We were so disappointed. This was our first time visiting. First our waiter forgot one of drinks, which was no big deal. He brought 5 minutes later. We gave him order. Someone brought 2 of our meals out, we thought he was going back for our other 3 orders. Wrong after 10 minutes we still did not have our meals. A couple minutes later they final came out. We order a kids spaghetti which came out with no sauce. I ordered the chicken sandwich french fries and cole slaw. My sandwich lacked sauce and luke warm as were my french fries. My husband ordered the club sandwhich, his bread was burnt and dry. He loves club sandwiches! We ask to speak to a manager. My husband voiced his complaint. The manager was nice, she offered a 10% and she gave us 3 free entrees. She made an excuse about no sauce on the kids meal, most kids do not want sauce. Like you couldn't put it on the side. Delicious food and the service was good. Our server, Maverick, was very pleasant and attentive. The only thing I don't like about this diner is the music is TOO LOUD!!! There is no need to have music so loud that I have to yell across the table at my guest. That's the only reason I don't visit more often. Food 0 stars. Don't order the crab cake, it is mostly bread and very little crab meat. Burger ordered well done was still raw inside. Fries were cold and too salty. I am a small person and it doesn't take much to fill me up but I was starving after finish eating. Service 5 stars. I sat at the bar Saturday, and one of the TVs was broken, so we tried to get the Orioles game on the other. Turns out, they don't subscribe to MASN, which is ridiculous for any restaurant outside of Baltimore. The young lady got so frustrated just because I asked to put on the game. I ordered the chicken tenders, and they were straight out of the freezer. My waitress was very attentive, but the rest of the crew was not. Overall, it was not a great experience. read more

Outside, the restaurant is beautiful. The experience was all downhill from there. We received the wrong drinks and had to request ice for our drinks. Service was slow. My short rib burger had a weird taste to the burger patty. My husband's cod dish had a strong fish odor, and the tomatoes had way too much pepper. We are one and done with this place. read more

The wait time was long and when seated the hostess was unfriendly and seated us at a small table by the kitchen door. However a very friendly waitress by the name of Aniyah J. moved us to a spacious table. Aniyah was young but had impeccable people skills for someone her age. She was witty, courteous, helpful and polite. She made our experience a happy one. Horrible first experience. First time going and waited 30 minutes for my breakfast plate of fried eggs sausage and home fries. All the food was cold, so I had it sent back and when the 2nd plate came out it was actually colder than the first plate. Waitress said there was miscommunication in the kitchen lately. I was so happy to hear that a silver diner was opening up in the area since it is my favorite restaurant! I got a salmon caeser salad which was delicious, fresh and local just as I remember it being in other locations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and I love the open floor plan with indoor and outdoor seating options. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Jose Reyes as well as one of the managers, John which really enhanced my dining experience to see them actively engaging with the guests. Friendly public service announcement about the new Silver diner at The Avenue and White Marsh, I only give one star because the only redeeming quality about this place during our visit was the chicken tenders. Be very aware of prices on the menu... Also lack there of in some items... Be aware of multiple team members getting involved in your interaction and transaction and all of them not knowing all the same things... And be aware of middle-aged white lady with an attitude who was working Several areas, including behind the bar and she was giving people there final totals... They don't give you paper checks there because they're green... But just be aware. Many of the managers in the area are there in their first couple of weeks being open, but apparently this middle-aged lady behind the bar did not care because our final total was wrong and all she said was... I didn't take your order... She never apologized. She never empathize. Once she finally did make our transaction correct and since there was a bunch of people helping us, we did of course give a correct percentage tip, and she said she was the only one that collects tips instead of the several other people that helped us throughout the day she was giving excuses why other people could not collect tips ... She kept the negative banter going until we were getting up and out the door ready to leave and then she tried to call over a manager for some reason even though there were several standing right at the front door who were not paying attention... I'm not sure what she was gonna tell another manager ... "I'm a D bag and it's their fault not mine?" By the way, since there are no paper checks, they do not even show you the itemized order that you did until they expect you to pay with your credit card or give them your form of payment so you do not have a chance to review the bill unless you ask which is wrong... Our bill was wrong by a numeric amount because we can add and when we brought that to her attention, she just said... I didn't take your order This is why I say be aware of the prices on the menu and if there's not a price on the menu, make sure to ask and make sure you are taking a tally of what you are doing throughout your dining experience, especially if you are drinking alcohol because before you know it, they could be gipping you out of a lot of money Just be aware of the type of character and service at the Silver diner in White Marsh... Me and my mother went in today. VERY DISAPPOINTED. We had a waiter named RAPHAEL (tall dark with a bush). The food was good we got the buffalo wings fries Brussels sprouts and the peach pie for 2. So our bill came up to $53 and some change. We paid with a $100 bill the waiter came back to our table with the change ($20 bill 4 $1 bills, 3 $5 bills and 1 $10 bill) the $20 was in between the ones. So is a senior citizen not really paying attention trying to get his tip she took the 10 and 2 of the 5s from the bottom. And that was his tip, he grabbed the money put it in his pocket so fast tried to walk away i stopped him and asked her how much was the bill and how much did she give him. I knew she didn't have the right amount and i seen the 20. She asked him how much did I give you, he said 10. I knew that was a lie because it was 4 $1 bills and a 5. So i said can i see the money he was hesitant to take it out, but when he did he had it covered with his other hand trying to hide the 20. I said i see the 20 mixed in with the 1s like how you sat it on the table to give her the change back. He laughed trying to be friendly and say 'i really didn't see it'. Gave it back but the nice lady that my mother is gave him another $5 so he had a $14 tip. And he walked to the next table looking back and smiling. This was by far the worst establishment I have been to in quite some time. I ordered their current signature item which was the flat iron steak meal thing. I asked for a medium well steak and it was tough and overcooked for nearly 30 dollars I expect better. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles and it came out super cold and she didn't eat but a few bites and was on the verge of tears because she really wanted to enjoy it and it was impossible to do so and on top of it we ordered the crab soup and they brought us chicken noodle instead. My last issue is the method of payment they literally bring you a tablet instead of a check and the waiter or waitress sits there and gives you 0 time to look to things over. My waitress was decent I can't knock her she doesn't work in the kitchen which is the only reason they are getting 1 star. We were excited to try this new restaurant at The Avenue, however we were extremely disappointed. The hostess seated us and gave us an insert in our menu and said as long as we had the insert ( which was only good until 11:00 am) we could order from it. We were seated at 10:45. When the waitress finally took our order it was a few minutes after 11:00. As we began to order she said OH NO YOU CANNOT ORDER FTOM THERE. ITS AFTER 11:00!! Hostess and waitress were not on the same page. It was decided we couldn't order from it. Ok we will pay full price then. No you can't order those omelettes at all. It was very confusing. We ordered the OTHER omelettes that were available. My friend wanted AMERICAN cheese on her omelette. It came out with mozzarella cheese that stretched 6 inches high with her fork. The waitress argued it was American cheese. Sent it back. Came out wrong again with mozzarella cheese. Manager came over and argued it was American cheese. American cheese does not stretch. Biscuits were crumbly. Bacon was limp. Asked for crispy bacon. Cage free eggs tasted like powder eggs. Worst meal ever. We couldn't eat it. We won't be back. Also, what kind of diner doesn't have scrapple on the menu??? This is not good diner food by any means. We went running back up Double T on Joppa Rd. They have good diner food!
