I've been here twice and am definitely gonna be back. I tried the honey milk tea, the Okinawa milk tea, and the winter melon. The honey milk tea was a little too sweet for my tastes. Winter melon was my favorite. IMO it's better than Kung fu tea's. Bubbles are nice and soft UPDATE OK GUYS THIS IS MY NEW ALL TIME FAVORITE BUBBLE TEA SPOT. Alright I'm a little biased Bc a lot of my friends work here haha, but IM SERIOUS! You need to try the teas here! My current favorites are the Matcha milk tea with lychee and grass jelly, and the newly released Thai Tea with WHITE bubbles! I don't really know if the white bubbles really taste any different from the regular black ones, but it's definitely fun to look at?? Haha. Word of advice, if you're not really into sweets, I suggest getting it with 50% sweetness(or lower). That's just my personal preference but I think it lets the tea flavor shine through. I really liked Sharetea! They have a lot of options for boba from the traditional tapioca pearls to trendier stuff like ice cream. I'm so glad they have aiyu jelly, it's not super common around here! I got the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea which is absolutely loaded with toppings (I think it has 6 or 7 toppings included), and it's still $4.50 like the other drinks! You can't beat that bang for your buck around here when it comes to boba. I'll be back for sure, but in the meantime I hope they open another location in Falls Church. read more

visiting family in fairfax, coming from houston. idk if houston sets my standards high, but i walked in, NO music, employees weren't talking to each other, and it was a self serve kiosk. very weird not friendly environment. personally not a fan of self serve kiosks because there's literally no human aspect. my sister gets a matcha creamu with toppings and she tries - the drink tasted sour and expired. they said they don't use milk in their drink, okay. but the cream tasted sour and there was barely any matcha (literally white color). the tea doesn't look like it's brewed, it looks instant. the employee kindly remade the drink and the drink overall tasted better, but the cream still didn't taste good. grainy, sure you can taste the salt, but we've tried creams that are smooth and salty not grainy. would not come here again. read more

ShareTea has become my second home! The person who takes orders is always super friendly and welcoming and when you enter, they always greet you with a friendly cheer ~ The drinks I get are like Mango Milk tea or Taro Milk Tea, but my go to is ALWAYS the Honey Green Tea with 30% Honey, Less Ice and Aloe Vera. They never have gotten my order wrong and make the drinks very promptly -- by the way, if you haven't noticed, they HAND SHAKE all their drinks which kinda makes them unique from all the other bubble tea places in the area. It has a very relaxed environment and there's always good music playing in the background. They keep the place really clean and I really LOVE the decoration they have for different seasons! For Halloween they had cobwebs and also ShareTea-themed Tattoos and right now for the Holiday Season, they have a cute little Christmas tree and lights. One of my fave bubble tea places in the whole DMV. Every drink is pretty consistent, toppings are a good drink to topping ratio, the tea base is very good, and prices are not outrageous. I like the menu as it is simple, straightforward, and not too outlandish over the top drinks! Sometimes you just want simplicity - I'm a purist - take me back to a time when boba drinks were just simple, and still taste like tea, not some sugary slop! And KFT is gross for using Lactaid as their milk, and their tea base is just not as good. Gongcha is ridiculously priced for the same drinks and they are so freaking stingy with their toppings. Sharetea is just so much better. And Korean or Viet boba chains or mom and pops generally just don't quite replicate this Taiwanese drink so well. Haven't been here in soooo long!!! The quality is still fantastic!! I love this place so much!! The owner is there so often and the staff has greatly improved!! Sharetea makes me not want to share tea... if you know what I mean. I have been to this location a few times due to it's proximity to my school, and I think it's great! I would not usually come here because it's so far from my house, and the traffic to get here is horrendous! But since I'm in the area, why not?! I love that their drinks have a huge range from milk teas, fruity teas, cremas, blended drinks, and then some new creative additions they have added to the menu more recently. I have been here a few times and my first few impressions weren't the best, but as I kept coming, they kind of redeemed themselves. The first time, I came my friends and I ordered a few drinks, Honey Green Tea, the Classic Black Milk Tea, Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea, and then the Oolong Milk Tea with fresh milk. I didn't really like the drink that much, but I think that it was my fault since I didn't reduce the sugar. Although, I wanted to see how sweet their 100% original drink is, and now I know. For future visits, I kept this in mind. My friends let me try their drinks and they tasted okay, but I think my favorite had to be the Classic Black Milk Tea. Oh another thing that was a turnoff on the first visit, they had no tapioca pearls or boba or they ran out? I had some in my drink but my friend who ordered right after me was told they ran out. Not that impressive for first impression. Although my second visit here, they had a power outage. After going through the menu with me to explain what they could make, I realized there wasn't a lot. But fortunately one drink caught my eye, that was interesting and they said they could make it. They failed to inform me that they were only taking cash before they took the order and started making it...and I only had my card. So I was about ready to walk out, but I think the owners felt bad about what happened and gave me the drink for free. I was okay with even not getting anything, because I understood that they had a power outage, I would have just liked to have been informed before even looking at the drinks or getting the order taken. Nonetheless, I appreciated the gesture. Their Berry Boba drinks are pretty good, and worth a try, made with fresh milk and come in three different flavors. Customer service has improved tremendously since the first visit so points for that! I also really like the wall of stickies that guests can draw or leave a comment behind, it was great as a conversation starter. Unfortunately, they don't have free wifi, though. It pretty much just tasted like regular milk tea, with a slightly more pronounced brown sugar taste in the cold version. Came with my little cousin and tried the handmade taro and qq family. They both were super good. My used to favorite was kungfu tea's winter-melon milk green tea. But after I had the handmade taro fresh milk tea, now it's my new favorite!! They use real taro inside. I don't like mine too sweet so I got all my bubble teas half sweet and shared a couple bubble teas with my co-workers for them to try it out and I think now they are addicted and are going too. On this last trip, my significant other (female) and I ordered our usuals--Handmade Taro with Milk and the Wintermelon Tea Creama. My last trip had me longing for something better in the Taro drink. On this trip, it performed much more remarkably. The taro flavor was there, the sweetness (knocked down to 80%) was just right, and the taro chunks sufficed. I still wish the taro chunks were slightly larger, but I understand that they blend the taro and ice together at the same time. Predicament--larger taro chunks = larger ice chunks. I suppose we can't always win. Although perhaps the "Handmade" taro could actually be mashed up using a pestle and mortar? Hmm... Wintermelon Tea Creama performed as always (extra consistent). Sharetea is a franchise.. I'm hoping more of them open up different locations because I really enjoyed their tea but I'm never on this side of town. Despite that.. I may go out of my way to get their tea again if this remains the only location. I had no idea on what to get but I'm always a fan of a place with really accessible menus. I'm blind as a bat and they have the menu on screen, a large printed one on the cashier, and hand menus. They star recommended drinks so I got the Whole Lemon Green Tea with mini pearls and my boyfriend got the Ice Cream Green Tea. HOLD UP, they have ice cream as a topping! And surprisingly, it worked really well. The ice cream ended up absorbing the unique tea taste as a flavor. I've yet to have seen this at any of the other local bubble tea spots so it's something different they're doing here. The Whole Lemon Tea actually... really had a whole sliced lemon in it. I LOVE LEMONS.. so I love this drink already! I would only change the sweetness because I had 100% normal sweet but I would get it again and knock it down to 50% or 25% sweet to fit my personal taste. I was recommended the mini pearls by the cashier since they're a crowd favorite.. and yes, I can see why. They're small, soft, still chewy and easy to eat compared to regular sized pearls! Since it was my first time having Sharetea I went with the top 10 most popular flavors and got the Hawaii fruit tea. I asked for 30% sweetness cause I personally don't like my teas too sweet and when I tasted it, the sweetness tasted more than 30%. I didn't really mind it but what kinda threw me off was the bits and chunks of pineapple in it I believed? I'm not too sure if it was that but I assumed it was since the drink was "Hawaii" inspired.
