Phenomenal customer service! Stopped by with my little one and our cashier went above and beyond with her recommendations of child friendly drinks and even put our galaxy limeade into two cups so it would be easier for my toddler to hold. She even explained how to properly shake the drink so it could turn into a rainbow. My toddler was absolutely enthralled. The spot is clean, lively, and deceptively large. They have a few games, table hockey, and a mini pool table in the back as well. read more

Came here for restaurant week- they have a special $10 for any medium drink and popcorn chicken. Such a good deal! I enjoyed my coffee jelly bubble milk tea (although I honestly would have preferred it without the jelly) and spicy garlic popcorn chicken. Lots of seating and cute ambience/colors- very Taiwanese bubble tea shop-esque. Would come back again! read more

Ambiance 4/5 The ambiance here is very chill. It's very bright with the lights inside and the natural light from entrance. The inside is very colorful and cute. The menu is pretty wide with a lot of drink choices and food as well. The interior is pretty big and there's plenty of seating to come and hangout with friends or just sit by yourself and get some work done. There's a Foosball table in the back with some board games to enjoy with friends and have fun. Service 3/5 The staff here are friendly but there's not much interaction since you can order from a self-service kiosk and they just call your number when your order is ready. Popcorn Chicken- Basil ($6.50) 4/5 The Popcorn Chicken was very satisfying. It was bite sized pieces of soft, chewy deliciousness. The outside was crunchy and sprinkled with basil. The inside was soft and tender. It tasted savory with a hint of sweetness. Decent size bag to snack with a friend or eat it yourself. Mango Slush - Medium ($6.00) 4/5 The Mango Slush was sweet and refreshing. Pretty simple drink with just mango blended with ice and some sugar. It was smooth and the mango bits were soft and chewy. Perfect for a hot day or anytime you want a nice cold treat. A bit small for a medium at this price. read more

ONE OF THE FIRST BOBA SHOPS I VISITED WHEN I FIRST MOVED HERE, AND I STILL CONTINUE TO GO! * Price: Unfortunately, I think the prices have increased, but a small/medium with a topping is around $6.00, and a large with a topping is around $7.00. Snacks and bentos range from $5-$12. They occasionally offer deals and combos, so keep an eye out for those. * Food: I typically get a Thai tea or matcha at 30-50% sweetness. The drinks are on the milkier side, so it depends on your preference. My favorite food item is the popcorn chicken--especially the curry and garlic flavors! It's so crispy and flavorful! * Cleanliness/Setting: The interior is so cute! (Great photo op spot.) Their mascot/character theme is incorporated throughout the store. It's always clean when I've visited, and there's plenty of seating. * Service: The setup has changed to a kiosk-style system, where you grab your order when your number is called. The staff has always been helpful and willing to fix any issues with orders. read more

I wasn't feeling milk tea today but was really craving a snack . Review is solely for the popcorn chicken . Loved the flavor profile I got the garlic however I wish the popcorn chicken was crispy/crunchier . Loved the weird cute punk vibe . read more

Came by late night for a sweet treat. Loved the ice cream and waffle combo, reminded me of Iron Ice before they closed in Chantilly.

I personally enjoy Vivi Tea so much more than Kung Fu Tea. Their drinks have a richer, more authentic flavor, and you can really taste the difference because they don't rely heavily on powders. Plus, their street food options are amazing, especially the Taiwanese popcorn chicken, which is perfectly seasoned and crispy. Overall, Vivi offers a fresher and more satisfying experience. And customer service is always consistent read more

I ordered with Yelp and my order was ready when I arrived. My drink was delicious and exactly as I ordered. I had the taro drink.

6/21/23 On 5/20/23, Here I am, Allured again, The Popcorn Chicken tastes hit me again. From the smell of garlic, There is no shred of doubt, The crispy chicken will melt in my mouth. I have but to order from this illustrious place, Oh heavens to Betsy it won't be a waste. You can order from the Kiosks if you wish, Just thinking about this popcorn is my number one wish. As Rachel Ray would say "it's so delish." Now Mister Trask fulfills my wish. "Endowed with wisdom, of judgement sound, nevertheless about him, the questions abound." And so I take my popcorn prize and size, I get ready for my car ride. Should I eat these tasty treats, I shall be back again you see. Vi Vi Bubble Tea, I order drinks for you and me. I eat the popcorn and wash it down. Music from Eminem is all a around. He's friends with the monster, That he says, Personally I fear it's all in his head. And so my friends I must conclude, Have some popcorn chicken, Then I'll snooze. This food is the bomb, And I want some more. Next week I'll have some, This I am sure. read more

Ive gotten boba drinks from here a couples time. The drinks are VERY sugary, I would recommend getting a bit less sugar rather than regular. The flaming brown sugar drink isn't that great, it was very sweet and tea tasted strange. The mango pomelo drink is a very fruity tropical drink which I somewhat enjoyed the mango and chewy toppings made it very enjoyable to drink. Their fruit tea is good as well, very refreshing. The waffle ice cream Oreo dessert was very delicious! Waffle was made fresh and very soft. Ice cream with Oreo was so delicious, very fun to eat with another person as well! I'll definitely get waffle ice cream again if I ever come back. Service is quick, drinks come out 5-7 mins even when it's busy. read more

Very clean, they take care of their customers. Staff is very friendly but you can also order online or on the digital display in store if you want. Huge menu and the staff will make whatever you want even if its not on the menu. If you ask for no ice it will still be an ice cold drink filled to the brim, its shaken with ice then strained. Be careful with ordering too many toppings because they will not skimp! Your cup will be full of whatever you ask for. Food menu is very good, the chicken is my favorite. Also its meant to be a relaxing cafe, open late. Good spot to hang out under gentle lights with good food. read more

Very cute bubble tea place that has an amazing selection of snacks as well. I placed an order for peach oolong tea with boba and less ice, and the spicy chicken popcorn. There was no one else in the story at the time that I placed the order so I received my drink quite fast and only had to wait approx 5-10 mins for the popcorn chicken. The sitting area was quite big and there was options to have booths as well so I had no trouble sitting and waiting while be socially distant. The boba was good, it wasn't too syrupy sweet like some other fruit teas and the boba were sweet and chewy. The chicken popcorn chicken was not very spicy though it was still flavorful, so I enjoyed both of my orders. read more

This location has been me and my junior yelper's spot for snacks. Right in our neighborhood, it's in a shopping center with convenient parking. There's actually a tea place closer to me, but when we go out on Saturday nights, my family will choose this one. Why? There is sooo much seating! It's also a little quieter than most Kung Fus. I find those a little loud and chaotic. I feel like this Vivi is a good place if you're catching up with friends, or you're actually out to have a chit chat. They're always nice here. Really good customer service. Their menu is really big. I usually get the same things: taro milk tea or thai milk tea, and I've always been happy. Hub gets the oreo creme brulee. Kiddo gets whatever is super sour! This menu is probably the most creative of all the tea places I've been to so far. I do feel like there's something for everyone. Like most places you can also adjust ice and sweetness. So like I said, tons of seating which is nice if you're there to park and sit around. They have a handful of games to play. My hub and kiddo will hang out and play 2-3 rounds of chess. In the same strip mall is pho and an indian restaurant. Just FYI in case you want to check those out first and then have this be a "dessert spot". read more

Omg the taro cream brûlée milk tea was so yummy! Real taro chucks, super creamy. I saw someone commented on no taro taste. Well the common purple-colored taro milk tea is NOT real taro! This is! Love it! Just be mindful the taro is already sweetened so even 0 sugar is enough for me. Taiwanese bbq pork was always very good. Sweet and salty with crunchy skin. Fried tempura was good but not impressive. Definitely going back! Just a bit pricey read more

Popcorn chicken is great! You need to ask for the chili powder tho because I think it tastes better with it. The watermelon slush is good and my drink when it gets hot. Overall the boba and milk teas are ok. Not my first choice but if I needed one, I'll go here read more

Came here a lot when it first opened a few years ago and it's my first time visiting in a while. The interior is still as cute and clean as I remember it. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by the friendly staff and she gave me a stamp card too! You can order through the kiosk or through the cashier if you have questions or are paying in cash. Vivi has great boba and drinks. But my favorite thing about them is their bento boxes. I love the popcorn chicken bento box as it comes with some pork, eggs, and chicken. Perfect protein pack. I love how there's a kiosk ordering option now, which is perfect for introverts. Overall great place for a quick tea pickup or bento to go! read more

A spot that my sister took me to after the disappointing news of us not being able to try the Hot Pot spot just a couple stores down. This place is very bright and colorful. Came here on a Saturday evening and it was pretty crowded. A lot of people coming here and out and it seems like a popular spot for high schoolers(?) or near-by college students to hang out at (oh, I remember those days - haha). They were having a special of buying one and getting one free (on selected flavors) that days so we decided to try that. They did not have it listed on their board or the checkout, so that is something that you would have to ask the cashier about. From the looks of the picture (and the label), I ordered their signature ViVi Signature Fruit Tea and y sister got their 3Q Milk Tea. From there, you get to order the sugar level and ice level. I got 30% sugar and less ice and my sister got no sugar with regular ice. Even with the 30% sugar selected, my drink was still pretty sweet. Probably from all the fruits that it came in. Definitely, a cute spot and will most likely try again (with no sugar). read more

We love the Taiwanese fried chicken and bubble tea! However, their minced pork over rice hasn't been as good as when it first opened. It seems that their sauce flavor has changed drastically and the amount of sauce given has been smaller portions each time; I'm left with over 50% of leftover rice. But overall, I would really give this place a 3.5-4 stars. If you're ordering the chicken, it's best to pre-order it if you don't want to wait 20 minutes because they cook it all fresh to order. read more

This was my first time eating at ViVi Bubble Tea and I only had the popcorn chicken so that's the only item I'll review. The restaurant is not really my style from a design perspective as a male in his 20s, but I'm probably not the target audience. I didn't hold that against them. I ordered the garlic chicken and was pleasantly surprised. It was good, flavorful, and fresh. However, I think I'd prefer the spicy option and will probably try that next time. I'd also recommend that they include some sort of sauce as part of the popcorn chicken. It would really add and I'm sure they could come up with some great options. That's the only reason why I dinked them 1 star is because a sauce would go well with the chicken and make it a 5/5. I will be back for some of the other popcorn chicken options, and perhaps, a bubble tea for the wife. read more

Still waiting for our drinks after 30 minutes. Doesn't matter if the drinks are any good. Won't be back

I ordered the Red Bean Matcha milk tea and found it quite underwhelming. I know I shouldn't expect my order to look as advertised in the posters they have displayed around, but they added so few red bean to my drink it looked & tasted kind of sad. The matcha milk tea didn't have much matcha flavor to it too. I think it's nice that they have a reward system for those who need their boba fix regularly. Honestly, with the plethora of boba shops around, I probably won't go out of my way for Vivi. read more

Shiela was terrible! First she refused to honor the BOGO offer posted on the front door. There was no expiration on the sign, but she said that because she hadn't had time to remove it, she wasn't going to in honor it. Ordered the lychee jelly tea and taro tea with boba along with egg puff. The lychee jelly tea was ok - had a bitter taste and I really didn't like the jelly (which tasted more like jello pudding vice clear lychee jelly that you find at most bubble tea shops. The taro tea wasn't sweet but it was creamy - sounds yummy but was a odd taste. The egg puff which is the bubble waffle was delish - mildly sweet and good texture. Overall, the tea was alright not fantastic. read more

OVERALL: this is a review for the food only. Good value for the Taiwanese style bentos, beef noodle soup kinda overpriced. Minced pork over rice is A+. I came here twice and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I think most people come here for the boba and overlook the food, but the food is actually really great value and they give really huge portions for the bentos. You could probably share a bento among two people, because they give you a ton of meat with it. For $15, it's pretty worth it. There are also plenty of seating options and it's a good atmosphere. I might try the boba next time - but there are like four other boba shops in a 500 ft radius of this place so probably not. read more

After eating at Curry Mantra I thought I'd try ViVi Bubble Tea. I was honestly surprised that I'd never tried before. Was a bit disappointing. The people working were kind and quick but the boba was not great. Seems like a bad quality of ingredients issue? I'd skip this one tbh read more

ViVi tea was disappointing and I wouldn't try it again. The fish tofu we didn't finish because it had a taste and didn't seem fresh, the bubble tea it looked like they downsized to skinnier cup sizes compared to the ones on signs or in displays. I had kind of high hopes based on reviews. Most people would probably find ViVi to be fine, but I would give it a two-star based on my first go. read more

First visit! My friend and I came here after some pho~ I've never been to a ViVi bubble tea so I'm not sure if this is a chain or not~ I ordered the coconut milk tea with boba with 70% sugar. My drink was 3-3.5 stars in my opinion. It was a little bland/mild and the boba seemed to be a slightly overcooked. The boba wasn't too sweet which I liked! I hate boba that overpowers the flavor of the tea~ I'm not sure if the mild flavor was due to the adjustment in sugar level, so I rounded the rating to a 4 since the service was nice and I really liked the bright and colorful interior. I'll definitely come back and try some of the other flavors without any adjustments and update the review as needed! read more

We stopped in here before heading out on a road trip, and wanted something refreshing for the ride down. Got here a little after 12PM on a Friday, so they had opened not too long ago. Service was nice, and the menu is pretty big. So there are definitely options for everyone! I ordered the Grapefruit fruit tea. I should have read the menu a little closer, but there is more than just grapefruit flavor/chunks in this tea. My boyfriend ordered Thai tea. The teas itself were pretty decent. My tea was very very tart, and the Thai tea was good, but not the best we've had. The one thing we really liked was the boba. Consistency was perfect. Biggest downfall is that both or our teas were warmish. They had ice on the top, but we think the boba was just made, so the warmth from that melted the ice quickly, and our drinks were room temp from our first sip on. That little bit of ice on top, couldn't keep our drinks cold. read more

Definitely preferable to the typical chain bubble tea locations both in flavor and options. Perhaps I've been so thoroughly impressed by Tapioca Express that I no longer find just ok bubble tea impressive. Overall though, come here before you go to Kung fu tea!! I tried the hot Japanese matcha with added pudding and matcha jelly. I got mine 50% sweet and wished it was 70% sweet instead. My hot drink wasn't that hot. Each topping is $.50 extra. They have more options than usual such as matcha jelly or yogurt popping bubbles which I enjoyed! The store is very spacious both with bar seats and booths with cute decor throughout. My boyfriend got the coconut milk tea with lychee jelly and yogurt popping bubbles and thoroughly enjoyed his. They also offer food but have high warning signs indicating high amounts of salt!! Overall not seeing the huge hype and probably would not venture out of my way here. read more

I can already tell that ViVi Bubble Tea is going to make a lasting impression on Fairfax. Just the signage, with a bubbly font and cute skull logos, already puts you in a good mood. When you walk inside, fun (and photogenic!) murals, vibrant decorum, and plenty of seating makes this an inviting spot to come and hang out. Since I love the pho place next door, I anticipated this place's arrival. I looked at the menu online, which was very extensive with some unusual offerings (like popping yogurt boba, matcha jelly) and saw that it had been successful in other places. I walked in thinking I'd be turned away, since their soft opening was in two days. The staff was there doing a training and kindly explained to me that they could make me certain menu items only, that it might take a little while, and that it'd be 50 percent off. I was down with that! I got the match float (like a crema) with yogurt popping boba. My husband got a taro smoothie with the same yogurt boba. They were both good--I think the yogurt boba went better with the taro. They didn't have tapioca boba yet, but I'm excited for that! The service was actually pretty fast, and the containers were adorable (cat ears!) One of the employees told me to try the flaming brown sugar drink in the future--it's literally on fire! That's something to look forward to! read more

I had been waiting for this location to open for a while, long before their sign even went up. I've tried the other location in Falls Church and really enjoyed the quality of the tea, so I was excited to have one much closer to home. I was on my way home yesterday and happened to see the lit OPEN neon sign, so I stopped by in case they were open prior to their previously scheduled soft opening. They had training but let me come in and order if I was okay with it being a bit slow, which was nice. The place is spacious with bright and fun decorations without it being an assault on the eyes. It didn't take too long to get my order and as expected it was delicious. I will certainly be back. UPDATE: Just came back from their soft opening. Their service is super nice and the teas have taste like real teas and not artificial. In addition, I appreciate the fact that I can customize the drinks with toppings, amount of ice and level of sweetness. I also tried the popcorn chicken, which was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside and overall flavorful and not too salty. It's great that they sell snacks with their drinks and it's one of a few tea places that sell snacks such as this. I really hope this place does well and remain for a long time because I would love to come back often. read more
