Just "ew." Super friendly staff but gross product. Came here for the first time and ordered my favorite Taro Milk Tea. I expected a refreshing, delicious, and purple tea beverage. Instead I got a thick, fake tasting, powder-like drink that was a brownish color. It was so gross I had to just throw it away after a few sips. Defined not coming coming back to try anything else. Sharetea in San Ramon is one of the more consistent tea experiences I have had in the Bay Area. A lot of times there are variances of too little tea/ too little sugar, too much powder. I love sharetea, esp the concord location! When I found out they were opening one right across from my home here in San Ramon I was ecstatic! Sadly, they don't make their drinks as good as the concord sharetea. I know they are new and getting in the rhythm of things..... So I'll just have to wait and see. I feel like the sweetness level is higher here. I'll order the same drink 50% sweet, extra ice and it was still sweet for me. Ordered oolong milk tea once, and got more milk than tea flavor. When asked, staff person says it's supposed to be this way. They must put sooooooo much creamer in there that there's no tea taste. I'm from the SR area & have been coming here for years. I've had friends who've worked at this location & there are many violations that the public should be concerned about. I've always loved the SR sharetea all until Covid-19. On Fridays the store closes @ 10:00pm & I called at 9:30pm to place a togo order. I know this location begins cleaning up an hour early so I decided to call so I wouldn't hear the "We ran out of boba" excuse. After 3 calls of no one answering I arrived to the shop & as my car pulls up, the workers in the back turn off all the lights. By then it was only 9:50pm and the store closes at 10:00pm. Everything was put away with the lights out & doors locked. This location is run by teenagers who close up an hour early just so they can go home. I've worked in the food business for a long time & closing/cleaning is supposed to be after you're closed hours, not before. My experience was completely inconvenient due to this location lying abt it's operating hours & when it does & doesn't have boba. This sharetea definitely needs some fixing for I'll be going & referring ppl to the Dublin location instead. read more

i tried this place for the first time today!! usually i go to cafe tapioca but i happened to be in this part of san ramon and i wanted boba, so i thought why not try it. i got the black pearl milk tea, half sweet and it was sooooo good. my mom got a frozen mango drink (i forgot what its called) and she really liked it. the worker who helped us was super friendly too. i am taking away one star, however, because 1) there arent many drink choices compared to other boba places and 2) they dont serve food like other boba places. i didnt take away more than one star tho, because what they do have (drinks & customer service) is excellent!! read more

The only concern I had on the first day was that the boba was a little too firm for my taste, but when I went back the next day, the texture of the boba was ON POINT! I think this sharetea is slightly inconsistent. Sometimes my drink is watery other times it's powdery. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here especially since T4 is so close to me. So I went in and immediately realized it was a very small location with NO seating at all. But maybe they will get some furniture, who knows. I like to sit with friends and talk and enjoy time together but here I couldn't. To start off I got the Oolong Tea Creama. They filled the cream about 1/3 of the cup which was way too much and made my drink more salty than it should be. And the pearls were really hard too, and I've tried so many other boba places and the pearls were below average. The service was decent for them being new workers. I had to stand the whole time waiting and so did everyone else for their drinks. Nothing bad about the workers, they are nice and work at a decent pace for being new workers. The place just needs help. I'll give them more chances since it just opened. But you would think they'd make the drinks well by now from having so many locations all over California. Honestly I think this place is mediocre- maybe it's my own personal preference but ShareTea always seems to be a hit or miss for me. The tea isn't particularly flavorful (sometimes it's a little too bland), and the boba never has any flavor (which is always a deciding factor in what makes boba good, in my opinion). Maybe they are just a place with better drinks and not a place to get boba. Will likely be back because my dad loves this place, so maybe next time I'll try something different. read more
