We had a great experience working with JG Decor on our home renovation. We spoke with multiple contractors, but Andrew was the best. They completely redid our home including a kitchen remodel, new floors, fireplace renovation, and bathroom remodels. We are very happy with how everything looks and it came out beautiful. Andrew was great at communicating. He answered our questions promptly and frequently checked in on the house. We were impressed with his timeliness as the project was completed according to schedule. read more

Andrew and his team are the BEST! I got 4 bids, and Andrew not only came in at the lowest price but also offered the best service. His communication and response times were top-notch, which to me is extremely important! I cannot recommend them enough and will be using them for any needs I have in the future. He did our master bath but we were so happy with the work we ended up doing our kitchen countertops/sink as well! read more

I hired JG Decor to redo all the flooring in my house as well as some other random work (replacing doors, etc). I had a wonderful experience- the communication was great, the price was very fair and his workers did terrific work. Even after the job and payment was completed, Andrew came back right away to adjust a loose step that occurred weeks after the work was done. I definitely plan on hiring JG Decor again! read more

When my wife and I moved into our new house, we were in desperate need of renovations and upgrades. I interviewed multiple general contractors in the area but Andrew was by far the best one. We did everything from full kitchen remodel, new floors, bathroom remodels, hardware finishes, etc. He and his team had great communication with me throughout the project and kept me informed at every step of the way. The quality of their work speaks for itself and my family couldn't be happier with the results. I would 10/10 recommend working with Andrew for your contractor needs! read more

JG Decor did a great job with our bathroom remodel. Andrew provided us with a detailed and timely written estimate, which we greatly appreciated. The estimate was reasonable. His team showed up on time and worked lengthy hours. In some cases, they showed up on the weekend to do some work. Andrew is readily available and easy to communicate with during the job. We're happy with the way our bathroom turned out. read more

I hired Andrew and his team for my house exterior paining. Excellent experience from start to finish! The team showed up right on time every day, communicated clearly, and stayed accountable throughout the entire project. The exterior paint looks fantastic -- clean, even, and exactly as promised. No surprises, just quality work and professionalism. Highly recommend! read more

Top quality service for my primary bathroom renovation and other jobs that I requested along the way. Thanks!!!

I got my house remodeled from this company as shown on the portfolio. Every bathroom, all of the flooring, plumbing, hardware, and carpet was done. After one year, the grouting was coming out. Only one of his workers, Louis, does all of the actual work but it's incomplete. Our toilet plumbing was done incorrectly and it leaked onto our ceiling right after the remodel in which he had to come and cut a hole to repair it yet again. The tile installation and grouting is uneven. The tiles have started to crack in many areas. It's not a professional job. We had a leakage issue in one of our bathrooms. Louis came, took out the toilet as well as the carpet, and didn't even bother to put it back. Now they won't answer my calls or texts. And I have an unusable bathroom. They are asking an unreasonable amount to put it back and didn't even inform me before doing this. I would think twice before hiring them. read more

Andrew and his team did a excellcent job for my house remodel. For the quotes I received, his proposal is the best for me. During the remodeling time, I was in NorCal, he always have a quick repsone to me for any questions from my side, he also provided lots of valuable suggestions for my remodel project. He finished the job on time so that we can move into our new home on schedule. read more

Andrew and his team completed a bathroom remodel for us (a couple pictures are posted). The end result looks great. He and his team care about quality/craftsmanship. A couple unforeseen issues related to plumbing came up which were outside of his control (and outside the original scope of the project). I think he was fair in his handling of the situation/costs. Bottom line, I would recommend Andrew as I have in the past. read more

Andrew and his team did a fantastic and thorough job and was completely responsive the whole way. I started off hiring them to just paint my new house but ended up having them do so much more. They pretty much do everything related to the home you can think of. Highly recommend and will be doing business with them again for sure! read more

JG Decor was referred to us by a friend and we're glad we went with JG Decor. Andrew was very professional and detailed. He was able to provide a good rundown of the work to be done and the timeline it would take. We got our kitchen remodeled. The work was done very well with good craftsmanship. I am very pleased with our kitchen. I want to thank Andrew, Luis and the whole team for remodeling our kitchen! Highly recommend JG Decor for your contractor needs. read more

Before you hire them. Read the other low reviews. Pretty much spot on. Lacking attention to detail. Painful process towards the end. Did a bathtub remodel and the grout from the shower wall tiles started seeping out immediately after initial usage. They came back to fix it a second time with sanded grout, seeped out again. I had to use extra money and my own time to research the solution myself and pickup waterproof silicone to fix the issue. Because they kept on insisting on using sanded grout when obviously it was not working. This baffled me, how I had to find the fix to the problem when I had paid them a lot of money to get the job done The cut tiles look like paper cuts up close with ragged edges. There are spots where water pools up because the tile was not laid down with the proper slope. Andrew doesn't do any of the work himself. He has contractors that work for him. Whom are left unsupervised to get the job done. The quality of work was not anywhere close to the standards that I read in the other reviews and I would definitely not use them again. Nor would I recommend them to anyone. read more

Jg Decor has a level of quality and professionalism that you don't see these says. We had to do a full house renovation with bathroom remodel and Andrew and his team were all very courteous and exceptional in their skill and the commitment to finishing the project. Luis was a great person to a very honest worker. My family had to leave on a trip and we entrusted Andrew and his team with the keys to the house. Needless to say, everything was well taken care of on our return with the house looking better after we came back. Andrew and his team definitely does top quality work and you will feel like you are not getting ripped off, because not only are his prices great, but if you have any questions, Andrew and his team are always willing to answer and provide advice. We look forward to working with Jg Decor again for future projects read more

If you're looking for a contractor to do small jobs, find someone else. My understanding is JG Decor will not accept working for you, if it's under a couple thousand dollars. I recently contacted Andrew for an estimate for several jobs in my house. I had hired him about 7 years ago for a bathroom remodel, and they did a good job. Because I needed to get a brand new AC for my house recently, (and they are really costly!) I decided to reduce the amount of work due to budget constraints. I wanted to hire him for one of the jobs that I had mentioned him. Andrew first told me to wait as he was away. Then didn't reply my texts. When I called him, he told me the job was too small for him and wouldn't be worth his time. I am also surprised about the insulting comment he made about me being now divorced, ( I was married when he did the bathroom job for us). I was hoping to use his services but I don't think I'll contact him again. read more

Before my husband and I moved into our new home, there were some small adjustments we wanted to make to really make it feel fresh, new, and like it was ours. What a HUGE difference a good patching, new paint, and shutters make! For all the windows, we replaced curtain rods/curtains with new shutters. Such as massive improvement in terms of look and appeal. For the paint work, we were a bit more selective to focus in on several main areas - fresh paint for the front door, all throughout the living room, bedrooms, and hallways, a couple ceilings, and a mismatched door. There were some sizable holes leftover from the previous owners with TV mounts and random cables & plates that didn't serve any purposes. You would have NEVER known those were there as the patch work was perfect and blended well with everything. Andrew and his team did all the work faster than originally quoted/anticipated and were able to meet our timeline needs before moving in. On top of that, their prices were incredibly reasonable and competitive. I look forward to the next time I can work with JG Decor on other projects around our home! read more

I gladly recommend Andrew's team for a remodel. Polite, prompt, professional, clean, honest, and hard working is how I would describe the crew that worked in our home. We had a furnace closet converted into a regular closet. This involved demo, new dry wall (+mudding, sanding, texture, painting), a new light and flooring. The closet looks as though it has always been here (with the bonus of being pristine and ready to go!). We are very happy, and I'm so glad to have the space. As a bonus, when our cat somehow made it into the old grates, they happily helped retrieve him. They cleaned up after themselves, and left no mess. There also seemed to be an issue with our furnace going out as a result of turning off the power multiple times, and they kindly/quickly resolved it. read more

Andrew's crew did a great job painting our house at a reasonable price. I got multiple estimates and JG Decor was the lowest price. They had several workers to complete the job in a relatively quick time frame. Once the job was complete, my wife pointed out a few areas where the trim could've been touched up and they made the corrections without any issues or complaints. read more

In 2019 I had JG install flooring. It was LVP ("Luxury Vinyl Planks") for a 2 story house, including the stair case. Their bid was competitive and maybe slightly lower than others. We went with them because they did a really good job painting the exterior of my house. I know that painting and flooring are completely different skills but our experience was good with Andrew. Well, Andrew is still a good guy but his flooring people are not as great as his painting people. The good: They were fast and efficient. The job was done in just a few days (part of the nature of LVP). The bad: Attention to detail is lacking. In more obscure places (e.g., laundry room, transition pieces), they left gaps between planks and I had to cut/scrub off glue clumps. Also there are a couple stair lips that are not "fastened" the best. They moved slightly when I put weight on them while the other lips did not. I discovered there is a gap between the lip and the the stair. I notified Andrew and he said he would fix them if they break. Not the response I was looking for. Unfortunately, I didn't discover these issues until a month or so after they completed the job. Maybe I'm being too critical. And I take some blame for not reviewing their work immediately. So please take my review with a grain of salt. read more

Andrew was prompt with getting the job done. We have been doing renovations for several months during my pregnancy. Getting the house painted was our last step during this process. Andrew not only got the job done but in a timely manner so we can get back in our house with our newborn. They did an amazing job, very organized, and left the house immaculate. JG Decor painted three bedrooms for us and installed crown molding and baseboard in one room. Andrew's team finished the work in one day. The work initially seemed good other than some sloppiness near the baseboard. However, after installing new bright overhead lights we realized that there were some small mistakes and sloppy areas. We were disappointed, but Andrew came over with one of his painters and fixed the mistakes. read more

Andrew and his team were so great to work with. We just purchased our home and they demo'ed and replaced our floors and painted the walls. They also helped us with other projects that came up during the renovations, such as moving the kitchen plumbing and replacing a kitchen drywall. We have used JG Décor twice: once for painting our full house exterior and once for painting our entire first-floor interior. We were completely happy with JG Décor's performance both times. Andrew Jeon, the proprietor of JG Décor, is extremely easy to work with. We appreciated his recommendations and explanations for color and texture finishes with respect to our expressed goals. His workers were well-trained, polite, conscientious, and helpful. They went above and beyond our expectations and requests. For example, they disconnected and reconnected all of the pertinent home entertainment electronics perfectly without any effort on our part. When we have additional painting or remodeling work to be accomplished in the future, JG Décor and Andrew will receive our highest consideration. Note: For some reason, Yelp located us in San Francisco! It should have been LA HABRA, CA. read more
