Milk Tea Ice Blended with mini pearls
    Kandis M.

As much as I want to give 5 stars, I've been here enough to say there are a few draw backs too this location. Overall, I love Sharetea for two main reasons, I LOVE the mini pearls, I have yet to find that anywhere else AND they're the only place that does ice blended milk tea! BUT I have noticed recently that their ice blended drinks haven't been up to par. Meaning half of my drink isn't blended enough and there are huge ice chunks at the bottom (not a huge deal but it's happened many times at this point to where I find that an constant drawback and deterrent) In the summer and warmer months, you can always find their location packed with a line of customers. Which is amazing for their business but expect to wait around for your drink as the workers are usually running around trying their best with what always seems like limited staff. They offer limited seating availability inside, so if you're looking to sit somewhere, make sure to come when it's not a busy time because the rest of their customer space has been taken over with storage in the front. I remember they had full seating in front before the pandemic and it was so lovely, but they have yet to open it fully back up again (this isn't a bad thing, just keep it in mind!) Milk Tea Ice Blended with mini pearls is my go to Sharetea drink, otherwise I prefer to go to another boba place that has consistency in their drink making process and less wait time. Overall: 4/5

Taro milk tea with regular bubbles

It's been 2-3 years since I last went to Sharetea, and boy did I miss it. Their taro milk tea is a classic and one I usually got when going, and they are generous with the amount of bubbles they give, which is a plus. My sister also got their ginger milk tea, which surprised me by how good it was. Their range of drinks available is wide, so there's no shortage if you like trying new drinks (and the price is relatively cheap for boba standards).

One of my favorite boba place in VA! If you need some breaks from TeaDM or Kungfu Tea, this is the one! I love their creme collections particularly. If you haven't tried their Chocolate Creme, you haven't even tasted heaven yet Overall service is great! If you have any questions on what goes into a drink, you can ask cashiers, and they will kindly explain. Speed of making drinks was also pretty good It is a small place. There is only one big table inside, so this is a good place if you want a drink to go!

Good bubble tea. I got the special coconut with grass jelly and it was good. Nothing that stood out in particular.

I love Sharetea and wish we had one closer to the Reston area. Of all the bubble tea places around nova, Sharetea is probably in my top 3 list. Their bubbles taste great and are perfectly cooked/sweet. The drinks are also delicious no matter what you get. They have mini pearls unlike other places, and even ice cream as a topping. The service has also always been great and friendly. I love looking through the doodles on their wall and even added one of my own. :)

I had high expectations since I love the Sharetea in DC! Our drinks came out tasting watered-down and is overall mediocre compared to other boba places. The boba itself is very soft and not as good. I will say that the prices are average though, especially compared to other places that are a couple dollars more expensive. It also was not very busy and the drinks came out fast. It's nice for a casual spot but I would go to one of the many other boba places in the area next time.

I'm not usually a huge bubble tea fan but I'm loving the drinks at Sharetea. The Family QQ is our favorite and you can replace any of the 5 ingredients with other toppings if you wish. Loved the small pearls more than the large boba. Husky and taro were good too. Just like other bubble tea places, you can adjust the amount of ice and sugar level. We decided to have 0% sugar for some of the drinks as they are already pretty sweet with red bean and other toppings. 30% is good enough unless you really like it super sweet. Prices are more reasonable for a large drink compared to NYC. We've already come twice in the past two days and may get another one again soon! Yum!!

Whenever I am craving milk tea, I come here! Other than their milk tea selections, I also found their signature mojito and ice blended with ice cream quite refreshing! We got the Honey Milk Tea. I did wanted to try mini boba pearls since the drink does not come with toppings, but they ran out of them towards late afternoon. Although we did not add any other toppings they offered, the drink was still good and the sweetness level was perfect. Their service was quick and their staff were helpful. This place will always remind me of the Sharetea I past by in Taiwan!

If you like boba and have a sweet tooth, I highly recommend this place. The customer service was great, the drinks were delicious I will definitely go there again!!!!

Great place, been going here for at least 6 years and it stayed consistent. Wish the service was better even thought it's fine. The service is not bad or anything, just could be better. Before the pandemic the inside had a lot more tables for people to sit and enjoy their tea. Now there is really only one big table and no one stays to drink their tea. The ambience is pretty bad as like I said no one stays there to drink tea. It's a shop that you take your tea to go. Before the pandemic the place used to be packed and people were sitting down, talking, socializing and enjoying their time. Wish it was like that again. Regardless, the tea is delicious and consistent with plenty of flavors. Highly recommend!

Over the years Sharetea has become our favorite bubble tea shop. It's not the closest and depending on timing can be extremely busy. There's alot of great food in the shopping center so it's great to pair it with a meal. Some our favorites are hawaii fruit tea, peach tea, hokkaido milk tea and matcha green tea with cream. Recently I noticed they run out of large pearls and have mini pearls which I actually prefer. I actually usually like lychee jelly over the boba. I often choose lower sugar levels for myself and kids, hubby likes regular sugar.

Winter melon with small balls , my friend got the Matcha Red Beans with big balls.
    Phuong O.

I thought this place was ok, wanted to order the Okinawa tea but the sugar level couldn't be adjusted because the powder they use is premade with the sugar. I opted for the winter melon milk tea instead. I can barely taste the tea, all I tasted was the fresh milk, Iike straight up cereal milk. The chick that put the drink down on the table and called the order number didn't even bother wiping the cup down. It was wet and sticky, that bothered me.

Whenever I am craving Boba, I go to this place. Every time I went I found the place to be busy with mostly HS/college students. I usually always order the Mango Green Tea with Boba. I tried couple of other drinks which I didn't like that much. So I try to stick to the mango green tea. But sometimes it doesn't taste that great either. Gotta find another boba place.

    Is Share Tea open?

We are temporarily closed until further notice. Our target date to open is 4/6. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

I know the milk tea is non dairy but is it vegan (no milk, eggs)?

Thank you for reaching out. Milk teas use non-dairy creamer but creamer has 7.4% whey powder. We do…

How does this compare to Kung Fu Tea?

Kung Fu Tea seems to have a more appealing atmosphere and people generally like the higher energy vibe compared to sharetea. Probably because people in general love Kung fu and Bruce lee. Sharetea has a great atmosphere too and is clean, laid…

Does sharetea have dairy substitutes such as almond milk?

one of the staff showed me the ingredients for the non dairy creamers and they still have milk protein (whey), which wouldn't be suitable for vegans.

We also picked up a couple of muffins along with an iced tea and coffee. One thing that really stood out was the huge selection of desserts, danishes, cookies, teas, coffees, and other drinks. There was plenty of indoor seating plus a few outdoor tables, so it never felt cramped. The only disappointment was that there were no free refills on the iced tea, which is what kept this from being a five-star visit for me. On the plus side, we signed up for the loyalty program and were pleasantly surprised to earn a free pastry from just this visit. Since we don't live in the area and probably won't be back anytime soon, that was a nice unexpected bonus. Overall, it's a solid spot with friendly service, great desserts, and plenty of seating.

Mango + matcha is an amazing flavor combination and I was a big fan. Unfortunately the dot cake was kind of a bummer. It looked really nice but all the sprinkles disintegrated as soon as we put our fork in and it had way too much cream cheese frosting.
