return despite the fact the crab cake was delicious and the loaded baked potato was average (hardly loaded) Beware of the hidden gratuity for take home leftovers!!! Update to above: I did follow up with Angie this morning and she was very kind and offered to credit back my card for the extra gratuity. She also explained that I was misled about the "sharing charge" but they do automatically add 15% gratuity regardless of party size or quality of service. So I would give 4 stars for the food quality and 1 star for the way in which they present and charge gratuity. Tipping should remain at the discretion of the diner based on service and food quality otherwise just get rid of tipping and raise your prices

Seating: Indoor seating with room for about 20 people inside the market. Vibes: You're right in the heart of Old Town / Fells Point -- the touristy but charming part of Baltimore. I dig the vintage brick roads, the historic feel, and the mix of locals and visitors passing through. The space sits inside a lively market (1640 Aliceanna St) with that true Baltimore seafood vibe -- casual, approachable, and full of movement. It's not fine dining; it's flavor-first, no-nonsense, and welcoming. Great for a quick grab-and-go or to sit down for a casual meal. FOOD/DRINKS: Crab Soup (A-Ok) Simple but hearty. It reminded me of a tomato-based soup with crab mixed in -- nothing too fancy, but warm and satisfying. I appreciated the richness and good amount of crab meat. I'm more of a clam chowder fan, so next time I might go that route, but this was still solid. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Quick, friendly, and efficient. The staff clearly know what they're doing and keep things moving without losing that personal touch. TL; DR OVERALL: 4 Stars. Good prices, solid flavors, and a classic Baltimore seafood feel. Sal and Son's Seafood isn't flashy, but it's genuine -- a go-to for a comforting bowl and a true local experience. I'll be back to try their other dishes next time I'm in the area. It's probably because one meal was simple (crab cake sandwich, fries), and the other may have taken longer to cook to order (shrimp and chicken jambalaya). The shrimp and chicken jambalaya was also executed well. Also, I highly recommend trying the fresh fruit drinks. We got watermelon and pineapple, and "refreshing" doesn't begin to describe how good they were. The service was straightforward and to the point, which works for me. The establishment is located inside of a market. We went on a Sunday, so this was one of the few eateries open. I'm imagining that it is probably more jumping on other days. If I'm in Baltimore again, I'll definitely consider visiting again and exploring more of the menu.

Being ambitious, we did ask the server to leave the menu behind, just in case. There was so much deliciousness to choose from But alas, we were satiated. To drink, we skipped the bottomless Mimosa and Bloody Mary and opted instead for a Blood Orange Margarita (which was more berry-like in color) and a Passion Fruit Mezcal Sour. That alone felt wild, because everything about this place deserved a packed house. The bartender was fantastic friendly, attentive, and clearly knew her stuff. It was happy hour, so I ordered a peach tea crush and my friend got an orange crush. She even asked whether we wanted soda water or Sprite, which is such a small detail but something I'm never asked and it made the drinks even better. Both were absolutely delicious. Now let's talk food, because wow. I ordered the half & half soup (half Maryland crab soup, half cream of crab), and it was hands-down the best crab soup I've ever had. I'm not exaggerating it was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. So good that we later came back for soup to go, and then also DoorDashed soup that night because we realized we were going to want more. That should tell you everything. I also got the lobster roll with crab and bacon fries, and I'm still thinking about it. Unreal. My friend ordered the pan-seared rockfish with loaded mashed potatoes, and her meal was just as incredible. Everything came out fast, hot, and beautifully prepared. The restaurant itself is gorgeous clean, comfortable, stylish, and welcoming. Every staff member we interacted with was helpful and kind, and the whole experience felt effortless. Yes, prices are a little on the higher side but this is seafood, and nothing felt shocking or out of line for the quality you're getting. Completely worth it. What really blew my mind was that when we stopped back later, it still wasn't busy maybe 10-20 people total, on a Thursday night in Fells Point. Absolutely baffling.
