Very clean, they take care of their customers. Staff is very friendly but you can also order online or on the digital display in store if you want. Huge menu and the staff will make whatever you want even if its not on the menu. If you ask for no ice it will still be an ice cold drink filled to the brim, its shaken with ice then strained. Be careful with ordering too many toppings because they will not skimp! Your cup will be full of whatever you ask for. Food menu is very good, the chicken is my favorite. Ive gotten boba drinks from here a couples time. The drinks are VERY sugary, I would recommend getting a bit less sugar rather than regular. The flaming brown sugar drink isn't that great, it was very sweet and tea tasted strange. The mango pomelo drink is a very fruity tropical drink which I somewhat enjoyed the mango and chewy toppings made it very enjoyable to drink. Their fruit tea is good as well, very refreshing. The waffle ice cream Oreo dessert was very delicious! Waffle was made fresh and very soft. Ice cream with Oreo was so delicious, very fun to eat with another person as well! There was no one else in the story at the time that I placed the order so I received my drink quite fast and only had to wait approx 5-10 mins for the popcorn chicken. The sitting area was quite big and there was options to have booths as well so I had no trouble sitting and waiting while be socially distant. The boba was good, it wasn't too syrupy sweet like some other fruit teas and the boba were sweet and chewy. There's actually a tea place closer to me, but when we go out on Saturday nights, my family will choose this one. Why? There is sooo much seating! It's also a little quieter than most Kung Fus. I find those a little loud and chaotic. I feel like this Vivi is a good place if you're catching up with friends, or you're actually out to have a chit chat. They're always nice here. Really good customer service. Their menu is really big. I usually get the same things: taro milk tea or thai milk tea, and I've always been happy. Hub gets the oreo creme brulee. Kiddo gets whatever is super sour! This menu is probably the most creative of all the tea places I've been to so far. I do feel like there's something for everyone. Like most places you can also adjust ice and sweetness. So like I said, tons of seating which is nice if you're there to park and sit around. They have a handful of games to play. My hub and kiddo will hang out and play 2-3 rounds of chess. In the same strip mall is pho and an indian restaurant. We love the Taiwanese fried chicken and bubble tea! However, their minced pork over rice hasn't been as good as when it first opened. It seems that their sauce flavor has changed drastically and the amount of sauce given has been smaller portions each time; I'm left with over 50% of leftover rice. But overall, I would really give this place a 3.5-4 stars. If you're ordering the chicken, it's best to pre-order it if you don't want to wait 20 minutes because they cook it all fresh to order. read more

Came here a lot when it first opened a few years ago and it's my first time visiting in a while. The interior is still as cute and clean as I remember it. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by the friendly staff and she gave me a stamp card too! You can order through the kiosk or through the cashier if you have questions or are paying in cash. Vivi has great boba and drinks. But my favorite thing about them is their bento boxes. I love the popcorn chicken bento box as it comes with some pork, eggs, and chicken. Perfect protein pack. A spot that my sister took me to after the disappointing news of us not being able to try the Hot Pot spot just a couple stores down. This place is very bright and colorful. Came here on a Saturday evening and it was pretty crowded. A lot of people coming here and out and it seems like a popular spot for high schoolers(?) or near-by college students to hang out at (oh, I remember those days - haha). They were having a special of buying one and getting one free (on selected flavors) that days so we decided to try that. They did not have it listed on their board or the checkout, so that is something that you would have to ask the cashier about. From the looks of the picture (and the label), I ordered their signature ViVi Signature Fruit Tea and y sister got their 3Q Milk Tea. From there, you get to order the sugar level and ice level. I got 30% sugar and less ice and my sister got no sugar with regular ice. Even with the 30% sugar selected, my drink was still pretty sweet. Probably from all the fruits that it came in. The restaurant is not really my style from a design perspective as a male in his 20s, but I'm probably not the target audience. I didn't hold that against them. I ordered the garlic chicken and was pleasantly surprised. It was good, flavorful, and fresh. However, I think I'd prefer the spicy option and will probably try that next time. I'd also recommend that they include some sort of sauce as part of the popcorn chicken. It would really add and I'm sure they could come up with some great options. That's the only reason why I dinked them 1 star is because a sauce would go well with the chicken and make it a 5/5. The lychee jelly tea was ok - had a bitter taste and I really didn't like the jelly (which tasted more like jello pudding vice clear lychee jelly that you find at most bubble tea shops. OVERALL: this is a review for the food only. Good value for the Taiwanese style bentos, beef noodle soup kinda overpriced. Minced pork over rice is A+. I came here twice and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I think most people come here for the boba and overlook the food, but the food is actually really great value and they give really huge portions for the bentos. You could probably share a bento among two people, because they give you a ton of meat with it. For $15, it's pretty worth it. There are also plenty of seating options and it's a good atmosphere. First visit! My friend and I came here after some pho~ I've never been to a ViVi bubble tea so I'm not sure if this is a chain or not~ I ordered the coconut milk tea with boba with 70% sugar. My drink was 3-3.5 stars in my opinion. It was a little bland/mild and the boba seemed to be a slightly overcooked. The boba wasn't too sweet which I liked! I hate boba that overpowers the flavor of the tea~ I'm not sure if the mild flavor was due to the adjustment in sugar level, so I rounded the rating to a 4 since the service was nice and I really liked the bright and colorful interior. We stopped in here before heading out on a road trip, and wanted something refreshing for the ride down. Got here a little after 12PM on a Friday, so they had opened not too long ago. Service was nice, and the menu is pretty big. So there are definitely options for everyone! I ordered the Grapefruit fruit tea. I should have read the menu a little closer, but there is more than just grapefruit flavor/chunks in this tea. My boyfriend ordered Thai tea. The teas itself were pretty decent. My tea was very very tart, and the Thai tea was good, but not the best we've had. The one thing we really liked was the boba. Consistency was perfect. Biggest downfall is that both or our teas were warmish. They had ice on the top, but we think the boba was just made, so the warmth from that melted the ice quickly, and our drinks were room temp from our first sip on. They have more options than usual such as matcha jelly or yogurt popping bubbles which I enjoyed! The store is very spacious both with bar seats and booths with cute decor throughout. My boyfriend got the coconut milk tea with lychee jelly and yogurt popping bubbles and thoroughly enjoyed his. They also offer food but have high warning signs indicating high amounts of salt!! I can already tell that ViVi Bubble Tea is going to make a lasting impression on Fairfax. Just the signage, with a bubbly font and cute skull logos, already puts you in a good mood. When you walk inside, fun (and photogenic!) murals, vibrant decorum, and plenty of seating makes this an inviting spot to come and hang out. Since I love the pho place next door, I anticipated this place's arrival. I looked at the menu online, which was very extensive with some unusual offerings (like popping yogurt boba, matcha jelly) and saw that it had been successful in other places. I walked in thinking I'd be turned away, since their soft opening was in two days. The staff was there doing a training and kindly explained to me that they could make me certain menu items only, that it might take a little while, and that it'd be 50 percent off. I was down with that! I got the match float (like a crema) with yogurt popping boba. My husband got a taro smoothie with the same yogurt boba. They were both good--I think the yogurt boba went better with the taro. They didn't have tapioca boba yet, but I'm excited for that! The service was actually pretty fast, and the containers were adorable (cat ears!) One of the employees told me to try the flaming brown sugar drink in the future--it's literally on fire!
