Obrycki's Restaurant & Bar @ BWI offers a full bar and full restaurant menu. You. An find some pretty reasonable prices, which surprised me. Breakfast from $17 and up, apps from $16, crab soup $9 or $15, salads from $14, handhelds from $16, plates from $23. Yelp Review 2026 #184: I've been to Obrycki's inside BWI airport a few times for layovers. I always get anything with crab since that's what Maryland is known for. It is a casual seafood restaurant located near gate B9. Their crab cakes are good. However, you can't get it à la carte. It always comes with 2 slices. My most recent visit here was yesterday when I had a 2-hour layover. The person who gave me the menu and took my order was pretty rude and unfriendly. I asked her a simple question and she responded with attitude. I just got an appetizer so I could go somewhere else. I got the Deviled Crab Balls and they were good. It's just a shame the service sucks. The young lady who brought my drink and gave me my check was super nice though. read more

Having a layover in Baltimore with limited time, we were in search of a restaurant that served crab. Doing a quick Google search, we found this restaurant located right inside the airport. We started off with a couple appetizers. We definitely couldn't go back home without trying a crab cake. Unfortunately, there isn't a single crab cake option as an appetizer, but our server informed us the Deviled Crab Balls are the exact same recipe, just shaped into balls. These were disappointing. They were soft on the outside and mush on the inside. They reminded me of the frozen ones you would find at any supermarket, just deep fried. We also opted in for their Maryland Crab Soup which was also a disappointment. The flavours of the soup overpowered the taste of the crab. The crab was also shredded and not in lump pieces which reminded me of tined crab. For mains, I ordered the Jumbo Lump Crab Roll. It was nice to see this crab wasn't shredded and were good sized lumps. The only complaint here is I found the crab mixture to be too wet. Less aioli would have made the crab shine through but once again, the flavour of crab is muddled. This came with a side which I opted in for the cheese grits. This was a shock, it was crusty grits with shredded cheese thrown on top. Not even melted or incorporated into the grits. For her, she ordered the Quesadilla with chicken which was a greasy mess inside a tortilla. The crab ought to be the highlight of everything we ate but the flavours were close to non-existent which is a shame since this restaurant prides itself on crab. We found this restaurant to be overpriced but what isn't inside an airport? The only saving grace for our experience here is the service. We found her to be a pleasure, professional and hospitable. read more

I chose O'Brycki's because it was recommended by a TSA agent. I went to the one on Concourse B. I bellied up to the bar & the bartender was nice (but curt). The patrons were fantastic. The musical great and the seats comfortable. Since I was on the eastern seaboard, I tried the crabcakes. It was delicious. The bun was optional. The grits were mediocre. Overall I'm glad I stopped. Now on to the next leg! read more

Crab balls were spectacular. Crab roll was a little too buttery and the roll seemed a little past its prime. Service was quick and friendly and I did not have to wait long for food or drink. Place was clean and busy with travelers. For sure a good choice if you have time to stop. read more

My late grandmother was from Maryland and was the undisputed queen of crabcakes. So when I saw this place on a long layover at BWI, I was jazzed. Plus, one of the greatest crab cake places I've ever been to, G&M, is just a few miles from the airport; my ex has literally flown cross-country from California just to eat there. This is not that. For 36 bucks, I would expect more than a silver dollar-sized cake. But far more disappointing was the quality of the meat - it smelled and tasted fishy. Should've sent it back after the first bite. The slaw was disgusting; I almost spit it out. The "cheese grits" were just ... grits, on top of which somebody had sprinkled a pinch of pre-shredded cheddar straight from the bag. Y'all, Maryland may not really be the South, but that is not how to prepare cheese grits. They need TLC. Even the tartar sauce was disgusting! I do have to shout out the server, who was friendly and prompt. But aside from that, this was probably the single-worst airport meal I've ever had, anywhere. #Fail. read more

Airports restaurants can be a hit or miss. The decor gave typical seafood restaurant which isn't a bad thing. It's familiarity. It was convenient to my gate, an added plus. I didn't want anything heavy nor a lot of food since I was prepping to board my flight. Being a Southern girlie, I noticed the shrimp and grits but I'm weary of that dish outside of being home in the Lowcountry. So I opted for a bowl of cheesy grits. It's a seat yourself restaurant and it took a while for me to be greeted or served but my server did apologize. She was super friendly and we even struck up a conversation. My grits came HOT as they should and creamy. They were a little different tasting like maybe heavy cream or milk were used (I'm not a fan of using either in my grits.) but nevertheless they weren't horrible. read more

We had a short layover in Baltimore and we just had to get some crab cakes. This place was solid, not amazing but what do you expect from airport food? The grits were actually really good as well and the tater tots were super crunchy. The kids love that the most. Food comes out quick and they have a big table in the back for our whole family which was shocking. One of the better spots at the airport. read more

They have mice running around the place and when the middle aged blonde lady (im assuming is the manager) was very dismissive and blamed another restraunt when they were clearly running around their floors. She was extremely rude and didnt want to hear anything me or another person was trying to tell her! read more

Really wanted a crab roll but I took a red eye flight and was not hungry. But I really wanted to try the crab so my server recommended their Deviled crab balls. She says they're spicier than how they usually season their crab cakes but it's a smaller portion so I went for it and I'm glad I did. There's only 4 crab balls but they were really good and not dry. It came with red cocktail dipping sauce that has some horseradish that complimented them well. Served on a bed of lettuce with no dressing. It was the perfect snack. Great place to hang out if you have time to kill and they have plenty of plug outlets at the bench seating. read more

Legitimately the worst restaurant experience I have had in 5 or so years. Beer, CO2 was out. Margarita was atrocious. Grits were embarasssubg. Caesar was a bagged salad from Walmart. I have never had a worse eating experience in an airport. Never again. Catfished by a seafood restaurant feels aggressive. read more

Very good food considering we are in an airport terminal. I ordered the Raspberry Palmer and the Baltimore club sandwich. The sandwich consists of lump crab cake, shrimp salad, bacon, slaw on a burger roll. Very good. Busy restaurant in Baltimore airport but service moves fast as you would expect. Location is busy and loud due to environment. Decent sized bar as well. Give it a try during your lay over. read more

I'd give it a 3.5. My son ordered the crab cake sandwich and enjoyed it because he was hungry and really wanted to try it. But, was it worth the $38... no, but if you want a simple sandwich with good friendly service then I'd say give it a try. Oh, and you can't bring in outside food. My younger son had subway and had to eat it in the gate. read more

Julius my server today was great! I had a long layover so I stayed in the restaurant most of the time I was at BWI. WHENEVER YOURE IN MARYLAND GET A CRAB CAKE (preferably lump crab cakes) I ordered the crab Benedict with potato tots. Which were two mini crab cakes and hollandaise sauce, egg in English muffins. Delicious!! I had mimosas! Nice pour. I would eat here again at gate B if I had to! Enjoyed it. read more

To start... I'm at the airport for 8 hour layover and we have been watching mice crawl out of the walls and all over the chairs and tables at this location. Multiple people have been sitting at the tables throughout the night. My sister and myself went over as well. Just so happens we were the last ones there and instead of nicely asking us to move she starts right off with an attitude. Before we left I thought I would be nice and tell her she has mice coming out of her walls and she blames it on Dunkin across the way. Again we watched them for hrs coming out of their walls. Airport food sucks. But this place doesn't A few options but layover in Baltimore. So we indulged a bit. Staff was friendly. Ambiance was good. Clearly overpriced but that's airport food. But I air. The broiled crab was so delicious. Tots were toasty. Veggies steamed and fresh. Staff again made it fun. Well worth it. Would recommend. read more

Had an extended layover, but not long enough to go off campus for one of my favorite places, so I decided to give Obrycki's a shot. Glad I did! I had the Maryland crab soup, and crabcake with tater tots and a Caesar salad. My preference is for creamy she crab soup, but their rendition of the red Maryland version was pretty good. Where the plate shined was with their crabcake. I would not expect to have a crabcake of that quality in an airport! Add to that a perfectly crispy tater tot and nicely dressed Caesar salad, and you've got a perfect meal! My server, Cristen, was wonderfully attentive and cheerful. My husband and I had a 2 hr layover at BWI yesterday evening and decided to stop into Obrycki's for a quick bite and a drink. It was conveniently located on the concourse between the gate where we landed and gate B3, where our connecting flight was boarding. We were greeted warmly and sat immediately. Goldie was our server and she was fast and fun. We ordered the crab soup and some deviled crab balls. Surprisingly, the soup was spicier than the balls, which were advertised as being spicy, but were not. I was a little disappointed by that and I felt that the crab balls deserved its own dipping sauce, like a remoulade, but it was served with cocktail and tartar sauce. The cocktail sauce was just ok with the balls. There really isn't much ambiance being that this place is located smack-dab in the middle of an airport, but we appreciated the fast, friendly service. The GM even stopped by our table to ensure that everything was good. They had lots of crab options. If I come there again, I'm definitely trying the warm crab dip! One thing that brought their rating down was the prices. We ordered two appetizers and two alcoholic beverages. Our bill was $100. That brought the rating down a bit. read more

Feel like I've been on a bit of a less than five star roll here lately. I went here for a quick breakfast after looking at all the options in terminal A-C. This seemed like the most interesting. I got the breakfast with eggs, cheese grits, English muffin and a crab cake. It was like 35.00. I know it's the airport, but that's crazy business. Crazy. The crab cake was pretty good but I just can't get over how mediocre the whole thing was for that amount of money. Next time I'd go to the diner or Chick-fil-A. read more

Stopped by here while at BWI. Got the sparkling guava margarita which was absolutely horrible. I had to ask for more guava puree in mine. The drink was not shaken so it tasted like something different with every sip. I also had the shrimp tacos which was equally as bad. The shrimp had little to no flavor and the taco was drenched in some sauce which was supposed to give it flavor. I barely touched the tacos. The service was just okay as I sat by the bar. I might have been better off eating at a fast food place across the hall. read more

Located at the Baltimore, Maryland airport. Stopped here for a drink and a quick entree since our flight was delayed. Tried a broiled crab cake for the first time. Always had them fried. Broiled my new crab cake fave. Lots of packed crab meat flavor and fresh. Waitress was busy but managed to pay attention and make sure she took care of us. She was great! Also had the tots. If you like crab cakes this spot is legit. Is it pricey- yes. But we split a double crabcake meal with 2 sides for about $50. When your travel requires some real food and your wallet is able- go for it. Great Bloddy Mary too. read more

Doesn't deserve 3.5 stars! Oh, not the meal you want before a looong flight. Food: I wanted crab and am gluten free, so ended up with crab basted in mayo on salad. It was not the fresh, lumpy, lightly seasoned crabmeat I was hoping for. Instead, it was drenched and I'm not sure how fresh. Fries were also disappointing (maybe a little stale?). At $30, or any price point really, just so sad. Service: We had to ask the hostess multiple times to ask about allergies before deciding to eat there, and I wish we'd taken that as a hint to walk away. Our waitress was nice enough but wasn't very attentive and didn't check on our satisfaction. Maybe because she knew it was low? Ambiance: Pub vibes in an airport. Dark, older/traditional. Not very full despite restaurant style seating. Again, maybe these were hints I missed. Edible but just barely. So disappointing- especially at an unreasonably high price point. Hope this helps the restaurant to better and travelers to make informed decisions in the meantime. read more

this used to be my favorite spot for a drink while waiting to depart. today 6/29/25, 2:29 in the afternoon I encountered the rudest bartender EVER! I ordered a double Makers , and a coke. to me that's pretty clear but apparently i was not. fine, i'll do better but no, she makes a show by slinging the drink into a sink . she then tells me as she remakes the drinks that i had ordered incorrectly. she continues by walking up with the drink and informing me that she makes these drinks all day and that i should be specific when ordering. " lady! i'm sorry! i thought that i was" " move on! " not sure if her name was Melissa, Marissa or Medusa but I will definitely be on the lookout for her in the future. a simple miscommunication, overblown into a bad experience! read more

As I was having a layover at BWI, when in Maryland you have crab cakes. The Deviled Crab Cakes were pretty good. But that's where it stops. Not sure if it was a bad day, but the waitress was pretty rude to me. I could hear her make comments about me as she was walking back to the kitchen. Luckily you can go into the city and have better luck getting crab cakes. read more

My daughter and I had a short layover in at BWI and decided to grab a quick lunch at Obrycki's. It was self seating, so we sat at a two top near the bar. Joanna was our server and she was sweet. We ordered drinks and food. I had the shrimp and crab flatbread and she had the crispy shrimp tacos. The food came out in a decent amount of time and was well prepared and the presentation was regular. The food was good, nothing to rave about. I'm from Baltimore originally, so I know good quality seafood from these places. It's spacious and a nice spot to eat, drink and maybe get some work done on your computer while you wait for your flight. The service is good. read more

Amazing. Quality delicious food at an airport !!! I had the Maryland Crab Soup ($8.99 cup) and Jumbo Lump Crab Roll ($32.99). The soup was good but didn't have much crab. The Crab Roll was the highlight. Lots of mouth watering meaty crab chunks on a crunchy toasty roll. Delicious !!! Wow, it's not often that I get excited about a restaurant in an airport! There are a few airports I go to that mainly have local restaurants show up, but they are few & far between. I'm a sucker for crab cakes so when I was waiting for a layover in BWI (Baltimore IS known for their crabcakes), I had to try this out. My friend from Baltimore who is the biggest crabcake snob I know may have scoffed, but I really enjoyed it. It was much larger than I expected and the crab meat to loaf ratio was much better as well. I was a bit underwhelmed with the lack luster sides, but I was here for the crabcake sandwich and didn't go away disappointed. Service was quick and got an immediate seat - likely due to the crazy high prices. But again, it was an airport. The Blue Moon draft was a perfect companion and I left a happier, if poorer, person. read more

This was a quick no frills airport lunch but the crab cake was pretty good. It was kind of dense which I'm not used to but I could not deny the flavor was top notch. The service was quick and friendly and my food came out quick as well. This was recommended to me by a coworker and it did not disappoint! It's nice for airport food, it's a little expensive but that's to be expected. I will probably come again if my travels lead me through there! read more

Stopped here in the morning. The seating is seat yourself. Compared to other eateries this had more open seating. Looking at the menu I saw why the prices were pretty high. The menu had limited choices for breakfast but that was fine. I got the veggie omelette with cheesy grits. It came with English muffins. My server was super nice. The food came out quickly and the portions were huge. Everything tasted good nothing exceptional. The eggs were cooked a little longer than I liked - brown on top. Would I stop here again. This location is in BWI B-pier... Normally, I would give a great review because I've dined here several times but my last experience was not great. The crab cake is much smaller than I remember having before. The garnishing was not good. I literally got a handful of fries AND my food was cold. The cost is $28 for one sandwich and one side. Service was great even as it was getting late. She was very friendly and attentive. Her name was Chanel. The food was pretty good. The grits were amazingggg. The crab cake had nice lump crab with really a good tartar and cocktail sauce. The cake was a little dry for me and needed a little more flavor but with the sauces and grits it was delicious. They live very close to a location there, and we got pizza to go when I was visiting them one time maybe in 2022. The pizza was very good as I recall. Then, I saw there was a location of Primanti Bros. opening in Linthicum Heights near BWI Airport, the first location in the Baltimore-DC area. They were having a grand opening on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, where the 1st 100 customers were going to get free sandwiches for year. I live about 13 miles from here, and I toyed with the idea of trying to be one of the first 100. But I opted against as even if I got there at 6 AM for the 10 or 10:30, whatever grand opening time, and there's still no guarantee I'd be the 1st 100. And I'd be pissed that I drove all the way there and stood there for hours to get nothing in the end. Not to mention, I had work too (although on average probably slower due to also Juneteenth holiday), which I could do from out there to a certain extent. Ultimately, I had emailed them, and they said the 100th customer got there at approximately 4 AM that morning! That's insane. This place really has a cult following! Geez, was she the one who was high?!...just kidding, it's just one of those accidents that can happen being a server. She was apologetic. My friend took it with stride having a positive attitude.
