Our server Ada was very attentive and patient when we felt spoiled for choice from the enticing menu items. I ended up ordering the classic smash burger - it was hearty and tasty. The coleslaw was very basic - tasted like something you'd get at a supermarket. There were other menu items I'd love to try so I'll definitely return!

Ordered two breakfast burritos. One with bacon, and the other with beef brisket. There are many ways to have your burrito, but we got the basic one. Overall the plain burrito was just okay. Definitely recommend sauce, as it's not very flavorful. The brisket was tender and everything was edible, just didn't have a wow factor for me to want to return. I think if they added more flavor to the burrito I would be willing to try again. The service was good and the restaurant was very clean and nice.

Inside is tight but food is right!

The place is eclectic in its own way and kind of tight seating inside. If the weather is good, eat outside. The service is very good but the food was absolutely scrumptious! Go for the food!

I'm taking a moment to write this review because it's rare these days to come across a place that gets everything right--and Doozy's Diner did just that. From the moment I walked in, the energy was warm and welcoming. Stephanie greeted me with a genuine smile and attentive service with helpful suggestions on menu selections and useful recommendations--something I always appreciate but don't often find. Now, as a chef, I tend to hold my dining experiences to a higher standard. I've worked in kitchens long enough to recognize when a team is dialed in, and that was obvious here. My food came out hot, properly seasoned, and executed with precision. I ordered the pastrami creamed chipped beef, and it was absolutely delicious. Rich, hearty, and deeply satisfying--comfort food done with finesse. Every bite felt like a perfect balance of indulgence and intention. But more than just the food, it was my server, Stephanie, that elevated the entire experience. She was friendly, insanely fast and efficient, and clearly took pride in her work. It felt like interacting with a long-time friend and not a staff member. She also made sure I had the info I needed to make a great meal choice. That matters. It changes the tone of the whole meal. There's a difference between being served and being taken care of--and I absolutely felt the latter. Doozy's isn't trying to be something it's not. It's confident in what it does, and it does it very well. My compliments to the kitchen, Stephanie, and whoever's responsible for fostering the kind of environment where great food and great service meet. What are you waiting for? Get yourself to Doozy's. You'll leave full--and genuinely happy you came. Count on it.

    So welcoming.

Just love the kitschy ambience. The friendly and efficient staff keeps the place moving. The food is wonderful, with a Latino flare. Sturdy and comfortable seating, colorful decor - even a Free Little Library in the back dining room. Looking forward to returning.

I went to have breakfast this morning at Doozies Diner, and what impressed me the most about this place wasn't just the food--which was quite good--but the local media camp that was filming a commercial on the premises. I'm a sucker for community engagement, and watching those little kids interview people for the diner really made my day. I ended up ordering the breakfast platter, and even though my bacon was crispy, they gladly replaced it with a second side of bacon. I can definitely see why this diner is a neighborhood treasure.

I do love this place. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. My favorite thing on the menu is the eggs Benedict with crab dip which is insanely flavorful. I do also like their "smash browns" although they are inconsistent with quality. Sometimes they are super crispy and fresh and other times taste rubbery as if they had been sitting around for an hour and then reheated. The restaurant itself is very cute and I love that they have a play area with books and toys for my young kids. My one area I don't love is the service. Some servers are wonderful and pleasant and helpful. Some, especially during lunch time, can be a little rushed or even rude when interacting with them. For instance, last time I went for lunch, the server seemed annoyed I was asking questions about some of the entre's... which I'd understand if it was busy, but it was 11:30 and we were her only table. Again, overall great place.

Pretty good and quick breakfast this past weekend. My waitress was very friendly but I do not remember her name. I ordered the doozy burrito which was pretty good. The queso on the side was excellent. This place is on the small side with a moderate amount of tables. I had about a 10 minute wait by myself on a Saturday morning around 11:30 a.m. Service was great and would definitely return.

Absolutely delicious brunch! The food was so beautifully plated that I had to take a photo. And we both happily cleaned our plates. We will definitely be back!

Our server was amazing and suggested everything for us to get! I found this spot after debating on the best location for Sunday brunch and I was NOT disappointed. Nothing came home as leftovers except 1/2 of the Doozy Burrito which by the picture you can tell it's colossal and delicious. Parking is free in the area which is great and I loved the bright colors painted on the walls inside also. Will I be back? YES! Doozy's makes me want to try everything on the menu at least once and you should too!

I swear, Catonsville truly has some amazing hidden gems! I ride up and down Frederick Road multiples times a week, but never noticed Doozy's Diner hiding just off of the main road. Luckily, Yelp always comes through with amazing suggestions! I utilized their website to order take, since I was picking it up and heading straight to work. The diner is very quaint, small but big enough so you're not on top of the other customers. My order was ready much earlier than promised and I was in and out. The food was piping hot! I actually made two stops, before heading to work to dig in! When I first open the container, I swooned! The smells were so amazing! The first bite was love! This was the most flavorful hash I have ever had! The sweet potatoes with the spice from the chorizo, then the potatoes came in to round out the hash. I need to get back here immediately, to give other menu items a try!

A blogger that I follow on IG reviewed this place, so today we decided to give it a try. We ordered a couple different Banh Mi's - the BBQ pork and Grill pork. For those who are familiar with this dish, the bread is the star of this dish and the baguette was fresh and had a nice crunch with every bite. Both of the meats were seasoned well bursting with flavor and the pickled carrots and daikon were nice and thick. They offer many different options for summer rolls and while the safe side of me wanted to stick with just the "traditional / original" style, we decided to venture off and got the Grilled Beef, Grilled Sausage, Shredded Pork, and Grilled Pork. All of them were delicious in their own way and they each come with different sauces. While we were there we also got the original Cafe Su Da (Vietnamese iced coffee) which was delicious but my favorited was the Salted Latte which tastes like a Salted Caramel coffee. Staff was very friendly and got all of the food and drinks out in a timely manner. Absolutely love this place and excited to have a great Banh Mi place here in Maryland without having to travel to DC / VA.

Just note, this is a legit country store, offering random canned items, dried goods, toys, collectibles, drinks, snacks, and even hot food. We saw a patron come in, looking for charcoal, and there was a bag hiding behind the front door! We stopped by, as we had heard about Mr. Jay's famous burgers - we ordered one to share, open to any toppings he recommended - ours came with fresh Romaine lettuce, sliced onions, a hot pepper spread, sliced fresh jalapenos, cheese, and mayo, all nestled in a locally baked bread. This was a simple, but a tasty burger! The freshly-ground beef is picked up every morning, from the slaughterhouse that is across the street; I don't really want to think about that all too much, but just know that what you're getting is some fresh proteins! Mr. Jay also grows his own peppers and such, so you'll taste the freshness! There are a few comfortable chairs around the store, so you can definitely just sit and enjoy your food, or take it to go - we opted to dine-in, and we almost fell asleep since we were that cozy and relaxed! HA! Mr. Jay is also known as the Mayor of Oella, so be sure to sit and listen to his stories - he's so kind, personable, and has a lot of history to share!
