Moving plumbing, gas lines and electrical to accommodate moving the entire kitchen, adding electrical panels, and going through 2 stories. Hire them immediately. Service and craftsmanship were excellent. Value was unmatched. I cannot adequately convey just how much better they are than any other contractor I've dealt with. Ceiling collapse and water damage from pooling and eventual leaks in the roofing done by another contractor a few years prior when we dealt with the same issues. We had already received 3 quotes before Busy Bee came out to provide one. Upon seeing the situation, they offered to (and did) come back with plastic sheeting to cover the leaks and prevent further severe damage from the ongoing rain - free of charge and with no commitment to move forward with them for the actual work. That would be enough for a five star review, but it got even better. Their quote was more competitive on price than the other 3 we received, AND included more extensive work (adding crickets through the entire roof) that want even recommended by the others, who wanted to just replace the bad boards and re-tar the existing roof, without addressing the pooling that caused the damage. So the choice was obvious, but it also seemed almost too good to be true. We're there going to be "surprises" later? Thankfully, no. They handled the permitting, mold testing and remediation, interior repairs, and did such a good job the city inspector was impressed and suggested the repairs must have cost an amount that was more than double the quote and final invoice (never a "surprise" expense or problem to drive up the originally quoted cost) from Busy Bee. I found my older pictures from the first time remodel that Dror did. This was a huge job of expanding square footage of the house, moving kitchen from one location to the newly expanded section, repiping the water pipes to go up through the attic. I had such a fun time designing the kitchen and got exactly what I wanted. This was a difficult job as I have vaulted ceilings and it took Dror several back and forth with the city and their inspections to get the green light to proceed. I recall it raining during construction and even though we were missing a wall on one side of the house, Drors guys made sure they put up tarps and temporary boards to make sure we were protected from the elements. When they demo the old kitchen, I asked if they could keep the cabinets intact and mount them in my garage for extra storage which they were nice enough to do. The whole process was smooth for my experience. We were in need of renovating our upstairs bathroom/tub area and were requesting quotes from a variety of different contractors. However, from my pastor's recommendation, we found Dror and were extremely pleased that we did. The minute he walked in the door, with no bathroom material binder, we felt like he really knew his stuff. Our friend referred us to Dror and Busy Bee Construction and what a game-changer that turned out to be! We'd already received several other quotes spanning a very wide range of prices as well as differing opinions on duration and feasibility of the project. Dror gave us a quote at the low end of the spectrum, thoroughly explained the work--including sequence/duration--and instilled in us the confidence that he and his team had the expertise to get it done and were more concerned with delivering a quality product than with maximizing profit. (Sounds too good to be true and usually a low initial bid means that you get slammed with change orders...but when I added painting scope to the project, I felt like I had to beg him to let me pay him more.) These photos show the before/after of our kitchen. Busy Bee's scope included all the rough work, lighting/electrical modifications, new windows and exterior stucco patching/painting, installation of all appliances and the range hood, and interior painting (originally just the kitchen but expanded to the whole house). Even though it wasn't his contract, Dror helped us look for kitchen counter stone and hooked us up with a porcelain installer after our first one flaked...just one of many "extra mile" items that you'd never expect from a contractor these days. We had our ADU built by Busy Bee in 2021 - with permits, demo, build and finish, all starting around the wake of pandemic, it was far more than what my husband and I anticipated. We met with 10 different contractors for this project and to me, Dror sounded to good to be true at the time yet I felt he was genuine after hearing bunch of contractors with the same old pitch. We are so thankful to have found him, he never reversed his promises and even went far beyond what was promised initially. To me, it was about what Dror did for us when things out of both of our control occurred and how it was handled opposed to "everything went as planned." Things will happen (in our case, the city permits) but he handled everything for us and fought for us every step of the way to get what we wanted. This ADU was for my mom and he built a beautiful home where she has now lived in for over a year.
