I could give 0 star because of horrible treatment from Devon service manager. Very mound when talking drawing attention and basically forcing me to leave without answering questions. He refused to explain what was done to my car and told me to drive off as my car was lined up to leave telling me to go home and call back. No records of my request for my car service, wasted my time telling Austin what needed w be fine if my concerns I had for review, when I hit there after a long drive from Gilbert, workers didn't know what I was there for refusing service as Austin did not make notes for follow up. Very rude customer service, ill treatment for customers. I work for the state gov. Totally wrong treatment with lies and lies, Devon told me they don't look at tire pressure with oil change and me to come back. Devon was very loud when talking telling me to call with questions and ask what service was done . Safety issues at this location!!! Authorities need to investigate this place. Staff racist and sexist. There was a guy behind my car honking continuously for my car to be removed, Austin told me to leave, Devon got in my car driving itradically and screeching tires , drove to the parking lot , without telling me if my wobbly tires were looked at. I called the staff to protect me from the maniac but Austin did not come and just waived and no staff helped. The African American staff finally came to talk to the maniac driver who was honking. Then I had another separate appointment to get tired " checked ", the African American service dealer told me that all my car tires were deflated to look at and the mechanic forgot to put air back at the capacity of 35, instead he put it to 29. Earlier I had told Austin that I was going to drive to California and to see if pressure was at correct amount, he said it was ok and told me to leave, I couldn't drive back home safely and had to return to showcase Honda only to find out Austin lied the mechanic had to put correct amount of air. read more

So Lindsay responds: we don't make anyone buy options. Typical dishonest reply. The car had the options included already. But Lindsay failed to reflect those added costs in her internet pricing. Instead I drove 90 minutes to be jerked around, lied to, and offered a car advertised for l~$11k for ~ $16k. Anyway you choose to spin it, they are dishonest. Don't send your mom or any unsophisticated buyer to this dealer. read more

The experience I had at this dealership started out terrible, but ended on a pleasant note. I was getting my previous car serviced at Chevy next door and decided to walk over to Honda to look at a 2020 accord sport. My husband was with me and if we found a car we liked, he was going to be the one to buy it. Julia, the best sales person ever, was the first person out the door to help us. Other sales people just looked at us and did not try to help. We ended up finding a really nice accord sport and decided to go for it. Most of the paperwork was completed (not the financing paperwork yet) and the car was almost ours. My husband does not have a valid license due to a DUI and it states that on his license. That does not matter, because he will never drive the vehicle and I will be the only insured driver. He was just purchasing the vehicle for me. Before going into the financing managers office, he came up to my husband and started questioning him about his license. My husband asked if there was an issue with it and the deal, but the finance manager exclaimed there was no issue. Then another manager came over and started questioning him about the license as well. Long story short, the deal fell through. Why was this issue not dealt with before his credit was ran? We should have been notified as soon as it was seen that his license was not valid. I left angry, but stayed in contact with Julia. I ended up finding someone else to help me with the vehicle and I went back the next day to purchase. Attention to detail is everything. Also, the main manager, I believe his name is Gustav (or something like that) is incredibly rude. I understand you want to make sales and cut straight to the point, but you need to learn how to mask the aggressiveness. The people who bought the car for me, also purchased a newer vehicle themself. Gustav was extremely pushy and rude to them, which is insane. They just purchased one vehicle from you and were about purchase a second all in a matter of a few hours. Lastly, I had to work that night and needed someone to follow me home in my new vehicle. I did not trade in my previous car and did not want to just leave it at the dealership. The original plan was for Julia to follow me home and I'd give her a ride back. Those plans changed when my accompanying party decided to purchase a vehicle through Julia as well. Gustav basically threw a fit and tried to appoint another salesperson to help the people who came with me. The way he acted towards Julia was absolutely disgusting, and if I ever had someone treat me that way, I'd walk out. If it was not for Julia, I would have never purchased from this dealership, regardless if it had my dream car or not. Thank you Julia for making this experience awesome!!!!! read more

******FRAUD ALERT ******* I do not use the word fraud lightly. If you have leased a Honda and bought out your lease at the dealership, you should check if you were scammed out of thousands of dollars. How it happens: I was nearing the end of my lease and went in to see new vehicles while I was there for a routine maintenance. My car model hadn't changed so I told the salesguy I would probably just write a check and buy out my vehicle. He said he could help with that and asked me if I was willing to do it when I picked up my vehicle from service. I said okay and returned later in the day. I knew what my payoff was from Honda. It was 29k. They came out with paperwork for 33k and said taxes, dealer adds and doc fees. I told them I do not want to pay any adds or doc fees to buy my own vehicle, but I figure everyone has to pay taxes. While the salesman was "negotiating" to get the adds off, I called Honda Financial to see if taxes were included in my 29k payoff. They said YES, it is included and if I write them a 29k check, I will get a deed in the mail with a bill of sale that shows exactly how much of the 29k were taxes.  The breakdown was approximately 29k payoff ( $26,700 principal, $2,300 taxes).  They tried to charge me $33,000 ($29,000 principal, $2500 tax, $1000 adds).  Instead of allowing me to buy out my lease, they were SELLING me my own vehicle at a profit to themselves.  Ironically, my wife had left in the Honda after the maintenance so they were literally "selling" me the vehicle at home in my garage. So in conclusion:  My buyout was $29,000 plus about $400 in registration but they attempted to sell me my own vehicle for $33,000 to make a $3,600 profit for themselves.  It's easy to fall for it because it seems logical to pay taxes and the Honda statement does not indicate that the payoff includes taxes.  These guys have zero integrity and I'll bet there's a long list of their own customers they have scammed. Edit: Previously had a 5 star review for purchasing two leases from there over the years. Needless to say, I will never do business with them again. read more

If you are looking for probably the best car shopping experience of your life, ask for Chris G. He is knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, respectful, and overall an enjoyable person to work with. The car I wanted to test drive was pulled up and running by the time I arrived at the dealership. Chris was outside waiting for me and had found multiple options of vehicles similar to the one I drove at different price points to give me an idea of what my money was going towards. It was obvious that he was prepared. THANK YOU CHRIS!!! I couldn't ask for a more positive experience. read more

Showcase honda is awesome! They had the exact trim, color, and interior I wanted. My saleswoman, Deneen is the best! She helped me choose the model that fit me best. I would recommend her to family and friends looking to buy a new car. My grandparents have been buying their Honda's from her for years and they love them. Also, the service department rocks. My favorite perk is that they wash your car when you take it in for a service. I would highly recommend buying your next car here! read more

On Monday, February 19th, I called Showcase Honda to setup a service appointment to replace the instrument panel. I was transferred to Caleb. Having had our car serviced there before, he found me in the customer list, then put me on hold to ask the parts department to order the part. He came back in a reasonable time & told me they didn't have the part in stock, so would have to order it. It would take no more than a week to come in. We agreed it would be best he call me when it comes in. The following Tuesday, February 27th, no call from Caleb so I called him. He forgot he was supposed to call me. He put me on hold while he called the parts department to check the status of the part. He returned & told me it's still not there yet. That it would be best if I go in so he could associate my account with the part, ensuring that no one else got the part. I said I couldn't make it in until Friday, March 1st. Friday, ~15:00, I go in. Caleb is on the phone, so Cathy, a female service advisor who has a desk near Caleb's asks me if she can help me. Major attitude when asking me if she can help that only gets worse as we talk. She looks at my record, can't find anything, & tells me that clearly the parts department is where I need to go. I go to the parts department, & they can't find any record of ordering the part either, so I return to Caleb's desk. Cathy sarcastically asks me if I couldn't find the parts department. I retorted as strongly "Yea right! I couldn't find the parts department" and turned away from her. Caleb gets off the phone and looks for the order. He then tells me I didn't need to come in after all. He could associate the part with my account. He couldn't find the part being ordered, so he called parts to confirm. When done, he tells me that the part has not been ordered. I then state that he didn't need to have me come in, but didn't tell me, & most of all, in the past ten days, he never ordered the part! He said "Yes, that is correct. We would need you to buy the part beforehand." I ask him why he didn't tell me that ten days ago. Without apologizing, he shrugs it off & asks if I would like him to order it now. I said "No way. I will go to another Honda dealer." I then walk over to the service manager's desk, and ask him, Shawn Hoopes, if I may speak with him outside. I tell him all that's gone on then lightly touch him on the shoulder in the manner that suggests "good job buddy." He says "Don't hit me.[1]" I said "I didn't." He said 'You did." At that point I told him he's permanently lost a customer, got in my car & drove away. read more

Quoted one price then the price jumped 2k for "add ons", I had no interest in, then was told they could remove them, but them told "they're already installed". Dealership offered a $500 Visa card for buying a new Honda, but then I'm told it was part of the deal. Salesman then tried to bribe me with a free oil change if I gave them all 10's on the dealer survey!! Won't be back there for anything! 2019 CRV and worst dealer experience I've ever had. *****Called the contact at the dealership, Per their request ***** Told her about the dishonesty of the pricing and options deal. She was going to investigate, then emailed me less than 24 hours later to advise, I wasn't entitled to the gift card. I didn't ask for the card! It was a waste of time. Dealership is abysmal on all levels. Luckily, there are other dealers in the area. read more

To the sales manager working who was very unprofessional. Wasted my time and gas. I was looking to purchase and the whole sales team was wasting time and gas during the whole process. Sales man was competente to say the store sells broken vehicles and works the repair cost into the price. The price is already including additional fees on top of fees for claims of dealer repairs. Buyer beware. Do not shop this location. The entire row of lots on camelback are the same owner. Don't waste your gas to see a damage vehicle being sold at retail price and they won't negotiate. The sales manager said they will never lose money to make it right and will sell a lemon car which is illegal but he didn't care. It's unfortunate and unreasonable and a big waste of time to travel to camelback dealers. Hope this helps someone. read more

I hate and loathe car shopping and that is the only reason I held onto my 2007 Honda Civic for this long. I am impressed with Honda Civic and promised to get another Civic if and when I absolutely have to get another car. 11 yrs and 170,000 miles later, it was time. Jonathan Chiazzo (aka Cheese) in sales made the whole process almost enjoyable, certainly tolerable. When negotiating the price and upgrades, he gave us no hassles, only "lets make it happen" attitude. The only negative part was in financing department when things took sooo long with all the papers and signatures which is to be expected but to top it off, we were met with a huge negative attitude when we turned down the extended warranty. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth about the whole buying experience. Thank you Jonathan for taking good care of us. You deserve a 5 star review if it wasn't for the financing dept incident and making me feel guilty for not signing up with the warranty. read more

Horrible car buying experience thus far. These sales people will use the typical dishonest sales tatics on you. There is a reason why this dealership has low ratings. We met David who was pleasant at first up until negotiations. He warmed us up indicating that this particular weekend was not a good sales weekend, that we were one of the first few people to come in this morning and he would be willing to negotiate a good price for us. Implying that we have an advantage and he would be willing to work with us. When we started negotiating price, he presented the opposite of a good deal and his personality did a complete 180. He started becoming aggressive, argumentative, incredibly rude and unprofessional. He made an unnecessary comment. I was so shocked and asked why he was being so rude and he spat back he observed "a look and a smirk" which he completely misread. It was so unprofessional and unexpected, I just walked out. This negative experience gives me the incentive to write this review. I've been to other dealerships in the valley who treated potential clients with more respect than this. I'm leaving a review here because I have never been treated this way before and to warn people about this place. read more

Today was the worst day ever all because Showcase Honda F*CKED me over. This is a sign to not buy a car from Showcase Honda. My day began at ten am. My sales and leasing consultant did not show up until well after twelve, so another sales and leasing consultant took over. I had already knew what car I wanted, so I was just figuring out pricing. After compromising for several excruciating hours, I signed and was going to be on my way. Unfortunately, that car I signed for was sold earlier, so I was out of luck! I then was told the specific model and trim I wanted was unavailable, so my original sales and leasing consultant tried getting me to buy a more expensive car. After continuously explaining I was firm on my choice, he suddenly offered the car I wanted from another location. Hours later for some reason I was still waiting!? I had to provide numerous documentation, change them to PDF, and send them to different emails/numbers. I was so exhausted, told my insurance was acceptable, and then it wasn't! I was asked to buy insurance on the spot for the car, was relayed to a broker, and then the broker tried charging me for their services even though it was recommended to me by sales and leasing consultant. I started getting frustrated, took a break to cry in the bathroom, and then had to wait even longer for the business manager. When he was finally ready to speak to me, I burst into tears because I was so confused and frustrated. As a first time car buyer, I felt unappreciated and uncared for. I spent over an hour getting more paperwork together, such as my last paystubs. The business manager felt bad and offered me some discounted coverage, but I denied because it was a poor deal to make up for my shitty day. When I was finally ready to go home, my sales and leasing consultant informed me that I could not take the car home because I needed a co-sign, something they could have told me much earlier! I got home at six pm, no car, depressed, and angry. The sales manager followed up with me, gave me information for my new found co-signer, but left the office as he was helping me. Now I have to wait for tomorrow. I want to note that I left today with no car, a lowered credit score, and I put down $5,000! NEVER AGAIN. read more

Showcase Honda - The picture shows the unnecessary charge of "sales taxes" and "options", a total scam! Their vehicles are being up charged significantly - Car Dealers Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

My first stop in shopping for a Honda HRV 2022, they added an additional $4000+ to the MSRP, lots of back and forth "let me talk to my manager", exhausting experience. I was told because of short supply the price of the car has to be higher. I go to Tempe Honda, one sales person and the price on the same car was sold to me at MSRP. I would not waste your time here, other dealers in the valley also in short supply but not up selling. read more

Even though I didn't buy the vehicle from Showcase Honda, but my experience with them was good. I have also told them that my friend already bought the same vehicle from somewhere else and got a great deal but they were unable to get to that deal. This is the last time I visit here to service my 1 year old CR-V. On a normal maintenance visit for fluids and filters, the service manager quoted one price and the final bill was significantly higher. He also insisted the car was unsafe to drive without performing the upcharged service. It was very unprofessional and deceptive- it appears service managers are paid based on revenue generated, not on taking proper care of my car and communicating honestly with customers. When will car dealerships like Showcase realize selling cars and servicing cars with integrity is what counts with people? I will not buy any more cars from Showcase or return here for service on my near new CR-V. Other reviews here are reflecting similar experiences with Showcase- I wish I had read them prior to this visit. read more

BEWARE. Not even sure where to begin! I sold my Honda to them and was told that my check should be in on the start of the next week because they needed to pay off my loan first. Keep in mind, my loan was through Honda. I didn't love the idea of leaving my car with them without a getting a check first and Matt Finn reassured me that "A big dealership would never damage their reputation over a $20,000 car" this was just foreshadowing. I waited two weeks only for them to give me a bad check. I called my bank to ask what was going on & was told they have MULTIPLE accounts without funds and the check bounced. I called Honda immediately and they all swear this has "never happened". After much back and forth they said the funds will be good on the following Monday. NOPE. The bank had this transaction flagged as well due to the first check bouncing. All Honda needed to do was answer the call from the bank and confirm a few details to have the money released. Shockingly that was a hard ask from them. After another few days of being hung up on & being dismissed I flew back home and went into Honda myself. I literally had to threaten to call the police and report my car stolen to get them to do the bare minimum and answer the call from the bank. The lady who handles finances was apparently "on vacation" and the GM has "no idea this was even going on". A check bounces and you don't even know what's going on? He actually told me "There is no reason to be upset" which is just hilarious. This was the BIGGEST headache. The only reason I didn't sell private party was to avoid something like this happening and it was truly a nightmare. Took three weeks and a fight to get the money the owed me. Would never go here again or ever buy a Honda again. read more

This is a dishonest dealership. We've never gotten this kind of runaround from Honda. The listed price of the vehicles are not the actual price. My experience at Showcase Honda was very disappointing. The first person who helped me was Obed who was very kind and helpful. However the next person who helped me, Austin, was frankly a jerk. They had taken my car out for a test drive and when they returned, Obed spoke to me and made their offer very respectfully and I declined, which is not what upset me. As I was walking out to my car, I saw Austin taking a photo of a sticker on my bumper and laughing at it. Regardless of his or anybody's personal views, it was extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. As I continued to walk towards my car, he nervously laughed (because he'd realized I'd caught him) and asked if I was heading out chuckling with his work buddies. Although it may not seem like a big deal to some, these interactions made me uncomfortable and made an already intimidating place for women feel even worse. I wish I would've said something in that moment but I felt ridiculed and it's not fair. It may seem exaggerated to go this far because of a sticker, but it's little moments like those that make the biggest impression and I don't want women to continue being silent about things that make them uncomfortable. And if you're reading this Austin, nice receding hairline. read more

I can only describe show case Honda as being Dante's fourth level of hell. The greed that possess the employees here is frightening. I only buy used cars and I always pay cash. I would have never stepped foot into this monstrosity if it was't the recall on my airbags. I usually repair and do maintenance on my own cars and so I would say I know my way around cars. I almost walked out of anger after overhearing Dan talk to some of the other customers about their cars. First, he is saying that she needs to replace her struts because her mechanic never installed the "bump stud". A bump stud is a bonding agent inside of solid state hard drives. THERE IS NO BUMP STUD IN YOUR SHOCK/STRUT SYSTEM! This guy has the nerve to tell this elderly woman that her car needs to replace her struts and stop seeing her mechanic and bring her car only to the dealership! I've replace my struts. It takes time but isn't difficult and they come pre-made. It would take an absolute moron to mess it up and the driver of this car would have known something was wrong before she even made it off the lot. Then, Dan comes back in and says the engine mount is lose and her car is a total death trap for her son to be in. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS GUY?!? Yea your engine needs to be tight on the mount but its not a death trap at this point. Her car will not explode. She will be fine and so will her son. They do nothing but try to make you believe that your car is out to kill you and your family if you don't buy their "premium oil change". This is a horrible company. Their employees are a total sh*t show. Showcase Honda should be avoided at all costs. When they are done with my car I'm ripping out my airbags. They probably shorted the fuse and won't work anyways because I refused to let them run a $130 diagnostic. **Update** It's been a little more than a month. I've been called 5 times by showcase. Twice about the review and the other three about them wanting me to come in for "complimentary" services. Each and every time I have asked them to not call me again. They continue to do so anyway. So I recently had to buy a car for my wife since her old car was totaled. We used the settlement check for a down payment on a used car here. So we bought the car last Thursday and during the test drive we noticed something was off with the car wanting to start so the dealer said to bring it back as soon as we can so they can get that taken care of. We brought it back Saturday morning and they said they were so busy And if we could schedule an appointment for Monday morning. I brought the car on Monday morning and waited for a few hours until they said they had to replace some stuff and they'll need the car until Wednesday. Tuesday comes along and they said there's been a change of plans and the car won't be ready til Thursday night. And today I get a call saying the car won't be ready until next Tuesday now. So basically they sold us a car that wasn't ready and we haven't been able to drive it since we bought it.
