Both beer and entree were really good and I'm looking forward to my next visit where I'll try another entree out (or maybe have the meatloaf again, TBD!).

My friend said I had to come here. We did. As soon as we stepped out of the Uber the adventure began. The building is so out dated but the entrance door held its charm. Neon lit Edgar portrait reading from a book his Annabel Lee. Complete with a bouquet of flowers. To the right more words of the writer surrounded with a few tables and chairs for those willing to chill in the cold. Inside was no different. Several crows, skulls everything you'd expect. And a well stocked bar. Many writings on the wall, articles, awards, etc all added to the vibe and theme. And of course dimly lit but you could still read the menu. We were guided to the back for our party of 5, in a corner away from everyone else. That made it easy for us to converse as we perused the menu exclaiming this and that of the dreadful names used and deathly ingredients mixed in. It definitely made it more appetizing. After working all day I was ready for a drink and settled on the To Isadore; gin, lavender syrup, lemon squeeze topped with segura cava. That hit the spot. Unfortunately, I had eaten quite a bit on this trip and forced myself to order the Chef Salad. Nothing more to say there. My wife, though, ordered the seafood lasagna. Never had that and it didn't sound like something I could get into. I was wrong. This is Baltimore. The seafood here is astounding. It was delicious and had to take a couple spoon fulls. My friend ordered the double beef patty burger. I was jealous until he offered me a bite. That was really good too, and juicy. If you're looking for an experience and are not too afraid you may want to visit Annabel's. I do recommend it and do insist coming after the sun has been well down.

Our party of 6 did not have a reservation and ended up waiting about 1.5 hours on a Friday. The hosts seemed a bit overwhelmed with the busyness of the evening - not sure if they just needed some extra hands on deck. Outpost has good cocktails and mocktails. The wings are a go-to for us and the burger does not dissapoint at all. However the star of the show at our last visit was the Brussels sprouts!! Sooo flavorful and crisped up. Highly recommend. Definitely stop by here if you have a reservation or a relatively small party and looking for a tasty lunch or dinner!

Vibes were comfy and cozy, with a neighborhood bar feel where if you're a regular they probably know your name and drink order. Parking is very tricky because this restaurant is in a residential area. My bf got the halloumi carbonara but unfortunately it was quite salty. Not just the crispy halloumi bits but the actual noodles and sauce as well. I got the brazillian picanha and though there was a miscommunication about the meat temp, it was promptly handled and I enjoyed the steak itself. The sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus however were a little weak compared to the steak itself. I can't explain it but the seasoning felt a bit off on the horseradish mashed potatoes. Dessert was excellent- we split the chocolate guava tart.

One of my favorite things about this place is the fact that they let us choose where we want to sit and the window seat is always open! Another fav is their mimosas. Better than bottomless is a decent price and a decent number of juice options! The lemon ricotta pancakes are so so good! They have something for everyone on the menu. We also love their avocado toast. Service is always attentive and friendly. The ambience is nice. The music isn't too loud and the temperature is perfect.

Union Hill Kitchen & Craft Bar has all the components of a restaurant you want. Excellent customer…read moreservice, amazing food, and they truly cater to their guests. I actually found Union Hill while planning my friend's 40th birthday dinner from another state, and from the moment I reached out, everything just flowed. I inquired about hosting a dinner and one of the owners, Matt, got back to me within a day. From there, the planning felt effortless. He answered all my questions, stayed in communication, and really helped bring the whole vision together. We had close to 30 people for the dinner in one of their private dining areas, and when I say the staff was impeccable... they were ON IT. My friend had no idea where she was going, so this was a full surprise. Once we gave the staff the green light, they were ready and immediately started accommodating everyone. Everything just flowed from there. We did family-style appetizers, which I loved because everyone got to try a little bit of everything. Everything was flavorful and came out at the perfect pace. For my entrée, I had the salmon and it was so good. And listen... I hosted the whole thing, ate there that night, AND still had leftovers to take home. That's always a win. They were also super accommodating leading up to the event. I was able to drop off the cake and cake pops the evening before, and I was even able to decorate the private dining area, which made everything feel really personal. What could have easily been a stressful experience ended up feeling seamless. The restaurant atmosphere is beautiful. The private dining area worked perfectly for our group, and they even have an upstairs outdoor area as well as a downstairs outdoor space, which I didn't get to experience this time but definitely want to the next time I go back. I'm so grateful I came across Union Hill Kitchen & Craft Bar. It made such a special occasion even better.
