I originally came in on a Saturday and had a less than pleasurable experience with a salesman. After leaving upset I was called by the General Sales Manager, Arnold Tavizon and he sincerely apologized then set up a follow up appointment for me. When my girlfriend and I arrived for our appointment time, we were immediately greeted by name in the parking lot by one of the dealerships "seasoned" salesmen, Bruno. Never have I had such a pleasant experience at ANY dealership. I really felt like we ran the show and he was just along for the proverbial "ride". After driving the new HRV we explained we had some other cars to check out, Bruno even offered to drive us to the other dealerships, and let us go with zero hastle. After about two hours of driving other cars, Bruno sent me a quick text thanking us for another chance and to let him know if we had any questions. That day we had a bad experience at the nearby Subaru dealership with rude sales associates, I then sent Bruno a text and said we decided on the Honda and by the time we got back he had it washed and ready sitting up front. Because of his expert knowledge and assistance he got us into a brand new 2016 HRV that we LOVE! We then had the absolute pleasure of going over the financing options with the finance specialist (who's name I can't seem to remember right now but definitely did a great job). He even talked me into the military warranty package, which BTW is awesome. After the whole thing was over at the end of the day we ended up spending about $5000 more than we originally intended to (this is completely ok by us, because the experience was so good and would not be a financial burden) Before we left with our new car, the Dealerships head hancho, David, even came over and talked with us for a while and thanked us for our business, then threw in a free travel mug (might not sound like much but really was just the cherry on top, its a great mug!!!). My girlfriend and I thank all the associates at Camelback Honda for their knowledge and assistance in helping us take the first step towards starting our new family. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. I highly recommend this dealership, especially Bruno! Semper Fi! Avery and Danielle read more

Service :) I had a great experience today for an oil change on my Honda Fit. Charlie was helpful, efficient and friendly. He said it would be ready in 90 minutes, and it was ready in 60. He explained what services I would need next; did not try to add on extra services. He even found out it was my first service there after car purchase, so it was free (I had forgotten this). Car was vacuumed and washed, excellent experience overall. Highly recommend! read more

A few years later this place still sucks. Dont waste your time. This place is run like a buy here pay here lot. The worse honda dealership I've ever encountered is this one. I know I've said it before but I'm never coming back. read more

This is probably my favorite dealership in town. My husband and I decided to attend a tent sale at the Peoria Sports Complex Center. We had made an appointment so we could skip the lines. We were eager to see all of their selections. There were over 1,000 cars on the lot. A great Sales Consultant named Jimmy Melendez was waiting there to assist us. Instead of having us walk around the lot in the heat, he drove us to look at each car. Jimmy was very attentive to our needs and very friendly. He is definitely a people person. He made sure everything was taken care of for us. He updated us when he could. We ended up purchasing a car that night and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Jimmy, Kevin and Ken! read more

I am a first time buyer and had already been looking into getting a car for a while. I felt discouraged that I wouldn't find what I wanted in my budget. As soon as we stepped onto the lot, we were greeted by two guys and they were so kind. I didn't feel like I was getting pushed around. I told them exactly what I was looking for and what was in my budget, and they made it work. I thought I was going to leave with a 2016, and if I was lucky, 2017 pre owned car. I left with a brand new 2019 Honda Civic Sport that was still in my budget and got an extended warranty! Thank you Ali, Austin, Steve and the guy in training (I'm so sorry, I cannot remember his name)! read more

Last month my husband and I went there to see a specific car that I was recommended by another Honda dealership. I specifically told them we were not in the market to buy at that moment we saw the vehicle fell in love and they worked with us we had a specific amount in mind that we wanted to pay each month and they came within $0.99 Jose C was extraordinary professional and explained the process thoroughly the finance manager took our 2000 F150 HD in on trade and gave us exactly what I needed for it no questions. The whole process took us about 6 to 7 hours to complete. The next afternoon I got a call stating we had forgotten to sign a document not our fault there's I told him we were coming in from the East Valley and I'm not sure when I can make it there. It so happened that I needed to find the pink slip to the truck anyhow and take it to him it all worked out the gentleman that spoke with me said he'd make it worth our trip and offered me a free tank of gas of which they came through we drove down that next evening signed a final document handed over the pink slip and we drove off as happy customers. That next weekend we were having troubles with the connection of Honda Android stopped by there to talk to Jose again and he walked through the steps come to find out it was my phone connection not the vehicle I think them and we went on our way. I would recommend them to anyone for buying a new vehicle haven't had to go in for service though. Whatever you do do not go to Superstition Springs Honda for service they will rip you off read more

Today at Showcase Honda, in Phoenix, AZ, we had a very pleasant experience leasing a new Honda Pilot from Brian Fitzwilliam, Sales & Leasing Consultant and Jeremy Ransom, Manager. All our questions were clearly answered to our satisfaction. Our deal was a collusion instead of a pressure sale. We were also impressed that while there several cars were sold, which I think was because of their detail to customer service. I would highly recommend Showcase Honda in Phoenix if you want individual attention and an informative experience. I also recommend you see Brian and Jeremy. I guarantee you will be very satisfied. read more

This dealer must really be struggling for business. They have joined the politicians with robocalls--the difference being that politicians calls are, unfortunately, legal. Car dealers, with whom you have done no business, are violating the law with their cold calls. That's, apparently, how desperate this Honda dealer has become. If you have to turn to cold calling in this economy, you may as well lock the doors. read more

Service department forgot to rotate my tires and did not return the message I left for them. Unfortunately I went ahead and had my 2017 Civic serviced at their dealership for the 30,000 mile service. This consists of changing transmission fluid, brake fluid, oil / filter change, replace air filter and rotate tires all for $499 plus a $25 disposal fee. The service writer gave me $40 off the total, which was nice of him. Unfortunately, I know they did not rotate my tires because I have a small air leak in my front passenger tire before and *after ‍ my car was serviced by Showcase Honda. If the tires were rotated, the tire with the air leak would be in a different location. Knowing they did not rotate my tires, I am not exactly confident in what actually did to my car for almost $500. On top of that, they inflated my tires to 36 PSI when it says to inflate to 32 PSI right on the door frame ? Also, with the summer heat coming up, over inflated tires are dangerous and a liability I left a message 4 days ago and never had my call returned. Use a local mechanic or a different dealership. read more

Worst customer service ever. Employees are very unfriendly and can't give their customers two minutes of their time. This place deserves zero stars read more

I went to trade my car in there to save some money. I had great service with everyone there until I went in with the Robert, the finance guy. He immediately made me uncomfortable when he started talking about my mental health and my anxiety showing. Not the time or place. I was anxious because I was trading my Lexus in for a Honda due to a divorce. Robert was rude, condescending, and sarcastic. But I did sign the paperwork so I could get out of there. It seems that right after I left there Robert had called my phone stating I forgot to sign a piece of paper. I was there for hours and didn't actually read the message until I got home. And I live in Peoria, not even close to the dealership. Robert proceeded to call me all day the next day and even threaten to come to my home the day after if he hadn't heard from me. I kept my credit locked because they had already pulled my credit report and told me I was approved with a credit Union. When Robert called me he told me that I looked suspicious for locking my credit. I'm going through a divorce and felt that locking my credit was smart. Also, I was advised through Experian that my information was found on the "dark web" so I felt the need to protect myself. But when I finally unlocked it Robert proceeded to run my credit 18 times, knowing I was already approved with the credit Union. My score was in the 700's but has dropped to the high 500's now. It went from excellent to needs work. That has devastated me in many ways. I went back to the dealership and wanted to get my Lexus back because I decided I was not willing to do business with them anymore. The whole service contract that I purchased Robert told me I would have to deal directly with him to receive any of those services. I was absolutely against that. I was there for hours as they were trying to make me keep the Honda. I had stopped by Earnhardt Lexus on my way there and got pre-approved to trade my Lexus in for a less expensive Lexus. Anyhow, even when I didn't have a car from them any longer my credit had been ran 2 more times after I left there. And I was no longer interested in doing business with them. From the major drop in my credit score now my credit card companies are canceling my credit cards and lowering my limits to max out the cards. I'm sure all of this is why I took such a hit on my credit. With lower balances you have less available credit and my debt became a higher percentage compared to what I have available. And it all started at Showcase Honda with the finance guy name Robert. They actually wrote me a letter stating that they only meant to pull my credit once and lied and claimed they turned it into the credit bureaus. Sadly, all those hard inquiries are still there and when I got in touch with one bureau they told me they never received this letter from the Honda dealership. I was not at all surprised. All I received from that dealership was my credit got destroyed and a phone number to where Robert received help for his mental health. I was so disappointed and upset. I felt they really took advantage of me and they need to fix this with my credit. They are the ones who ruined it. And I worked years and years to get this credit. I'm still pretty upset with all of it. But I'm grateful to not have to do business with them. Stay away from Robert in finance. He came across as petty and used his authority to pull my credit in a very careless, irresponsible, vindictive, and negligent manner. I'm not sure where to go from here with my credit but ever since that day everything things have not been the same. This has been a bad year for myself, as well as many other people in this world. It is terrible that someone would purposely do this to another person. They have cameras in those rooms where the sign your paperwork at car dealerships. I wish somehow that could fix what Robert really messed up. Anyhow that's my experience with Showcase Honda. Sorry it's so long. read more

I recently purchased a used Hyundai Elantra from Showcase Honda. During the sale, the sales people were kind enough to point out two cosmetic issues with the vehicle and immediately offered to include their repair as part of the sale. I thought this was very classy of them, as I likely would not have noticed one of the issues (which was actually somewhat serious) until later, and likely would have been upset. After getting the vehicle home and having my mechanic give it a once-over, we realized that the car did not come with a spare tire or fix-a-flat kit. I gave the sales team a call and they quickly agreed to order some form of tire repair kit to have handy on the vehicle. While this is happening, the finance team realized they had over-charged me, so Joe drove all the way out to the east valley so I could sign the updated paperwork without inconveniencing me! But the sales and finance team is just where my experience starts... What REALLY impressed me was the service and kindness of the service department (namely Bob Swafford). When I took the vehicle in, I thought I would be able to wait for the repairs to be completed same-day. However, the service manager reviewed the work that needed to be done and quickly informed me to do the repairs the right way, we'd need to do some more extensive work that would likely take two days, but they would pay to get me a rental vehicle. Again, I appreciated their desire to do the work the right way, rather than the cheapest and fastest way. Long story short the paint booth at the dealership ended up breaking down before my car could be repaired, so Showcase ended up paying for 8 days of rental vehicle for me because they didn't want to inconvenience me to drive back across the valley to pick up my car, only to return it a few days later when the paint booth was fixed. Once the repairs were done, they allowed me to pick up the vehicle after-hours to accommodate my schedule and to my surprise they served up another dose of "going the extra mile" by having ordered me a full spare tire kit rather than the cheap fix-a-flat kit. After I got the vehicle home, I found an odd scuff mark that hadn't been present when I brought the car in, so I called Bob and he promptly offered to take a look at the vehicle and was able to get the mark buffed out for me. The ONLY negative of this experience was the rental car payment--since the repairs had been extended and I returned the car to the dealership, Hertz seems to be pretty confused about the fact that the car is back in their possession, as I keep getting calls from them! I suspect this is a Hertz-related issue though, not related to Showcase. So my advice there is to always return the rental car yourself and make sure everything gets properly closed out. Overall, I was really impressed with how Showcase went the extra mile for me and my little 'ole used car purchase. They definitely have created a fan. read more

I had a great experience at Showcase- they were very transparent when it came to shopping around letting me know which features would or wouldn't be included in the trim models I was interested in. Bottom line- they're still car salesman, but they do go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. Everyone there was friendly and they are willing to work with the numbers you give them. Ray was my salesman and it was incredible how responsive he is. I would suggest utilizing their website- on there you can run your credit, look at your trade in value and look at their inventory. That way they have that information before you go in. read more

I had been a loyal showcase Honda customer for years, but I never will go there again. In February they recommended that I get four new tires, because they said there was a lot of wear and they could be a safety issue. Ironically the new tires caused a safety issue. The front passenger tire was put on improperly, and I had a bulge on the side of the tire two weeks later. I was on a road trip, and discovered the issue in Kingman on a Saturday afternoon. I spent the night in Kingman, because it was too late to get it replaced that day. I found a company to replace a tire early on a Sunday morning. I felt it showcase Honda should have reimbursed me for the $151 cost for the new tire, and also the cost at the hotel stay in Kingman. However, all they did was offer me a complimentary oil change and tire rotation. One reason they said they couldn't reimburse me is that I didn't get the new tire from a Honda dealership. I was in a tight spot I needed to get home, and a Honda dealership would not have been open on a Sunday. They didn't seem to care that my tire could have blown in the middle of nowhere at a very high speed, if I had not gotten the tire replaced. I was just asking for $300 in damages. When I consider how much I have spent there in over 10 years as a loyal customer, that should not have been an issue. read more

Do not trust a single positive review you read about this place. Buying a car from Showcase was the most miserable and frustrating experience I have ever had. They try to scam you out of money at every chance they get during the process. First, the almost $400 "paint protection" which I have never and will never use. Apparently I was the first person to ever ask for that unnecessary charge to be taken off (lie). After an hour of being taken advantage of, I had to deal with Phil. I would honestly rather eat glass for every meal than ever have to be in a room with him again. He will do anything in his power to sell the warranty to you, don't trust a single thing he says. I was absolutely not interested, and made this very clear from the start. He tried very hard to convince me into this outrageous coverage, but I kept declining, while getting more and more frustrated. I finally got to a point of complete emotional exhaustion and gave up. My co-signer went to finish the documents and found two critical errors. I haven't even been able to finalize the deal for my car, but I don't care anymore. The "salesmanship" (more like scammanship) here is absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. read more

If I could give negative starts, I would. Grab yourself a cup of Earl Grey as I tell you about my worst car buying experience, and one of my worst overall experiences, actually. I did a lot of research and decided on a particular model of car. It was a Honda, which I have owned a few of and love. Please remember that this is not a reflection of the quality of these cars. They are superior. I went into the dealership and was met by a salesman. I explained that I knew what O wanted, that I had perfect credit, wanted the 0.9% financing as a result, and that I had researched my trade value and would not be lowballed for that. I asked for an honest car purchase and spelled out my terms. I looked at inventory and test drove cars. I chose a car and while outside, my wondrous salesman told me he would be able to take off the dealer add ons which were thousands of dollars. I am talking window tint and Scotch Guard type spray all over everything. He promised me the car I wanted and the terms I wanted and gave me quite a bit of money off the car. Then the magic began. The magic called Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde meets Honda. Because suddenly my supersalesman became super sneaky and started the "how much a month can you afford?" BS. I reminded him that I had not come for BS. I wanted the car at the price quoted to me outside with decent trade in and at the 0.9% interest rate. Shortly after, the manager became involved, and I was handed a spec sheet, suddenly all the addons were back in the price, the trade in was beyond the lowest allowable, and the monthly payment was almost $800!!!. I was getting pissed off at this point. I said, "okay, guys, back to the beginning. I want the car at the price quoted, with $ trade in at 0.9% because I have perfect credit." I took a picture of this worksheet because I needed to remind myself how evil people can be. The interest on the loan on the first "worksheet?" 10.9% !!!! They came out with another sheet, had taken off HALF of the addons now, and bumped up my trade in, still low, but the interest rate was 8%. Did they think I would become blind during the sale? Or stupid? I mean I was being rather clear about my expectations. So this went on for many hours. Seven total, actually. Finally, after piles of BS were cleared away I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted at 0.9%. I explained to them that their practices were cruel and unethical and that I feared for old/vulnerable people who might walk through their doors and be unable to manage the level of untruth and manipulation at this dealer. If I had gone with first quote I would have paid more than double for the car. Then, after all this, they had the ba--s to tell me I would be getting a survey, and if I answered all 10s, they would give me a free $70 oil change If I didn't, no oil change. This is blackmail, coercion and unethical. Well, the business office was better behaved and did not go overboard trying to sell me the million dollar premier extended warranty that I was expecting. I said no and they listened So amen to them. Well, I waited and waited for my survey, because I don't care about my free oil change, this dealership needs some training. But it never came. No survey. I now the dealer had my email because they sent me lots of stupid ads and messages. So I contact Honda and the dealer had given a fictitious email to Honda corporation. The e-mail given to Honda for me to get my survey does not exist. I told Honda I had a lot to say and requested a buyers survey, but I still have not gotten my survey, so the turkeys got away with this. I am sure there are decent salespeople at this place, but they need to realize that every person working there represents their place of business. Consider yourself warned. And Showcase, do not bother me with your e-mails and "I am sorry let me speak to you BS" it is too late. I would never let anyone I care or don't care about do business here. read more

This place is awful and overpriced! I took my car in to replace windshield wipers and get an airbag replaced from a recall and when I got my car back, the plastic part of the gear shirt button was missing. How does this even go missing??? I didn't get a new one until I took my car in to get the air conditioner fixed a month later. Then I took it in to get a new starter and my battery cleaned and a day later my car COMPLETELY died after sitting in a parking lot for 4 hours. I took it back to Showcase and asked them to make sure the battery was hooked up right and tight. They told me it was but that they battery was low (I just got a new batter 2 months before this) and to take it back where I bought the battery. So I took it back to Firestone for them to check it out and they told me it was charged fine and that they just had to tighten a few things because they were loose. A few days later, my check engine light came on. I instead took my car to Bell Honda, only to find out that a sensor was not plugged in and that it had to be removed to put in a started, which Showcase put in 2 weeks before. Overall, very sloppy and don't care about customers! Do not recommend at all! read more

Alex was very helpful. I visited several dealerships and he was the only salesperson that was promptly able to give us the numbers we needed and find out about our trade. We had another brand car on lease and Showcase didn't mess around with agreeing to pay that off. We knew it was doable but other dealers were hemming and hawwing and made us feel like we were being worked over. Alex was straightforward and knowledgeable and that is why he earned our business. Almost 1000 miles in and we are impressed with our Honda. Originally, it wasn't our first choice car but we read it had the most cargo space for the class and it had the highest estimated residual value on kbb. This is the most powerful 4 cylinder engine we ever had and it's able to really scoot even up the mountain. read more

BEWARE!!! This is a dishonest dealership that doesn't tell you about all the hidden fees and traps they get you in. Please do not go here by yourself if you have no knowledge of how buying a car should go. My daughter bought a 2015 Dodge Dart ( used) and they stuck it to her. Hard working, single mother on her own went in and thought she was signing a loan for around $14,500. Little did she know, do to the dealership failing to mention that they added on for all the aftermarket things on the car and through $2,500 maintance service fee for something my daughter never signed for. This dealership should be ashamed of how the deceive young people. Terrible thing to do. Plus she put down $1,600. I've read reviews on my websites, this isn't the first time. So I spoke to fleet sales on the phone after finding a used car online that I was interested in. He came up with a estimated out the door price, it seemed reasonable so I went to test drive the car. (I told the guy in fleet my husband couldn't come see it for a few days because he was out and of town.) So when I got to the dealership and looked the car over, I was interested in how close the phone price was to the actually price. Fleet sales informed me they didn't realize the car's windshield had a large crack across drivers side and the quote didn't include the windshield. So proceeded to add $600.00 to the cost to cover a new windshield. I was speechless, I said no way was I going to pay for that. So he comes back again, after talking to sales manager, and hands me a paper and said he took off some for windshield. It was still $400.00 over price quoted on phone. Finally, after telling them I wasn't going to buy the car he took the $400.00 off. What a Game!! I told them to fix the items that weren't functioning, wash and detail car (it was very dirty inside) and put a new windshield in and I would bring my husband to purchase the car in a few days. The next day the fleet sales guy calls and tells me the Manager wants the car off his lot and wanted me to come pick up the car that day. I called my husband, he said he wanted to look at it first ( which was the plan). The bank said no because I didn't have power of attorney to sign for my husband. So when we get to the dealership my husband wanted to know about their 183 point inspection they claim they performed. The fleet guy could not give us any list of 183 points that were checked/inspected. So my husband went to check cabin filter on car and it was NASTY! I don't think it had been changed since the car was new in 2017. Their was an ink pen mark on the light gray leather drivers seat and all the seats where dirty. The seats never got detailed! The front drivers and passenger windows had sticky stuff on the rubber seal and glass so it made a noise every time you opened the windows due to the glass and rubber strip sticking together. The rear wiper blade is frayed at the end, obviously needed to be replaced. It took me over an hour to detail the car myself. The conclusion to all this is they lied about doing a 183 point inspection. I would not do business with this dealership again. However, they forced me to buy a paint protection package for $399.00. This comes with a "free" car wax every 6 months for 3 years. I live an hour away so it is very inconvenient to bring my car back and wait 1-2 hours to have my car waxed, but that didn't seem to matter to them! They are on Camelback Rd surrounded by many other dealerships so you can choose to drive by and check cars out elsewhere. I wish I had. read more

Went in to buy a vehicle that they had listed on the Internet for a full price offer per plus tax and license. Their counter offer was almost twice the listed price. Several other families stormed out over the same vehicle and cost while we were there. They refused to take a full price offer. Instead wanted to upsell us with multiple different warranties that we indicated we did not want or need. Ended up walking away and they didn't care. Confirmed with them several times that they won't sell for the price they listed on the Internet. Total scam. Never been treated this bad at a Honda dealership. Would have gained my business for life since I just moved here. Stay away from this dealership. read more

I leased a car from this dealer and had a horrible experience. A few months before my lease expired, I kept getting calls (almost daily) from sales reps trying to make more money off me by either buying/leasing another car or buying out my lease. I had already decided to purchase the car so I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with one of the reps. As we sat down to sign the purchase paperwork, I noticed the contract amount to be financed was $5k more than the payoff amount listed on my online Honda Account Management page. I asked the sales rep what the discrepancy was and he laughed in my face saying "the amount you see there does not include taxes and fees". By the end of that visit, they agreed to drop the total amount $2k which was still more than I was expecting to pay so I decided to sleep on it. After speaking to 2 other people at that same location-one of them being the manager- they could not explain what all of the fees were that added up to the additional $5k. Luckily, I found a copy of my original lease paperwork and sure enough, the puchase price there was a bit less than what was listed on my online account. I called the lease buyout department phone number listed on the website and was told that the amount listed online included taxes and fees (which amounted to about $1k). I ended up getting a loan with another company to purchase the vehicle at the amount listed online. These guys make so much money off of people that don't take the time to do the research... it is really appalling. I will not be giving this dealer any more of my business. read more

DRAMA PLACE!!! if you are bored and want to watch live drama, this is the best place. They make new stories so quickly that you can't imagine. Their, quotes for cars changes like the stock market. Their sales person keeps getting family emergencies, so you will get at least 3-4 sales persons in an hour. They all are so perfect to lie that they will get the best award. This is how they played the DRAMA SHOW: One of their sales manger gave me a quote over the phone and email. He sent me a written quote. But when I went to see him, he asked me to wait and disappeared, after few minutes another person came with a story that other person got an emergency and he offered his assistance. I showed him the quote given by first person and he gave us test drive. After that he came back with another story that First person's sales manger also got an emergency and left for the day. He offered new quote. I left the store with promise to come back next day so as to meet the first person who gave the original quote. Next day, I again met the first person and he showed his inventory on the PC and asked us if we want to look at the other colors. We came outside with him and he disappeared again. After 15 minutes another person came with a sad face and new story that first person got an emergency and left for the day. We felt sorry for the first person and 2nd person starting assisting us. After five minutes we saw the first person walking on the floor and asked him about his emergency, he did not have any clue. He said he was assisting another client and will come back to us, but..... never came back. Then third person came to us with a new quote and did not have any clue that what other two person had provided us. At the end of the drama show an idiot showed up when I was walking out of the door to tell me that he had also called me and given me a different quote. *** This is the worst place to buy a car, but best place to watch dramas!! *** Lying is their second nature. *** Professionalism, Sorry, Honesty and Truth words do not exist in their dictionary read more

my car buying experience was satisfying yet exhausting -- i was there from 1:30-7:30. initially, i started my deal after searching online for the best price, and showcase not only had it but also was the only dealer to have the color i wanted in stock. deneen phoned me to discuss, but i pushed her off because my car i planned to trade in was in penske automotive repair after being rear-ended and receiving $6500 in damages; it is a 2016 honda fit ex with 9400 miles on it. because it was so damaged, i no longer trusted it. it took 1 month for the repairs to finish, and i went the next day to showcase to see about trading it in for the same car but a 2017 model. sergio took the lead and really was nice, negotiating a fair deal wherein my car payment for the 2017 would only go up $20/month from my 2016 payment. so i went for it. sergio was competent, sweet and trustworthy. he's a nice guy. however, when i reached the point of meeting with the finance guy, rich, i checked out his computer monitor as he worked. sure enough, the car payment i was promised was listed as the "base car payment," with my "total car payment" listed as $30/mo. higher. immediately, i questioned this, demanding to know what the hell was going on. he said, "didn't sergio tell you car payments are taxed?" i said no and that i couldn't afford that payment, told him they deceived me and that i was very angry. i was ready to walk when rich and this other guy whose name i forget, who came in while the finance process was happening, both relented and said they'd fix it so that my car payment would be what i was told, slashing the price to accommodate it to include the taxes in that. i wonder how many people examine this. i imagine very few. thankfully, i never agree to anything until i've read/reviewed/critically analyzed it. i appreciate their working with me, but still think them a bit sketchy for trying to push my car payment to something upon which we didn't agree. i also told sergio if he hit the gong i'd murder him in his sleep. ha ha! read more
