I got my house remodeled from this company as shown on the portfolio. Every bathroom, all of the flooring, plumbing, hardware, and carpet was done. After one year, the grouting was coming out. Only one of his workers, Louis, does all of the actual work but it's incomplete. Our toilet plumbing was done incorrectly and it leaked onto our ceiling right after the remodel in which he had to come and cut a hole to repair it yet again. The tile installation and grouting is uneven. The tiles have started to crack in many areas. It's not a professional job. We had a leakage issue in one of our bathrooms. Louis came, took out the toilet as well as the carpet, and didn't even bother to put it back. Now they won't answer my calls or texts. And I have an unusable bathroom. They are asking an unreasonable amount to put it back and didn't even inform me before doing this. I would think twice before hiring them. read more

Before you hire them. Read the other low reviews. Pretty much spot on. Lacking attention to detail. Painful process towards the end. Did a bathtub remodel and the grout from the shower wall tiles started seeping out immediately after initial usage. They came back to fix it a second time with sanded grout, seeped out again. I had to use extra money and my own time to research the solution myself and pickup waterproof silicone to fix the issue. Because they kept on insisting on using sanded grout when obviously it was not working. This baffled me, how I had to find the fix to the problem when I had paid them a lot of money to get the job done The cut tiles look like paper cuts up close with ragged edges. There are spots where water pools up because the tile was not laid down with the proper slope. Andrew doesn't do any of the work himself. He has contractors that work for him. Whom are left unsupervised to get the job done. The quality of work was not anywhere close to the standards that I read in the other reviews and I would definitely not use them again. Nor would I recommend them to anyone. read more

If you're looking for a contractor to do small jobs, find someone else. My understanding is JG Decor will not accept working for you, if it's under a couple thousand dollars. I recently contacted Andrew for an estimate for several jobs in my house. I had hired him about 7 years ago for a bathroom remodel, and they did a good job. Because I needed to get a brand new AC for my house recently, (and they are really costly!) I decided to reduce the amount of work due to budget constraints. I wanted to hire him for one of the jobs that I had mentioned him. Andrew first told me to wait as he was away. Then didn't reply my texts. When I called him, he told me the job was too small for him and wouldn't be worth his time. I am also surprised about the insulting comment he made about me being now divorced, ( I was married when he did the bathroom job for us). I was hoping to use his services but I don't think I'll contact him again. read more

Before my husband and I moved into our new home, there were some small adjustments we wanted to make to really make it feel fresh, new, and like it was ours. What a HUGE difference a good patching, new paint, and shutters make! For all the windows, we replaced curtain rods/curtains with new shutters. Such as massive improvement in terms of look and appeal. For the paint work, we were a bit more selective to focus in on several main areas - fresh paint for the front door, all throughout the living room, bedrooms, and hallways, a couple ceilings, and a mismatched door. There were some sizable holes leftover from the previous owners with TV mounts and random cables & plates that didn't serve any purposes. You would have NEVER known those were there as the patch work was perfect and blended well with everything. Andrew and his team did all the work faster than originally quoted/anticipated and were able to meet our timeline needs before moving in. I gladly recommend Andrew's team for a remodel. Polite, prompt, professional, clean, honest, and hard working is how I would describe the crew that worked in our home. We had a furnace closet converted into a regular closet. This involved demo, new dry wall (+mudding, sanding, texture, painting), a new light and flooring. The closet looks as though it has always been here (with the bonus of being pristine and ready to go!). We are very happy, and I'm so glad to have the space. As a bonus, when our cat somehow made it into the old grates, they happily helped retrieve him. They cleaned up after themselves, and left no mess. In 2019 I had JG install flooring. It was LVP ("Luxury Vinyl Planks") for a 2 story house, including the stair case. Their bid was competitive and maybe slightly lower than others. We went with them because they did a really good job painting the exterior of my house. I know that painting and flooring are completely different skills but our experience was good with Andrew. Well, Andrew is still a good guy but his flooring people are not as great as his painting people. The good: They were fast and efficient. The job was done in just a few days (part of the nature of LVP). The bad: Attention to detail is lacking. In more obscure places (e.g., laundry room, transition pieces), they left gaps between planks and I had to cut/scrub off glue clumps. Also there are a couple stair lips that are not "fastened" the best. They moved slightly when I put weight on them while the other lips did not. I discovered there is a gap between the lip and the the stair. I notified Andrew and he said he would fix them if they break. Not the response I was looking for. Unfortunately, I didn't discover these issues until a month or so after they completed the job. Maybe I'm being too critical. And I take some blame for not reviewing their work immediately. So please take my review with a grain of salt. read more
