Kung Pao Chicken
Arjun P.

Surprisingly Good Food for an Old Diner Ordered: (Main) Kung Pao Chicken - 4/5 - The chicken had so much flavor, and tasted very very good. It was not authentic Chinese, but a much improved Panda Express. As many have noted, the exterior is unassuming and the interior even more so. I went here on a friend's recommendation and was very worried I would regret my decision. The interior is definitely stuck in time and looks very old-fashioned. The menu also looked very unusual because it had breakfast, American classics, and random Chinese food, which made me doubt the quality of the Chinese food. But the service was quick and friendly and the food was good. A nice little hole in the wall which should upgrade its interior to match its food.

What a gem! This was exactly what I was looking for while staying in Linthicum for work -- I was so glad I found the photos for this place because I didn't think it would be such a cute breakfast type diner, but it totally is. They do have lunch items too, but the name threw me off a bit. We stopped by here just looking for some late-morning breakfast on a Monday, and I'm sooo happy we found this place. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by staff and found a table. It definitely had a friendly neighborhood vibe where staff seemed to know most of the people coming in. This is exactly where I would want to become a regular if I lived here full time! Staff was super kind and very attentive to anything we needed. I ordered my standard breakfast that I order everywhere -- scrambled eggs, toast, potatoes. I was not disappointed. Portions were good and prices were even better. You definitely should check this place out!

Western Omelette with homefries

We were looking for a late day breakfast spot in the area, and found this place. It doesn't look like a food place from the outside, but we went in. It's a small diner that had a small parking lot. Upon entering, we passed the sign that read seat yourself and approached the counter. We weren't sure if we had to order first before sitting, or if they would come and bring us a menu. The woman behind the counter seemed annoyed when I asked if we had to place our order there before sitting. She rolled her eyes and told us to take a seat. Two minutes after we sat, another young lady asked us if we wanted a drink. We both replied coffee. She came back with two cups of coffee and took our order. The food came quickly. The french toast was made on regular white bread and had a good taste to them. However, it was only two slices cut in half and came with a small scoop of butter and powdered sugar sprinkled over it. The western omelette was good, but the best thing were the homefries with onions that came with it. They were excellent and were perfectly cooked. The coffee was hot but not as strong as we would've preferred. I would've given this place a 3.5 star review, but it won't allow a half star.

a sandwich and french fries

Just ate there today for the first time, got the cheese steak combo. It's delicious so are the thick fries that come with it. I've lived here for two years and only now discovered them. They are tucked away in a little strip mall hidden from the road. It's obviously the best kept secret for the locals. I'll be back!

The food is always delicious here, sandwiches are piled high with a meat of your choice, cheese,…read moreslaw, tomato, and fries. Onion rings are super crispy and stay together well. The drinks were HUGE but not very strong. I did get a little plastic duck with my cocktail which was very cute, though. Despite being a Pittsburgh sandwich and bar restaurant, you would expect to see Steelers memorabilia, but the Linthicum MD location is full of Baltimore Ravens gear! The service was attentive and always around if you needed something. Food comes out quickly, I didn't wait more than 10-15 minutes for anything to come out. Overall, Food and Drinks: 8.5/10 Service: 8/10 Atmosphere: 7/10

P is for Primanti Bros., representing 2024 in alphabet series:…read more I was familiar with Primati Bros. when I visited my parents in Lancaster. They live very close to a location there, and we got pizza to go when I was visiting them one time maybe in 2022. The pizza was very good as I recall. Then, I saw there was a location of Primanti Bros. opening in Linthicum Heights near BWI Airport, the first location in the Baltimore-DC area. They were having a grand opening on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, where the 1st 100 customers were going to get free sandwiches for year. I live about 13 miles from here, and I toyed with the idea of trying to be one of the first 100. But I opted against as even if I got there at 6 AM for the 10 or 10:30, whatever grand opening time, and there's still no guarantee I'd be the 1st 100. And I'd be pissed that I drove all the way there and stood there for hours to get nothing in the end. Not to mention, I had work too (although on average probably slower due to also Juneteenth holiday), which I could do from out there to a certain extent. Ultimately, I had emailed them, and they said the 100th customer got there at approximately 4 AM that morning! That's insane. This place really has a cult following! A friend, who knew I lived in AA County, loves this place and mentioned the idea of meeting up with me one Sunday to watch a Ravens game, and him and his fiancée (wife as of March 2025) went up there a few times to watch game or other reasons they went that way. On Thursday, October 3, 2024, like Juneteenth the holiday Primanti Bros. opened, it was Rosh Hosannah, and that friend who had off (as he works in a school & they get the Jewish holiday) off invited me to lunch with another friend of ours. My work was slow that day, and I needed to eat lunch somewhere anyway. I probably would've eaten lunch at home or close to home if they hadn't thought to invite me. So, I drove the 13 miles from home to meet up with them. Those two friends were kind of high. Well sure, it was a holiday they were off work. And they were hungry too! I was hungry too because well it was lunchtime. Service was prompt & friendly answering our questions. However, server was a bit of a klutz as she accidentally spelled some water got a bit on one friend. Geez, was she the one who was high?!...just kidding, it's just one of those accidents that can happen being a server. She was apologetic. My friend took it with stride having a positive attitude. I believe I got a pastrami sandwich, but could've been corned beef. Their sandwiches are big, pilled high with lots of meat & delicious too. I can really see why the following for this place with the quantity but also the high quality. Fries were plentiful too, which were also delicious. I ate well that day for lunch and was quite full. I went to an event that evening, and I think I just ate something small/snack for dinner that night after I got home around 9 PM. This was a great service with excellent plentiful sandwiches & fries and nice service.

Pit beef, turkey and ham as well as pork BBQ and smoked sausage. Pick a meat, pick a bread (kaiser roll, wheat or rye), pick sides if wanted (chips, potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese). They have a full beverage cooler and even cookies. Walk in, order your meal, move to the side to pick up your condiments, napkins, utensils and your meal is packed to go in minutes. We drove over to nearby Linthicum Park to enjoy our lunch outdoors. This place is in a kinda tight spot but if they had room for outdoor dining, they would have my five stars.

Always on the lookout for a great pit beef sandwich (aka MD BBQ), wanted to give this play a try…read more This is complicated because they only serve pit beef during lunch on Thursdays and Fridays. This sandwich is almost a complete 180 from the last pit beef sandwich I ate from Beefalo Bobs. Unlike their overly smokey beef, The Pit Sandwich barely had any smoke flavor. The beef was sliced out of an alto shaam (hot box) rather than off a pit. The result was nicely cooked, if not a little cool, beef that really lacked any pit flavor/texture. It would have benefited from salt and pepper. Not saying it was not good, but was more like roast beef than pit beef. Pioneer still reigns supreme. On to the next one.
