Randy, the owner, sold us kitchen tile that was not rated for pool use--for our pool! He did not make it right. When we tried to replace it, he quoted us $21.95 per square foot for the EXACT same tile we purchased elsewhere for $11.95. We feel completely ripped off. The original sale was bad enough, but the way Randy handled the replacement made it worse. Absolutely unacceptable. We will never do business here again or recommend them to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and take your money elsewhere. read more

Whew, this place is overwhelming, but in the best way! Our contractor sent us here to pick out flooring and tile, and we found a few options we really liked. The customer service was excellent. They took the time to show us flooring options in both the main showroom and the outlet, which gave us a lot more choices to consider. If you're remodeling and don't mind spending some time browsing, this is definitely worth a visit. read more

My wife and I went to many tile stores before this one which was the last one. We've purchased all of our tiles there as they have the widest and best selection to choose from! I've been working with Isaac who has been awesome to work with! They are very cool with borrowing tiles to see them under home light to make that final decision! I've been there so many time to try different tiles that Isaac know my name! Lol. Great person to work with! Isaac is knowledgeable and answered all my technical questions! This place will be the first place I'd come for my next home project! read more

Sadly, only giving one star. Everything was excellent, until it wasn't. They over sold us our floor as I believe the over calculated the square footage. No big deal. Still had the floor in the boxes wrapped in plastic and they won't take them back. Now we have 20 extra boxes of flooring we don't know what to do with. I would highly recommend buying way less than they suggest and buy more later. read more

Wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Found the tile I wanted online, and called my new friend Danny Perez at State College Distributors. He helped me get exactly the right thing by the end of the week, AND honored a coupon from the manufacturer which saved me about $600! Easy and fast pick up, got a great (free!) bottle of stone cleaning solution and am about to call Danny back because I need a bit more tile for a change order. Great business and an exceptional employee. Easy to give 5 stars to these guys. read more

I was lucky enough for my friend to refer me to Esteban at State College, he was extremely helpful and responded very fast every time I've needed something. Shop here first! We had to patch some areas of slate in our backyard. We were having trouble finding the matching tiles. We went to State College and worked with Efrain. We showed him a picture and he called his distributor. They were able to find it and gave us a very fair price. Not sure where I bothered going anywhere else first. Highly recommend especially working with Efrain and George. read more

I have to give thanks to my man JC Flores here. I recently went tile shopping for multiple bathrooms and visited a few of the stores in the area. After some time going back and forth between choices he helped me narrow them down and gave me the best prices (yes I checked with other shops and this place easily beat them all). Also, after my tile contractor picked up the material we encountered a small issue that JC resolved in no time. I went back a few days later after deciding to also do the laundry room floor and got some good recommendations and ended up with another killer tile. The level of service from him was top notch and he's my go-to guy next time I need material. read more

So I have frequented many slab yards and as far as customer service a shout out to George, Jeffery and Jose who work as a team effortlessly. THIS is what sets them apart from any other yard .. we put a deposit down on (2) slabs of Taj not knowing anything more than they would be delivered in 3 weeks. When they arrived I inspected the most beautiful pieces that I have ever seen .... They also have everything from Italian mosaic backsplash tiles to hi quality hardware and sinks .... I highly recommend doing business with them. read more

The worst place to go look for materials, flooring, tile, countertops, ect. Customer service is awful! Jorge Solis is a real jerk! He claims to be an interior designer and I would like to know where did he go to school for that because his taste is horrible! The showroom is very disorganized , dirty and prices are overpriced! Many other good places to go instead! I do not recommend this place at all! read more

Jonathan Jonathan Jonathan - this guy is patient, knowledgeable of inventory, responds quickly to messages/requests/inquiries and all in between. Carried my various samples out to my truck, offered his input and remained neutral as I changed up the entire selection and order. Interior design and remodeling is often like a box of chocolates. This review is for our guy EFRAIN!! My mom and I have been working with Efrain on a bunch of big projects for our new house: flooring, countertop stone, and bathroom tiles and he has been amazing from start to finish. He's always so kind and respectful, never pushy, and super communicative. We really felt how genuine he is; you can tell he truly cares and isn't just trying to make a sale. He walked us through options, answered every question, and always tried to help us get the best deal without cutting corners on quality. We're already talking about more projects and possibly more houses in the future, and we'll definitely be coming back to see Efrain. Highly recommend working with him!! read more

We bought our tile and had them install the tile as well. The installation was the absolute best experience. I needed to delay things due to some personal issues and they worked with me on the scheduling. Our installers were Lalo and Carlos and they did a beautiful job. With other companies in the past I have had to come in and have them redo things and they did not need my help at all. They were very patient with all of my questions and cleaned up after themselves every single day. The tile and floorboards are level and there are no gaps. I am thoroughly impressed with this team. read more

State college distributors made my dreams come true! I am back I am back purchasing wood floors from the store, because I know the quality is exceptional, and they have not only a large variety of options, but also great advice that they provide to their customers. My first project a few months ago, was for my two bathrooms. I had searched stone in various places, when someone recommended this, I was happy to see how many options in grade display they had. Once I saw the stone for one of my bathrooms, blue color, I just knew this was the store where I was going to purchase everything. See picture attached. Efrain is a great advisor who not only was always available for phone calls to verify square footage and options, or delivery time, or coordinate with my contractors, but also offered choices that were better quality and or value when needed. I really appreciate that. read more

Unsettling Experience with Sales Rep Tom N. I had a very uncomfortable and puzzling experience at this store, particularly with sales representative Tom N. I checked out one small flooring sample (approximately 5 sq ft) and filled out the required sample checkout form. Tom insisted on taking my credit card information as collateral, stating that I would be charged $75 if the sample wasn't returned. I offered to pay $5 in cash instead, but he declined, insisting on having the card details. When I asked how my information would be stored, he said it would be kept in a locked drawer--something I found concerning in 2025, given expectations around data privacy and security. Reluctantly, I provided the card and left the store. Just a few minutes later, I received a phone call from Tom asking if I had taken his pen. I checked and realized I had unintentionally walked out with it. He told me it was a new pen that a customer had given him and asked that I return it with the sample. My daughter and I were stunned. It was a basic branded promotional pen--something typically handed out for free. The pettiness of the request was baffling and, frankly, off-putting. We decided immediately that we didn't want to continue any further business. We returned to the store and gave the sample back. I asked for the original checkout form I had signed, but Tom handed me a different customer's form. I pointed out the mistake, especially since this incorrect form showed multiple samples being checked out without any payment details or card information recorded--unlike mine, which had a $75 penalty noted. When I identified my actual form on his desk and took it back, Tom appeared visibly unsettled. The inconsistency in how forms were being managed raised serious questions for me. I can't help but feel that I may have been treated differently due to my race, which left me with a very uneasy feeling. This experience was disappointing and disheartening, and I would not recommend doing business here. read more
