Not a bad place to come if you want a breakfast that's straightforward. Not too fancy, and the portions are appropriate. I ordered a fresh juice, decaf coffee and the Trifecta which came with a waffle, chicken sausage and two over medium eggs (you can choose your own combination). I really enjoyed the waffle with their hot syrup! The juice was really refreshing as well. It made me feel quite healthy given the fact that I was eating a waffle with syrup . I only wish they could juice to order instead of having the juice premade, I would have preferred it without the added sugar. My only critique was the eggs. It can be kind of tough making an over medium eggs, but mine came out underdone. I had them remake it and they came out fried hard. Ah well, the quest for perfect over medium eggs continue. Two weeks after this visit, I just realized I didn't post this review. The order was bagged and ready upon arrival. I asked the hostess if I needed to check it. Beautiful ambiance inside - noisy and busy at brunch. Happy there's a Towson location. We went on Saturday and it was packed but we only had to wait about 10 minutes and they text you when you are up. I always get the bacado (bacon avocado) omelet from First Post. It came with strawberry jam, multigrain toast, pico de gallo, and salad greens (can sub other things). Omelet is always delicious, flavorful, and generously portioned. It's a nice complete plate. I got the carrot cake pancake on the side - I think I would have preferred a different flavor because while it did taste like a carrot cake, it veered too far from pancake to be what I wanted. It was big and a good size but expensive at $8 per pancake. if you're going to get a pancake, get 2 because it's $5 per pancake that way. My husband got the cinnamon chip breakfast, which had 1 cinnamon chip pancake, 2 eggs, and a few sausage links. He said it was just okay, maybe a 3/5 stars. It didn't look like a really filled out plate or well-balanced. They had cold brew with oat milk on the side - no oat milk substitution could be made for the other special coffees on the menu. Ŵe had to check out this new location closer to home. It is a good-sized one and a very busy. There is a lot of noise from people talking and dishes clattering . There is really nothing to absorb the noise. They do have a side of the building for those who like to dine outside.. And if you prefer, there is an inside bar with tall chairs, maybe 6 or so seats. Our server quickly came by and took my drink order. She never asked my husband what he would like. Also, she was ready to take our food order with the drink order. I was starting to feel rushed. Well, she had to come back as I needed a chance to read the menu. My husband got his usual, the Floridian. I ordered the millionaires bacon done crispy, a favorite. And quickly added as she was about to dash off , the Skillet Hash Market. She paused briefly and repeated the order. The total order arrived in about 10 min.All the food was good, but I would not order that again. We were 3/4ths through, and there she was with the to go boxes and the bill. Again, I felt rushed. I had an incredible experience at First Watch in Towson, and it was all thanks to our server, Christian. She was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests she serves her energy was warm, positive, and so refreshing early in the morning. Christian checked on us at all the right times, made thoughtful recommendations, and made sure everything came out exactly how we wanted it. She had this perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness that truly made us feel comfortable and taken care of. I've been dying to try First Watch after hearing such great things about the restaurant. I stopped at the Towson location on my way back from Philadelphia (Fly Eagles Fly) for a late breakfast. It was pretty empty, as it was a Monday morning around 11am. My server, Ty was extremely helpful and attentive. Decided to order the trifecta breakfast - 2 eggs of your choice (poached), choice of meat (smoked ham), fried potatoes, and toast. Hubby had the Santa Fe breakfast bowl. I really enjoyed the mint chocolate coffee. But I was not happy that my potatoes looked ! If they chef scraped the back of the grill for the potatoes. I had nearly a plateful of burnt potatoes. Came here for lunch with friends as I was visiting from out of state. Our server was friendly and knew exactly when to attend to us the whole time. She left us alone when needed and answered all our questions. There was one item on the menu I wanted but was informed that this location didn't have it. I ended up getting the breakfast tacos, my friends got the two specials, one being tacos and one was pancakes. The lavender lemonade I ordered was perfectly refreshing. The food was really good. The tacos came in 3, and honestly I could only eat two. But they were well seasoned! I could have used a little more egg, but that may be a personal preference of mine. After we ate we sat and chatted to catch up. The staff never made us feel rushed and before we realized it, they were closed and we were still there. I never like to do this to restaurants and I definitely wouldn't have been offended had they mentioned to us they were closing. After we paid our check our server took photos for us. She was so sweet I wish I remembered her name. I just remembered she said that's not the location she usually works at. I love that there's healthier and heartier portion on the menu. I came to this restaurant on my actual birthday for a date with myself. I have been to the Pikesville location but, this was my first time at the Towson location. Plenty of parking, clean exterior and my favorite was the outdoor seating area for win. The restaurant was mostly full when I walked in so I was offered the outdoor seating area which was perfect for me. It's enclosed with fans and connected to the bar area inside the restaurant. The food came out pretty quickly and it has always been on point. My super fav is the million dollar bacon which is pure deliciousness. This morning I went to breakfast with my girlfriend for her birthday. I'm not a cheap ass but we went because supposedly they give a free entree for a guests birthday. Immediately walking in we were seated and it took 10 minutes to get greeted by our server. As someone who works in the industry we're told that guests should be greeted within 2 minutes whether you're busy or not. Just a nice hi how are you I'll be with you in a few minutes and this review wouldn't even be happening. When putting in our entrees we told our server it was her birthday and that we came because she had a free entree and our server said great. After eating we went to the front to pay and when saying it was her birthday all the staff went ahead to scramble and try to figure out how to comp her food. After another 10 minutes our server came to the front and told us that my girlfriend needed an email with a barcode... Great texture, great color, wonder taste... 9.0 for the eggs tho. Turkey Sausage was solid as in every restaurant. I had to customize my omelet, cause they were doing too much with the swine in the omelet that I wanted. ( The Works). So I just pretty much got " The Works Omelet" but used turkey sausage as my only meat (pause). That was a 2 out of 10. Prob the worst thing I ordered there. Iono why they think people prefer Cheddar and Monterey Jack as their primary cheese. Bammas want AMERICAN CHEESE 1st. Tried the pancakes and they were dry. No signature taste. No buttermilk taste. No nothing. Don't waste your time. On the brighter side, that tropical sunrise juice was amazing. I think I had 4-5 of them. Must try !! Think I spend about $103.00. Not happy at all! Chef doesn't pay attention to instructions, or maybe they can not read and/or do not know the recipes of the dishes. 3rd time something has been missing or wrong with my order. We stopped in for brunch on a Tuesday and it was an amazing experience! We were seated right away and our waitress was super attentive. We were even checked in on by additional wait staff during our visit. The environment is very clean and inviting. Even the patrons seemed cordial to other dining guests. It is a great option to enjoy a meal as a family or group. We ordered coffee, orange juice, and sweet tea. I love that the restaurant has a variety of flavored creamers and sweeteners accessible right at the table. We didn't order any during our visit, but First Watch also offers a selection from a fresh juice bar which is a nice touch. For food, we enjoyed the Belgian waffles (the preserves are delish), bacon, home fries, French toast, link sausage, eggs, and pancakes. While the pancakes weren't my favorite (they could have been a bit more flavorful and cooked a little longer for my own taste), the French toast and the waffles were delicious. Warmed syrup was provided. The seasoned potatoes were also perfectly cooked. The food overall was reasonably priced and well-prepared. We were very pleased with our first dining experience at First Watch and we'll most certainly be back soon. read more

Yayyyy so happy that the Towson location is finally open. The restaurant is so nice inside. So happy that my husband and I were able to stop by for the soft opening this past weekend. We frequent the Timonium location and I recognized staff from there. Our reservation was for 11:30am on Mother's Day and we were seated promptly. We got our usual pancake orders, the blueberry and banana granola almond crunch. Both decided on sides of bacon. I love the grapefruit juice so I had a glass and my husband decided on orange juice. Sandwich I got was amazing, especially the bread. Once we finally got seated the server was very friendly. As for the once we got seated. We were told it was a 25-30 minute wait so we decided to stay. While waiting I noticed 5-6 tables that needed to be cleared. They all remained uncleared for 15 minutes. Very inefficient. While we were seated this dirty table issue continued as customers continued to vacate the tables. As time went on the hostess and checkout person did start helping to get things moving as far as the table clearing aspect. read more

I was really excited to try First Watch and unfortunately I feel let down. I did love the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. We went in early this morning and there were only a couple other tables there. I was unable to get a decaf coffee unfortunately so I just got water instead. We placed our order with the drinks so we wouldn't have to wait long if they got busy and it's a good thing we did. Once our food came out, we did not see our waitress again for about 15-20 minutes after we were done with our food. They did get a little busier during this time, but the restaurant was far from full. Once we finally saw her, we got a box and our check so we could leave. I was not impressed with the service or food, I would describe both as mediocre. One meal was the trifecta, minus eggs sub potatoes and it was just average. The second was the Hacienda Hash, also sub eggs for extra potatoes. This meal was slightly better, although the chorizo was very few and far between. Party of 8 and I GET that it is hard to sit bigger tables BUT... Everything could improve! I put a wait in online and first watch told me to be there in 25-40 minutes. I was there in 25 minutes and then waited an additional hour to be seated while I was "in line". They kept on letting walk-ins of 4 people and 3 people sit down while we could've be separated (which I requested too) but still had walk - ins skipping over me. Ambiance is terrible, service was mid, and food is as good as egg shells in my scrambled eggs.
