Been here 3 times now. Once for dinner, twice for breakfast. Each time, I was overwhelmed by the amazing food and fantastic service. The good prices and generous portions are just the ribbon on the prize. The dinner, I had the veal cutlet. Wow. The veal was the size of my head, and cooked just right. The gravy had just the right consistency. Breakfast on Saturday was an early one, and I had the country fried steak. Again, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Sunday breakfast I tried the chipped beef. It had ALL the flavor and wasn't gritty tasting like some other diners. The service is ALWAYS friendly and fast, I've never had to wait for a seat, and my food comes out piping hot. The coffee is always fresh and they leave plenty of creamer. Parking is a little tight but not insane. Last but not least, they bring the check in a reasonable amount of time. I hate waiting forever for the check. The restaurant is clean, and brightly painted. There is also counter seating if you're flying solo. Definitely a place with local color, I think I found my new favorite spot on the Dundalk/Essex side of town!!! read more

The food was excellent, but i spent most of my time wondering if my tires were being quietly deflated in the parking lot for asking for syrup with my pancakes. One time i was leaving and noticed 2 cars having flat tires, when i looked up to the restaurant I saw her beady blues eyes glaring out the window. I knew then I better leave a good tip next time I go in. She has the kind of cheerful energy that says "no problem at all" while mentally calculating how many lug nuts your car really needs. if you are hungry for some down to earth good food with generous portions, then come on in. This place has a feel of casualness. We ordered the Italian cold cut sub with the works minus anything spicy hot. Sub roll was fresh, and the meats were all good quality. I got the open faced turkey with French fries and gravy. The turkey is cooked on site, not a deli meat, and was all breast meat and lots of it. Crinkle cut fries, cooked to order. All covered with gravy. The server recommended this dish as one of the go-to dishes. The food was honestly fantastic. And the prices are much better than other places we've been to. Service was super! We will be back! I am stunned at all the five star reviews. The food is not anything ride home about seriously!! my dad likes this place and we took him there because that's where he wanted to go for breakfast. My pancake tasted like they were made with dish water. They were disgusting. I had one bite and that was it. The home fries had no seasoning at all. I had to load them up with pepper. My dad was satisfied with his breakfast, which is what mattered but I would never go back there again. Ok let me start by saying this is an old style Dundalk restaurant. The food is sub par at best, everything came out cold and when they took it back they must have used a microwave to reheat our meals. The service was ok nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, I live in NC so I can't be a regular at this fantastic neighborhood restaurant. First and very important, it is clean to the point that Kimberly cleaned not only each table, but she cleaned everything on it plus the seats and the walls! She cleaned like she owned it. The food is very tasty and in portions that most restaurants can't touch. My absolute go-to when I'm back in my hometown. The perfect small-town "diner". Full of local people and great food. The portions are huge and delicious. The prices are great. The staff are so kind and friendly. I end up working from this restaurant for a few hours when I am in the area just because of the pleasant vibe. The cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen, too. The place is not pretty to look at nor has the inside decor been updated in years but the food is good. This is a blue collar diner that has a good breakfast and lunch at a very reasonable cost. I came here today for my first time in a good while. This place is a little out of the way, but certainly worth the trip. They have a full well rounded menu with home style cooking that you can't help but enjoy. And a nice breakfast, lunch, or dinner certainly won't break the bank. I had a Philly Cheese steak sub and it was great. My mother had the shrimp salad sandwich that she really enjoyed as well. All in all, I try to stop in here every time I am nearby. This is probably the BEST Diner in the area. The prices are super fair and all the food is Amazing. Service is mostly good especially if Miss Karen is working. Kimberly waited on me today, and she was a delight. I ordered the French toast which comes with your choice of meat if you like. It was less than half of the price of the nearby famous international breakfast chain. One of those overlooked sort of places. It's a greasy spoon, but not bad at all. Went for breakfast with my grandmom after taking her to the doctors. Clean, fast, and good are the three words that come to mind. The couple of times i have been their it hasn't been to busy, so you get waited on in quick order. On top of it the staff is pretty friendly. My grandmother ordered eggs, sunny side up, bacon, potatoes and toast (2 slices). As for me, i took their Italian Sausage omelet (Sausage, sweet peppers, mushrooms, and mozzarella). It comes with potatoes and toast (2 slices). To say it is good would be an understatement. Could i get better from somewhere else, sure. But for the area and a simple breakfast, i can't complain. The portions are generous to say the least, my grandmother got a least 6 slices of some decent sized bacon. Needless to say we both came away happy. Will be returning. read more

This was my first time being here and I am here to tell you, their food is too notch, and the servers are very friendly. I had the fish special with beets and macaroni and cheese. The breakfast is pretty good here but the prices are pretty high for it being a dive. If I did not live so close I doubt I would ever come out of my way.
