Fuji Apple and Chicken Salad
Tola O.

Got takeout for the office. The Fuji apple and chicken salad was sizable but the flavors were blah-chicken was under seasoned and tough. Very hard to chew. Even the apples were bland. flavor of the salad as a whole was lacking. I salvaged it by adding salt/pepper and a different dressings. Other people had their wraps which looked better.

I was so delighted to discover this little sandwich shop that is right up the street from where I am staying. My meal was prepared exactly as I ordered it and everything was very fresh. The owner and whomever it was who waited on me were very attentive and friendly. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other sandwiches and panini's!

Ordered a group lunch for pick up. Everyone loved their food! We got a wrap and 3 burgers...made to order with small customization (how you want your beef cooked, exclusion of certain ingredients due to food intolerance). Friendly staff on the phone and in person. Tight parking but there are spaces tucked in and office area. Clean facility with some indoor and outdoor seating but limited. Busy staff and phones ringing off the hook. The cucumber mini side salad was the perfect way to complement the richness of the food. Would recommend!

Great sandwiches and soups for lunch. The people at work are fantastic and very caring. You can do call and they're always ready delivered.

It was very tempting, however, we were only ordering for lunch. To start they gave us a warm, crusty rolls, which were yummy. Hubby enjoyed a bowl of Maryland crab soup and the shrimp salad wrap, and I had a chicken and avocado salad, which was fresh, delicious, and enormous. I took half of it home for lunch tomorrow! Cage was a great server. Both personable and attentive. This is a large, clean restaurant with a nice clean bathroom as well as a full bar. Lots of private spaces for a larger party as well. Employees were all very friendly. Definitely not our last time here!

It was busy because of the holiday but Bluestone has a lot of seating. I asked the 3 girls at the front for a table with good lighting. The hostess didn't hesitate and we were seated immediately. There was a Fathers Day special of 2 separate entrees . Our Server Jake told us the Steak was sold out . That's pretty good for them. Sounds like I should try the steak another day if they have it. I wanted a small plate and Jake gave me 3 recommendations: BANG bang shrimp, mini crab cakes, & Crab Spinach dip. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and the beet salad. This was another "live in the moment" dinner for me. I am deciding to be more deliberate about enjoying my food and not taking as many pics. Everyone on Yelp has the same pics of the same food. The beet salad was so good. Very appealing plate. The Bang Bang Shrimp were swimming in sauce but still tasty. I really wanted to try a new red wine Jake recommendations were : JEZEBEL & Alta Pavina. I chose the Alta Pavina (a high alcohol content you may only need 1). I wasn't feeling like a Jezebel on Sunday and decided to wait for a Friday night for that red wine.

That is a very nice seating option; however, there was a private event occurring so I couldnt be seated at such. They also have a front patio seating option as well. I opted to be seated at the bar for this visit as well. The bartender was not as pleasant as my entrance experience and previous visit; however he was attentive. We ordered drinks and then proceeded witj our food ordering once we received our drinks. We ordered Expresso Martini and Reposado Old Fashioned. The drinks are amazing and 5*. We ordered our food Oversized burger and Pan Seared scallops over brussel sprouts. Our food came out hot and within reasonable time. The burger is NOT an oversized burger. Regular sized and the descriptive name is deceiving. The burger option was not anything to speak on as it was not to satisfaction but quelled the hunger moment. It was over cooked. The pan seared scallops came out with a strong "fishy" smell. They however were tasty and spicy. This was a small plate as it was only 3 scallops in total. Other then the strong "fishy"smell, they were tasty. We then ordered a limoncello and was of course satisfied as it was another great tasting drink. This establishment does not have a nice and variety food menu but you will never be disappointed with the drinks.

The vibes here are my favorite part because the bar is so lit up and vibrant and they're always playing good throwback music. Lots of hightops to have happy hour or for some small bites. Our waitress was patient and able to score us a booster seat for the one toddler. It's a brunch place with lots of options, including some swanky juices and smoothies. I got the seasonal Tangerine Dream which was like a delightful creamsicle - would get again. The kiddos destroyed their pancakes and eggs (Child #1 has never met a fried egg he didn't love). I enjoyed the Farmhouse Hash, which seemed like a safe bet and it didn't disappoint. Maybe next time I'll try the Market Hash, which is a little more vegetable-forward and less potato-focused. This was a good mid-point to meet some friends and I'm not in Hunt Valley often, but I would definitely come back.

The menu is absolutely enormous and the interior lacks character and charm with uncomfortable bench seating and scarce decor. I opted for an omelette which came with pepper jack cheese, bacon, pico de gallo, and a dollop of sour cream. The description was unclear about whether it came with home fries and bread or the option of either home fries or bread. When I asked our server about this, he gave me a mixed response and seemed confused himself. I told him IF it comes with bread, I'll need the gluten free option which ended up being pretty good. My boyfriend got the blueberry pancake which he seemed to love. He also got a side of their "million dollar bacon" and "the works" omelette. There was some more confusion from our server who thought he wanted to sub the bacon in the omelette for the million dollar bacon but he ended up asking for our clarification before any mistakes were made. My omelette came out first and it was dry and overcooked. Definitely not a fluffy omelette and the half a spoonful of sour cream wasn't helping. The home fries were SO salty and that's coming from someone who has a savory palate. I couldn't finish them. My boyfriend's omelete came out and was a lighter, different color and looked a lot fluffier which makes me think mine was kept on the skillet too long. The million dollar bacon was just bacon covered in maple syrup. It was so disappointing and definitely not worth the almost $7 for 4 pieces. We had to chase our server down for our check in the end. Our meal ended up being over $50 for the two of us. Considering the quality of the food and service, I wouldn't say it was worth it. This is the kind of place that pretends its "farm fresh" but really is the same quality as IHOP at a slightly more expensive price.

Pappas in Cockeysville came up in a couple of influencers' lists, so we made the 1 1/2 hour drive north to experience it for ourselves. We arrived at 11:30 on a Sunday morning and chose to sit on the restaurant side (versus the sports bar side). Our meal started with soft rolls right out of the oven and vinegar-y cucumbers. My wife had some them while I passed on them for I don't like cucumbers. Obviously, we later ordered the single crab cake entree with two sides ($33.99). I chose the fries and the up-charge for a Caesar salad while my wife picked the coleslaw and mashed potatoes. The crab cakes did not disappoint! Even though it was a hot day outside, they kept the restaurant very cold. After we ate, I didn't notice it as much because I was so full. A final note is the lunch crowd started coming in around 12:15pm.

Locales and visitors enjoying a Monday dinner - crab cakes or pasta seemed to be popular. The latter may be attributed to the $2 pasta discount on Mondays. The quintessential basket on the table of stale cracker packets and tiny plastic containers of butter probably sitting out 24/7. Meh- why "Oprah" would order her crab cakes from here when the crab is not from Maryland, right? Once I heard that news from the waiter ( I asked, it was not volunteered) I opted for the local soft shell crab special. ( despite it not being season, I should have known better. It was a puny crab with hardly any meat and it was not properly cleaned either. Sides of overcooked brocolli and asparagus. Baked potatoes looked liked yesterday's overcooked option. My colleagues enjoyed the crab cakes which were large portions- should be for $40+ each. Service was friendly, food took too long- it was a long wait for mediocre overpriced food.
