They have limited seating that fills up quickly on the inside. The parking lot is small and difficult to maneuver. They have games that customers can play while they enjoy their boba. Many different drink selections to choose from... I would say the largest and most diverse selection that I've seen at any nova boba tea shop! The drinks are great and well priced. 1 Star My family has been coming here for a while because my daughter always orders the same drink. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. Her drink was made incorrectly with lime. When I politely asked for it to be corrected, the manager told me that I should have checked my order. Instead of making a new drink, he told an employee to simply remove the lime from the existing drink. I explained that the lime had already changed the flavor and asked for a fresh one. Rather than resolving the issue, he refunded the drink and repeatedly told me, "Have a good night," in a dismissive manner. When I asked who the manager was, he said it was him and continued trying to end the conversation. Because my son and daughter were watching the interaction, I asked for a refund for the entire order. The manager then said he would remake the drink only if I paid for it again. After I paid, I noticed the order was still wrong because the boba had been left out. Once I pointed it out, he corrected it but told me, "This is the last time." Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What was disappointing was the manager's attitude and unwillingness to provide respectful customer service. I wasn't looking for anything free--I simply wanted the drink made correctly. Decided to treat myself today right after work. This Tea do is busy but service is good and so are their snacks/drinks. M Ordered 2 spam onigiri's and they came out hot and fairly quickly. It's not a typical item on a boba menu, but I got it just to see how jasmine and almond, which are normally separate, would go together. The customer service and tightness if this location for how many people they have coming through is wild. There's barely any parking and kids are on top of cars and just standing in crowds right in front of the door. Super ridiculous. It's so cute and danity, but absolutely disgusting as well trash all over the place and the actual trash bins are filled and overflowing. I tried Tea Do at the Annandale location a few years ago and didn't love it, but wanted to give it another chance at this location. Sadly, it wasn't much better than I remembered. I ordered the fresh mango smoothie with boba, and it was just okay. There was something slightly artificial about the drink and it was way too sweet. And this is coming from someone who almost always gets 100% sweetness. If I ever get this drink again, it would need to be at 50 or 70% sugar. But even with that change, I am not sure if I would love this drink. The boba was good though, and it was soft and chewy. Also, it took a little while for them to take our order, we were just standing there for a couple of minutes. I don't think it was necessarily the staff's fault since it looked like they were busy making drinks, but I would say they are maybe slightly understaffed. The space is pretty cute but there could definitely be a little more seating. I probably won't be coming back anytime soon, since there are other boba places I prefer in the area. read more

Ube at TeaDo fairfax is delicious. I am not really a fan of ube drinks since they are super sweet but the way that TeaDo fairfax made it is just right. The bubbles are soft and chewy like they are suppose to be. Their salmon onigiri are to die for and I get it everytime I go there. The perfect amount of rice and salmon are perfectly seasoned. The service staff are very friendly everytime I go. Also they are the only one milk tea place that opens lates so if you have late cravings, you know where to go. I fell in love with boba tea back when there were no boba places on the east coast and I had to wait for visits to orange county CA for my boba fix! The dmv boba seen has come a long long way since then. I now have no less than 6 boba places within 5-10 min drive from me, and 2 of these I can literally walk to! Not complaining in any way, I absolutely love boba! But here to tell you that my absolutely fav is tea-do! I am so so happy they opened up here and if it were up to me, I'd be here every day. They are very accommodating about my low sugar requests and happily make modifications where when asked. Their peach raspberry has been my summer jam and I'm still not ready to give it up. Also love that their jelly isn't ridiculously sweet and their boba is the perfect amount of chew. I haven't had a chance to try their food yet and will report back when I do. Service is very friendly too. The place is very cute, with vintage video game machines and real plants in little nooks and corners. So I was super excited to hear that there's a location so close to home in Fairfax now! I went during the grand opening weekend and have continued to go on multiple occasions! I've tried a number of their fruit teas at this point and the onigiri as well. The peach rose tea and kenshin onigiri (imitation crab & seaweed salad) are my favorites. With the plethora of bubble tea places in the Fairfax area, Tea Do stands out with its late closing time of 12am. It also has a clean modern nightlife décor inside (including some arcade games). When it's past 9pm that's when I like to come here. Last time I came steady streams of young people kept coming in starting at 9pm. So it can get packed. On the menu are some typical bubble tea drinks including milk and fruit teas. They also have smoothies and some Japanese quick eats like chicken karaage (popcorn chicken), onigiri, tempura. But be warned prices are higher than some other places plus there is that 10% Fairfax restaurant tax. I tried the chicken karaage with two types of sauce drizzles (spicy mayo and the mild). Was sorely disappointed. Chicken was soggy, not crunchy and oil was clearly old. Tasted very dry. The spicy mayo was not spicy at all and the drizzle only covered the top pieces of chicken. You also only get maybe around 15 small pieces. For $8.25 including tax I wouldn't get it again. Would instead recommend Teas 'n You near Tysons if you want good popcorn chicken. Haven't tried their drinks yet since I was a little offput by the prices but maybe when I feel like coming out late at night again I'll give them a try and update my review. There are only 6 tables plus the bar area inside. So seating is very limited. I think they could add a long table against the back wall. The chairs don't have backs so this is really more of a social spot than a place to also pull out a laptop. There are some picnic style tables outside. But worse case you and your group can just take your drinks next door to the CAVA or MOD Pizza. Also limited parking right in front of the shop but it is located in a plaza so you can find park just a little farther away. read more

I simply asked if I could have the 4 out of 5 drinks that were on the counter ready and was "told" that I'll get my order when it's ready. Some pieces were a bit too hard/dense in the center. Not enough for a whole star deduction, but something to consider. The matcha milk tea was delicious and had a wonderful, rich flavor. This was a wonderful treat for a hot weekend! I wanted to try a staple, and got the tiger milk tea - tea lactaid and brown sugar. The flavors were amazing and the boba texture was perfect. I ordered the kani onigiri and it was so yummy I bought two more to take home, along with the Gyu don bowl.
