Recently inquired about a used vehicle for sale and used their chat on the website about this specific vehicle and I was told someone in sales would reach out to me. I was first reached out to by James McDonald which then handed me off to Cristobal "Cris" Zepeda. Seeing as I am 5+ hours away in another state I had to everything via phone or email. I spent an entire day going back and forth with Cris. he recommended I use my bank for financing which I was not able to do so until the weekend arrived. This happened on a Thursday. I messaged Cris about a potential trade in I had Thursday night when I got home and after that I did not hear from him again. I called Friday and even sent multiple messages and did not receive a single reply from Cris. PJ reached out to me via email Saturday asking if I needed any help and I relayed to him what happened and he said he would look into this further for me, come to find out the vehicle was sold I am guessing Friday or Saturday morning which is why James or Cris did not want to get back to me. Talk about a shady a$$ dealership and sales staff to deal with. PJ, based on the small amount of time you helped me goes a long way which is truly appreciated and it's unfortunate the rest of the sales staff like Cris is this bad. Save your time and look elsewhere. read more

I had a decent experience for the purchase of 2015 Honda Civic. I believe the name of gentleman who helped me was Bruno. He provided excellent customer service and was patient with my purchasing needs. The only con was how they tried to place me with a more expensive car but it was out of my budget, which I understood yet they tried to get me to purchase that car even though it was not within my budget. Once they realized I was not going to budge on that purchase, they went to a less expensive car which turned out to be my Honda Civic. Also, when I returned for my oil change 6 months later they didn't top off my fluids like they said they would. Aside from those kinks, the customer service is good and I love my reliable Honda Civic! read more

Update: The dealership ended up handling this situation very well after the fact. I am very thankful to Sean and impressed by their professionalism. I would have much rather avoided the entire situation as my previous interactions at this dealership were relatively good, but I was very pleased with them making it right. read more

My husband and I had a horrible experience here. This review is long overdue, I bought my car in November 2017 and through the entire process, I was bounced around between 6 different people. The "sales" guy gave me one agreement price, got it approved by his manager, then I somehow got sat down with another guy, and the agreed upon price changed, I was confused by it but let it slide. The sales guy sat me down and told me the "numbers" guy would be by shortly to finish everything up. Now that the initial sale agreement was made, I was left waiting for the finalization for over an hour before anyone took me back. Upon sitting down with the "numbers" guy, different warranties were pushed on me, my husband was firm that we wanted to keep things at a certain price and declined the warranties. The man helping us would pull his screen back, changed numbers around and try again, since my husband told him no a second time, the guy started changing numbers but only turning his screen enough for me to see it and attempting to keep my husband away from it. In the end we were pressured into some extended warranty with the promise that it covers "everything" as well as complimentary towing if anything happens. I wish we would've just walked out. 2 days after getting the car, I get a call from Showcase Honda telling me that they need me to come in and sign a couple more things. When I asked what they were, they were short with me on the phone and told me it was urgent, so we agreed upon 6pm that same day. When my husband and I got there, all employees just stared at us when we walked in and none of them attempted to greet us. We had to get someones attention and tell them that we had an appointment with a certain salesman. It took 20 minutes for the salesman to even come out and greet us, making it well past 6pm. Once the salesman greeted us, he told us he was going to go grab the paper work and he'd be back. My husband and I waited another 40 minutes before we literally watched the sales guy sneak out a side door. At this point we were frustrated and chose to walk out. The next day I get a call from another salesman who has the nerve to be stern with me on the phone telling me that I was scheduled the day before with a specific salesman and I didn't show up. I told him what happened and how many people we had worked with at this point, he apologized and told me he was one of the managers and would take care of us personally if we came back in. Upon going back in, we were introduced to this manager, who then put us in a room with ANOTHER manager and left. The manager tells me that we have to sign a couple more things, changing the price on the car again. We told him we did not feel comfortable with this and we would also like to redact the extended warranty, he told us this was not an option anymore since we had driven the car off the lot, but would give us gas cards AND gift cards for dinner to make up for the trouble. On the way out the door, the manager told us he would mail us the gift cards, I thought that was weird at the time, but didn't say anything. It has been 8 months and I never received any gift cards. On top of it, my car battery died already, and upon taking it in, I'm told my battery needs to be replaced along with the brake rotors and that neither of these things would be covered under the extended warranty that the salesman promised me covered ANYTHING under the hood. Buying a vehicle through Showcase Honda has by far been the worst customer service and experience I've ever had. read more

I only have experience with the service department. 1) They overcharge you for basic things ($70 to change a cabin air filter, for instance, is which is about $8-12 in parts and 1 minute of your time) 2) They recommend and aggressively sell service that either A) doesn't need done at all B) may need done soon, but not now. I've overheard them in the waiting room trying to sell expensive and unnecessary "services" like the "fuel system cleaning" to unsuspecting customers, and even heard one of their people trying to get someone to think about buying a new car from them. Sleazy. 3) They are very very slow. Always get a second opinion before doing any service with them. Recently they told me that my Civic's CV boot was cracked and "spilling grease everywhere", and needed replaced. It's a common problem to have with Hondas. There were also other front end suspension issues that "needed to be fixed ASAP". All told their estimate was around $700 for all this. I took it to a local independent Honda/Acura mechanic and was told none of that was required now or even soon--just to keep an eye on it when I do oil changes. In fact, Showcase's statement about "leaking grease" was BS. Steer clear, take your Honda to any other of the many independent Honda service shops in the valley. read more

Great buying experience. Started on internet and got very aggressive pricing right off the top from internet sales manager, Ollie. Another dealer had exact same car, could not get them to come close to matching it even with their "we won't be undersold" and "best deal in town guarantee." Went to Showcase and Ollie got us going with with Adan who was great. They never tried to shift deals and respected out decision to not want to answer monthly payments when we were getting a quote for trade in. We finalized the deal when Roscoe approved final increase on trade in which was on high end of KBB value, specially taking tax savings into account. They are set up like a traditional dealership but if you are informed, let them know you are and you should be happy with the experience whether you buy or don't. read more

I have bought 5 Honda's from showcase over the last 16 years. Although they are typically great cars, the dealers leave much to be desired. Sadly our last Civic was stolen. My girlfriend purchased the car from Showcase and was assured it had a fancy anti theft device on it made by rock ledge security. We paid extra for it and was assured it was superior even to LoJack. When we called the company to report the car stolen they assured us that they would pay the difference for an upgraded car that we would get to replace the Civic. Of course none of this is true. The paperwork for the security system, in the fine print, states that if a "family member or anyone in possession of the keys takes the car", the upgraded guarantee in the replacement car is void. Because it was the purse that was stolen we were out of luck. The worst part is that Showcase was unable and unwilling to help. Never returned phone calls, never an explanation why they ripped us off with a system that doesn't work and certainly I will never return here. 5 cars I have bought from here and not even a sorry we sold you a crap product that we won't stand behind. In summation, rock ledge security doesn't actually find stolen cars. They simply collect your money and pass you on to their legal department. Showcase Honda sells the crap product and won't return a phone call. Save yourself the headache and useless service and get a Toyota. read more

I only had a little over 4 months left on my current car when the transmission took a poop, I was planning to get another car after I paid my Nissan off......let's just say that this was not in the cards right now. I looked a several dealerships and Showcase had the best pre-owned inventory, I contacted them and explained my situation and they said they could possibly help me. I found a ride to the dealership, when I got there I was partnered up with VJ in the sales department. He was very helpful & listened to what I was looking for!! He found me a 2016 Hyundai in RECORD time!! He was so awesome!! I was then partnered with Trey in the finance department who not only found a finance company for me, got my payment lower and my APR lower!! When it comes to a giant dealership like this you're either going to hate it, or love it. There's no medium. I would personally not hesitate to recommend SH because my experience was pleasant. They took care of me, and they put me on a car... and ultimately that's the point. This place showcases not only Hondas, but Dodge's, Mini Coopers and a bunch more. I had tried a small dealership before and that did not go so as well. that's for sure :/ But in the end, it all worked out. Manny was patient, even when I wasn't. Michael and everyone in management that worked on my deal were respectful, and I felt always working on my best interest. I have to come back for a minor fix, but I know this won't be a problem. And that says a lot, cause I don't always feel this kind of reassurance about a biz. So feel free to head to SH because in my opinion the best thing they showcase, is good people. read more

Update!!!! I had an appointment to take my van in on Wednesday, October 10th to have another key made and programed and also Greg promised to have the floor mats for me that we not put in the vehicle. Greg called me Tuesday morning and told me his key man was out of town and wouldn't be in until next Wednesday. I spoke with my mechanic about this and he thought it was strange that they only had one person to do the keys. But I told Greg I would be there at 9:30am and did he get the mats for my vehicle. He told me he was working on it. I called Greg this morning as I realized I had another appointment at 10:30am on the 17th of October and would have to leave the dealership by 10:00am. I asked him how long it would take and he said could take up to an hour. I told him I would arrange for a sitter to get my son off to school and I would be there by 9:00am. He agreed on the time. I again asked him about the mats and I still get an answer that he's working on it. I don't know why it should be so difficult to find the mats for this vehicle until they gave them away. The sales girl told me they had them, and I would like them. I will put in another update next Wednesday. Sherill Fenton read more

Showcase Honda - Car Dealers Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I recently bought a used car from showcase honda and it was one of the worst expriences of my life. The salesman whom helped me was a lier and very rude. All of the guys in this dealership work as a team to get me to buy the vehicle whether it was lying to me and my mother just so we would get a better feeling. The sales man who helped me would just say things to me that he had no idea about and was just a compulsive lier. It is really sad how poorly this business is ran. Honda should be ashamed to let there name be used from this company. Not to metion once I had decided to purchase the car from them it took 5 hours for them to complete all the paperwork and finally get me out of there. I hope for people to read this review and listen to me when I strongly say do not go to this place it is disgusting in which they run Shocase Honda read more

Service: I have had nothing but a run-around when dealing with the service department. I bought a certified used car earlier this year. In the sale agreement I was promised a different radio and a spare key. It took me about 3 months to get these things promised to me. I had to speak with several different people in sales, service and parts. It wasn't until I got a manager involved did the problem get resolved Now I am trying to get an armrest installed on my driver seat before making a cross-country drive. I have already called three times and talked to four different people. No one can even tell me if an armrest exists for my car (though I can find it online). There is no consistency and no one follows through with things. I should not have to fight through their system to get stuff done. read more

Just had the joy of getting my $68 oil change for a Honda Accord. Price is exorbitant for a simple oil change, and no car wash or any extra included. Also their is a global pandemic going on with a mandatory mask requirement by the city of Phoenix, however you would not know that by sitting in the waiting area. Out of 16 people I counted 3 were wearing masks. Management should have enforced this policy. Also during my 50min wait the parts dept staff are were heard freely throwing the F word around at high volume in front of customers and kids with no disregard. read more

I have purchased two Hondas at Showcase Honda, and the most recent was a couple of years ago so I get my car serviced here, I would say the service is average. Unfortunately my last service was a complete disappointment. I was going in for an oil change and they gave me a whole list of other things my car "needed". I refused the other services, except the oil change and transmission fluid, and I asked my "advisor" to email me the diagnosis report, which he said he did and when I asked him what email he sent it to he didn't even have an email address. Therefore, I provided him with an email address. After speaking with my dad and taking my car to another auto service shop, it turns out I only needed an oil change. I am not sure what triggers a person to sell things that are not necessary but I will definitely not bring my car back and will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Buyer beware! Multiple members of Sales & Finance teams at Showcase, lied straight to my face. I brought approved financing with me to this dealer from MY BANK. I reiterated multiple times that MY BANK was the financing party, already approved on this deal and that I was not interested in any financing they had on offer. Multiple times, I was reassured by multiple people that MY BANK was the loan holder and that I would be hearing from them shortly. I then received a call from another bank, indicating that they held my loan. Showcase Honda lied over and over, and still ran my credit with opposing banks when I already had financing available. This organization has not given me any indication that there is an honest person in their ranks... I am still waiting for a callback from Showcase with some kind of explanation for their 'miscommunication'. read more

This is my first car and the first review. I bought a used car from this dealership more than 2 weeks back. There were little bit of communication gap after the purchase but overall it was a great experience. I think his name is Kyle, he showed me the car who seems to have lot of knowledge about the car and explained me lot about the after market exhaust n sound systems on which I had very little idea, It was a very good experience. Then there was his manager with whom I negotiated about the price and it went well too. Showcase Honda - My new car - Car Dealers Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

My husband and I wandered in to Showcase Honda one Saturday without an appointment or anything but with just one particular Honda in mind. We got there around 11am and we were on our way home in our beautiful Honda around 1:30pm. Within those 21/2 hrs, we test drove a couple of cars, chat with our sales rep about pros and cons of choosing one between two cars, took care of the financing arrangements and got info on all the little perks that came with the purchase. It's been 6 months since we got our Honda, and I just dropped my car off at the service center for an oil change and software update plus a bonus wax coating that came with the deal (we'll get free waxing every 6 months for 5 yrs). During the servicing, you can wait in the reception area or you could walk to Starbucks on 16th street to have a little latte while you wait for your car. I love the convenience! Yeah, we're very satisfied with our Honda experience at Showcase Honda. They're very helpful:) read more

Well let me first start by saying that l think that the general population thinks that Auto Dealers are "the bad guys". It is a shame that they have this black cloud hanging over them. Well, everyone (from Manny Hare in sales to Izad Far in service) @ Showcase Honda is definitely not a "bad guy". At first I did have my guard up when going to the dealer but Manny did a great job making me feel at home and the "sales pressure" cliche went away. I was able to test drive whatever I wanted (felt too good to be true) without talking #'s or signing my life away. I was in there hands as I wanted to get out of my car that I still owed on and didn't have the best credit to work with. I was very pleased as they presented me with options. I am extremely pleased with the service department as I did have to take the car in for some minor details after purchase. Everything was done to my liking and that says a lot as I am very detail oriented. Showcase Honda EXCEEDED all of my expectations! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! read more

I think I am getting flagged, I don't know. Either way, here it is again. I don't understand the negative reviews. I have nothing but good things to say about Showcase Honda. I go there for maintenance and have purchased two cars from them. I have family and friends who have as well. I have dealt with at least 10 different sales members over the last 2 years and EVERYONE was respectful and helpful. I was there last night and after hours of negotiation, I ended up keeping my existing Honda due to personal reasons. They worked with me and gave me a REMARKABLE deal but I declined. Even after saying no, the sales team joked around with me and treated me with respect. Nate was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I walked away even more satisfied with Showcase as well as Honda. I always walk away happy from the dealership. I am a Showcase Honda customer for life. I think that people do not ask the right questions when buying or testing a car. I don't think they understand that the car itself is one payment while the added warranties and programs get added while signing the paper work. You can decline them even though they have wonderful programs. I also think people confuse the term "harass" with selling and negotiation. Whether or not people have had a bad experience, I do not respect a review with foul language. When it comes to the Maintenance Department, I have nothing but glowing reviews for them as well. They have a comfortable waiting area with free refreshments and free wifi. If you do not feel like waiting you can be driven back to wherever you came from and then picked up. The service members are very clear and open with costs as well as the necessity of repairs. The costs are competitive too. The deals at Showcase have proved helpful to me. The team members make sure to lay down a protective paper in the foot area and on my seat during maintenance. You can also get a free car wash and vacuum. I have dealt with so many service members that I cannot name a specific one but they are all helpful and respectful. Again, I do not understand the negative reviews. read more

Buying a car is a fairly miserable experience in my opinion, and I walked into Showcase ready to hate everyone in there. However, I did have a relatively painless experience buying my 2010 Honda Fit a few weeks ago. I made an appointment ahead of time to see a vehicle that was pulled from their pre-inspection lot for me. As soon as I pulled up (at 730 pm), I was greeted by the salesperson who was expecting me. I had also been called a few minutes earlier to be told that the person I had corresponded with was no longer available but that another salesperson would be there. The exact car I was looking for was parked directly in front of the dealership. I knew what I wanted to buy, so the test drive was a bit of a formality. The negotiation process was annoying, but not so bad considering I got what I wanted. I was able to bargain the price of the monthly payment down by about $100 per month and get a few upgrades for "free." The worst part of the experience was the "back room," i.e., financing, where I was given a long speech about some ridiculous extended warranty that would wind up costing me $30/month for an oil change needed twice a year. Anyway, I was out by 11:30 pm with a new car (exactly the model, trim, color and options I wanted), great financing and a better price than I had predicted. Car salesmen can be horrible, and I'm sure that there are jerks at Showcase. I didn't meet any when I was there, though. They treated me with respect, and we had a perfectly acceptable business transaction. A few more specifics: I wanted floor mats for free and specifically asked my salesman if there would be any "floor mat surprises" after I signed. I should have been more specific and gotten his "no way" answer in writing. Unfortunately, the car did not include floor mats, though it did include a more expensive cargo tray, mud/splash guards, nitrogen inflated tires and a 5-year exterior paint warrant w/ waxing. (I declined the pinstriping for aesthetic reasons only.) Here's the thing...I was mad about the floor mats, but I got keyless entry for free AND the parts department honored an online-only price for the mats, which I got at about 35 percent off retail. This took no haggling at all. I honestly really like getting my car serviced at a Honda dealership. I traded in a '95 Accord that had been serviced at the dealership for 15 years. Based on my experience with Showcase, I'll likely go back for at least the first few oil changes and brake work. We'll see how it goes. If they continue to be respectful, friendly and honest, they'll keep my business. read more

We just had the best car buying experience ever!!!! I went on line first for the car I wanted and then few agents from different dealers called me. Although I brought my car in at 12:50pm for an oil change I received my car back at 2:14pm However, the customer service here is why I gave them 5 stars. The front lady in the waiting room was very friendly and nice and made sure I was taken care of before leaving. Travis Kernats was very helpful as well. On more than on occasion I had (random) staff ask me if I was taken care of or if they could help and I liked that. The time for the oil change is lengthy but this is a dealership so I understand there's a lot of people so my suggestion would be to drop your car off and go somewhere (they do provide transportation if you need it with no cost I believe) but overall happy with the customer service. Thank you guys :) I appreciate it. read more

I have recently been shopping around for a Honda CRV and visited 3 dealerships including Showcase Honda. Showcase Honda was the only dealership that offered the most inventory, the best price, and was not into the phone tag games as the other two. Everyone was extremely friendly and I have to say, throughout my experience in purchasing vehicles, I could not have met anyone nicer than Sam Marshall. Sam did not hassle in my selection, was very accomodating, and very patient. We sat and negotiated on prices and in other dealearship, you may be accosted by two or three different managers; whereas at Showcase, it was just Sam. NOT TO MENTION the great affordable price. I would definetly recommend that you take a look at showcase when you are comparing prices. This is one place where they treat the customer as if they were family!!! They even have a kids play area and spacious floorplan for those shopping with families. Thanks Showcase, Ken 2012 Honda CRV-EX read more

A simple oil change service was enough to turn me away from this place for good. I called ahead to confirm that they take Arrowhead Honda coupons and the person on the phone said that they honored it. So I show up and this pompous gentleman completely denies it all. Even my "scheduled" appointment wasn't found on their hard copy listing. Finally, we agree on a price. Yet after the service, which took 3 hours for an oil change, the out-of-the-door price was significantly higher than previously agreed upon. The employee I dealt with specifically barely came out of his AC'd office to deliver serviced cars to his own customers while other employees walked circles around him. The reputation of Showcase Honda is pretty accurate as it turns out. read more

This dealership overall deserves a bad rating. They really do try to scam you out of your money. I got a 15,000 service completed yesterday....I thought it would entail more from what the service tech had said, however, when I looked at the paper work a lot of what was done was "inspection". So I paid you $293 to look at my car? It was truly a scam and they got me. The only thing I'll be doing with my car going forward are oil changes and tire rotations. This is probably the worse Honda dealership I have ever been in my life, it's a SCAM they treat you like crap. I am not going to lie our salesman there was excellent but the financial advisor Gilbert was so rude and disrespectful, he got mad because we didn't wanna purchase any type of "coverage" etc. He was literally forcing us to do it, he has totally NO CUSTOMER SERVICE whatsoever. Well making long story short our plates never arrived home like they promised, so we went to the "MVD" found out our license plate arrived at the dealership 2 weeks before, not only that but Sr. STEVE PEÑA refused to gave it to us because according to him he STOP THEM FROM ARRIVING TO OUR HOME! He was worse because he threatening us by saying "he would cancel our plates and he knows where we live" if we do not pay some down payment that he claimed to be his money! This "man" talked so bad about the receptionist disclaiming that "she was just one of his employees but she was an idiot and had no idea what she was talking" I cannot believe this type of "jerks" are able to work as desk managers on a prestigious dealership as it is HONDA. Because this type of humans people like us prefer to do business somewhere where they actually shows respect for us. As we were leaving he said to other associate "this is how you treat Hispanics" This review is to let all of you know what kind of "Service this pieces of humans will offer you" STOP AND THINK BEFORE YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. By the way my friend who is a lawyer disclosure that No dealership has the right to Cancel your plates if in the contract appears as you paid for them already. Do not shop here. There are many reputable dealerships in the valley. Do not waste your time here. Now that we've had this bad experience I read through other reviews and it is common for them to lure people in to the dealership to see vehicles they do not have. We found a used Infinity and made a plan to go see it. We took two cars, drove all the way there to see the car. My husband spoke with the sales guy last night and again twice today. He said "come on down, it's here for you to see!". BTW they are making NO ATTEMPT TO SOCIAL DISTANCE. Most of the employees were wearing a mask over their mouth but not nose or, they had it hanging off their ear. They put us in a tiny cube where we were all way too close. After leaving us there for 20 minutes the guys came back and said there was no car. He got very defensive. Clearly he had played this game before.
