I can't say enough good things about this place. It was always my favorite but was just fantastic when we catered for a graduation party. The pulled pork, chopped brisket, spinach quiche were fabulous as usual. The kids couldn't get enough of the macaroni and cheese. We received many compliments and a new item for us - the southwest corn salad everyone loved. Adults and kids kept coming back all night to grab just a little bit more - needless to say - not one bit was left over. I have been to this place a few times now and have always had a short wait. That means others think like me and like the food here. The burnt end sandwich was a big hit the last time I was here and the sauces are so tasty that I bought 6 gift baskets (all four sauces with a gift card in a nice basket) for the holidays for my friends and family. The free pickles and ice cream are always a plus for the kids and the sides with the fresh cream corn being my favorite are awesome. I like BBQ food and I like the customer service aspect that adds to the food experience especially at the restaurants like Sharko's. However, I m compelled at not giving them the 4*s as I still have to try the entire range of their menu at the peak of its availability. I have tried the brisket which unfortunately was dry and smelled a lot like gasoline / starter fluid. Their ribs were on the dry end as well however were flavorful. Theirs sides are enjoyable especially the corn bread, baked beans, fries, and sometimes free ice cream that keeps the kids occupied and enhances their experience. Top it off with some of the well balanced bbq sauces, home made pickle and a very friendly staff - definitely is a plus. Their can't miss dish so far for me and family is their pulled pork sandwich which they really stuff very well. Though the pork can get a bit dry and I would love if they would have an option to toss the meat w/ sauce prior to putting on the bread, I don't get out without ordering this. This is definitely one of the places that I will try again as I am confident that they are working on getting their fine tuning in place (think they are open for less than 2 years). read more

This place is great! They have delicious pulled pork. The broccoli salad is also very good. The sassy sauce is awesome. The home-made pickles are delicious! I've been eating Sharko's for quite some time now and their food is always delicious. We decided to add a new twist to our already nonconventional Thanksgiving celebration, so we ordered ribs, bacon potato salad, corn muffins, rolls, cranberry sauce, stuffing, a pound of turkey, a pound of pulled pork. Although I don't eat meat on the bone, my boyfriend and father were delighted with the tenderness, quality, substance of meat and flavor. I had the pulled pork and turkey and I would have to say it's the best turkey I've ever had. It was so juicy and full of flavor and did not need any gravy whatsoever. I'm not a big fan of stuffing at all, actually I think it is pretty gross. But I decided to give their stuffing a try and it was amazing and I will eat it again. 2 stars, only for the fries and the sauces which were good. I ordered a pound of rib tips and a side of fries. The sauce options were great, there are 4 to chose from. The rib tips, however, were beyond dry. They were so overcooked if I closed my eyes, I would've sworn I was eating beef jerky. I was extremely disappointed. I will not be returning and I don't recommend this place if you want real joint-style rib tips (rip tips on top of fries, covered in sauce with a slice of bread and a cup of coleslaw on the side). read more

I am so disappointed. I ordered the rib tips today and they are tough. It taste like they did not stay on the grill long enough. Even before I tasted it, It was so obvious that the meat was under cooked. I could see it visually. If I could see that the meat is under cooked, so can the cook see that the meat is under cooked, and so could the person plating it, so why plate it. I ordered the one lb. for $13.00. Such a waste of money. They are not only tough but also they don't have any flavor, because the meat didn't stay on the grill long enough. I had to put the meat in the oven to finish cooking. However even so I managed to get them tender, the smoked bbq flavor was not there cause they did not finish cooking on the grill originally. I feel so jipped! Also the sides are inconsistent. You never know what you are going to get. After three times I give up with this place. I will NEVER go back. Go at your own risk. read more
