The service here has always been really rude and the drinks are okay. I've been here multiple times and even with my cousins from Taiwan who know their boba. This place gives very little boba and their milk drinks always taste watery. I always confirm if any substitutions can be done to avoid lactose. But there is always confusion, the responses are terse and I end up feeling like I shouldn't have asked. The manager is usually the one with an attitude if a question is asked or if we need to bring up a mistake with the order. My favorite drink from here is the spiced banana milk. It's seasonal for autumn, but I hope they make it permanent because it's so good. Ube milk - 3.5/5 too heavy and artificial tasting in at first few sips. After that for some reason most of the ube flavor disappeared and tasted more like a very light ube milk. A solid 4 stars. Located in the Kamp Washington Center in Fairfax, Tea Do is now my go-to spot for bubble tea in the area. The fact that they stay open late is just an added bonus. This location is clean and spacious with accents of wood, offering hightop table and bar seating indoors. Their menu offers a variety of fruit and milk teas, as well as food items. I didn't care much for the food, but the onigiri does come out warmed up and wish a side of spicy mayo. I've tried both their milk and fruity teas, and enjoyed everything I've had. And if using the app Snackpass to place your order, after 10 drinks, you get one free. Needless to say, I've already had my free drink hahaha. For the most part, their service has been on point with friendly and helpful employees. However, one time I ordered my drink online and was quoted 15-20 min wait. I got there a bit earlier and sat at the bar waiting. Then I saw what looked like my order second in line for them to make it, but one of the employees kept on pushing my cup to the side. Customers who placed their orders way after me kept on getting their drinks, while I was still waiting. Finally, after having waited way past the quoted time, I asked what was going on and her response was that since it takes quicker to make fruity drinks, they just fulfill those orders first. What??! This location is a hidden gem on the side of the shopping center. My girlfriend and I got the white peach aloe vera and lychee green tea for boba. Both tasted great and were light and refreshing for a hot summer day! We also got the baked salmon onigiri and shrimp tempura onigiri. Both of which were quite tasty! We like the onigiri here so much that we also got the spam onigiri which was also delicious! This location is spacious and vibrant. This place is a great go for some late night boba drinks and food (mostly snack type items). The service is typically quick and nothing special of sorts. The options are pretty various; except during the evenings they tend to always run out of milk options by then. They also have a very limited option of drinks that are caffeine free - and even if you want a certain flavor; they're not able to opt out for caffeine free options. A lot of drinks also have set sugar levels that cannot be changed - such as the Wintermelon flavor; and drinks are on the sweeter side (nothing wrong with that, personally prefer less sweet or would love the option for). I do enjoy their Hello Kitty drink - more subtle in flavor and love the star peach jellies! The seating area is usually packed but enough to find a seat either indoors or outdoors. We were looking for an after dinner drink and we wanted to come back after trying it at a previous Yelp event. We grabbed a Hello Kitty, Peach Rose, an Eel Onigiri, and an Avocado Onigiri. Pickup was on time, quick, and easy but parking can get a little crowded on the weekend right in front of the shop. Both drinks were as good as the last time, refreshing, not too sweet and our toppings were made perfectly (no mush). The Eel Onigiri was still really good like last time, great snack. This was my first boba spot I tried after moving to the area and they did not disappoint! I love that they open late so this will definitely be one of my go to places. This place was definitely crackin...a great place to hang out, get good food/drinks, and sit late night. I got the Cold Brew Jasmine Milk Tea w/Boba which was different from other Jasmine Milk Teas I've had, but still really good and refreshing. My boyfriend got a Thai Tea w/Boba less sweet and that was great. We also ordered the Chicken Karaage which they topped with this sriracha Mayo sauce which was so delicious. I got the fresh mango pomelo smoothie and my friend got the Juliet (pomegranate and rose flavor) fruit tea. My mango drink tasted very refreshing and came with mango jellies. It was not too watery or too thick and was not too sweet either. I love how it tastes exactly like blended fresh mango instead of fake fruit flavoring. The size of the cup is a generous portion as well and is a perfect spot to head over to right after lunch. It is a great location in the area and right around the corner of the shopping center with a parking lot in front. The interior is decorated nicely with aesthetically pleasing lit up wall decor, a bamboo style wall, and several green plants. The staff is also young and friendly as well. There's outdoor seating and the interior - being a new location- is very clean and modern with a cozy atmosphere. I believe there's a bathroom in the back but as I didn't need to use it, I forgot to check. Came here hoping there'd be drinks unique to here compared to the Annandale location and I was right. Of the seasonal drinks/location-specific drinks I was told about, I went with fresh Mango Pomelo. As expected in this 80+ degree weather, it was refreshing and extremely delicious. The citrussy flavor of the pomelo complements the mango and is always a great flavor combination; one flavor didn't feel overwhelming compared to the other. After finishing my drink, I was slightly hungry so I got a spam onigiri. I joked about the choice of low sodium spam but either way, it was delicious if you're craving a more savory (from meat) onigiri. Onigiri is delicious due to its simplicity and it's no different here. The onigiri is similar to the Annandale location but a must-try regardless. so excited for my first tea do, taste of both drinks were great, my one star rating (ive never done a review) is for the service sadly. aside from the one employee who opened, the rest of the crew rolls in after the doors are open which starts off the day behind (imo). there were 5 customers as soon as the doors were open, needless to say, service was already behind as opening duties were being completed as the crew was still rolling in. meanwhile, im definitely not feeling like my business is appreciated with employees who cant be bothered to give a simple hello or thank you, but i can hear the details of the personal problems and reasons why one last lost their voice, amidst the f-bomb being dropped every other word... was asked by 2 employees if i wanted a bag with my order, then as i get my order, i have to ask for a bag... all this being said, there are more drinks i want to try and will go back again, maybe opening time is not their best look. this rant is more in hopes that this might reach mgmt for quality service reviews. read more

I asked for no ice because I had intended on drinking my milk tea after dinner. The worker said they can only do less ice, so I was fine with it. They proceeded to upcharge me 90 cents for asking less ice without informing me about it. Let's talk about tipping, I'm always a tipper but considering the 1 dollar charge for no ice, I was choosing not to tip but there was no option to skip. I was forced to pick or do custom with 0 amount. It almost made me feel forced to tip just because of that alone and the sign about their tipping. It felt unavoidable. I drove home and ate which was about 30minutes in total I then chose to drink my boba. It was horrible. Completely watered down & grainy because of the Oreo. The grainy Oreo is understandable because it's a solid but if they would have let me do no ice atleast it would have been somewhat enjoyable. 10-11 bucks for some mid boba! read more

This boba tea location is great. The staff were awesome and courteous. The atmosphere is great, very accessible for those who need it as they have a very open floor plan and larger bathrooms. I loved all of the different plants. I ordered the tigers milk with boba and light ice which was delicious, with caramel undertones. The kani onigiri was heightened my the spicy Mayo (can they sell this in a bottle?). As far as pricing goes, all teas were $5-$6 which is reasonably priced. The food also was reasonable. My only negative is $7+ for a smoothie is on the higher side in my opinion. Overall, I had a great experience at this location and will be back to try more tea flavors and food options! read more

I have searched far and wide for a good bubble tea shop in the DMV and, at last, I have finally found it. Tea Do does everything right: their boba has the perfect texture and their drinks are well balanced between the various flavor components. I've even fallen in love with their jelly drinks, which usually aren't my favorite. I have tried many different drinks here and they have all been fantastic. The taro milk tea, sesame smoothie (fall seasonal), and and mango pomelo smoothie are among my favorites. The brown sugar tiger milk isn't the best I've ever had, but given my insanely high bubble tea standards, it still deserves 5 stars. The vibe inside is also great and it makes for a good hangout spot. Staff members are always friendly. As a bonus, if you check in each time you go, you can get a free drink after previously purchasing ten (and you will quickly get to ten as this spot is amazing). If you haven't checked out Tea Do yet and are a boba lover, this needs to be your next stop. Worth a significant detour. read more
