I'm not sure I even know where to start. Me and my best friend rolled up (without reservations -…read moreoops) but were greeted and seated almost immediately. The area near the front window almost feels like a private table. It was definitely giving a great vibe. We checked the menu prior to picking this place and they had EXACTLY what I wanted. I had a big ole brunch of their Grand Marnier Strawberry French Toast which was a three stack of THICCCCC cut Texas bread. It was better than I hoped for! And I brought at least half of it home, because ole greedy butt over here also got the platter with the home fries (I asked for onions and got this caramelized onion topping that was almost a jam. Yummm), the bacon and the eggs your way (scrambled with cheese). My companion had this big ole omelette with a lot of veggies and shared my french toast. The sauce they served with the home fries was sooooo good - it was almost like Heinz 57 sauce but with less of a vinegary bite. The jam that came for my English Muffin was delicious and praise GOD they served butter that wasn't ice cold and unspreadable so yeah hella points for that. For the mimosas, we did the "buy the carafe and the bottle", with a carafe of cranberry juice and a bottle of Cava Prosecco. I loved that we were able to select WHICH bubbles we wanted and for two people it worked out very well price wise. The host (tall guy with a mohawk) and our server (Robyn) were absolutely fantastic. Personable and friendly and very attentive, very much able to answer any questions we had (THANK YOU ROBYN!!!). In short - this place is a gem and yall should go! Be mindful of the parking in the area, but dont let that stop you from a delicious meal in a lovely setting!!

Second time here and it was a complete 180 from the last time; which is a good thing. We were able…read moreto get a table for 5 for brunch on a Sunday without issue. The last time we were here, there was an issue with my allergy not being respected-- that didn't happen this time. I ordered the shrimp, grits, and greens but they were able to sub the greens with sauteed swiss chard because the greens are made with bacon and I can't eat it. I wish the grits had more salt or the sauce because it was a bit lacking, so I am glad I ordered the biscuit to add that salt. My husband ordered the duck monte cristo and he really enjoyed it. The cuts of meat were substantial on his sandwich and he liked the French toast bread. The shrimp was cooked nicely for mine and the grits were creamy. The space is still very cool to be inside and sit with a view of the street outside. I enjoyed being here on a rainy day. I also ordered the apple bourbon cider and it was good. Could use a bit more spices maybe, but still good. Our server was fantastic and took very good care of her. We will definitely be back again for some more good food.

A magical takeout spot that exclusively caters to the late night party-goer…read more I have lived near KERB for over 3 years, constantly walking by it, but never seeing it open. Last weekend, I broke my normal habit of staying in by hitting the outdoor bars until 2am. On my way back, I smelled a wonderful aroma coming from KERB with a group of drunken patrons picking up orders. So, out of curiosity and excitement, I went inside. First thing about KERB are the two people who run the place, both the cashier and chef. These people are a joy to talk to and are experts in conversing with the inebriated. Second thing about KERB is that the menu is tailor made for people of the "non-sober" persuasion. You have a mix of American, Mexican, and Mediterranean food on the menu, only missing pizza for the ultimate drunk menu. You also have weird hybrid dishes that sound like they were conceived by a madman, and were the focus of my trip. I ordered a BBQ Quesadilla, stuffed with BBQ chicken and cheese, dripping with sweet and smokey sauce. But the kicker is the side of Greek Yogurt served along side it, making the entire dish an American Greek take on a Mexican dish. It was fantastic. I also ordered a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich that was piled high with shredded beef, but also had a fried chicken tender nuzzled inside and coated with marinara sauce and spinach, giving this American sandwich some Italian flair. I enjoyed both dishes immensely at home, woke up the next morning as if I came out of a dream, thinking that the food was just a hallucinations brought by one too many drinks. Then I opened my fridge and found the leftovers, which were just as delicious as I remembered. So yes, KERB has some weird hours, typically being opened between 11pm and 2:30am. But if it's late at night, KERB has the delicious junk food to fill your need. I plan on making KERB my go-to late night spot the next time I'm feeling tipsy.

My go-to is the half pit beef, half turkey sandwich, and their ribs are chef's kiss! The other meats are phenomenal, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection! The smoked mac and cheese is pretty decent, and while the coleslaw can be hit or miss for me, everything overall is delicious and satisfying! Fulfilling portions at affordable pricing. What makes this place even more special is the amazing customer service! The gentlemen servicing you are always welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I especially love the sweet gesture of giving the ladies a carnation flower before they leave. Such a thoughtful touch that can truly brighten someone's day! Located right off Falls Road in Cockeysville, it's a small roadside establishment that you might miss if you're driving too fast. I truly enjoy supporting this business. Jake's Grill is proof that great food, genuine hospitality, and little acts of kindness go a long way! Definitely a hidden gem worth trying!

Several people had…read morerecommended the chicken and waffles, which made me very excited as in NY, this dish done well is hard to find. Sadly, our server, Hope, I think, said the item had been taken off the menus despite many requests for it from patrons over time. While our other selections, crab cakes, salads, were very good we had been psyched for the now "86ed" chicken and waffles. The waitress recommended I reach out to Steve, as manager, to add the C&W on the menu, at least as a special occasionally. I would happily return to sample it, if this were to happen. Thanks. Good ambiance, pleasant staff.

It was not good at all. Advertised thin crust was not thin at all and reminded of cardboard. Toppings were not much better and we agreed it was average frozen pizza quality. Pretty much a waste of calories and carbs. We have had better food from here from regular menu and wished they would offer specials from that. Towson just seems a bit sad these days and this place kind of feels same. A shame since it was on our regular rotation many years ago.
