We had a water flooding in our house on August 12th, which caused damage to the floors and walls of our downstairs bathroom, bedroom, and living room. A few days later I called Servpro Norco for evaluation of the damage and the restoration work. They responded to my request promptly. Jim and Chris showed up the same day and conducted a thorough inspection of the damages, and then explained to me the work to be done. I introduced them to our home insurance company and put them in touch with each other. The process went smoothly. A few days later the crew from Servpro came by and started their work by removing the damages wood floors, cutting down damaged parts of the dry wall, and detaching the toilet, sink and vanity in the bathroom. During the process of removing our belongings from the bedroom and bathroom, they were very careful in packing everything in separate marked boxes. They set up a hermetic seal around the damage area, and treated the mold developed due to the water flood, and then set up a complete set of ventilation fans, which ran for a few days. During the next few days, someone either Jim or Chris or another member of their team came by regularly to check on the status of drying of the area and made necessary adjustments on the fans. A few days later the mold inspector came by, and took samples, and we passed the mold test easily. Servpro team came back the next day and removed the fans and the hermetic seal. After the work of Servpro team was completed, we found a reputable construction company to give us the estimate for necessary repair work, which we will start once we get approval from the home insurance company. We were very happy with the 5-star service that Servpro Norco provided to us after the water flood in our house. We had a leak in the upstairs bathroom, that went through the wall into the bonus room, and downstairs into the formal dining room and pantry. My insurance company had me contact the corporate office for Servpro. I was told that I would receive a call back within the hour. I not only had a call back, but had a crew of three in my home within the hour. Jim, Mike and the rest of the crew answered all of my questions (and there were a lot!). They assessed the damage, and politely waited for me to call my husband at work to discuss how to proceed. They protected my entire home with plastic on the carpets, as well as the openings to the dining room. Within a few hours, the crew had all of the damaged drywall, baseboards and tile removed and had fans, de-humidifiers and air scrubbers running. I am a TOTAL neat-freak - and they did a wonderful job of keeping my house clean! Jim made sure that he kept us informed of everything that was going on, how long the clean-up would take and what to do after they were done. Very courteous and responsive. We were concerned our 4yr-old son's room had mold and they were able to check the next day. They thoroughly checked the room, carpet and furniture for any signs of mold and found none. We were expecting to pay for their services but they said it was free since there were no signs of mold.
