I went here today for breakfast, and discovered the best corned beef hash, ever! And if that wasn't enough, they serve bagels and cream cheese, which are hard to find in downtown LB. My friend had the potato pancaskes, they were little discs of heaven with apple sauce and sour cream. The bartender/server Denise, was awesome! She made us feel as if we were guests in her "home". Never ever again! Food was ok, nothing too special, I've had better service at the worst of fast food restaurants. Sat down waitress asked our drink order and said she would return with our menus, dropped off drinks but no menus figured she'd be back with menus, after 10 minutes, and a new customer next to is receiving menus we had to ask again for menus. After waiting for over an hour we had to ask where our food was - there was 5 of us and our order consisted of burgers, salad and chicken strips we were told that "everyone ordered at the same time" Food finally came and they tried to give us something we didn't order so we thought it was the wrong order, our server comes back and says oh that's what I thought you ordered, but if you want the strips it's going to be 45 minutes. Umm no thanks. About 5 minutes after we get our food the table next to us that sat down at least 30 minutes after we did gets their food. I should have just gone to the food shack next door. I came to this place on a Wednesday when it wasn't really busy with a group of 5 people. It took about 30 mins for us to get seated and there was no one at the front door for a while. I felt that the both of the waiters we had gotten were very rude and every time we asked a question we were met with a snarky remark. Such as my friend asked how big is the the tater tot bowl for it being as expensive as it was and she responded very sarcastically it has to be big. I myself got the grilled cheese a tomato soup which is usually my go to at most restaurants and the soup got to me warm and not hot and the cheese on my sandwich was not melted either. Also it was a little weird that the tomato soup was really spicy and kind of tasted like marinara sauce instead because it was warm. My friends got two different sandwiches and their sides were completely mixed up and the fries were extremely undercooked. Either way I do not think I would return here in the future. read more

My friend and I entered through the patio section and chose to sit inside due to it being a little cool. Greeted fairly quickly. Jack & cran for her, racer 5 for me. Crab cakes for appetizer. They weren't bad. Didn't have too high of expectations for them. It's not that kinda place. She ordered the cheeseburger with avocado and bacon. The actual burger got lost somewhere in there. I had the Reuben. A little more corned beef and sauerkraut would of made it more enjoyable but not bad. I had to go to the bar and get some bbq sauce and another drink for my friend. Our server was super busy doin shots on the seating area near the bathroom but the bartender was helpful in the meantime. As a service professional I was pretty offended. The bus boy seemed to be more of the server then our actual server. But as a fellow server, I gave the proper gratuity but decided to tell you all about this experience. Husband and I stopped for dinner there yesterday 6:15 pm. I have been here a few times before. I enjoy the view from patio. My husband and I both ordered a dish and to drink we both wanted water. We were told by our server ( Derek is what receipt says) they only serve bottle water. We could not just get a glass of tap water. We had to buy bottled water. I have never ever heard of any restaurant not giving customers a glass of water if requested. And I am not confused this was not a misunderstanding. Server was clear. Our only option if we wanted water to drink w our meals was to buy a bottle of water. So we paid $1.50 per bottle of water. Terrible policy. Is it really worth losing a customer for a $3 Upsell ?
