We've been our new home one year now, and it was time to get our carpets cleaned. We contacted Shamrock, they came out to give us an estimate, Eric was very professional and explained the whole process, along with providing helpful information we did not know about carpeting, and it's care. The day of the cleaning the guys coming to do the cleaning first called to say they were on their way, and also offered to bring Starbucks coffee for us. Booties were worn by them, as well as providing us with them to walk on the carpeting after they completed the work. Protection was layed down on our flooring and around all corners so as not to damage anything in our home. As Eric explained during the quoting process, if we removed the small items from furniture they would put foam protection under that furniture so has not to damage the carpeting while it was drying. I had an emergency water damage issue come up on an early Sunday morning where water was leaking from my upper story laundry room down to the garage. In a panic, I was able to stop the leak and reached out through Yelp for help. Jason Jones and Superior Restoration were the first company to respond to my request and I'm glad they did. Not only was Jason able to calm me down, he was able to make it out to my home and did a full inspection all within an hour of contacting me, AND on a Sunday too. Jason was very knowledgeable about the potential damage issues that may have occurred and assured us that we've done everything we could so far. 5 stars with a couple caveats - I'm one of those people who believe I should get what I pay for. "I know, I know...call me crazy!" But it's our money and I expect them to deliver what they say they will deliver for the agreed upon price." I tell you this so you know where I'm coming from when I write this review; on the premise that I'm paying them for something they said they would do for the price they said they would do it for. I'm not basing this review solely on the fact that they do a better job than someone else for half the price. (I hope that makes sense to all of you). These guys said they would do a certain job, in a certain way, for a certain price. Therefore I expected them to do just that; anything less would be unacceptable. So here we go... Comparatively speaking, these guys did a great job and are a step above the competition. It's a level of service and quality you pay for, but worth it in my opinion. (The cost was double compared to what I've paid in the past). They don't do the whole "bait-and-switch" thing either. The quotes are clear, concise and come with an explanation for every option offered. Just straight forward quotes without any trickery. They showed up on time, were courteous and well groomed (I liked the fact that the people who were there to clean our carpet weren't slobs). They made sure to protect our entire property, not just the carpet they were cleaning (the pictures I added show how meticulous they are with corner guards for inside the house, metal stakes to guide their hoses around flowers and plants outside and booties to go over their shoes). I appreciate their attention to those kinds of details. They spent extra time to get the more dirty areas clean, such as the edges and high traffic paths. One thing they did was get the edges along the walls where the dust settles and most vacuum cleaners can't clean. They moved the furniture that needed to be moved and placed foam spacers under them to protect the carpet after it had been cleaned. There was one dresser I asked them to move which they forgot, or neglected to move. Just so happens this dresser was over the top of what used to be a high traffic area, so it was pretty dirty underneath it. When I contacted them about it they offered to come back and take care of it without hesitation or question, but it's still an inconvenience. It's still my time they're wasting to come back and do what they should have done in the first place. I highly doubt they will offer to compensate me for there mistake either. (How much do you want to bet that they offer me a discount on my NEXT service, if anything? Any takers ???) I had them clean an area rug as well. When all was said and done the rug was clean, but they didn't rake it when they were finished. So the areas of the rug that were matted down are still matted down. An extra few minutes with a carpet rake to lift the pile back up before it dried would have been nice. They do a great job for a higher than average price; it's higher than what I would have expected to pay for what they did, but it's not absurd. Overall they did a fine job with great results and would recommend them. read more

FIVE STAR SERVICE!!! After noticing a leak under our kitchen sink, we called a plumber friend and he referred us to Shamrock for restoration due to extensive water damage, which we had no idea was there! Alex from Shamrock was literally at our front door within 30 minutes of calling, and after surveying the damage, he suggested we contact our homeowners insurance. Alex insisted on being present when the adjuster showed up, so the next day we called & he was here almost immediately. He gave the adjuster a thorough rundown of the damage, and if it hadn't been for his presence, I don't think our insurance would have covered nearly as much as they did. Alex and Nick arrived the next day to begin the job, and they were both so incredibly professional and respectful in our home. They worked quickly and efficiently on demo and restoration - removed the rotten drywall and mold, and left a huge dehumidifier and several fans in our kitchen until everything was dry. Each day they would check in to make sure the equipment was working properly, and this was over Christmas! The company cleaned the damaged areas well. The staff are great and polite to work with. Be careful with this company they are in bed with the insurance companies. After the Insurance Adjuster came, they agreed with everything she wrote and just wanted me to sign a their work agreement to do the work. Under the area,'Work to be completed" they wrote " whatever the adjuster agreed to". No estimates on anything, essentially they wanted me to sign a form without indicating the work they are contracted to do. Not very good business. I will not recommend this company based on their poor business contracts. No longer happy with this service. Everyone at Shamrock really went the extra mile for me during this water remediation process with my insurance. It was unfortunate that I had the water supply valve burst in my master bathroom and caused a flood. I called my insurance agent @ State Farm right away and she gave me 3 remediation company and Larry's people was able to come out right away so it puts me a little bit at ease. To make a long story short my insurance adjuster was taking a hell of a long time to process a claim that is so straight forward and after all that they didn't even compensate enough to cover all of my expenses, I was so livid. I called Andy from Shamrock explain to him that after a month of waiting we finally have the green light to do the remediation but I had to pay out of pocket to cover some of their invoice so Andy told me that he was going to call my insurance and see if he can renegotiate some more reimbursement for me. What do you know a few days later, I got an email for a second check I was so happy Andy was able to help an unfortunate homeowner. The day has finally come to demo all the walls and ceiling that was damaged and Daniel Damion did his magic in 30 mins he was done opening my whole Kitchen ceiling and he cut was done so nicely I think it would make the rebuild so much easier. I just had my carpets cleaned by Shamrock Cleaning and Restoration. They did an amazing job! I forgot how good freshly cleaned carpet felt under my feet. They brought my nearly 10 year old carpet back to life. While they were here I had them check out my air duct vents. I had noticed a lack of air flow in my heating and cooling system. When they went into my attic they discovered that a duct had come completely disconnected from the vent. I'm looking forward to seeing a saving on my electricity bills and living more comfortably. We had a leak from our second floor to the lower level. Which created a bubble fill with water. We didn't know the cause at the time. So my husband contacted a plumber the next morning to evaluate and he suggest contact Shamrock for a clean up. Andy show up at our home that afternoon to inspect the damage. He also assist with the insurance calm for the damage. Couple of days later Andy, Daniel and Nick show up and proceeded with the project by remove the wet dry wall. They first conceal the area with thick plastic to prevent any dust or debris from go all over the house and leave the drying equipments over the weekend. The area was set to dry and a few days later we notice another bubble building in a different area near the original site. We notified Andy of the issue right away. Plumber was called to fixed the issue and the appliance repair was completed. The following day Daniel showed up on time and was very pleasant and polite. He went straight to work and remove more wet dry wall all while keeping the outside area free of dust and debris. Daniel left the area to dry for the weekend and came to recheck to make the area is dry and no further damage. Daniel and Nick came to remove all plastic, equipment and clean up the area. Overall experience was great, couldn't ask for a better crew to do the job. Everyone was very professional and friendly. I hope not to use their service in the future but if I do.... So disappointed in Shamrock. After they completed a professional job of tearing down the kitchen wall and lower cabinets & letting fans run to prevent mold in our quarantined kitchen, I later noticed that almost all my electrical outlets were ripped out when they removed our granite backsplash. I spoke with Larry several times, and showed him pictures of the kitchen I took immediately after his guys left and before the other contractors came to rebuild our kitchen. Larry even told me he spoke to his employees who admitted they were responsible for the damage, stating there was no way the guys could have avoided damaging the outlets. I appreciate him being honest about this. But instead of sending me an electrician or paying the approximate $400 bill for the electrician I ultimately had to hire to fix my outlets, he kept giving me the run around, telling me he spoke to the insurance adjuster who said he'd look into reimbursing us. However when id immediately call the adjuster, i got a different story. I got bounced back and forth between the 2 for about 4 months. So while their work is professional, their decision to avoid this financial responsibilty, despite admitting liability, left a really bad taste in our mouths. We paid their expensive bill of over $4,200 without hesitation, but when it came to getting reimbursed a measly $400 for the damage they caused, i felt like a cat chasing a mouse. They finally offered to pay for the replacement parts ( which are probably about $10-$20) but we haven't seen a check to date...and what a joke anyway. Really bad move, Shamrock.
