After experiencing a pipe leak in my home, I needed to replace my flooring. I couldn't be happier with the flooring work done by this company. The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and the entire team was professional, courteous, and always on time. What impressed me most was how attentive they were to my concerns. They listened carefully, answered my questions, and always took the time to put me at ease. That level of communication and care made what could have been a stressful project a very positive experience. The finished flooring looks beautiful, and I am extremely pleased with the results. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality work and a team they can trust. read more

Daniel the project Mgr. coordinated everything and was most helpful. Would certainly use this Company again and Highly Recommend them. read more

Wow.. ABG has an amazing team. We had a commercial project with them that was a total remodel and refresh. Mike, Claudiu, and Daniel provided excellent service and communication through the entire project with amazing attention to quality and detail. Their ops team with Dios was extremely helpful and patient. Their construction guys including Edgar and Daniel were thoughtful, tidy, and got us to the finish line. After experiencing a slab leak we contacted our homeowners insurance. they verify the damage to our walls, cabinets and floor in our kitchen area. Our insurance company got things in motion. They contacted ABG Construction and Restoration and they did not loose any time. By the next day ABG had one of their employee to begin measuring and assessing our damage. Once the insurance gave their approval ABG got to work. ABG staff were supportive and assisted us in selecting materials by providing guidance to successfully completing the task - on time. I may add their workers were on task. They did an amazing job. They kept us informed and very respectful. I appreciate their effort and their quality of work. In a scale 1 to 10, 10 being best, they get a 15 for amazing workmanship. read more

We are very satisfied with ABG's professional remodeling work for our house. We did not have damage, it was just an old rental that we wanted to fix up. They did a great job and are trustworthy, transparent, honest, and upfront all around from the CEO, Mike, to our project manager, Daniel, and tradespeople, helpers, subcontractors, etc. etc. This is a well-run operation with decades of experience with the same CEO. This is NOT a contractor that is disorganized, inexperienced, lacking long-standing connections to subs, or struggling with funding for finishing projects! It took us over six months to find ABG, which *normally gets business through word of mouth.* Most GCs were not interested in our project. Our budget was limited. We were very prepared with plans in hand and a structural engineer already. We also had bad experiences with other GCs so we were very critical. We also followed the free and paid advice of "Undercover Architect," which was an invaluable resource to us and involved a lot of preparation work and time on our part before we even started contacting GCs. We interviewed several GCs and did reference checks. This was all a ton of work and time. Then, at the last minute, a relative's neighbor recommended ABG. We toured this neighbors house. ABG's work looked great, of course and importantly, they had nothing but great things to say about ABG. And that neighbor is no schmuck! We also knew ABG also worked fast with a large crew, completing the neighbor's very large project in an extra ordinary short amount of time. So I contacted ABG after narrowing the field to two other contractors that we solicited bids from. Mike did the estimate. ABG's contract was straightforward but also very detailed and straightforward with the costs involved. I also did reference checks of course, where the three recent and current clients I contacted said nothing but praise as well for ABG. Over the course of the project, the work was completed very well in a timely fashion with no big $urpirse$. There were of course disagreements and concerns we raised about this or that, but it was all resolved in a professional and mutually beneficial way. These folks are honest! They have not hesitated after the project finished to help with small things we didn't catch as well. We are recommending them to other family members and anyone else. Thank you ABG! read more

Have you ever had a difficulty getting a contractor. Especially them not calling you back or not coming back out to do work after getting your deposit? Well we needed to fire our original contractor to get the rest of our kitchen finished after remediation. Mike was super responsive and quick to turn around. The workers were professional and very accommodating and nice. Daniel worked with us on making sure that everything was going well with the project and they wrapped up in a very short amount of time. I highly recommend them and are using them for additional projects. read more

I had some water damage in my upstairs and downstairs bathrooms and submitted a claim through my insurance. One of their preferred contractors was ABG. I solicited their services and have no regrets. They were fast on completing repairs/upgrades, always punctual, and work very hard to provide quality service. They have very hard workers that take pride in their work. A medicine cabinet got damaged during demolition and they replaced it at no cost. All the people were very courteous and helpful in the selection of products. I would highly recommend them for your remodeling/home repair needs. They are very trustworthy. I would certainly use them again, if needed. Thank you ABG! read more

ABG construction saved us not only once, but twice now. Our sunken dining room flooded in October. ABG had their crew out right away repairing drywall, painting and replacing the flooring. My home looked amazing after they left. Unfortunately, one of the rooms they had just done paint and flooring in flooded two months later. I was crushed. My beautiful new floors had to be pulled up in that room and the freshly painted walls had to be torn out. I told my insurance company that I wanted the same contractor's that I had previously had. ABG had done such an amazing job the first time and they wasted no time making my home look like there was no damage at all. I honestly can't recommend them enough. read more

I was recommended to use this company by my insurance company when I had to get some re work done. In the beginning they were helpful and responsive however they didn't send a project manager out to get a scope of the work. It was done through texts and pictures. I had to act as the project manager , tell them what I needed and when to send each professional out. Their painter was very nice however if ABG couldn't get their drywall guy out , they would ask their painter to do the job! It wasn't until the very end of the project when the contract manager arrived to have me sign off on the job as completed and fulfilled. They pride themselves on being honest and religious, however they're willing to commit insurance fraud. That had me scratching my head... read more

ABG Construction truly stands behind their business model of QUALITY. INTEGRITY.TRUST. I highly recommend ABG. They will exceed your expectation! We had a water leak that caused extensive damage and needed to replace the cabinets, counter tops, and flooring. From start to finish of the project, everyone from ABG were professional, approachable, and helpful. Mike and Elena helped in the design process, then Mike walked the space of the kitchen with the new design and flow made sense. Even when we thought that the design was good, Mike reviewed the plans several times and made suggested minor changes that made a huge difference to design esthetic. He would say "if this was my house" so he really shows that he truly cares about his clients. Mike's attention to detail is EXCEPTIONAL! All of Mike's employees at ABG are professional, helpful, honest and takes pride in their work. Their work is high quality craftsmanship. Elena provides excellent design advice, helped us select materials like a professional designer, assisted with sourcing what we needed during these pandemic challenging times. Elena truly goes above and beyond. If she gives you advice, listen to her. Elena's advice is worth it's weight in gold. Benito is truly a jack of all trades. There's nothing he can't do well. He is prompt, professional, honest, and does good work. He always leaves the job-site clean and tidy. Juan is a great cabinet maker. Truly artistic and a craftsman. We love our cabinets! Quality is exceptional. Nick electrician work is quality, very professional, and detail oriented. Nick cleaned up the mess of wires that electrician left inside the walls when the house was originally built. Mike's project managers Daniel and Claudius are some of the best around. Always helpful, professional, honest, and does their best to move the project along. I highly recommend ABG construction and would not hesitate to use ABG again. It's hard to find a contractor who you can trust and has integrity like no other. Quality is top notch. Attention to detail is phenomenal. Extremely helpful and really goes above and beyond. Check out their showroom! They have a huge selection of stones, flooring, cabinets, hardware and what nots. First impression may seem like there's not much but look closer and you will find a great selection of on trend quality materials. If ABG doesn't have it, Elena will work her magic! I cannot give enough praise for Mike and his team. Quality and Integrity is the best! read more

I am a first time homebuyer and needed to get some construction done before moving into my new place. This was all new to me but I had called several companies to find out more about their services and pricing. When I came across ABG, I noticed how honest and professional they were compared to the other companies. ABG really does look out for the best interest of their clients/customers. I felt taken care of through the whole process. It wasn't like the other companies where I felt like they were trying to milk me for as much money as they could. I really appreciated working with ABG. I will use them again for additional renovations to my home in the future. read more

ABG was highly recommended by a couple of my coworkers and now I see why. They just finished remodeling my kitchen from the ground to the ceiling and from wall to wall. Not only ABG provided a detailed and very competitive estimate but also 3D drawings to scale, outlining every cabinet, counter top and appliance in the kitchen. I was out of town for one week in the middle of the project, but Daniel (the Project Manager) kept me informed with the progress and even sent me pictures. Even though this was a small project for them, they made me feel that my project was very important, having said this, I am definitely going to keep in them in mind for my next project. read more

ABG got the job done within the timeline given (which was less time than other contractors had predicted) and kept within the budget. Mike and his team recently completed a small reconstruction job for me and I could not have been happier with their work - I would DEFINITELY recommend them! From Mike's comprehensive and professional estimating process, to his assisting me understand some of the "peculiarities" of dealing with an insurance company, to the project supervisor (Daniel,) to the men who completed my job (Benito and Poncho,) everyone I met (at ABG Construction) were punctual, professional, friendly, efficient and highly customer-focused. When I had to renovate a commercial building for my practice, I was very concerned as it was my first time doing any type of construction. I also had a very limited time frame and a small budget. After reviewing 6 quotes, I selected ABG, because of Mike, the owner, explaining everything to me, their showroom, a very helpful designer, and their own crew. His quote was fair & detailed. During construction, I got to work with Adrian, the project manager, and his crew. They were professional and they kept the work site clean. Adrian answered all of my questions and took care of all problems/changes. He even came back after the project was done to make sure everything was working properly. Construction will always be a little stressful. But, I'm very glad that I had chosen ABG. We finished on time & very close to budget. I'm grateful for their work and their professionalism. I'd definitely hire Adrian and ABG again. read more

This is our second house/ projects with ABG. I can't say enough good things about them. They worked extremely hard and always wanted to make my family happy(my dog loves them!)! For my 100 year old craftsman in Floral Park, they did some structural work( held the structural engineers hand, that I hired) and did two bathrooms. I attached pictures. This review is overdue. We did a pretty big remodel on our 1950's home. Kitchen, Laundry room, flooring, windows, stucco. From the beginning, with Mike, the owner, the planning was thorough. He understood what I wanted and made some wonderful suggestions that covered my lack of knowledge. Elena, in the office, was a terrific help with choices of colors and materials. Daniel, the project manager, was there everyday checking on the progress. The crew itself were amazing. They showed up on time, cleaned up when they were finished everyday. It was a long process, but they progressed quickly. Mitch was a wonder. He makes it happen. Sometimes, I wasn't ready for his questions about how we wanted certain things done. My lack of complete preparedness. He was patient and we sorted out. Big help, Mitch. The whole crew was awesome. Thanks guys! One hiccup, and I figured there would be more, but no. It was corrected, thanks to Mike. He is a good man of great character. I recommend ABG without hesitation. Try them out, you will not be disappointed. read more

We recently had our bathroom remodeled, after discovering a water leak. Mike worked directly with our insurance company to make sure we received the proper compensation. Mike was very patient and responsive to my messages and helpful in coming up with options for our remodel. I took the time to get a couple more quotes, but ABG offered the best value. Once the work began, Daniel took over the project. The crew arrived on time and were very easy to work with. We were happy with the tile available at the shop, and love our new bathroom cabinets. We wanted to buy the tub and sinks on our own, and that wasn't a problem. I made some changes to design as the project moved forward, and Daniel was very receptive to my changes and worked with me. He was very responsive to all my messages. I am very indecisive, so I ended up hiring a designer to help, and Daniel worked with her ideas also. The main challenge was that the work took longer than expected, but I guess that's pretty typical for a remodel! Once the project was finished, we found a couple areas of damage, and Daniel was very helpful in replacing/repairing damage, and he made sure I was happy with final product. My husband and I LOVE our new bathroom, and we'd definitely work with ABG again. read more

Mike and his guys did a great job on our kitchen remodel, removing a wall, installing a structural support beam, window replacement, and new electrical panel. I am so grateful to Mike and all his team for the work in my kitchen and first floor. What a difference! My kitchen sink/dishwasher area had to be restored and repaired after my dishwasher was installed incorrectly by the manufacturer and leaked and caused mold. All done with great skill and care. It went so well I asked them to help with some additional repairs in my kitchen/living area and painted the first floor. I am so pleased with how nice everything looks. On top of the work, they had excellent communication and kept me informed with every step. No surprises. They are honest and trustworthy. In late Feb. 2022, we had a water pipe burst under our kitchen sink in our mobile home. The damage was significant and after water mitigation, our kitchen was gutted. Everything, cabinets, flooring, appliances, drywall, insulation inside our walls and under the home...even the kitchen sink had to be removed. While our homeowners insurance would cover the damage, we still had to find a contractor. We contacted many contractors who gave us the run around or wouldn't quote us without signing a contract first and "they would work with our insurance". The water mitigation company we used, Dry Pro's (another excellent company), suggested ABG Construction. President Mike Antimie came out and assessed the damage and restoration costs. His quote was quick and right on target. Other contractors who did quote, ended up 30% higher than ABG Construction. ABG's quote was more than the insurance adjuster was claiming the cost would be. ABG's quote was very open and transparent. Mike at ABG worked with our insurance agent and provided a clear picture of what the actual restoration would cost. The insurance adjuster came back out and agreed. As soon as the insurance issued a check, the ABG Construction team was at our home. They knew exactly how to priority schedule the work that needed to be done. Each ABG sub-contractor was on time, professional, accommodating, and used quality materials. I am an aerospace Facilities Director and Production Manager. I watched every detail from scheduling, work efficiency, materials, processes and ABG didn't miss a beat. No corners cut. Fast yet consistent and accurate work. ABG has a showroom locally. Their designer Elena worked with us, provided us great ideas and solutions as well as 3D drawings. The ABG team was in touch with us consistently. Their project managers Daniel and Claudiu were on top of everything. Their entire work crews are top notch, very knowledgeable, respectful and clean. The work is now completed and our entire kitchen and surrounding affected areas are showroom / model home quality. Our kitchen is awesome. My wife and I are extremely pleased and I would recommend ABG Construction to anyone. It's great to see there are honest, hardworking, reputable companies out there like ABG. We have a bathroom we'd like to remodel in the future and our first and only call will be to ABG Construction. read more

We received 4 bids and ABG's numbers were very competitive so we felt comfortable in hiring them. We remodeled our Living Rm, Kitchen and Family Rm. We did mostly cosmetic stuff such as paint and flooring, crown molding, baseboard, etc. The big ticket was refinishing our 30 year old Oakwood kitchen cabinets. We were very skeptical that they could be painted white, but to our amazement they look fabulous, especially with the new backsplash. ABG's crews were very professional and they all do quality work. They kept me informed about the status of the work and that was greatly appreciated. I would definitely hire them again for our next remodel project. Mike, Adrian, Mitch, Emi and all the ABG team was fantastic at doing our complete renovation of the house.
