Stopped here when at BWI, had time to sit and eat, I had been before but it had been a minute, I enjoyed a blt, fries and a beer, all very tasty and hit the spot. It was busy, but my waitress was attentive! I'd visit again with some time :)

Located in Concourse A at BWI Airport, this spot serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a casual, seat-yourself. There's a host stand up front, but when we arrived no one was there, so we just grabbed a table and a server came by shortly after. We wanted something light before our next flight and ordered the Crabby Waffle Fries and Steak Bites. The food came out quickly, which was great. The fries had a generous topping of crab and cheddar cheese, though the cheese slightly overpowered the crab flavor and made the dish a bit saltier than expected. The steak bites, on the other hand, were flavorful and satisfying--just the right portion to hold us over. I also liked that they feature a solid selection of local Maryland beers, which I'll definitely try next time I'm flying through. Overall, it's a nice local option at the airport with prices you can expect being that it's at the airport and a good mix of Maryland beer and dishes.

What a wonderful surprise in a busy airport! Fantastic assortment of (their own) craft beers, decent wine selection and full bar. Atmosphere is pubby and relaxed, service huge step above the generic "hospitality " workers you find at a lot of airport joints. The real shocker is the food- fresh, got, and prepared on a flat top right in front of you. I had the steak quesadilla and it was insanely good. Thanks Flying Dog! You're my new BWI layover stop!

We had about 3 hours before our connecting flight, so we decided to get a sandwich and a beer while we waited. The beers were decent, the chicken sandwich was tasty and the waffle fries were good. We thought the prices were pretty reasonable for in the airport. The service was just okay. It took a long time to get our bill when we were finished with our meal, I finally had to go looking for our server. At least she was friendly.

Put that garlic aioli on EVERYTHING! Also nice to see them use a compostable cup, too.

Nicole & Alexia (?) were both so kind & friendly! I couldn't decide on which beer to have with my dinner and both servers were kind enough to bring me samples to taste, so I could find the "right one". Unfortunately, I wasn't really a fan of any, but I drank what I ordered. The star of my meal was the side of garlic aioli for my salad. I could have taken a whole bottle of that home & put it on everything from pizza to pierogi. I recommend this pit stop if you have time to burn while at BWI airport.

I have been craving a burger for a week now. A good burger. Not to fatty/greasy with good toppings. Instead of my usual crab balls from Oberick's, I had time to stop into Flying Dog. I've been through this airport too many times to count and always wanted to stop in. The Boss burger was great. I got it medium rare, which I recommend because it tastes better AND the beef is lean, so any other way would be too dry. The mac and cheese substitution seriously hit the spot. I have a long layover and need to work a little. There are outlets everywhere! I'm giving it a 5 because my waitress, Patricia, was amazing and took fantastic care of me. When people sit a while and you tips are important, it gets hard to keep checking, but she was amazing. Time permitting, I would definitely stop back in to try other things

I have had Flying Dog beers many years ago but recently I decided it was time to revisit this brewery's beers again. Steve and I had just one, the Snake Dog IPA. All in all it was a fairly solid IPA. It wasn't "too out there" but wasn't underwhelming either. This was a brewery that's been around since the early 1990's and all I can say is that the beer tastes like that period of time, before breweries exploded everywhere and every place , going in all kinds of directions with their beer recipes. And now the great shrinkage and brewery mergers happening now in post covid pandemic times is ushering in a new (but not necessarily exciting or good) era and history for craft beer. But more back to the beer experience, flavor features to look for in this beer are hoppy, sweet, strong and malty. The IPA is nice and smooth in body which makes it pleasant as far as the the body of the beer goes.

This is the new player at this airport and they are serving up hits. I was seated pretty quickly, and the airport was hoppppoping!! The tables are close together, so do not expect privacy and expect to make new friends. I made friends on my left and right. The couple on my left recommended the crabby fries and "the chicken sandwich isn't bad". Would you recommend to a friend? "Well it's airport food and it wasn't bad". The couple on my left, really enjoyed their burger. For my GF Friends, no GF buns, but you can do the crabby fries, or lettuce wrapped grilled chicken or burgers or one of the salads. . They cannot guarantee no cross contamination, so if this is a must for you, check out Nappa! I also appreciated their solid spirits list and strong showing of beers. I felt the service was super jolly! The speed is what I expect in an airport bar. Take a few minutes review the menu. The food comes out quick. Some dinners were annoyed and felt frustrated. However, these dinners are also the type that would likely have a problem with most anything. But, the servers handled this phenomenally!! Fantastic customer interaction! The atmosphere felt, well barish. Cuz it is.

Had a layover at Baltimore airport and decided to stop in. First off the place is cute , decent size. The place got crowded pretty fast. The waitress took our orders in a timely manner. I ordered the chicken salad wrap and my husband ordered a beer. My food came before his beer which seemed strange bc how can pouring a beer become faster than food being made. So we reminded the waitress in case she forgot about his beer. She rudely replied It's coming! We were shocked bc he didn't have an attitude when he said it, but she did. So we just said ok. I looked at the bar and noticed there was one little old lady, making all the drinks at the bar. And there was our waitress an older lady and one younger girl waiting the tables. So then we realize what the problem was . Then about 6 minutes later she threw him a few napkins and placed his beer on the table. Although she didn't deserve a tip, we still gave her a tip because maybe she was overwhelmed as to how slow the bar was taking to get her drinks. All in all my sandwich was delicious. Beer was fine. Maybe you need additional bar help.

Tiny burger for $20 - just nuts. It was okay, but no better than that.
    Tommy P.

Good service (thanks, Zandra!) beers and food were fine/decent (certainly not better than that), but pricing was really warm for what you got. I know that's to be expected in an airport, but this was pushing the envelope even so. Room was reasonably comfortable with a good variety of seating to accommodate everyone.

    Royal Crush Beer
    Sterling B.

A welcome stop at BWI, with a delicious Royal Crush hazy IPA, and a few "boss" burgers that were cooked to perfection and dolled up with all the fixings. Add Gonzo artist Ralph Steadman artwork and blend in a delightful period of attitude adjustment. Flight? What flight? Oh, THAT one.

    Sandy B.

Met by a hostess and sat immediately. The waitress greeted us with menus. They have an item on the menu that "hasn't been served for 5 years". But they have plenty of options. I like some of the local specialties like, crab dip and aioli on fries. I wish I could. But for now, salad. I did get the Cobb salad. So it still has some extras. It was really good. Fresh. Lots of complimentary flavors. I didn't use any dressing. I do wish they would tear the lettuce at least once. The butter knife was so dull it was like using a plastic spoon. Hubs had the BLT with turkey and fries and really enjoyed it.

We started with Potato Cakes with crème fraiche, they had a nice crunch, a tender interior with subtle flavor. I'd never had them with crème fraiche, it was a nice change and the mild tanginess with the creamy texture complimented the Cakes well. I ordered the Main Street with Weisswurst, a Pretzel and plain Spätzle. It was my first, the veal's flavor is understated in comparison to Bratwurst or Knackwurst (not on the menu) and was a pleasant changeup. The Pretzel was little disappointing while it was a decent pretzel, it lacked the crisp crust and distinctive flavor I expected. As evident by the rating while worthy of note, it's not a game changer. I'd ordered a large plain Spätzle, which was two regular portions, but was served Spätzle with cheese I tasted it and it wasn't my thing, which is not to say it was bad, I just don't care for cheese in dishes like that. Our server swapped one cheese for plain (my wife had happily stolen the other) and enjoyed the replacement. I found that the grilled onions gave it a nice homey flavor. Mistakes happen and it turned out to be a win in the end. We shared a couple of desserts and by far, my favorite was the Black Forest Cupcake. It's on the large side, they might be able to cut on the weighty crème icing, the chocolate cake and soaked cherries were a delight. The cherries are a significant improvement over the Marchinos I had before, if only there were more. Rathskeller can get a little loud, as it is a relatively small space with hard surfaces so voices reflect, it wasn't packed this afternoon, so it wasn't an issue. Waitstaff dresses very casually, it pleasant and fairly attentive.

They live very close to a location there, and we got pizza to go when I was visiting them one time maybe in 2022. The pizza was very good as I recall. Then, I saw there was a location of Primanti Bros. opening in Linthicum Heights near BWI Airport, the first location in the Baltimore-DC area. They were having a grand opening on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, where the 1st 100 customers were going to get free sandwiches for year. I live about 13 miles from here, and I toyed with the idea of trying to be one of the first 100. But I opted against as even if I got there at 6 AM for the 10 or 10:30, whatever grand opening time, and there's still no guarantee I'd be the 1st 100. And I'd be pissed that I drove all the way there and stood there for hours to get nothing in the end. Not to mention, I had work too (although on average probably slower due to also Juneteenth holiday), which I could do from out there to a certain extent. Ultimately, I had emailed them, and they said the 100th customer got there at approximately 4 AM that morning! That's insane. This place really has a cult following! A friend, who knew I lived in AA County, loves this place and mentioned the idea of meeting up with me one Sunday to watch a Ravens game, and him and his fiancée (wife as of March 2025) went up there a few times to watch game or other reasons they went that way. On Thursday, October 3, 2024, like Juneteenth the holiday Primanti Bros. opened, it was Rosh Hosannah, and that friend who had off (as he works in a school & they get the Jewish holiday) off invited me to lunch with another friend of ours. My work was slow that day, and I needed to eat lunch somewhere anyway. I probably would've eaten lunch at home or close to home if they hadn't thought to invite me. So, I drove the 13 miles from home to meet up with them. Those two friends were kind of high. Well sure, it was a holiday they were off work. And they were hungry too! I was hungry too because well it was lunchtime. Service was prompt & friendly answering our questions. However, server was a bit of a klutz as she accidentally spelled some water got a bit on one friend. Geez, was she the one who was high?!...just kidding, it's just one of those accidents that can happen being a server. She was apologetic. My friend took it with stride having a positive attitude. I believe I got a pastrami sandwich, but could've been corned beef. Their sandwiches are big, pilled high with lots of meat & delicious too. I can really see why the following for this place with the quantity but also the high quality. Fries were plentiful too, which were also delicious. I ate well that day for lunch and was quite full. I went to an event that evening, and I think I just ate something small/snack for dinner that night after I got home around 9 PM. This was a great service with excellent plentiful sandwiches & fries and nice service.
