Easily the best breakfast I have had in a while! Visited Endy's on Saturday afternoon with my family. The establishment is pretty unassuming, in a shopping center next to a Dollar Tree and not far from a DMV. We seated ourselves per the sign once walking in and it took a while for someone to provide us with menus. In fact, the service leaves a little bit to be desired in general but I suspect they were just short staffed and our server warmed up after the first interaction. Even with that, I can't bring myself to give less than 5 stars because my breakfast was the definition of delicious. I ordered the 2 eggs which comes with home fries, breakfast protein of your choice, and toast. The home fries are well cooked with onions and green peppers. I added a side of grits which were a little watery but still but the spot. No complaints about the eggs or sausage. Just very much satisfactory all around. The food is good but staff can be a bit unsettling at times. Last time I ate here the staff was arguing out loud with each other and a waitress started arguing with a customer. Our COVID recovery tour continues to Eastern Baltimore County's Middlesex shopping center, home of Endy's Grill. My bride is interviewing for a job on the east side and I took to to the site of what will hopefully be her new gig. We decided on Brunch and I decided on Endy's. Been a long time, too long, since our last visit and I'm happy we made the choice. Glad to see they survived the lockdown and subsequent restrictions and even better to see they're thriving. We arrived at around 1300 hours and we were invited to seat ourselves. Our server took our drink orders and we placed our orders when we received our drinks. My wife had a big Greek salad on her mind. I had an omelet and SCRAPPLE in mine. So, she ordered the Greek salad topped with steak and I ordered the meat lovers omelet with a side of SCRAPPLE. What we received was amazing. The salad didn't come with a small steak, that steak was huge. Unlike anything we've ever seen. We were delighted. And, the salad was plated beautifully. My omelet was also incredible. Filled, literally, with lots of great stuff like ham, bacon, and sausage and perhaps scrapple. For a buck more, they added cheese. The home fries were excellent and the white toast was, well, toast. Endy's has orange marmalade, strawberry jam and other jellies for toast. Portions were immense and immensely delicious! Service was exceptional. Server brought another Pepsi well before I needed it. Endy's is a mom and pop operation and a neighborhood staple. We need to go there more. I had my car serviced in Essex, so I thought it would be a great idea to grab breakfast in the area. I did a Yelp search and came across Endy's, located in the Middlesex Shopping Centre. My dining friend tried to discourage the option to go there, but I remained steadfast. The overall atmosphere was very typical of a diner, with added local charm and classic rock. My friend and I ordered the Endy's Omelette, mine with lamb, hers without , both with home fries. We split a Belgian waffle with strawberries and cream. Everything was delicious! Cleaned my plate down to the last morsel it was so tasty! The owner is super nice as was our server, Nadia. Definitely...coming back. This rating would be a 4 if not for cleaning & ignorance. I met my mothernlaw for a late lunch at 1:30 as Endy's is her favorite place to hit for a bite while in Essex. This is an easy choice and I see why she likes it given the waitresses and the food were wonderful. My first impression although was my trip to the bathroom where further down the hall a man was about to mop the floor. As I entered the gentleman's room the door was kicked open by the not-so gentleman mopper. He didn't speak very good English but pointed to the floor and was irritated that I was going to be walking on his wet floor. I was Livid! As I left the restroom I went VFR to the guy to see what his problem was. He ignored me when I asked, "what are customers suppose to do?" So, I held my composure and wanted to leave immediately but sat and bit my lip throughout the meal at the request of my elder. This guy continued to mop and spray cleaner throughout the diner. My consensus is that given the restaurant closes at 3p that this guy was getting ahead of his chores. Make no bones about it, this place is clean and it reaks of cleaning agents. The waitress apologized on behalf of the guy but I will never return. If you do go, get there before 1:30. Horrible!!! read more

Definitely a hole in the wall type of breakfast shop. Not a place I would've checked out but my boyfriend ordered me breakfast to the house one morning and it was DELICIOUS. This is the strawberry French toast with butter and syrup on it with a said of gravy (what was supposed to be sausage gravy with biscuits) my order was messed up. I come here regularly and absolutely love this place! Best breakfast in Baltimore! Stopped in this morning for some take (damn COVID) and had simple eggs and bacon with home fries. Perfectly cooked and fantastic! The staff is very friendly and courteous and the order is ready in minutes. I should also add, best coffee around! Sorry Dunkin' and Starbucks. I moved out to Essex around July last year, this place is in walking distance of my apartment, I always wanted to try it. I came in one day, with my partner and my best friend, we ordered an Omelet, an avocado burger, and a chicken parm sandwich. Our server was nice. The three of us, and a couple older gentlemen were the only customers in the restaurant, and the only other people were the cook and waitress, this was around the time congress abolished Roe V Wade and the older gentlemen were bragging like that was a good thing, the cook was able to talk with them and made it seem like he agreed, they then went on a tirade against lgbtq people and I made an offhand comment to my table, I assume couldn't be heard by the others along the lines of "wow, you really hate gay people so much you bopper your head to Elton John and Queen when they came on the radio" The cook made eye contact with me after that, I assumed nothing of it. Our food was overcooked when we received it, burger and chicken were inedible and the eggs in the omelet were like rubber. We still paid for it, being in our early 20's and knowing the waitress needed to get paid. We promptly gave it to a homeless person chilling on a stoop outside the shoppers in the same plaza, I hope he at least enjoyed it. This review is older, I downloaded yelp solely to see if this place was worth trying again I've seen great reviews about the food, and just assume whoever there that day was an asshole who took out his anger at my comment on us. read more

Pretty good wholesome food to eat. I've tried the place several times and the food is pretty consistent. My favorite to get would be the French toast deluxe here. They properly soak the bread at room temperature with room temperature egg mix I believe, as that eggy fluffy ness is usually maxed absorbed with room temperature to warm ingredients. The crust is nicely crisp and the inside isn't dry. I haven't had the eggs done wrong, and I usually switch between over easy and sunny side up. The grilled ham slice is slightly on the thinner side to focus more on the grill taste, the bacon crisp, and the sausage delightfully plump and seasoned. The orange juice is freshly squeezed, so it's a flip of a coin whether it is sweet. Despite that, it is fresh oranges they bring it so that's a great experience in itself. The service is friendly, and even busy they do check up on how you're doing. For a breakfast joint, they keep their tables pretty clean with no feel of the normal breakfast place stickiness. The syrup is provided in cup packets rather than dispensers, and they stock each table with assortments of jam packets. This local spot is next to a dmv, so it does get quite a bit of traffic. I haven't tried the lunch menu, because their breakfast is good enough for me to ignore the rest. FYI, it does take service a little while so it's more a place when you have leisure. By the way, I've heard that the crab Benedict has old bay sprinkled over it, so it's whether you're an old bay lover. read more

They make a good omelette that is not greasy. Their potatoes would be excellent if they added a little more salt. Their pancakes are decent and they add a ton of "toppings" to them. For example, the blueberry pancakes had tons of blueberries. They also have fresh squeeze orange juice. I would go back and try more options. This place is fan-freakin-tastic. I kept driving by and wanting to go in and glad I finally did. Nice little diner style restaurant that services breakfast, lunch and dinner ALL DAY. They had big claims of homemade food and boy did they deliver. When I seen sausage gravy, I couldn't pass up that opportunity. It arrived within minutes from the smiling face of our server and was as Cambell's Soup says, Mmm Mmm Good! The homefries.. oh the homefries.. Done just right with a crisp outside and tender inside with nice hunks of onion and green peppers. The wife got eggs and a generous portion of crisp bacon. They doordash, uber etc. so I grabbed a menu to look at for when I don't feel like cooking (every night lol).
