Our kitchen had a devastating water leak. Half of our kitchen had to be ripped out. Our Restoration company John at Procare Services recommended Seib Construction who specializes in Cabinets. Owner Kevin Seib came out and he took his time listened to our needs and once his crew started they did amazing work. His crew was skilled and each detail was meticulous completed. They were clean and we cant say enough how well they did. If you are looking for custom Kitchen Cabinets don't look anywhere else. Seib Construction is your General Contractor. read more

I live in a condo where the cabinets were the basic ones. It was time for an update. I do what I do and go to Yelp. I see all the amazing reviews. I set up a few appointments for my husband. He liked Seib the most. Price was comparable. But, that didn't matter. I will say they did do good work. However, communication from the beginning was not even there. Luckily for them I had my husband do the communicating. Literally everything from setting up someone to come out to measure. There were issues with some of the doors and they needed to be fixed and it's been months. First the guy was sick. That's fine, I get it. But, no one even called to tell us. I live by my calendar so when someone messes with my schedule, it irritates me. Then when I reach out, I am told I will contact you tomorrow with availability. Tomorrow came and went and there are 2 cabinets with no doors. I finally reached out and said "where are my cabinets?" My husband owns a business and I am in sales. There's no way I could leave my customer hanging over and over again. I waited to write this review as I love promoting small businesses but, I just needed to let the people know that not everyone has the same experience. I have a text to my husband March 12 2024 that lists that items that went wrong: 1. Lack of communication 2. Dragged out project 3. Wrong base was installed 4. On the contract, they were to call the electrician but, I was told to. The communication was all over the place. I have the receipts. I always have the receipts... read more

I second my husband Wolf A. We had a great experience. Things did not go completely flawless, but these are big projects and I think it's fair to practice patience and communication. Kevin Seib was so good about correcting and adjusting any areas of concern before moving forward with the next steps of the project . His crew worked tirelessly to get a perfect finish on all stages of the work. My advice to all and especially to the women is to have a plan of what you want ready for him. Their work is spot on to what YOUR vision is. So be ready with pictures and ideas, he helped me put it all together, my vision and his craftsmanship. So know what you want to do and he will be ready to rock and roll. I absolutely LOVE my new kitchen!! THANK YOU KEVIN AND ISREAL and the whole crew. Forever grateful!! read more

Kevin and his team at Seib Construction really go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction!   Earlier this year my kitchen took a major hit when a water filter leak took out half of my cabinets and a big swatch of drywall, flooring, and wall moldings.  As if that weren't bad enough, the 1st contractor I hired to "demolish" and rebuild the damaged areas completely screwed up the rebuild portion of the work, and I had to call around looking for other contractors to finish the work. Fast forward a couple of months - after talking to a dozen or so contractors, and meeting with a couple who talked the talk but couldn't walk the walk, I found Seib Construction and hired them to finish rebuilding my kitchen. After Kevin and I agreed on the scope of the work, he delivered a time and costs estimate.  Because his company specializes in building and rebuilding custom kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, the good news was that the lion-share of the rebuild and refinishing work would be completed in Seib's shop.  The bad news was that doing the work offsite minimized my inconvenience, but it didn't make completing the project any faster - such is Life in the Fast Lane ;-) Throughout the project, Kevin had to coordinate multiple visits to my house by three different teams.  The work was finally finished last month, and the kitchen actually looks better than it did before the water damage happened.  I'm now a totally happy camper, and have no hesitation about recommending Kevin and his team to anyone looking for a quality contractor to rebuild or remodel their kitchen. read more

I needed only a simple shelf to match an existing cabinet. I knew the exact measurements and type of veneer. Steve at Seib got back to me promptly with a price and they got it done fast. I stopped by to pick it up and got the full tour of the shop. Very cool. I will contact Steve at Seib for the next project. read more

We had a water loss and our first company dropped the ball, so our insurance company immediately recommended Seib Construction. Kevin quickly contacted my wife and from that conversation we knee we were in good hands. Tony did an excellent work rebuilding the boxes, and matching the existing ones that were not damaged. He cleaned, degreased and finished all doors, and drawers. They look like new. We appreciated communication and would sincerely recommend them. read more

Seib Construction - Look at my beautiful kitchen! - Damage Restoration Near Me - Orange, California

We had water damage and for some strange reason Triple A recommended Seib construction to put our kitchen and living room back together. Most of the work was satisfactory, up until the flooring. Kevin recommended some travertine tile. Granted I didn't know much about remodeling and we did have a budget, I trusted Kevin's advice. He called me to say it was finished and come check it out. Just about half the tiles were uneven in height. Some were literally uneven enough to cause someone to trip. He told me he'd fix it. I went to review again after it was fixed, and it was still really bad. He calls me a few days later saying it was fixed. What his guys ended up doing was grinding our tile, without even sealing off the area. My young daughter's room was covered in dust, even though it was upstairs and the door was closed. Kevin did man up to it, and paid out of his own pocket to get my place professionally cleaned of the dust. That was two years ago. The tile he recommended now has completely fallen apart. He originally sent his guy out to patch up some of the holes, as apparently this is expected with travertine tile. I've done it myself as well, but it is really a lost cause. After this fiasco, Kevin did offer to redo the floor from scratch. Since we were out of our home for so long, due to the series of errors, our insurance was no longer covering our hotel, and we just needed the nightmare to end. Looking back, I should have taken him up on the offer, because we are getting ready to move, and we have to replace the flooring. A couple other notes potentially customers should be weary of: - He never asked me to pick out my actual granite slabs originally. His guys randomly picked some slabs. He did make up for this by uninstalling the slabs, and reinstalling the ones we picked. - His granite people cut the slabs outside of my home, and spread dust all over my neighbors cars and all over the street - His granite people had serious communication issues all around. I asked for a discount (he never offered) after all was said and done, and he gave me some minuscule amount. I would never in a million years recommend this guy to anyone. read more

After a flood in our kitchen Kevin Seib of Seib Construction provided an estimate to the insurance company to refurbish / rebuild our kitchen cabinets. He provided a realistic estimate that was not a low-ball and we were able to add about 10% to have Kevin build and install custom cabinets. Kevin is a licensed cabinet maker and general contractor and he has a 7000 Sq foot workshop. We are extremely happy with the job Kevin performed to rebuild our kitchen. The cabinets he built provide much more storage space than the old cabinets and the stain finish on alder looks like a fine furniture finish, but durable. He uses the highest quality hardware and everything fits well and works great. He worked with us to design the cabinets and he provides excellent computer drawn design drawings that made it easy to visualize the final product and make changes as desired. With his experience he is able to make insightful suggestions. Working with Seib construction was a pleasure. Kevin Seib was reliable, competent, flexible, and easy to work with, and communicates in a timely manner. He is customer oriented and meets his commitments. All of his workers and sub-contractors were on time, friendly, and provided high quality work. read more

Recommended by our Insurance Company, AAA, after a slab leak damaged our cabinets. This was the only company who said they could rebuild the damaged cabinets and save our countertops. After sever meetings with Kevin, the owner, we decided to hire him, and we decided to go with a new kitchen, but save the existing counter top. This is not a easy undertaking. The existing sink was slightly sagging, which they were able to repair. Tony did the work for our kitchen, and the quality and workmanship is top quality custom cabinets. Excellent communications and great ideas from both Kevin and Tony. During the build, tony came up with some great suggestions and solutions. They did a good job of protecting the existing floors, and sealing the work from the rest of the house. We are very happy with the finish product, and would recommend them for any kitchen work. P.S. The work was done during COVID 19, and the crew was safe distance mask compliant, which made my wife very happy. read more

What an excellent experience it is working with Seib Construction! I wanted to write this review during our process because having a kitchen flood and rebuilding it is stressful. Kevin, Larry, and the team have taken that stress away with their dedication to excellence! Our insurance company sent Seib out to decide if our water-soaked cabinets could be rebuilt. Larry came and inspected everything and worked with our insurance on an estimate for repair versus rebuild. After meeting with Larry, I knew this was the company I wanted to rebuild our kitchen. Kevin came out to make drawings of our dream kitchen. As I talked with Kevin, he completely understood what I envisioned, made the best recommendations, and designed an amazing kitchen. Last week, the cabinets were put in. They are perfect! I looked briefly at the first few cabinets but then had other work to do. When I returned to the kitchen after the first day of work, I was immediately in love with the beauty and craftsmanship. What is truly impressive is that the team reviews everything with the most critical eye. If there is any slight issue, they have already seen it, will point it out to you, and tell you what will be done so it is perfect. For example, our wall is not straight on one side. We noticed a slight gap. When the carpentry part of the installation was done, we did not have to point this out. The carpenter, Israel, told us the next steps, pointed it out, and said they would be adding some molding to that spot and every matching spot. Basically, he told us how they would make our kitchen perfect! It is hard to put into words how comforting it has been to work with a company that we can completely trust, but I have felt that way from the first day with Seib. I currently walk into my kitchen and marvel at the beauty, and we are still not done. Even though we still have to install our countertops, floor, and backsplash, it is already beautiful, and I, who like to overthink everything, know that Kevin has it all handled. What a relief and what a great company! read more

I'm creating this review on Veteran's Day, a day that commemorates profound and sacrificial military service to our Country. I'm leaving this review for a different kind of service...service provide to an extremely satisfied home owner and customer of Kevin Seib Construction. Kevin responded to water damage in my Kitchen. My homeowner's Insurance AAA recommended the best in the business! Kevin's crews covered every aspect of my remodel, from superior cabinet installation, to electrical, to plumbing. All were wonderful people who paid complete and thoughtful attention to detail and customer satisfaction. Kevin's gift for kitchen design and superior cabinetry construction and support took so much stress out of the process. He helped with wise advice throughout. Whenever there was a concern or issue, Kevin was always quick to respond and address the matter. Israel, Who handled the installation of the cabinetry was superb throughout, a quality control expert throughout the process assuring satisfaction of the completed project. The end result was a beautiful kitchen beyond expectations. The beauty of the cherrywood cabinetry, the overall design of the kitchen, the new tile flooring, the beautiful arrangement of the reconfigured appliances.....all have made my wife and I thrilled that we selected Kevin Seib and his team to create a beautiful new "experience" in our home. We couldn't be more pleased, and encourage anyone considering either refurbished kitchen cabinetry or a complete upgrade and remodel to contact Kevin Seib Construction in Orange, California. Seib construction did an awesome job, restoring our kitchen island that had been damaged due to a dishwasher leak. We specifically wanted a company that could carefully preserve the existing granite countertop and they were able to do just that - building a scaffolding below and removing the cabinets below that were damaged carefully and restoring them to match the original dark cherry wood color. Everything looks just like new! They were able professionally re-finish the other cabinets to match to look just as same and to the original color. Would highly recommend Seib construction for any restoration work!! read more

I don't typically hire contractors to work on my house, as I work for a specialty construction company as ten National Sales Mgr. and have been doing my own work for 30 years. I also have never written a review for a Construction Co before, none were worthy. I was referred to Kevin and his company through my insurance because this required a cabinet specialist, and specialist they were. They removed my countertops without damage, removed and rebuilt my custom cabinets, and when the rest of the repairs were finished, they re-installed my REFINISHED original cabinets with all new boxes. The kitchen looks GREAT! Thanks to the great communication during the process, and ALWAYS showing up when you said you would, that's ultimately what earned this review. read more

There is a reason all the reviews are 5 star. They are the best contractors that have ever worked on my house. After my family room and kitchen were flooded the insurance company had a company come in and take care of the mold and asbestos. We needed the walls and cabinets redone. SEIB did a great job refurbishing and rebuilding my water damaged bathroom cabinets. I had a slow leak inside my wall for years . A remediation crew found it and ripped out my water damaged wood cabinets on one side of the bathroom. The other side was untouched. SIEB came out and reassured me they could match them up. They picked up my untouched cabinets and completely duplicated them from scratch on the damaged side. It was pretty amazing . Highly recommended. read more

Great work. Long story short, through insurance, they redid my drywall, painted, installed cabinetry, installed wall tiling, and installed shower doors due to a leak in the restroom. They did it to both the master and other bathroom. Freddy was a great worker and extremely friendly. He communicated with me well and I understood what was going on at all times. Tony did a great job making my kitchen cabinets look as good as new after our water leak episode. He stained all the new wood pieces to match the color perfectly to the old wood. He hung all the cabinet doors and drawers that had to be removed in the drying process. We just recently completed a kitchen cabinet remodel in our home and we couldn't be happier with Seib Construction and ALL the employees that visited our home from start to finish. Seldom anymore do we find a contractor who is dependable, shows up on time, and does everything as promised as well as provide incredible results. I so appreciated being apprised by his Superintendent, Tony the night before what was to be expected the next day. My kitchen was a re-facing project but they did other things with the current space that gave me additional space both in the drawers and cabinets. Still not sure how they did it. Bottom line, I can't say enough about Seib Construction and highly recommend them. This is our second home where we have used them. Well deserving of all 5 stars! Rhonda Domeno Placentia read more

Had my whole house destroyed from broken water pipe under house. Home had to be completely gutted and rebuilt. I met Kevin through my insurance carrier and was really fortunate he was the one referred to me. After 8 months of construction, Kevin not only did what he promised, but went over the top to please my wife and I doing things he didn't have to do. The home is beautiful and we are enjoying being back in it. The quality of work was exceptional and if something was wrong he would quickly jump on it and have it corrected.
